【蜈蚣】

【鲈鱼】
味酸、咸，性寒。归入手少阴心经。功效专门用于利水，清除湿热，消除肿毒。配合乳香使用可治疗惊风闷乱（小儿惊风引起的烦躁不安）。将鱼肉和面做成馄饨食用，可治疗痴癫（精神失常）。如果是温病导致的大热狂言（高热说胡话）、大腹黄胆（腹部胀大且发黄）、肾风香港脚（肾脏受风邪导致的下肢肿痛，即痛风或水肿），可将鲈鱼作为佐使药使用。或者将其晒干研成粉末，或用盐水化开成水，或轻微炙烤，或烧成灰，这些方法都可以。如果中了鲈鱼的毒，可以用盐水解毒。蚯蚓泥就是蚯蚓的粪便，味甘、性寒，能泻热解毒，治疗赤痢（红色脓血便）。

味苦，性寒。归入足厥阴肝经。功效专门用于泻热，治疗目疾（眼部疾病），点眼可消除赤肿障翳（眼睛红肿及角膜云翳）。治疗喉痹痰涎（咽喉肿痛伴有痰液），涂抹可治疗热疮。治疗骨哽。鱼肉能益气力，同韭白一起煮食，可治疗香港脚脚弱烦闷（下肢无力、烦躁胸闷）。

【鳜鱼/四鳃鲈】
味甘，性平，有小毒。归入手、足太阴脾经、足太阳膀胱经和手、足阳明胃经。功效专门用于补五脏，益筋骨，调和肠胃。做成鳜鱼汤食用尤其好。晒干后非常香美。又名四鳃。产于吴地松江府城。食用其肝脏会剥落人的面皮。与乳酪同食会产生剧毒，无法解救。如果中了这种毒，芦根汁可以解毒。
[Centipede]
Taste: Acrid; Nature: Warm; Toxicity: Toxic. Meridian Tropism: Foot-Jueyin Liver Meridian. Efficacy: Specifically treats Shizhu (a chronic consumptive disease often accompanied by foul odors) and evil qi. In cases of umbilical wind with mouth contraction (neonatal tetanus characterized by umbilical redness and tight lips), remove the head, feet, tail, and exoskeleton. Roast mint leaves over fire until powdered, mix with pig's milk for oral administration; this is highly effective. Centipedes are inhibited by spiders, slugs, chicken manure, mulberry bark, salt, and garlic. It induces abortion in pregnant women.
[Lateolabrax japonicus / Sea Bass]
Taste: Sour, Salty; Nature: Cold. Meridian Tropism: Hand-Shaoyin Heart Meridian. Efficacy: Specifically promotes diuresis, clears damp-heat, and reduces swelling and toxicity. When combined with Frankincense (Ruxiang), it treats convulsive disorders with restlessness. Eating dumplings made with its meat and flour treats insanity. For warm diseases presenting with high fever and delirious speech, abdominal distension with jaundice, or renal wind with podagra (gout-like swelling in lower limbs), use it as an assistant drug. It can be sun-dried and powdered, dissolved in salt water, lightly roasted, or burned to ash; all methods are applicable. Poisoning from its consumption is resolved with salt water. Earthworm mud (excrement of earthworms) has a sweet taste and cold nature; it drains heat, resolves toxicity, and treats bloody dysentery.
[Cyprinus carpio / Common Carp]
Taste: Sweet; Nature: Neutral. Meridian Tropism: Hand-Taiyin Spleen Meridian, Foot-Taiyin Spleen Meridian, Hand-Shaoyin Heart Meridian, Foot-Shaoyin Kidney Meridian. Efficacy: Specifically descends water qi, promotes urination, and treats cough with rebellious qi, podagra with jaundice. Combined with Atractylodes Macrocephala Rhizome (Baizhu), Angelica Sinensis Radix (Danggui), White Peony Root (Baishao), and Fresh Ginger (Shengjiang), it is named Carp Decoction (Liyu Tang), treating edema during pregnancy. Made into soup, it treats metrorrhagia and hemorrhoids. Fish bones burned to ash treat fish bone impaction in the throat. Gallbladder is bitter, brightens vision, and when combined with Black Amur Bream gallbladder, treats cataracts.
