The Number One Golden Wound Medicine (Cheng Shanling). Treats injuries from knives and axes as well as falls and bruises. Crush the medicine and apply it to the wound; it stops bleeding and relieves pain immediately, prevents suppuration, and is far superior to other medicines.
Pig fat from a wild boar (1 jin 4 liang), Yellow beeswax, Pine rosin (6 liang each), Frankincense (Roasted on bamboo leaves to remove oil), Dragon's blood, Child's tea (1 liang each), Silver powder (Stir-fried and sifted, 4 liang), Camphor ice (3 liang, ground into an extremely fine powder), Borneol, Musk (0.6 fen each), Myrrh (Roasted on bamboo leaves to remove oil).
Grind all the above medicines into an extremely fine powder. First, melt the pig fat, pine rosin, and yellow beeswax together, filter out the dregs, and let it cool. Then add the medicinal powder and stir evenly. Store in a porcelain container, ensuring it is airtight.
Another prescription (Xu Yuansheng). Old pine rosin, quantity unspecified. Boil thoroughly in fresh river water in a full pot. Remove, pull and stretch, soak in cold water, change the water, boil again, and pull again. Repeat this process nine times to remove the bitter water. Then melt it in a copper pot, pour into cold water without pulling, let it cool, and melt again. Repeat this three times. Select 10 liang of clean pine rosin, add 1 liang each of frankincense and myrrh (oil removed), grind finely, mix evenly, and apply to the wound. Bind tightly with silk gauze. It stops bleeding and pain, reconnects tendons, generates muscle tissue, prevents suppuration and ulceration, and is also effective for traumatic injuries and skin breaks. Avoid raw alcohol, fresh fish, tofu, and pickled vegetables.
Another prescription. Wash fish maw, wrap in hemp cloth, and boil until soft. Strain through the cloth while hot. Add 2 qian each of frankincense and myrrh (oil removed) and 6 fen of silver powder. Pound uniformly. Take a piece of green cloth, pin it to a new wooden board, scrape the medicine onto the cloth with a bamboo knife, and let it dry for storage. According to the size of the wound, soften the medicated cloth in boiling water, place it on green silk, and paste it onto the wound to stop bleeding and pain. When healing is nearly complete, if a small opening remains, soften the previous medicine and insert it into the wound to close it.
Golden wounds and Yang-pattern swelling/toxins. Insert large licorice root (Gancao) into a bamboo tube with the green skin removed. Seal the tube holes with oil putty. Place it in a manure pit on the day of Start of Winter. Retrieve it one day before Start of Spring, stand it upright, and dry in the shade. Break the bamboo, take the licorice, grind it finely. For dry golden wounds, mix with water and apply; for moist wounds, sprinkle dry powder directly. Effective internally for heat toxins and epidemic toxins. (This refers to Renzhonghuang).
Another prescription. Grind white pine rosin finely. Press the wound edges together with hands, apply a thick layer of powder, and bind tightly with cloth. Protects against wind and water; heals within ten days.
Another prescription
Lead powder, Frankincense (oil removed), Weathered calcined iron oxide, Myrrh (oil removed, 1 liang each), Calcined alum (3 qian).
Grind finely and sprinkle on the wound.
Another prescription. Peel off the black outer skin of longan seeds, roast on a yin-yang tile, grind into fine powder, and sprinkle dry. Highly effective.

Another prescription. Any old or new silk/cotton, or old felt hats, can be burned to ash and applied.
Another prescription. Grind silkworm excrement (Wancangsha) into powder and sprinkle. Bind tightly with silk strips to stop bleeding and generate muscle.
Another prescription. Ash from the edge of an old felt hat worn for many years. Sprinkle or apply.
Another prescription. Stir-fry 1 liang of White peony root (Baishao) until yellow, grind into fine powder. Mix with wine and take 2 qian to relieve pain.
Another prescription. Fill the wound with powdered yellow beeswax, wrap with cloth/bandage. Heals in two to three days.
Another prescription. Grind Cold water stone (Hanshuishi) into powder and apply. Fastest pain relief.
Another prescription. Grind raw Chinese gallnut (Sheng Wubeizi) into powder and sprinkle dry. Divine effect for uncontrollable bleeding.
Another prescription. Apply the white sap from mulberry tree bark to the wound to stop bleeding.
Another prescription. Chew Luzi (likely referring to a specific fruit/nut, contextually similar to Areca or similar astringent fruit) and apply to the wound. Stops bleeding immediately without adverse effects; even more effective for broken skin.
