锻石酒 主生毛发须眉。去大风。

上锉如麻豆大。去连翘。另锉梧桐泪。研白豆蔻二分。为细末。二味另放。麝香、虻虫、水蛭、三味。为末。另放。
外都作一服。水二大盏煎。酒一匙。入连翘煎至一盏六分。再入梧桐泪、白豆蔻二味。并麝香等三味。再
上火煎一二沸。去渣。稍热。早饭后午饭前服。忌酒油面生冷硬物。活法机要云。先桦皮散从少至多。
服五七日。灸承浆穴七壮。灸疮愈再灸。再愈。三灸之后。服二圣散。泄热祛血去邪戒房室。三年病愈。此
先治其卫。后治其营也。试效方治段库使用补气泄营汤。此治营多于卫也。
解砒霜霉方(补)
米醋 芝麻油
生绿豆末。敷砒疡患处作痛或腐溃。用湿泥频涂换之。若毒入胸膈苦楚。或作吐泄。饮米醋三杯。即止。
多少不妨。或生绿豆。芝麻油俱可。
解雄黄毒方（补）
敷贴雄黄药闷乱或吐泄。用防己煎汤解之。
解川乌草乌毒方（补）
大豆 远志 防风 甘草
盖中其毒者。闷乱流涎。或昏愦呕吐。或出血吐血。仍用四味煎汤解之。未应。用生姜汁甘草解之。
解巴豆毒方（补）
生川连
敷贴巴豆之药。患处作痛。肌肉溃烂。用水调末敷之。若毒入内。吐泄频作。急以水调二钱饮之。或赤小
豆菖蒲汁可。
解藜芦毒方
敷贴。毒入内。急煎生葱汤解。
六畜自然死亡的肉。猪、狗以及牛、羊的肉。马、鹿、鹅、鸡等动物的肉。冬瓜和黄瓜（指两种瓜类）。大菜（泛指某些蔬菜）以及茄子、芋头。黄豆同花椒、生姜一起食用。甲鱼（团鱼）以及黄鳝、虾。所有水族动物总会导致疮疡发作。
面食以及红薯。生冷食物以及各种香料。煎炸炒制的食物会阻碍气机运行。生盐以及醋、酱。菜籽油以及芝麻油。不吃这些才算是好的。冬天的酒适宜少量饮用。烧酒不要举杯喝。
更应该严格戒除的是：夫妻不要同房。
猪肉中后腿肉味道鲜美。海参和老鸭可以品尝。海带配合木耳。绿豆和黑豆是好的。萝卜和苋菜味道美。豆角和苦瓜芳香。莴苣自然可以食用。苦白菜香。
鱼类只有青鱼好。用盐炒过就没有妨碍。茶油可以用来烹饪。食材的宜忌在此详细说明。

治疗大麻风恶疾的方子
黑豆使用细小的乌豆。挑选那些摩擦皮肤不掉屑的。取三月四月天雄乌头的苗及根。干净去掉泥土。不要清洗。捣碎绞取汁液。浸泡豆子一整夜。滤出晒干。像这样重复七次。才可以服用。初次服用三枚。逐渐增加到六七枚。每天服用一次。禁止房事。猪肉、鱼、鸡、蒜。全身毛发就会再生。如果犯了禁忌就不会痊愈。衍义说：黑豆黑色通肾。用天雄乌头来制约。力量能破除风毒。所以治疗大麻风首推此方。
岐伯神圣散 治疗疠病痈疽。癞疥瘫风痿。骨肉疽败。百节痛。眉毛头发脱落。身体隐隐约约瘙痒。眼睛疼痛溃烂。耳聋牙齿腐烂。痔疮漏下。方剂组成：
天雄、白附子、茵芋（《外台秘要》作茵草）、踯躅花、细辛、乌头、石南叶、干姜（各一两）、川椒、防风、菖蒲（各二两）、白术、独活（各三两）
共同研磨成末过筛。用酒送服一方寸匕。每天三次。不要增加剂量。
衍义说：这是驱除风毒的峻猛药物。聚集在方中。不是岐伯不能创制。不是千金（指孙思邈或《千金方》）不能用。只有形体壮实、正气旺盛、邪正俱盛的人适合使用。
野狼毒散
野狼毒、秦艽（各等分）
共同研磨成末过筛。用酒送服一方寸匕。每天三次。五十天痊愈。
衍义说：野狼毒杀虫辟毒。秦艽驱逐湿痹。确实是治疗疠风的专用药。
又一方
炼制松脂投入冷水中二十遍。用蜂蜜做成丸药。服用二两。遇到饥饿时就服用。每天三次。鼻梁骨断裂离开的，服用二百天痊愈。禁食盐和杂食，禁止房事。另外用天门冬酒送服一百天痊愈。
衍义说：松脂去除风燥湿邪。用天门冬酒送服，取其滋润干燥的作用。
锻石酒 主要功效是生毛发须眉。去除大风邪。
锻石（一石酒拌湿蒸令气足）、松脂（炼成十斤为末）、上曲（斗二升）、黍米（一石）
以上四味药。先用大锅炒锻石。用木扎筷子插在灰中。火出来为止。用枸杞根切碎五斗。水一石五斗。煮取九斗。去掉渣滓。用来淋洗锻石三遍澄清。用锻石汁调和药曲。根据汁液的多少。按照酿酒的方法。完成后。密封四个七天（二十八天）后开封。经常让酒气相通为标准。百无禁忌。不得接触风邪。其米泔水和饭糟这一件事。不得让人畜及犬鼠吃。都要深深埋起来。这酒九月制作二月停止。恐怕热。隔上热的人。服用后进几口冷饭压住它。妇人不能饮食。黄瘦积年。以及蓐风。不过一石酒就能痊愈。其中的松脂末在初酿酒摊饭时。均匀撒在饭上。等饭冷了再投入。这酒饭宜冷。不然就会变成醋。应该知道这一点。
衍义说：锻石烈火烧制而出。性质最暴烈。所以《本经》治疗疽疡毒热恶疮。顽固疾病。死肌。掉眉毛杀虫。去黑子。息肉。松脂经历风霜。质地刚强。燥散。《本经》治疗痈疽恶疮。脚挛手折。顽疡白秃。配合枸杞根的甘寒。《本经》治五内邪气。热中消渴。周痹。风湿。久服坚筋骨。用来酿酒。能生眉发。这不是去除大风的明显验证吗？
商陆根方 治疗大风。眉毛头发脱落。赤白癞病。八风十三痹。筋急肢节缓弱。水肿痈疽。疥癣恶疮。脚挛手折。眼暗洞泄。痰饮宿寒冷诸证。
商陆根、苍耳子（各二十五斤）、曲
用这三味药。合在瓮中。用水一斛浸泡。蒸熟黍米一石。酿造如家常方法。使曲米相互淹没。三次酿造完毕。密封三七二十一天后打开查看。曲浮酒熟。澄清。温服三升。轻者二升。药发吐下为佳。适宜吃软煮饭。牛羊鹿羹。禁生冷醋骨及猪犬鸡鱼等。
衍义说：前面的锻石酒。治疗大风顽痹。这个商陆酒。治疗大风痹烂。然而只有血气未衰竭。形体浮肿。能够承受荡涤作用的。适宜使用。
治疗疯病身体感觉像虫子爬行的方子
用盐一斗。水一石。煎减半。澄清。温洗浴三四遍。并治疗一切风热。
又一方
纯灰汁洗脸。不超过一个月就痊愈。
又一方
用大豆浸泡饭浆水。每天早晚温洗面。洗头发。不干净少加面。不要用清水冲洗。不超过十次。

以上四味药。用醋一升合捣。令热。擦拭身体每天三次。

用三年陈醋磨乌贼骨。先用布擦拭皮肤令发红。敷上药。

用醋磨硫黄涂上。集验方磨硫黄、附子使其热。将要睡觉时。用布擦拭患处。然后敷药。

蜣螂捣烂涂之。应当揩擦令热封上。一夜痊愈。

共同研末揩上。并用水送服。

补气泄营汤
升麻、连翘（各六分）、苏木、当归、全蝎、川连、地龙、北（各五分）、黄芩（分半）、甘草（分半）、人参（二分）、生地（四分）、桃仁（五分）、桔梗（五分）、麝香（三厘）、桐泪（一分）、水蛭（三条）、虻虫（三个）
以上锉如麻豆大。去连翘。另锉梧桐泪。研白豆蔻二分。为细末。二味另放。麝香、虻虫、水蛭、三味。为末。另放。外都作一服。水二大盏煎。酒一匙。入连翘煎至一盏六分。再入梧桐泪、白豆蔻二味。并麝香等三味。再上火煎一二沸。去渣。稍热。早饭后午饭前服。忌酒油面生冷硬物。活法机要云。先桦皮散从少至多。服五七日。灸承浆穴七壮。灸疮愈再灸。再愈。三灸之后。服二圣散。泄热祛血去邪戒房室。三年病愈。此先治其卫。后治其营也。试效方治段库使用补气泄营汤。此治营多于卫也。
解砒霜霉方(补)
米醋、芝麻油
生绿豆末。敷砒疡患处作痛或腐溃。用湿泥频涂换之。若毒入胸膈苦楚。或作吐泄。饮米醋三杯。即止。多少不妨。或生绿豆。芝麻油俱可。
解雄黄毒方（补）
敷贴雄黄药闷乱或吐泄。用防己煎汤解之。
解川乌草乌毒方（补）
大豆、远志、防风、甘草
盖中其毒者。闷乱流涎。或昏愦呕吐。或出血吐血。仍用四味煎汤解之。未应。用生姜汁甘草解之。
解巴豆毒方（补）
生川连
敷贴巴豆之药。患处作痛。肌肉溃烂。用水调末敷之。若毒入内。吐泄频作。急以水调二钱饮之。或赤小豆菖蒲汁可。
解藜芦毒方
敷贴。毒入内。急煎生葱汤解。
Raw meat of livestock that died naturally. Meat from pigs, dogs, cattle, and sheep. Meat from horses, deer, geese, chickens, etc. Winter melon and cucumbers (referring to two types of melons). "Da Cai" (a general term for certain vegetables) along with eggplants and taro. Soybeans consumed together with Sichuan pepper and ginger. Soft-shelled turtles, eels, and shrimp. All aquatic animals generally trigger the onset of sores and ulcers.
Wheat-based foods and sweet potatoes. Raw and cold foods along with various spices. Fried and stir-fried foods obstruct Qi movement. Raw salt, vinegar, and soy sauce. Vegetable oil and sesame oil. It is best not to consume these. Winter wine may be consumed in small amounts. Do not drink distilled spirits (Baijiu).
Even more strictly prohibited: marital intercourse should be avoided.
Pork hind leg meat is delicious. Sea cucumber and old duck can be tasted. Kelp combined with wood ear mushrooms. Green mung beans and black beans are beneficial. Radish and amaranth are tasty. Cowpeas and bitter melon are aromatic. Lettuce is naturally edible. Bitter cabbage is fragrant.
Among fish, only green carp is good. Salt-fried preparation causes no harm. Camellia oil is suitable for cooking. The suitability of ingredients is detailed here.

Formula for Treating Severe Leprosy (Da Feng)
Use fine-grained black soybeans (Wudou). Select those that do not shed skin when rubbed. Take the seedlings and roots of Tianxiong Aconite (Tianxiong Wutou) harvested in the third or fourth lunar month. Cleanly remove soil without washing. Crush and squeeze to extract juice. Soak the beans overnight. Strain and dry. Repeat this process seven times before it is ready for consumption. Initial dose: three beans. Gradually increase to six or seven beans. Take once daily. Abstain from sexual activity. Pork, fish, chicken, and garlic must be avoided; otherwise, body hair will regenerate. If these prohibitions are violated, the disease will not heal. Commentary states: Black beans enter the Kidney channel due to their color. Constrained by Tianxiong Aconite, their power breaks through wind-toxin. Thus, this formula is recommended first for treating leprosy.
Qibo Shensheng San (Qibo Divine Holy Powder)
Indications: Leprosy, carbuncles, furuncles, scabies, paralysis, wind-paralysis, bone and flesh necrosis, pain in all joints, loss of eyebrows and hair, vague itching over the body, eye pain and ulceration, deafness, dental caries, hemorrhoids with fistulae.
Ingredients: Tianxiong (Aconitum kusnezoffii root), Baifu (Typhonium rhizome), Yinyu (Caulis Daphnes), Zhezhu (Datura metel flower), Xixin (Asarum root), Wutou (Aconitum carmichaelii lateral root), Shinan (Acanthopanax sessiliflorus leaf), Ganjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens) (each 1 liang); Chuanjiao (Sichuan pepper), Fangfeng (Saposhnikovia root), Changpu (Acorus tatarinowii rhizome) (each 2 liang); Baizhu (Atractylodes macrocephala rhizome), Duhuo (Angelica pubescens root) (each 3 liang).
Process: Grind all into powder and sieve. Administer one fangcun bi (approx. 5-10g) with wine, three times daily. Do not increase the dose.
Commentary: These are potent drugs for expelling wind-toxin. Only Qibo could have created this formula; only Qianjin (Sun Simiao/Prescriptions Worth a Thousand Gold) could utilize it. It is suitable only for patients with robust physique, strong Zheng Qi (Upright Qi), and vigorous pathogenic factors.
Yelangdu San (Wild Wolf Poison Powder)
Ingredients: Yelangdu (Stellera chamaejasme root), Qin Jiao (Gentiana macrophylla root) (equal parts).
Process: Grind into powder and sieve. Administer one fangcun bi with wine, three times daily. Cure within fifty days.
Commentary: Yelangdu kills parasites and dispels toxin; Qin Jiao expels damp-bi. This is indeed a specific medicine for leprosy.
Another Formula
Refined Pine Resin (Songzhi) is thrown into cold water twenty times. Form pills with honey. Take 2 liang. Take when hungry, three times daily. For nasal bridge collapse, take for 200 days to cure. Abstain from salt, mixed foods, and sexual intercourse. Alternatively, take with Tianmendong Wine (Asparagus Root Wine) for 100 days to cure.
Commentary: Pine resin eliminates wind-dryness and dampness. Taking it with Asparagus Root Wine utilizes its moistening property to counteract dryness.
Duanshi Jiu (Calcined Stone Wine)
Indications: Promotes growth of hair, beard, and eyebrows. Expels severe wind-pathogens.
Ingredients: Duanshi (Calcined stone, prepared by mixing with wine and steaming until qi is sufficient), Songzhi (Refined Pine Resin, 10 jin ground), Shangqu (Fermented grain starter, 1 dou 2 sheng), Shumi (Millet, 1 shi).
Process: Stir-fry Duanshi in a large pot until fire emerges from wooden chopsticks inserted in ash. Chop 5 dou of Goji root (Gouqigen). Boil with 1.5 shi of water to obtain 9 dou. Remove dregs. Use this liquid to wash Duanshi three times until clear. Use the Duanshi liquid to mix with the starter. Follow brewing methods according to the amount of liquid. Seal for four periods of seven days (28 days) then open. Maintain continuous fermentation. No dietary restrictions except avoiding wind exposure. Dispose of rice washings and bran by deep burial; do not let humans, livestock, dogs, or rats consume them. Brew in September, stop in February to avoid heat. For patients with upper jiao heat, eat 3-5 mouthfuls of cold rice after taking the wine. For women with anorexia, chronic jaundice/emaciation, and postpartum wind, one shi of wine suffices for cure. Add refined pine resin powder evenly to the rice when spreading it during initial brewing; add only after rice cools. The rice/wine mixture should be cold; otherwise, it turns to vinegar. Note this.
Commentary: Duanshi is produced by intense fire and is extremely violent. The Classic of Materia Medica indicates it treats carbuncles, toxic heat, malignant sores, stubborn diseases, dead flesh, eyebrow loss, parasite removal, black spots, and polyps. Pine resin withstands wind and frost, possessing a rigid quality that disperses dryness. The Classic indicates it treats abscesses, malignant sores, foot spasms, hand fractures, stubborn sores, and white alopecia. Combined with the sweet-cold nature of Goji root (which treats internal pathogens, heat-thirst, generalized bi, wind-damp), long-term use strengthens sinews and bones. Brewing this into wine promotes hair growth, clearly verifying its ability to expel severe wind.
Shanglu Gen Fang (Phytolacca Root Formula)
Indications: Severe wind, loss of eyebrows/hair, red/white leprosy, eight winds and thirteen bi syndromes, tendon stiffness and joint weakness, edema, abscesses, scabies/tinea/malignant sores, foot spasms, hand fractures, blurred vision, profuse diarrhea, phlegm-fluid retention, chronic cold conditions.
Ingredients: Shanglu (Phytolacca acinosa root), Cang'erzi (Xanthium fruit) (each 25 jin), Qu (Starter).
Process: Combine three ingredients in a jar. Soak in 1 hu of water. Steam 1 shi of millet. Brew using household methods, ensuring starter and rice submerge each other. After three brews, seal tightly for 21 days (3x7). Open to check: if starter floats and wine is ripe, clarify. Warm drink 3 sheng (heavy cases), 2 sheng (light cases). Ideal if medication induces vomiting or purging. Diet: soft cooked rice, beef/mutton/deer broth. Avoid raw/cold foods, vinegar, bones, pork, dog, chicken, fish.
Commentary: The previous Duanshi Wine treats severe wind and stubborn bi. This Shanglu Wine treats severe wind with tissue breakdown. It is suitable only for those whose Qi and Blood are not exhausted and who can tolerate the drastic cleansing effect despite edema.
Formula for Treating Sensation of Insects Crawling on Body in Leprosy
Take 1 dou of salt and 1 shi of water. Boil until reduced by half. Clarify. Wash body warmly 3-4 times. Also treats all wind-heat conditions.
Another Formula
Wash face with pure ash lye. Cure within one month.
Another Formula
Soak soybeans in rice wash water. Warm wash face and hair morning and evening. Add a little flour if not clean. Do not rinse with plain water. Cure within ten washes.
Another Formula
Xionghuang (Realgar), Songzhi (Pine Resin) (equal parts).
Refine and mix with honey to form pills the size of paulownia seeds. Take 10 pills with warm water after meals, three times daily. Cure within 100 days. Avoid alcohol, meat, salt.
Commentary: Salt water bath utilizes water conduction. Ash lye wash removes dampness. These dry dampness and unblock bi, serving as specific medicines for severe wind diseases.
Formula for Treating Itchy Skin White Like Tinea
Chuzi (Broussonetia papyrifera fruit, 3 pieces), Zhu Pancreas (one whole unit), Yan (Salt, 1 sheng), Fanshi (Alum, 1 liang, crushed and calcined).
Process: Crush the four ingredients with 1 sheng of vinegar. Heat. Rub on body three times daily.
Another Formula
Grind three-year aged vinegar with Sepia shell (Oze). First rub skin with cloth until red, then apply.
Another Formula
Grind Sulfur (Liuhuang) with vinegar and apply. Jiyan Fang suggests grinding Sulfur and Fuzi (Prepared Aconite) to make them hot. Before sleep, rub affected area with cloth, then apply medicine.
Another Formula
Crush dung beetles (Qianglang) and apply. Rub to generate heat and cover. Cure overnight.
Another Formula
Bailian (Trichosanthes kirilowii root), Xunluxiang (Frankincense/Ru Xiang).
Grind into powder, rub on affected area, and swallow with water.
Another Formula
Sulfur, Mercury, Oak Bark (Qu Pi, roasted equal parts), Snake Slough (one piece).
Process: Grind and sieve. Mix with clear lacquer. Apply thinly to white patches. Before application, rub the white patch with half a kernel of Croton seed (Badou) until skin is slightly broken, then apply. Cure within 2-3 applications.
Another Formula
Sulfur, Mercury, Alum, Zao Mo (Soot from stove, equal parts).
Grind into powder. Place in mortar. Grind with onion sap. Apply to affected area before sleep.
Commentary: Wind-toxin invades the Qi level; Blood fails to nourish skin/flesh, causing itching known as Bai Dian Feng (Vitiligo). Formula uses Broussonetia fruit to enter Kidney and expel wind. Pig pancreas and Alum dispel filth/toxin. Sepia shell disperses wind in blood vessels. Sulfur breaks Yin evil toxin. Dung beetle extracts toxin and reduces swelling. Bailian and Frankincense resolve toxicity and dissipate nodules. Sulfur, Mercury, Alum, Soot, and Onion Sap cleanse dirt and eliminate parasites. All are external treatments for Vitiligo.
Jiujiang San (Nine Rivers Powder)
Indications: Vitiligo and 260 types of severe wind diseases.
Ingredients: Danggui (Angelica sinensis root, 7 fen), Shinan Teng (Acanthopanax stem, 6 fen), Baifu Zi (Typhonium corm, 1 qian 6 fen), Yang Zhezhu (Datura flower, 1 qian 6 fen), Qin Jiao (Gentiana root, 1 qian 6 fen), Juhua (Chrysanthemum flower, 1 qian 6 fen), Ganjiang (Dried Ginger, 1 qian 6 fen), Fangfeng (Saposhnikovia root, 1 qian 6 fen), Xionghuang (Realgar, 1 qian 6 fen), Dansha (Cinnabar, 1 qian 6 fen), Shexiang (Musk, 1 qian 6 fen), Banmao (Mylabris, 1 qian 6 fen), Chuanjiao (Sichuan Pepper, 8 fen), Lianqiao (Forsythia fruit, 8 fen), Gui Jian Yu (Eucommia bark, 8 fen), Shi Changsheng (unknown herb, 8 fen), Zhimu (Anemarrhena rhizome, 8 fen), Jiubai (Podophyllum fruit, 8 fen), Renshen (Ginseng root, 1 qian 2 fen), Wang Bu Liu Xing (Vaccaria seed, 1 qian 2 fen), Shihu (Dendrobium stem, 1 qian 2 fen), Tianxiong (Aconite root, 1 qian 2 fen), Wutou (Aconite root, 1 qian 2 fen), Duhuo (Angelica pubescens root, 1 qian 2 fen), Fangji (Stephania root, 1 qian 2 fen), Mangcao (Polygonum aviculare, 1 qian 2 fen), Shizhi (Leech, 100 pieces), Wugong (Centipede, 3 pieces), Mengchong (Blue bottle fly larva, 10 grains), Dichan (Blister beetle, 10 grains).
Process: Remove feet and wings from all insects. Roast until cooked. Grind together with other powders into a san (powder). Take one fangcun bi with wine, twice daily. If pathogen enters hair follicles causing whitening, take for 100 days to cure; hair returns to black.
Another Formula: Take 1 he of raw Sesame Oil with wine, three times daily. Gradually increase to 5 he. Avoid raw/cold foods, pork, chicken, fish, garlic. Take 5 dou over 100 days to cure.
Another Formula: Tianxiong, Bailian, Huangqin (Scutellaria root, each 3 liang), Ganjiang (4 liang), Baifu Zi (1 liang), Shanglu, Yang Zhezhu (each 1 sheng). Grind and sieve. Take 5 fen bi with wine, three times daily.
Treating Vitiligo
Fanshi (Alum), Liuhuang (Sulfur) (equal parts).
Grind into powder. Mix with vinegar and apply.
Another Formula: At dawn, collect dew from scallion bulbs with hands and apply. Very effective.
Another Formula: Boil Morus australis (Luomocao) juice and wipe.
Another Formula: Roast snake slough and rub hundreds of times. Discard in grass.
Another Formula: Wash in tree hollow water. Mix cinnamon powder with saliva and apply. Three times daily.
Another Formula: Rub frequently with mercury until hot. Disappears immediately. Stop when cured.
Another Formula: For white patches growing slowly like tinea that do not heal, apply Mullet fat. Rub affected area until painful, then apply.
Another Formula: Moxibustion at Zhongchong (PC 9) on both middle fingers, 3 moxa cones. If not cured, apply external medicine.
Commentary: Jiujiang San collects wind-expelling, blood-breaking, nodule-resolving, and toxin-dispelling herbs. Herbs for Vitiligo. Wind-toxin entering hair causes whitening; taking for 100 days restores black color. Is this not proof that removing wind-toxin restores Qi and Blood? Formula uses Realgar and Dried Ginger to resolve nodules; Bailian and Scutellaria to resolve toxicity; Phytolacca and Datura to break fluid retention. Though simple, its efficacy matches previous formulas. Alum and Sulfur dispel Yin toxins. Scallion dew moistens dryness and disperses blood. Morus wipes away wind and softens hardness. Calcined stone and Pine Resin unblock bi and expel dampness. Snake skin specializes in expelling wind. Cinnamon powder breaks blood. Mercury kills parasites and dispels toxin. Mullet fat also transforms parasites and nourishes blood.
Formula for Removing Purple/Red Marks, Moles, and Facial Blemishes
Ganqi (Lacquer), Cihuang (Orpiment), Fanshi (Alum) (each 3 qian), Xionghuang (Realgar, 5 liang), Badou (Croton seed, 15 grains), Tanpi (Charcoal skin, 1 jin).
Process: Grind into powder. Mix with egg white and apply to old silk. Paste onto affected area. Change twice daily.
Formula for Red Marks
Jingmo (Beijing Ink), Dasuan (Garlic), Shanxue (Eel blood).
Apply together to affected area.
Formula for Pedunculated Moles
Fanshi, Badou, Ru (Radish?), Lilu (Veratrum), Xionghuang, Liuhuang, Zhenzhu (Pearl) (each 1 liang).
Process: Grind and sieve. Mix with true lacquer to mud consistency. Apply to spots. Must cause blistering. To remove purple marks on face/skin. Not suitable for those allergic to lacquer; mix with egg white instead.
Commentary: Wind-toxin injures Blood level, stasis binds to skin forming moles, known as Zi Yun Feng. Formula uses Lacquer to scatter blood; two yellows (Orpiment/Realgar) to dispel toxin; Alum to remove dirt; Croton to break stubbornness; Charcoal skin to disperse fire; Egg white to detoxify and harmonize properties. Garlic clears turbidity; Eel blood disperses stasis; Charcoal skin disperses fire. Pedunculated moles require toxin dispersion and breaking stubbornness. True lacquer is stronger than regular lacquer. Those intolerant to lacquer should use egg white.
Formula for Removing Warts
Pine/Cypress resin mixed and applied. Disappears overnight.
Another Formula: Rub with Sulfur 6-7 times.
Another Formula: Burn Apricot kernels until black, grind into paste, apply.
Another Formula: Rub itchy area with pig fat until slight bleeding occurs. Cures immediately.
Another Formula: Soak Calcined Stone in vinegar for 6-7 days. Drop juice onto warts. They fall off.
Another Formula: Apply cow saliva multiple times; they fall off naturally.
Another Formula: Moxa cone on wart. 3 cones remove it.
Commentary: Pine/Cypress resin dries dampness. Sulfur dispels Yin toxin. Apricot ash removes grease. Pig fat moistens dryness and detoxifies. Vinegar-soaked Calcined Stone effectively removes dead flesh. Cow saliva nourishes and transforms toxic heat. Moxibustion is fastest.
Formula for Sores and Scabs on Waist, Hips, Hands, Feet
Gualou Gen (Trichosanthes root, 4 liang), Qiangwei Gen (Rose root, 3 liang), Queli Genpi (Prunus root bark, 3 liang), Xuan Huanglian (Coptis, 3 liang), Chuan Huangbai (Phellodendron bark, 3 liang), Shaoyao (Peony root, 3 liang), Bei Mian (Flaxseed?, 2 liang), Danggui (Angelica sinensis, 2 liang), Huangqin (Scutellaria root, 2 liang), Baiku Shen (Sophora flavescens root, 2 liang), Shilongrui (Ranunculus root, 2 liang), Dahuang (Rhubarb root, 1 liang), Xuduan (Dipsacus root, 1 liang).
Process: Grind into powder. Make pills with honey, size of paulownia seeds. Take 20 pills with Rose Drink, three times daily. Increase to 30 pills. Stop when cured. Do not take for dry scabies or white tinea. Qianjin Yi says it can treat all carbuncles/furuncles.
Formula for Cold/Heat Sores, Wind Scabies, and Other Mixed Sores
Jiu Gen (Leek root, 1 liang), Fanshi (Alum, 1 liang), Xionghuang (Realgar, 1 liang), Lilu (Veratrum, 1 liang), Guali (Melon seed, 1 liang), Baimi (White Honey, 1 liang), Zhuzhi (Pig Fat, 1 jin), Ru (Radish?, 2 liang), Badou (Croton seed, 14 grains).
Process: First melt pine resin. Add honey. Add powders in three stages (three up, three down). Boil once more. Apply.
Another Formula
Mercury, Alum, Chuanlian (Coptis), Realgar, Chuangzi (Cnidium fruit), Veratrum, Radish (each 1 liang).
Grind into powder. Mix with pig fat until mercury disappears (cooked). Apply. For all sores/scabies/tinea that do not heal for a long time, grind Mercury and Pig Fat extremely finely and apply.
Formula for Finger Joint Curvature and Gradual Detachment (Supplement)
Follows previous Liuxiang San.
Bimazi (Castor bean, shelled), Huanglian (Coptis) (each 1 liang).
Soak in water, adding water gradually. Spring/Summer: 2 days. Autumn/Winter: 5 days. Break castor beans. At dawn, face east, take soaked water. Take 1 bean. Gradually increase to 4-5 beans. Mild purging is desired. Avoid pig oil.
Formula for Lung Meridian Facial Paralysis (Supplement)
Fangfeng (Saposhnikovia root), Huangqin (Scutellaria root), Caojueming (Cassia seed), Chaihu (Bupleurum root), Guishen (Angelica sinensis root), Yinhua (Honeysuckle), Shaoyao (Peony root), Manjingzi (Vittex seed), Qianghuo (Notopterygium root), Bohe (Mint), Gancao (Licorice root).
Use Dengxin (Juncus effusus) as guide. Take 5 doses.
Buqi Xieying Tang (Tonify Qi and Drain Ying Decoction)
Shengma (Cimicifuga root), Lianqiao (Forsythia fruit) (each 6 fen), Sumu (Sappan wood), Danggui (Angelica sinensis), Quanxie (Scorpion), Chuanlian (Coptis), Dilong (Earthworm), Bei [Mian?] (each 5 fen), Huangqin (Scutellaria root, 0.5 fen), Gancao (Licorice root, 0.5 fen), Renshen (Ginseng root, 2 fen), Shengdi (Rehmannia root, 4 fen), Taoren (Peach kernel, 5 fen), Jiegeng (Platycodon root, 5 fen), Shexiang (Musk, 3 li), Tonglei (Paulownia tear/resin, 1 fen), Shizhi (Leech, 3 pieces), Mengchong (Blue bottle fly larva, 3 pieces).
Process: Cut into hemp-seed size. Remove Forsythia. Cut Paulownia resin separately. Grind Cardamom (2 fen) into fine powder. Set aside. Grind Musk, Fly larvae, Leech into powder separately. Combine others for one dose. Decoct in 2 large bowls of water with 1 spoon of wine. Add Forsythia, decoct to 1.6 bowls. Add Paulownia resin and Cardamom powder. Add Musk, Fly larvae, Leech powders. Boil 1-2 more times. Strain. Take slightly warm, between breakfast and lunch. Avoid alcohol, oil, noodles, raw/cold/hard foods. Huofa Jiyao states: First take Huapi San, increasing dose gradually, for 5-7 days. Moxibustion at Chengjiang (CV 24), 7 cones. When moxa sore heals, moxa again. After three rounds of moxa, take Ersheng San. Drain heat, remove blood, expel evil, abstain from sex. Disease cures in 3 years. This treats Wei (Defensive) first, then Ying (Nutritive). Shixiao Fang uses Buqi Xieying Tang for Duan Ku usage. This treats Ying excess relative to Wei.
Formula for Resolving Arsenic Poison (Supplement)
Rice Vinegar, Sesame Oil.
Apply raw Green Bean powder to arsenic sores if painful or ulcerated. Frequently apply and change wet mud. If toxin enters chest/diaphragm causing suffering, or vomiting/diarrhea, drink 3 cups of Rice Vinegar to stop. Amount does not matter. Raw Green Beans or Sesame Oil are also acceptable.
Formula for Resolving Realgar Poison (Supplement)
If applying Realgar causes confusion, vomiting, or diarrhea, decoct Fangji (Stephania root) in soup to resolve.
Formula for Resolving Chuanwu/Caowu Poison (Supplement)
Soybeans, Yuanzhi (Polygala root), Fangfeng (Saposhnikovia root), Gancao (Licorice root).
Poisoning causes confusion, salivation, fainting/vomiting, or bleeding/hematemesis. Decoct these four ingredients to resolve. If ineffective, use Ginger Juice and Licorice.
Formula for Resolving Croton Poison (Supplement)
Raw Chuanlian (Coptis).
If applying Croton causes pain and muscle ulceration, mix powder with water and apply. If toxin enters internally causing frequent vomiting/diarrhea, urgently mix 2 qian with water and drink. Red Bean and Acorus juice are also acceptable.
Formula for Resolving Veratrum Poison
For topical application. If toxin enters internally, urgently decoct Raw Scallion Soup to resolve.
