雷真君曰∶老人与小儿最难治也。老人气血已衰，服饮食，则不生精而生病。小儿精气未满，食
饮食，则伤胃而伤脾，故老人小儿当另立一门。虽岐天师已立，有门有方，然终觉未全。今另留数
方，半治老人之生精，半治小儿之伤胃也。生精者，生其肾中精也。人生肾气有余，而后脾胃之气
行，脾胃气行，而后分精四布于各脏腑，俱得相输以传化，方名养老丸。用熟地八两，巴戟天四
两，山茱萸四两，北五味一两，薏仁三两，芡实四两，车前子一两，牛膝三两，山药四两，各为
末，蜜为丸。每日吞五钱。自能生精壮气。开胃健脾也，又何虑饮食之难化乎。小儿之方，单顾其
胃，天师已有神方传世，今再立一方，亦治肾以生土也。论小儿纯阳，不宜补肾，不知小儿过于饮
食，必至伤胃，久之，胃伤而脾亦伤，脾伤而肺金亦伤，肺金伤而肾水更伤矣。小儿至肾水
之伤，则痨瘵之症起，鸡胸犬肚之证见。苟治之不得法，而仍治以治胃之药，未能奏功，杂然攻利之药
并进，殇人夭年可悯，今立一方，治小儿肾脏之损，实有奇功，方名全幼丸。用熟地二两，麦冬一两，
山药三两，芡实三两，车前子一两，神曲五钱，白术一两，地栗粉三两，鳖甲三两，生何首乌三两，茯
苓二两，各为末，蜜为丸。每日白滚汤送下三钱，一料前症尽愈。二方实可佐天师之未逮也。
张真君曰∶妙绝之论，妙绝之方。
雷真君说：老人和小孩是最难治疗的。老人的气血已经衰退，服用饮食后，不仅不能化生精气，反而会产生疾病。小孩的精髓和气机尚未充盈，进食饮食，则会损伤胃气进而伤害脾脏，所以老人和小孩应当单独设立一个门类来讨论治疗。虽然岐天师（岐伯）已经设立了门类并给出了方剂，但终究觉得不够全面。现在另外留下几个方子，一半用于治疗老人生成精气，一半用于治疗小孩损伤的胃气。所谓“生精”，是指滋生肾脏中的精气。人的肾气充足有余之后，脾胃之气才能运行；脾胃之气运行之后，精气才能分头布散到各个脏腑，各脏腑之间相互输送传递转化，这个方子名叫养老丸。使用熟地黄八两，巴戟天四两，山茱萸四两，北五味子一两，薏苡仁三两，芡实四两，车前子一两，牛膝三两，山药四两，各自研成粉末，用蜂蜜制成丸药。每天吞服五钱。自然能够滋生精气、强壮元气。既然能开胃健脾，又何必担忧饮食难以消化呢？针对小孩的方子，专门顾护其胃气，岐天师已有神效方剂传世，现在再立一方，也是通过治疗肾脏来滋生脾土（肾为先天之本，脾为后天之本，补肾以助脾运）。论述小儿为纯阳之体，不宜补肾，这是不了解小儿如果饮食过量，必然导致伤胃，久而久之，胃受伤则脾也受伤，脾受伤则肺金也受伤，肺金受伤则肾水更加受伤。小儿发展到肾水受损的程度，那么痨瘵（肺结核等慢性消耗性疾病）的症状就会发生，鸡胸、犬肚（佝偻病体征）的证候就会出现。如果治疗不得法，仍然用治疗胃病的药物，不能奏效，再加上各种攻伐利下的药物一起使用，导致儿童夭折令人怜悯。现在确立一方，治疗小儿肾脏的损伤，确实有奇效，方名叫全幼丸。使用熟地黄二两，麦冬一两，山药三两，芡实三两，车前子一两，神曲五钱，白术一两，地栗粉（荸荠粉）三两，鳖甲三两，生何首乌三两，茯苓二两，各自研成粉末，用蜂蜜制成丸药。每天用白开水送服三钱，一料药服完，前面的病症全部痊愈。这两个方子实际上可以辅助岐天师未能顾及到的地方。
张真君说：真是妙绝的议论，妙绝的方子。
Lei Zhenjun (Thunder Deity) said: The elderly and infants are the most difficult to treat. In the elderly, Qi and Blood have declined; after consuming food and drink, instead of generating Essence, diseases arise. In infants, Jing (Essence) and Qi are not yet full; consuming food and drink damages the Stomach and subsequently the Spleen. Therefore, the elderly and infants should be treated under a separate category. Although Master Qi (Qibo) had already established a category with prescriptions, it still felt incomplete. Now, I leave several prescriptions: half to help the elderly generate Essence, and half to treat the infant's damaged Stomach. "Generating Essence" refers to nourishing the Essence within the Kidney. When a person's Kidney Qi is abundant and surplus, the Qi of the Spleen and Stomach can then circulate; once the Spleen and Stomach Qi circulates, Essence is distributed to all Zang-Fu organs, allowing them to transmit and transform each other. This prescription is named Yanglao Wan (Elderly Nourishing Pill). It uses Shudi Huang (Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata, 8 liang), Bajitian (Morindae Officinalis Radix, 4 liang), Shanzhuyu (Corni Fructus, 4 liang), Bei Wuwei Zi (Schisandrae Chinensis Fructus, 1 liang), Yiren (Coicis Semen, 3 liang), Qianshi (Euryales Semen, 4 liang), Cheqianzi (Plantaginis Semen, 1 liang), Niuxi (Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix, 3 liang), and Shanyao (Dioscoreae Rhizoma, 4 liang). Each is ground into powder and formed into pills with honey. Swallow five qian daily. It will naturally generate Essence and strengthen Yuan Qi (Primal Qi). With an open appetite and strengthened Spleen and Stomach, why worry about indigestion? The prescription for infants focuses solely on protecting the Stomach. Master Qi has already passed down divine prescriptions for this. Now, I establish another prescription, which also treats the Kidney to generate Earth (Spleen/Stomach). Regarding the theory that infants are of "Pure Yang" constitution and thus should not tonify the Kidney: this fails to recognize that excessive diet in infants inevitably damages the Stomach. Over time, Stomach damage leads to Spleen damage; Spleen damage leads to Lung Metal damage; Lung Metal damage further injures Kidney Water. When infant Kidney Water is severely damaged, symptoms of Laozai (consumptive disease/tuberculosis) appear, along with signs like chicken breast and dog belly (rickets deformities). If treatment is improper and one continues to use Stomach-treating medicines without success, and then adds various purgative and draining drugs together, it leads to premature death, which is pitiable. Now, I establish a prescription to treat Kidney deficiency in infants, which indeed has miraculous effects. The prescription is named Quanyou Wan (Complete Infant Care Pill). It uses Shudi Huang (2 liang), Maidong (Ophiopogonis Radix, 1 liang), Shanyao (3 liang), Qianshi (3 liang), Cheqianzi (1 liang), Shenqu (Medicated Leaven, 5 qian), Baizhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma, 1 liang), Dilifan (Dioscorea Hypoglauca Powder/Bamboo Rice Flour, 3 liang), Biejia (Trionycis Carapax et Plastrum, 3 liang), Sheng Heshouwu (Polygoni Multiflori Radix, 3 liang), and Fuling (Poria, 2 liang). Each is ground into powder and formed into pills with honey. Take three qian daily, washed down with plain boiled water. One course of treatment will completely cure the aforementioned symptoms. These two prescriptions truly supplement what Master Qi could not fully cover.
