若夫过关过节，催运气血，以飞经走气，其法有四：一曰青龙摆尾，如扶舡舵，不进不退，一左一右，慢慢拨动。二曰白虎摇头，似手摇铃，退方进员，兼之左右，摇而振之。三曰苍龟探穴，如入土之象，一退三进，钻剔四方。四曰赤凤迎源，展翅之仪，入针至地，提针至天，候针自摇，复进其元，上下左右，四围飞旋。病在上吸而退之，病在下呼而进之。
至夫久患偏枯，通经接气之法有定息寸数。手足三阳，上九而下十四，过经四寸；手足三阴，上七而下十二，过经五寸。在乎摇动出纳，呼吸同法，驱运气血，顷刻周流，上下通接，可使寒者暖而热者凉，痛者止而胀者消，若开渠之决水，立时见功，何倾危之不起哉？虽然病有三因，皆从气血。针分八法，不离阴阳。盖经络昼夜之循环，呼吸往来之不息。和则身体康健，否则疾病竞生，譬如天下国家地方，山海田园，江河溪谷，值岁时风雨均调，则水道疏利，民安物阜。其或一方一所，风雨不均，遭以旱涝，使水道涌竭不同，灾伤遂至。人之气血，受病三因，亦犹方所之于旱涝也。盖针砭所以通经脉，均气血，蠲邪扶正，故曰捷法最奇者哉。
嗟夫!轩岐古远，卢扁久亡，此道幽深，非一言而可尽。斯文细密，在久习而能通。岂世上之常辞，庸流之泛术，得之者若科之及第，而悦于心。用之者如射之发中，而应于目，述自先贤，传之后学，用针之士，有志于斯。果能洞造玄微，而尽其精妙，则世之伏枕之疴，有缘者遇针到病除，随手而愈。
灵 光 赋
三阴三阳十二经，更有两经分八脉。
灵光典注极幽深，偏正头疼泻列缺。
足掌下去寻涌泉，此法千金莫妄传。
此穴多治妇人疾，男蛊女孕两病痊。
诸穴一般治脚气，在腰玄机宜正取。

至于针法中通过关节、穴位以催动气血运行，达到“飞经走气”的效果，共有四种手法：第一种叫青龙摆尾，就像扶船舵一样，不前进也不后退，一左一右，慢慢地拨动。第二种叫白虎摇头，像手摇铃铛一样，退时方进时圆，兼带左右摇晃振动。第三种叫苍龟探穴，如同入土之象，一退三进，向四方钻剔。第四种叫赤凤迎源，展翅的姿态，进针至地部，提针至天部，等待针体自行摇动，再回到原处，上下左右，在四周飞旋。病在上部的，吸气时退针；病在下部的，呼气时进针。
至于长期患有偏瘫（半身不遂）的情况，通经接气的针刺深度有固定的寸数标准。手足三阳经，上部刺九分，下部刺一寸四分，超过经脉界限四寸；手足三阴经，上部刺七分，下部刺一寸二分，超过经脉界限五寸。关键在于摇动和出纳（进出）的手法，配合呼吸同法，驱运气血，顷刻间周流全身，上下贯通连接，可以使寒者变暖、热者变凉，痛者止痛、胀者消胀，就像开渠决水一样，立刻见效，哪有治不好的危重病症呢？虽然疾病有三因（内因、外因、不内外因），但都源于气血。针刺分为八法，不离阴阳。经络昼夜循环不息，呼吸往来不止。调和则身体健康，不调和则疾病丛生，譬如天下国家的地方，山海田园，江河溪谷，遇到岁时风雨均匀调和，则水道疏通顺利，百姓安宁，物产丰富。如果某一地方，风雨不均，遭受旱涝灾害，使水道涌竭不同，灾伤就会到来。人的气血受病于三因，也如同地方遭遇旱涝一样。所以针砭的作用在于通经脉，均气血，祛除邪气扶助正气，所以说这是最奇妙快捷的方法啊。
唉！黄帝岐伯的古道久远，卢医扁鹊早已去世，这门学问幽深微妙，不是几句话能说完的。这篇文字细致严密，需要长期学习才能精通。这不是世俗的常辞，也不是平庸之辈的泛泛之术，得到它的人就像科举及第一样，心里喜悦。使用它的人就像射箭命中靶心一样，眼睛看到效果。叙述自先贤，传授给后学，凡是用针之士，有志于此道。如果能深入探究玄妙精微之处，穷尽其精妙，那么世间卧床不起的疾病，有缘人遇到针到病除，随手而愈。
灵光赋

Regarding the methods of passing through joints and acupoints to urge the movement of Qi and Blood, achieving "Flying Jing and Moving Qi," there are four techniques: The first is called Qinglong Baiwei (Green Dragon Wags Tail), like steering a boat's rudder, neither advancing nor retreating, moving slowly left and right. The second is called Baihu Yaotou (White Tiger Shakes Head), like shaking a hand bell, retreating square and advancing round, combined with left and right shaking and vibrating. The third is called Canggui Tanxue (Grey Turtle Explores the Hole), like the image of entering the earth, one retreat and three advances, drilling and scraping in four directions. The fourth is called Chifeng Yingyuan (Red Phoenix Welcomes the Source), the posture of spreading wings, inserting the needle to the Earth level, lifting it to the Heaven level, waiting for the needle to shake naturally, then returning to its origin, rotating up, down, left, and right around the perimeter. For diseases in the upper part, withdraw the needle during inhalation; for diseases in the lower part, insert the needle during exhalation.
As for long-term hemiplegia, the method of connecting meridians and Qi has fixed cun measurements. The Six Yang Meridians of Hand and Foot: nine fen above, fourteen fen below, exceeding the meridian boundary by four cun; the Six Yin Meridians of Hand and Foot: seven fen above, twelve fen below, exceeding the meridian boundary by five cun. It lies in the manipulation of shaking and insertion/extraction, following the same method as respiration, driving Qi and Blood to circulate throughout the body in an instant, connecting up and down, making the cold warm and the hot cool, stopping pain and eliminating distension, just like opening a canal to release water, seeing results immediately. How can critical illnesses not be cured? Although diseases have three causes (internal, external, and non-internal/external), they all stem from Qi and Blood. Needle techniques are divided into eight methods, inseparable from Yin and Yang. The meridians circulate day and night without ceasing, and respiration comes and goes without end. When harmonious, the body is healthy; otherwise, diseases arise. It is like regions within a country: mountains, seas, fields, rivers, and valleys. If wind and rain are evenly distributed according to the seasons, waterways are smooth, people are peaceful, and goods are abundant. If wind and rain are uneven in a specific place, suffering drought or flood, causing waterways to surge or dry up differently, disasters will occur. Human Qi and Blood, affected by the three causes, are also like places suffering from drought or flood. Therefore, acupuncture and moxibustion serve to unblock meridians, balance Qi and Blood, dispel evil, and support righteousness. Thus it is said that this is the most miraculous and rapid method.
Alas! The ancient ways of Huangdi and Qibo are distant, and Lu Bianjiu has long passed away. This path is profound and subtle, cannot be exhausted in a few words. This text is detailed and meticulous, requiring long-term practice to master. It is not common worldly talk, nor a superficial skill of mediocre practitioners. Those who obtain it feel joy as if passing the imperial examination. Those who use it achieve success as if hitting the bullseye in archery, responding visibly. Narrated by sages past, transmitted to future learners, those who wish to practice acupuncture should strive for this. If one can thoroughly understand the profound mysteries and exhaust its essence, then for those bedridden patients, when the destined person meets the needle, illness is removed instantly, healing follows the hand.
Lingguang Fu (Ode to Spiritual Light)
The acupuncture and moxibustion secrets of Huangdi and Qibo are clearly stated in the classics.
The Twelve Regular Meridians of Three Yin and Three Yang, plus the Eight Extraordinary Vessels.
The annotations of Lingguang are extremely profound; for lateral and frontal headaches, reduce Lieque (LU7).
Jingming (BL1) treats pterygium; Tinghui (GB2) treats deafness and Qi stagnation.
For nasal bleeding, needle Heliao (SI18); for nasal congestion and loss of smell, seek Yingxiang (LI20).
To treat rising Qi obstruction, use Zusanli (ST36); Tiantu (CV22) and Wanzhong (CV15) treat asthma and phlegm.
For heart pain and hand tremors, needle Shaohai (HT3); Xiaozé (SI1) removes cold under the heart.
For spasms in both legs, seek Yingshi (ST32); Weizhong (BL40) soothes five types of back pain.
If Shushu (BL20) is ineffective, reduce Qiuxu (GB37); Fuliú (KI7) treats edema like a divine physician.
Dubi (ST35) treats wind-pathogen and phlegm; Kunlun (BL60) stops asthma and leg pain.
For heel pain, seek Pucan (BL61); Chengshan (BL57) treats muscle cramps and chronic hemorrhoids.
Below the sole, find Yongquan (KI1); this method is worth a thousand gold, do not transmit recklessly.
This point treats many women's diseases; male gu-poison and female pregnancy ailments are both cured.
Baihui (DU20) and Jiūwěi (CV15) treat dysentery; Dachangshu (BL25) and Xiaochangshu (BL27) regulate bowel movements.
Qihai (CV6) and Xuehai (SP10) treat five stranguries; Zhongwan (CV12) and Xiawan (CV10) treat abdominal hardness.
For shanghan after the meridian cycle, Qimen (LR14) should be used; for Qi stabbing both breasts, seek Taiyuan (LU9).
Dayuan (LR14) two points govern lateral hernia; Shuigou (DU26) and Jianshi (PC5) treat evil mania.
For hemoptysis and asthma, tonify Chize (LU5); Dicang (ST4) stops drooling.
Laogong (PC8) treats physical fatigue; Edema is calmed by moxa on Shuifen (CV9).
For inability to extend fingers, take Zhongzhu (TE3); Jiache (ST6) needles cure toothache.
Yinqiao and Yangqiao are at the ankles; for foot qi, first seek four points.
Yinlingquan (SP9) and Yanglingquan (GB34) also govern it, along with Yinqiao, Yangqiao, and Zusanli.
These points generally treat foot qi; the mystery in the waist must be located correctly.
Gaohuang (BL43) does more than treat hundred diseases; if moxa is applied precisely, the illness must heal.
Acupuncture at one point eliminates disease; scholars should be especially careful.

Liuzhu Tongxuan Zhiyao Fu (Ode to the Essential Points of Flowing Injection and Profound Mystery)

Observation, listening/smelling, inquiry, and palpation deduce the origin of disease; tonification, reduction,迎着 (welcoming), and following (succeeding) reveal the essentials of needling. I studied this from ancient times to now; though often pondering deeply, I failed to grasp the profound mysteries. During leisure from transmitting classics, receiving instructions from my father-in-law, discussing worldly turmoil and war. That person had no spiritual anchor and unsettled mind; illness could be treated, but essence would be lost and Qi would decline. With chaotic states and separated regions, medical supplies were cut off and merchants scarce. Even if prescriptions were effective, markets offered nothing. Better to use stone therapy to immediately resolve illness. Having accepted teaching, I sought teachers diligently. In seventeen years, hardly found one true master. Later, taking refuge in Caiyi, I finally received secrets from Master Li. This person saved lives with needle Dao, removing pain before eyes and curing tuberculosis under fingers. Truly as described: poised like a crossbow, striking like releasing a trigger, ten thousand successes, hundred hits. Adding a compassionate mind and no greed for profit. He once told me: Heavenly treasures are not given to the unrighteous; the Sage Way must be passed to the worthy. Presuming myself unworthy, I earnestly requested, receiving his generous sincerity. He taught forty-three secret points; among thousands of treatments, none failed. I engraved them in my heart and marrow, aiming to save the distressed and support the critical. Thereafter, removing pain was swift as picking with hands, breaking accumulations scattered like melting ice. Ah, how divine is this needle! But fearing these acupoints might be forgotten, using rhyme makes them easy to remember. Thus composed eight rhymes, one ode. Dare not hide privately, hoping to share with comrades. Written respectfully two days before Double Ninth in Renchen year.
To cure disease, nothing beats acupuncture, skillfully operating the divine mechanism, artisans opening deep sage principles. Externally using bian needles, it can dispel evil and support righteousness; internally containing Water and Fire, it excels at restoring Yang and reversing Yin. Originally, collaterals branch uniquely, meridians interweave, some like ditches, pools, streams, and valleys differing, others like mountains, seas, hills, and ridges sharing gaps. These schools are hard to measure, yet unified in guidelines. If principles are complex and obscure, even with tonification/reduction, what merit? If methods are swift and clear, welcoming and following are applied. For example, difficulty walking, Taichong (LR3) is most unique. Renzhong (DU26) removes spine stiffness and pain; Shenmen (HT7) clears mental dullness. Wind injuring neck stiffness, start seeking Fengfu (DU16); dizziness and blurred vision, look for Fengchi (GB20). Ear blockage requires Tinghui (GB20); eye pain pushes with Hegu (LI4). Chest knot and yellow complexion, take Yongquan (KI1); brain dizziness and red eyes, reduce Cuanzhu (BL2).
Seeing bitter spasms in both elbows, rely on Quchi (LI11) to sweep flat. Toothache, Luxi (Taixi KI3) can treat; head and neck stiffness, Chengjiang (CV24) protects. Taibai (SP3) guides to Qichong (ST30); Yinlingquan (SP9) opens Shuidao (ST28). Abdominal distension, seize Neiting (ST44) without delay; muscle cramps and pain, reduce Chengshan (BL57) early.
Generally, ankle pain, Kunlun (BL60) resolves; thigh and knee pain, Yingshi (ST32) heals. Epilepsy and mania, rely on Houxi (SI3) for treatment; malaria with chills and fever, rely on Jianshi (PC5) for support. Qimen (LR14) stops chest fullness and blood distension; Laogong (PC8) retreats stomach reversal and heart pain. Examining Dayuan (LR14) removes lateral pain of seven hernias, as Master Wang said; Zusanli (ST36) overcomes wasting-thirst emaciation, as Hua Tuo stated.
Knowing Wangu (SI4) dispels jaundice, Ran Gu (KI2) reduces Kidney. Xingjian (LR2) treats knee swelling and eye diseases; Chize (LU5) removes elbow pain and tight tendons. Blurred vision, Erjian (LI2) is suitable; nasal congestion, Yingxiang (LI20) guides. Jianjing (GB21) removes burden of thighs; Cuanzhu (BL2) treats unbearable headache. Cough with cold phlegm, Lieque (LU7) treats; eye discharge and cold tears, Linqi (GB15) is accurate. Huagu (GB30) removes leg pain remnants; Shenshu (BL23) drains lower back pain. Seeing Yuèrén treat corpse-jue at Weihuai (Renmai intersection), reviving instantly; Wenbo delivering dead fetus at Yinjiao (CV7), dying upon needling.
Sages observe numbness and pain, distinguishing excess and deficiency. Excess enters from outside; deficiency exits from inside. Therefore, nourishing Mother benefits insufficiency; draining Son balances surplus.
