Treat both root and branch (insomnia when lying down, inability to walk, foot swelling when sitting, swelling subsides when lying down; symptoms belong to damp-phlegm, not Hong Kong foot).

Liver wind carrying phlegm, upper jiao clear orifices are obstructed. Use clearing, sedating, liver-soothing and qi-descending treatment (person had history of fainting and falling in youth).

Sore throat, cough with sputum, chest distension, loose stools; this is middle deficiency causing jueyin liver wind transformation. Regulate middle and moisten lung.
