药后觉小便涩，急煎灯心汤调琥珀末二钱服之，即恶核自小便出。琥珀末须预先研下，准备

治疗痈疽、发背，一切疮肿。尚未结成脓块的，服用后内部消散；已经结成脓块的，服用后容易溃破。兼能减轻疼痛。
金银草（一名忍冬草，一名鹭鸶藤）
以上药材不论多少，锉碎。每次服用一两，用水一盏，酒一盏，煎至一盏半，去渣滓，分作两次服用，不拘泥于特定时间。
治疗气血凝滞，结核不消，欲形成瘰疬者。（以下为治疗瘰疬的方剂。）

Treats internal ulceration of the back carbuncle (Fabei), and critical conditions where toxic heat attacks upward, causing vomiting, nausea, and retching. For patients suffering from sores and boils, it is advisable to take one or two doses daily to internally support the healthy qi, preventing toxic heat from attacking the zang-fu organs.
Zhen Lüdou Fen (True Mung Bean Powder) (4 liang; if unavailable, use peeled mung beans ground finely into powder) Ruxiang (Frankincense) (1 liang, separately ground)
Grind the above ingredients together until extremely fine. Take 1 qian per dose, mix with a small amount of freshly drawn cold water, sip slowly, and retain the medicine in the chest and diaphragm area. There are cases where epistaxis (nosebleed) was cured by this method.
Treats carbuncles, back carbuncles, and all types of swelling sores. If not yet suppurated, internal consumption occurs after taking; if already suppurated, it facilitates easy rupture. It also alleviates pain.
Jinyin Cao (Honeysuckle Vine), also known as Rendong Cao (Lonicera Vine) or Lusi Teng (Egret Vine).
Take an appropriate amount of the above herbs, chop them finely. Take 1 liang per dose, decoct with 1 cup of water and 1 cup of wine until reduced to 1.5 cups, strain, and divide into two doses. Take at any time.
Treats stagnation of qi and blood, indurated nodules that do not resolve, and impending scrofula (Luoli). (The following is a prescription for scrofula.)

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Take 3 qian per dose, mix with egg white from a black hen to form a paste, and apply topically to the affected area.
Treats chronic scrofula that has persisted for years without healing.

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, mix with egg juice from a black hen, and roll into pills the size of paulownia seeds. On an empty stomach, swallow 2 pills with clear tea water; take 3 pills after noon; take 4 pills before bedtime.
Treats scrofula with indurated nodules that do not resolve.
Lqiao (Forsythia Fruit) Guijianyu (Celastrus Ramulus) Qumai (Dianthus Herb) Gancao (Licorice Root) (stir-baked. All four ingredients in equal proportions)
Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Take 2 qian per dose, swallow with rice wash water, before bedtime.
Treats scrofula.
