咸苦温，小毒。
发明 头垢乃相火之余气结成，专开郁结之气。乳痈初起， 灰，酒服即消，以其善祛
胃中积垢也。
甘咸平，无毒。
发明 乳汁治目之功甚捷。目得血而能视，乳即血之源也。用以点眼岂不相宜，老人服
食尤良。但脾虚易泻者勿食。日中曝干入参苓丸服尤为合宜。
甘咸小毒。
发明 爪乃肝气之余，其性锐利，故能催生下胞衣，利小便，治尿血及阴阳易病，破伤
风，去目翳。刮末治鼻衄 之立止。又能治乳蛾。用爪指甲不拘多少 为末，硼砂、白矾各
一钱、西牛黄一分、乌梅、白梅肉各五枚，共捣如泥，含弹大一丸，痰大涌出，三四丸即愈
。但其方酸收太速，不无萌发之患，莫若探吐顽痰迅扫病根为愈。
甘咸热有毒。
发明 牙乃肾之标、骨之余。痘疮倒 用人牙散。因痘疮为风寒秽气所触而变黑倒
，用此 灰，以酒麝达之，窜入肾经，发出毒瓦斯，乃劫剂也。若伏热在心，昏冒不省人事，
及气虚色白痒塌不能作脓，热痱紫泡之证，正宜凉血解毒。苟误用之则郁闷声哑，反成不救
，临证审诸。
甘咸寒无毒。造法，用大竹截段，两头留节，削去外皮，傍钻一孔，用甘草细
末入满于中，以蕉扇柄削圆塞孔，冬至浸大粪池内，立春后取出，悬风处晾干，取用。又法
如前制竹，不入甘草，但用蕉扇柄或杉木塞孔，浸粪池中，以取其汁与金汁无异，仅供一时
取用，不能久藏。粪清亦解瘟热诸毒。又误食毒菌、枫树上菌、及过食银杏，胀闭欲死者，
悉能解之。并解砒石、野葛、野芋等毒。即家芋三年不收，花开如莲者亦能杀人，急取灌吐
，方可得生。
发明 人中黄取粪土之精，以解天行狂热温毒发斑最捷。然汁则性速而能下泄，甘草制
者则性缓而能解毒。兼治河豚菌毒，一切恶疮灾病，用人中黄、酒、大黄末等分，无灰酒服
，须臾泻利，毒即随出。虽大渴不可饮水，饮水则毒邪不散而难救也。急切不可得，以粪坑
代之。
【头垢】
味咸、苦，性温，有小毒。
发明：头垢是相火之余气凝结而成，专门用于开通郁结之气。治疗乳痈（乳房急性化脓性疾病）初起时，将头垢烧成灰，用酒送服即可消散，因为它善于祛除胃中的积滞污垢。
【乳汁】
味甘、咸，性平，无毒。
发明：乳汁治疗眼疾的功效非常迅速。眼睛得到血液滋养才能视物，而乳汁正是血的源头。用它来滴眼难道不适宜吗？老年人服用尤其好。但是脾胃虚弱容易腹泻的人不要食用。如果在中午晒干后加入人参、茯苓丸中服用更为合适。
【爪甲】
味甘、咸，有小毒。
发明：指甲是肝气之余，其性质锐利，所以能催生下胞衣（胎盘），通利小便，治疗尿血以及阴阳易病（伤寒愈后因房事复发的疾病）、破伤风，去除目翳（角膜云翳）。刮取粉末治疗鼻衄（鼻出血）可立即停止。又能治疗乳蛾（扁桃体炎）。使用指甲不拘多少量研为粉末，配合硼砂、白矾各一钱、西牛黄一分、乌梅和白梅肉各五枚，共同捣烂如泥，含服如弹子大的一丸，痰液大量涌出，服用三四丸即可痊愈。但是这个方子酸收作用太快，不免有引发隐患的担忧，不如探吐顽痰以迅速扫除病根来得彻底。
【人牙】
味甘、咸，性热，有毒。
发明：牙齿是肾的外标、骨骼之余。治疗痘疮倒靥（痘疹塌陷不起）用人牙散。因为痘疮是因为被风寒秽气侵袭而变黑倒靥，使用此药烧成灰，用酒和麝香引导它进入肾经，发出毒瓦斯，这是劫夺邪气的猛剂。如果是伏热在心，神志昏蒙不省人事，以及气虚面色苍白、瘙痒塌陷不能化脓，热痱紫泡的证候，正应该凉血解毒。如果误用人牙，会导致郁闷声哑，反而成为无法救治的局面，临证时必须审慎考察。
【人中黄】
味甘、咸，性寒，无毒。
造法：截取大竹一段，两头保留竹节，削去外皮，旁边钻一个孔，将甘草细末填满其中，用蕉扇柄削圆塞住孔口，冬至日浸泡在大粪池内，立春后取出，悬挂在通风处晾干，然后取用。另一种方法如前制作竹筒，但不放入甘草，只用蕉扇柄或杉木塞住孔口，浸泡在粪池中，以此取得汁液，与金汁没有区别，只供一时取用，不能长久保存。粪清也能解除瘟热等各种毒素。另外，误食毒蘑菇、枫树上的菌类，以及过量食用银杏导致腹胀闭塞快要死亡的情况，都能解除毒性。还能解砒石、野葛、野芋等毒。即使是家种芋头三年不收获，花开像莲花一样的也能杀人，紧急时灌服催吐，才可以得救。
发明：人中黄汲取粪土的精华，用来解除天行狂热温毒发斑（流行性温热病导致的高热和皮肤斑疹）最为快捷。然而汁液则药性迅猛并能向下排泄，用甘草炮制过的则药性缓和并能解毒。兼治河豚菌毒，一切恶疮灾病，用人中黄、酒、大黄末各等分，用无灰酒送服，片刻之后腹泻，毒素随即排出。虽然极度口渴也不可以喝水，喝水则毒邪不散而难以救治。如果急切间得不到人中黄，可以用粪坑水代替。
[Head Scum]
Salty, bitter, warm, slightly toxic.
Invention: Head scum is formed from the residual qi of ministerial fire and is specifically used to open up stagnant qi. For early-stage mastitis (acute suppurative disease of the breast), burning head scum into ash and taking it with wine can dissipate the swelling, as it excels at removing accumulated filth in the stomach.
[Milk]
Sweet, salty, neutral, non-toxic.
Invention: Milk has a very rapid effect in treating eye diseases. The eyes require blood nourishment to see, and milk is the source of blood. Is it not appropriate to use it for eye drops? It is especially beneficial for the elderly when ingested. However, those with spleen deficiency prone to diarrhea should avoid consuming it. Drying it under the noon sun and incorporating it into Ren Shen Ling Zhu Wan (Ginseng and Poria Pill) is particularly suitable.
[Nails]
Sweet, salty, slightly toxic.
Invention: Nails are the remainder of liver qi; their nature is sharp, thus they can induce the expulsion of the placenta, promote urination, treat hematuria, yin-yang exchange disease (relapse of cold damage due to sexual intercourse after recovery), tetanus, remove corneal nebulae, and stop epistaxis immediately when applied as powder. They can also treat tonsillitis. Take an unspecified amount of fingernails, grind them into powder, mix with one qian of Borax, one qian of Alum, one fen of Western Musk (Calculus Bovis), five dried dark plums, and five pieces of white plum flesh. Pound together into a paste, form a pill the size of a bullet, and hold in the mouth. Phlegm will surge out profusely; three or four pills will cure the condition. However, this formula's astringent action is too rapid, potentially causing hidden dangers. It is better to induce vomiting of stubborn phlegm to swiftly sweep away the root of the disease.
[Human Teeth]
Sweet, salty, hot, toxic.
Invention: Teeth are the external marker of the kidneys and the remainder of bones. Ren Ya San (Human Tooth Powder) is used for inverted smallpox (where pustules fail to rise). Since smallpox turns black and inverts due to invasion by wind-cold and turbid qi, using this medicine burned to ash, guided by wine and musk into the kidney meridian, expels toxic vapors. This is a drastic method. If there is latent heat in the heart causing coma and unconsciousness, or if there is qi deficiency with pale complexion, itching, collapse, inability to suppurate, or heat prickly heat with purple blisters, cooling blood and resolving toxicity is indicated. Misusing human teeth will cause depression and hoarseness, rendering the condition incurable. Clinical judgment must be prudent.
[Ren Zhong Huang]
Sweet, salty, cold, non-toxic.
Preparation: Cut a section of large bamboo, retaining nodes at both ends, peel off the outer skin, drill a hole on the side, fill it completely with fine Licorice powder, plug the hole with a rounded banana fan handle, soak it in a large fecal pit on the Winter Solstice, retrieve it after the Start of Spring, hang it in a ventilated place to dry, then use. Another method: prepare the bamboo tube as above but do not add licorice; plug the hole with a banana fan handle or cedar wood, soak in the fecal pit to obtain the juice, which is identical to Jin Zhi (Golden Juice), suitable only for immediate use and cannot be stored long-term. Fecal supernatant can also resolve various toxins from epidemic heat. Additionally, it resolves poisoning from poisonous mushrooms, fungi on maple trees, and excessive consumption of ginkgo nuts causing abdominal distension and closure nearing death. It also resolves poisoning from realgar, wild kudzu vine, and wild taro. Even cultivated taro left unharvested for three years, blooming like lotuses, can be fatal; urgent induction of vomiting upon ingestion can save life.
Invention: Ren Zhong Huang extracts the essence of feces and earth, making it most effective for resolving epidemic febrile diseases characterized by high fever and macular eruptions caused by warm toxins. However, the juice acts rapidly and promotes downward purgation, whereas that processed with Licorice acts mildly and resolves toxicity. It treats pufferfish and mushroom poisoning, and all malignant sores and calamitous diseases. Mix equal parts of Ren Zhong Huang, wine, and Rhubarb powder; take with non-ash wine. Diarrhea occurs shortly after, and toxins are expelled. Although extreme thirst may occur, water should not be drunk, as drinking water prevents the dispersion of toxic pathogens and makes rescue difficult. If Ren Zhong Huang is urgently unavailable, fecal pit water can serve as a substitute.
