Four formulas for treating epistaxis, (from *Shibian Liangfang*)
1. Consume four or five raw green onions, chopped, remove the large head, place in vinegar, and sip intermittently.
2. Place a drop of water on a hard surface, grind garlic into a paste, and apply to the sole of the foot corresponding to the side of the bleeding; immediately stop bleeding. Wash clean with cold water.
3. Pack ear tightly with paper. This method is derived from the wine pourer.
4. Crush *Brassica rapa* var. *parachinensis* (Zhuge Cai), or *Perilla frutescens* (Shuisu), or radish greens, extract juice, and drink one cup.
Treating Epistaxis (from *Bencao*)
Use millet flour, boiled in water and taken orally.
Epistaxis Formula (from *Bencao*)
Grind *Platycodonis Radix* (Jiegeng) into powder, take with water, one cubic inch per dose, four to five times daily. Also treats hematemesis and hematochezia.

Pack nose with flowers of *Imperata cylindrica* (Baimao Xianghua).
