In the year of Jia Zi, the central movement is Earth Transport Excessive (Tai Gong), with Earth Qi in surplus. Its name is "Dun Fu" (Mound-like). The Earth phase governs rain transformation, meaning the damp command prevails excessively during the year. The Qi injures the Kidney organ, causing disease, and eventually affects the Bladder. Scale-bearing creatures are deprived of nourishment, while insect populations thrive excessively; this represents the dominance of Spleen Qi.
The people suffer from abdominal pain, cold extremities (Qing Jue), dissatisfaction, heavy body weight, and inner vexation. This corresponds to the star Zhen Xing (Saturn). In severe cases, muscles atrophy, feet become flaccid and unable to support walking, calf cramps occur during movement, and pain radiates to the sole. Drinking water leads to edema, chest fullness, reduced appetite, and inability to lift the limbs. When these changes manifest at their proper time, the Zang Qi becomes latent, and the Hua Qi acts independently. Springs gush forth, rivers overflow, dried marshes breed fish, great winds and rains arrive, soil collapses, and scale-bearing creatures appear on land. Symptoms include abdominal distension, loose stools, borborygmus, severe diarrhea, and excessive damp transformation. This is the policy of Excessive Earth Transport. The transformation command in the year of Jia Wu is identical.
In the year of Yi Chou, the central movement is Metal Transport Deficient (Shao Shang), with disaster occurring in Palaces 9 and 7. Palace 7 corresponds to the West Dui trigram, associated with the Lung organ in humans, and the season of Autumn. This indicates deficient Metal Transport. Its name is "Cong Ge" (Yielding/Changing), where Fire phase dominates and overcomes Metal, leading to lush vegetation but excessive dryness and heat. People suffer from shoulder and back heaviness, nasal congestion, sneezing, epistaxis or bloody stools, and dysentery. The收敛 (Converging) Qi arrives late. If the dominant Qi is extreme, Metal transforms into Water, and Water comes to rescue its mother, a phenomenon called "Fu Sheng" (Revenge Transformation). This manifests as sudden cold rains, hail, snow, frost, and Yin-cold killing Qi. Yin-Jue occurs, blocking Yang Qi which rises upward, causing pain in the occiput extending to the chest and neck, fever, carbuncles, and failure of grains to mature. People suffer from mouth ulcers and, in severe cases, heart pain. The transformation number is 4, derived from the generating number. The correct transformation command in the year of Yi Wei is the same as this year.
In the year of Bing Yin, the central movement is Water Transport Excessive (Tai Yu), with Water Qi in surplus. Its name is "Liu Yan" (Overflowing). It punishes the Heavenly Command, preventing it from transforming. It suppresses the Heart organ, causing disease through the prevalence of Cold Qi that harms Heart Fire. People suffer from fever, irritability, palpitations, Yin-Jue, coldness throughout the upper, middle, and lower jiao, delirium, forgetfulness, and heart pain. Cold Qi arrives early. In severe cases, there is abdominal distension, leg swelling, wheezing, coughing, nocturnal sweating, aversion to wind, heavy rain, and misty haze. The Cold transformation number is 6, derived from the completing number. This is the policy of Excessiveness. The transformation command in the year of Bing Shen follows this pattern, becoming stronger because Shen belongs to Metal, which generates Water; thus, the surplus of Water transport meets the Shen year, intensifying the effect.
In the year of Ding Mao, the central movement is Wood Transport Balanced (Zheng Jiao), achieving a balanced Qi. Its name is "Fu He" (Spreading Harmony). This balanced state means Metal does not overcome Wood, nor does Wood cause disaster to Earth, so each transformation command occurs in its proper season. It is also called "Sui Hui" (Year Meeting), where Ding Wood transport meets Mao Wood, supporting each other. In the first month of Ding years (Ren Yin month), Ren and Ding combine, forming the "Gan De Fu" (Stem Virtue Symbol). Thus, Wind transformation is 3, derived from the generating number. It is the "Zheng Hua Ri" (Correct Transformation Day), meaning the command aligns with the season without interference from other commands. In Ding You year, the transport is the same, but lacks the annual strength because You is Metal. However, the first month is still Ren Yin, named Gan De Fu, but the victory symbol does not arrive, so it is not called Sui Hui, and Wind transformation remains 3. The transformation command in Ding You year is even more pronounced.
In the year of Wu Chen, the central movement is Fire Transport Excessive (Tai Zheng), with Fire Qi in surplus. Its name is "He Xi" (Blazing Heat). The Qi overcomes the Lung organ, causing disease, and eventually affects the Large Intestine. Jia insects suffer. Winters and autumns are hot, and summer is intensely hot. The transformation policy is only half effective. Why? Because the Upper Heaven (Si Tian) is Water, suppressing Fire by half. The Heat transformation number is 7, derived from the completing number. The Correct Transformation Degree has no other commands. The year of Wu Xu is the same.
In the year of Ji Si, the central movement is Earth Transport Deficient (Shao Gong), with disaster in Palace 5. Palace 5 is the Central Palace, corresponding to the Kun trigram, the Spleen organ in humans, and the season of Summer. The creature type is Luo Chong (Naked creatures). Deficient Earth is named "Bei Jian" (Lowly Monitor). The transformation commands of the four seasons are irregular, allowing Wood to overcome. Strong winds blow frequently. People suffer from stagnation, jaundice, and edema. Rain and dampness do not transform, and Luo Chong perish. The depth of defeat causes Metal to revenge. White dust rises, severe killing Qi arrives, and tree leaves fall. People suffer from Liver diseases, and Mao Chong (Hairy creatures) are distressed. After the revenge ceases, Spleen Qi remains deficient. By the month of Jia Xu in September, Ji obtains the power of Jia through stem combination, returning to the correct Palace. Rain transformation is 5. The policies of Si and Hai years are similar.
In the year of Geng Wu, the central movement is Metal Transport Excessive (Tai Shang), with Metal Qi in surplus. Its name is "Jian Cheng" (Firm Completion). The Qi overcomes and injures the Liver. White dust rises, killing Qi resembles clouds, generating Qi fails, and completion Qi exceeds. Hairy creatures are overly distressed, and plants bloom late. People suffer from flank qi obstruction, limb spasms, eye dimness, and mood swings. Although there is disaster, it is not severe, achieving only half effectiveness. Why? Because the Upper Heaven is Shaoyin Ministerial Fire, and Wu is also Fire, weakening Metal by half. Water disaster is also minimal. Dryness transformation is 9, derived from the completing number. The year of Geng Zi differs slightly; Zi is Water, harmonizing with Metal, so the disaster reaches the level of overcoming. Dryness transformation is 9, derived from the completing number.
In the year of Xin Wei, the central movement is Water Transport Deficient (Shao Yu), with disaster in Palace 1. Palace 1 is Kan position, corresponding to the Kidney organ in humans, the season of Winter, and Lin Chong (Scale creatures). Water Qi does not flow, named "He Liu" (Dried Stream). Earth comes to overcome, dampness prevails, and Long Qi (Growth Qi) acts inversely, accelerating transformation. Summer heat numbers arrive. People suffer from abdominal fullness, heavy body, moist diarrhea, cold sores with discharge, non-freezing water, waist and thigh pain, knee stiffness, vexation, foot flaccidity, coldness, and sole pain. Severe cases involve swelling and irregular Zang Qi, triggering revenge. Wood comes to save Water, causing great storms, bending grass, breaking trees, dull growth, changing complexion, tendon issues, internal twitching, visual disturbances, cracking objects, muscle rashes, and Qi blocking the diaphragm causing heart and abdominal pain. Yellow Qi is damaged, mulberry grains fail to develop. After revenge ceases, Water Qi stabilizes. In the month of Bing Shen in July, Water Transport returns to correct Yu, Cold transformation is 1, derived from the generating number. This is Xie Hua Ri (Deviant Transformation Day), indicating irregular timing. The command for Xin Chou year is the same.
In the year of Ren Shen, the central movement is described as Wood Transport Excessive (Tai Jiao - *Note: Textual inconsistency in source, Ren is typically Water, but text describes Wood*), with Wood Qi in surplus. Its name is "Fa Sheng" (Initiating Growth). Great winds break branches, Qi punishes the Spleen organ, eventually affecting the Stomach. Wind Qi prevails, injuring Spleen Earth. People suffer from diarrhea, reduced appetite, heavy body, vexation, borborygmus, and flank fullness. Transformation Qi acts independently, clouds move, and plants are restless. Severe cases involve falling leaves, flank pain, and vomiting. Wind transformation is 8, derived from the completing number. This is Xie Hua Du (Deviant Transformation Measure), indicating loss of correct timing. In Ren Yin year, the Qi is even stronger, also named Sui Hui, as Yin Wood and Ren Wood meet.
In the year of Gui You, the central movement is Fire Transport Deficient (Shao Zheng), with disaster in Palace 9. Palace 9 is the South Li position, corresponding to the Heart organ in humans and the season of Summer, indicating deficient Fire. Its name is "Fu Ming" (Hidden Brightness). The Heart naturally declines, summer commands are irregular, and Yu Chong (Feathered creatures) perish due to Water overcoming. Cold prevails, Long Qi is irregular, things condense, and Yang Qi fails to transform, damaging beauty. People suffer from chest pain, flank fullness, back and shoulder pain, arm pain, stomach depression, and heart pain. If the defeat is deep, Earth (child of Fire) revenges for the mother. Dust and heavy rain arrive, Black Qi becomes humid. People suffer from dizziness, loose stools, abdominal fullness, inability to eat, cold intestines, diarrhea, cramps, flaccidity, bi-syndrome, and inability to bear weight on legs. After revenge ceases, Fire Qi stabilizes. In the month of Wu Wu in May, Gui meets the stem combination, Fire returns to correct Zheng. Heat transformation is 2, derived from the generating number. This is Xie Hua Ri, deviating from correct timing. The year of Gui Mao is the same.
In the year of Jia Xu, the central movement is Earth Transport Excessive (Tai Gong), with Earth Qi in surplus. Its name is "Dun Fu". Earth governs rain commands, leading to humid heat, haze, and excessive cloud/rain timing, injuring the Kidney and eventually the Bladder. Transformation Qi is excessive, Zang Qi fails. People suffer from Qi-Jue, Yin flaccidity, cold calves, weakness, seminal emission, and distress of scale creatures. Excessive Qi brings wind, causing anger, stagnation, and jaundice. Overcoming the Heavenly Command makes it disobedient. Rain transformation is 5, also called Xie Hua, indicating lost timing. The year of Jia Chen opposes this command.
In the year of Yi Hai, the central movement is Metal Transport Balanced (Zheng Shang), achieving balanced Qi. Its name is "Shen Ping" (Cautious Peace). Balanced Qi means obtaining Geng Chen month in March, seeing the Stem Virtue Symbol early. Yi (soft) meets Geng (hard), returning Qi to correct position. Fire does not gain dominance, so it does not overcome before balancing. Since Fire does not overcome, Water does not revenge. Hai is Water, gaining annual strength, so Fire cannot overcome. Transformation is 4, derived from the generating number. Zheng Hua Ri has no other commands, aligning with the original transformation. In Yi Si year, Fire slightly overcomes; Si is Fire, assisting the overcoming. In the second mid-season, Ministerial Fire transformation day, Fire overcomes Metal. Metal transport (Shao Shang) moves towards Da Zheng. The overcoming is short-lived, not waiting for Water revenge. In March Geng Chen month, Yi meets Geng, Qi self-completes, Metal returns to correct Shang, Qi balances.
In the year of Bing Zi, the central movement is Water Transport Excessive (Tai Yu), with Water Qi in surplus. Its name is "Liu Yan", abundance of Water. It overcomes the Si Tian, making the command disobedient. Bing is the hard stem of Water transport, also Water. Taiyang Si Tian is excessive, Water Qi approaches Fire, Long Qi does not follow, Zang Qi overcomes. Heart suffers disease, eventually Small Intestine. Yu Chong suffer, Lin Chong thrive. Cold transformation is 6, derived from the completing number. This is also Xie Hua Ri, losing correct summer timing. Bing Wu year is slightly different. Wu is Fire, gaining annual strength. Although Bing is hard Water transport, Water overcomes. Fire resides in South Wu position, aided by Li positive Qi, so summer transforms correctly, Heart is healthy, Yu Chong have no disaster, Heat transformation is correct, Zheng Hua Ri has no other evils.
In the year of Ding Chou, the central movement is Wood Transport Balanced (Zheng Jiao), Wood virtue balanced. Its name is "Fu He". Why? It does not wait for Metal to overcome but first obtains the Stem combination. Starting from the first Qi, meeting Ren Yin month in January. Ding is soft Wood transport, Chou is Yin year. Ren is hard Wood transport, combining virtue with Ding. Ding meeting Ren returns Qi to completeness. Metal does not overcome, Fire does not revenge. Wood virtue is correct Jiao, generating Qi timing, Wood does not injure Earth, people are healthy. Luo, Mao, and Jia creatures all thrive. Wind transformation is 3, derived from the generating number, Zheng Hua Ri. Aligning with current politics, timing is not lost. Ding Wei year's Qi transformation matches Heaven, following Ding Chou policy.
In the year of Wu Yin, the central movement is Fire Transport Excessive (Tai Zheng), Fire Qi excessive. Its name is "He Xi". Qi transport precedes heaven (Xian Tian), meaning excess comes too early. Transport and Heaven combine virtue, named "Tian Fu" (Heaven Symbol). Upper Shaoyang Ministerial Fire Si Tian means transport and Heaven are both Fire, Qi is very prosperous, summer heat prevails, Metal/Lung suffer evil. People suffer from malaria, shortness of breath, cough, asthma, blood溢, diarrhea, throat dryness, deafness, internal heat, shoulder/back heat. Severe cases: chest pain, flank fullness, chest/back/scapula pain, arm pain, body heat, bone pain, and spreading sores. Shou Qi (Harvest Qi) does not act, Chang Qi (Growth Qi) shines alone. Indicating Fire victory, Heat transformation is 7, derived from the completing number. Xie Hua Ri, policy loses time. Wu Shen year is slightly different; Shen is Metal, assisting Lung, Lung suffers Fire punishment, Qi is slightly solid, people suffer half symptoms, hence slightly different. Other commands are the same.
In the year of Ji Mao, the central movement is Earth Transport Deficient (Shao Gong), Earth Qi deficient, disaster in Palace 5. Palace 5 is Central, corresponding to Spleen, Qi divides into four seasons, creature is Luo Chong. Earth name is "Bei Jian". Wood comes to punish, Wood Wind overcomes Earth, Wind blows greatly, Transformation Qi fails, plants grow luxuriantly but are hollow. People suffer from undigested food diarrhea, cholera, heavy body, abdominal pain, tendon spasms, muscle soreness. When defeat is severe, Metal comes to revenge. Revenge arrival means strict Harvest Policy, plants wither, sudden chest/abdominal pain, pulling to lower abdomen, frequent sighing, insects eating sweet/yellow substances, Yellow Qi lodges in Spleen, grain decreases, poor appetite. After revenge ceases, Earth Qi is not yet correct. Until Jia Xu month in September, Earth returns to correct Palace, Rain transformation is 5. Xie Hua Ri, losing correct timing. Ji You year differs; You is Metal, fearing defeat, so Wood overcoming is mild.
In the year of Geng Chen, the central movement is Metal Transport Excessive (Tai Shang), Metal Qi in surplus. Its name is "Jian Cheng". Metal Qi surplus means Generating Qi withers, Harvest Qi kills. White dust rises, plants wither, forests die, dryness makes fields white. People suffer from Liver diseases, Hairy creatures are distressed, flank qi obstruction, difficult urination, eye dimness, tendon convulsions. Dryness transformation is 9, derived from the completing number. Xie Hua Ri, Spring policy loses governance. Geng Xu transport follows this.
In the year of Xin Si, the central movement is Water Transport Deficient (Shao Yu), Water Qi deficient, disaster in Palace 1. Palace 1 is North Kan position, corresponding to Kidney, creature is Lin Chong, decline of Water. Name is "He Liu" (Dried Stream), meaning dryness. Earth phase overcomes Water. Earth rain command is named Rain Transformation, acting as overcoming. Arrival at the fourth Qi brings heavy continuous rain, Kidney disease becomes critical, eventually Bladder, Lin Chong deteriorate, Water is endangered and severe. Wood comes to revenge and overcome. Great winds blow often, raising dust, breaking trees, flying sand and stones. Thus Earth Qi is depleted, Spleen suffers, Luo Chong suffer evil. After Wood revenge ceases, Earth is not yet complete. In Bing Shen month in July, Xin combines with Bing, Water returns to correct Yu, Water Qi is whole, Cold transforms to 1. Xie Hua Ri, losing policy. Xin Hai year is slightly different. Why? Hai is Water, although Yin year, Hai Water assists Xin Water transport. Year Meeting, Water achieves balanced Qi, Earth does not overcome, Wood does not revenge, thus obtaining correct Yu, Zheng Hua Ri, Cold transformation 1, derived from generating number.
In the year of Ren Wu, the central movement is Wood Transport Excessive (Tai Jiao), Wood Qi in surplus. Its name is "Fa Sheng". Ren Wood transport is the hard stem. Wu is Yang year, Yang year excessive, so Tai Qi is prosperous. Generating Qi command is excessive, transport precedes heaven. Wind transformation is vigorous, Transformation Qi fails, rain/dampness decreases. Spleen suffers disease, eventually Stomach. Luo Chong do not thrive. Wind transformation is 8, derived from the completing number. Xie Hua Qi, losing timing. Ren Zi year is the same.
In the year of Gui Wei, the central movement is Fire Transport Balanced (Zheng Zheng), Fire achieves balanced Qi. Its name is "Sheng Ming". Why? Left and right Fires assist as inter-qi. Also, in Wu Wu month in May, the Stem Symbol is obtained early. Gui meets Wu, Qi is complete. Obtaining symbol power early, Water does not overcome, hence Balanced Qi, Water does not overcome, Earth does not revenge. Fire does not disaster Palace 9, hence named Zheng Zheng. Heat transformation aligns with season, Zheng Hua Ri, no other commands. Heat transformation is 2, derived from generating number. Gui Chou command follows previous.
In the year of Jia Shen, the central movement is Earth Transport Excessive (Tai Gong), Earth Qi in surplus. Its name is "Dun Fu". Earth rain command means transformation Qi is prosperous. Zang Qi is irregular, evil invades Kidney, eventually Bladder, Lin Chong suffer. Cold feels warm, rain/dampness prevails. People suffer from abdominal pain, Jue, dissatisfaction, heavy body, vexation. Severe cases: muscle atrophy, foot inability to hold, calf cramps, sole pain, drinking causes edema, chest fullness, reduced appetite, limb paralysis. Rain transformation is 5, Xie Hua Ri. Zang Qi is irregular. Jia Yin year differs. Why? Yin is Wood, Wood can punish Earth, balancing Qi. Thus Zang Qi is balanced, Lin Chong thrive, Kidney Qi is uniform, Zheng Hua Ri. Hence no other evils.
In the year of Yi You, the central movement is Metal Transport Balanced (Zheng Shang), Metal achieves balanced Qi. Name is "Shen Ping". Palace 7 has no disaster, Fire does not overcome, Water does not revenge, Jia Chong thrive, Lung Qi is peaceful. Why? Yi is soft Metal transport, You is Yin year, but You is West Metal position, Metal Qi assists, achieving balanced Qi. Long Qi does not punish, Generating/Killing Qi are correct. Transformation is 4, derived from generating number. Zheng Hua Ri, no other evils. Yi Mao year differs; Metal Transport Shao Shang, Metal Qi deficient. Name is "Cong Ge". Fire obtains Second Qi, Ministerial Fire comes to overcome, warmth arrives, Jia Chong suffer, Lung suffers. Deficiency is prolonged, Water does not revenge, Qi balances. Why? In March Geng Chen month, Yi combines with Geng, combining Stem Virtue, Metal Transport correct Shang, Qi balances, Killing Qi does not lose command. Transformation is 4, derived from generating number. Xie Hua Ri, has other evils.
In the year of Bing Xu, the central movement is Water Transport Excessive (Tai Yu), Water Qi in surplus. Its name is "Liu Yan". Water obtains Bing Xu hard stem. Xu sees Taiyang Water, same as Cold, Qi approaches Fire, Long Qi loses policy, heat/sunlight decreases, sudden cold occurs intermittently, Zang Qi becomes prosperous. Disaster is hail, command is cold/piercing, Yu Chong forget, Zang disease awakens and affects Small Intestine. People suffer from heart heat, irritability, palpitations, Yin Jue. Balanced Qi, name is "Fu He". Wood Qi delirium, heart pain, Cold Qi arrives early. Cold transformation 1... [Text fragment] ...Heavenly Command. Xie Hua Ri loses policy... [Text fragment].
In the year of Ding Hai, the central movement is Wood Transport Balanced (Zheng Jiao), Wood achieves balanced Qi. Name is "Fu He". Wood Qi does not disaster Palace 3. Why? Ding is soft Wood, Hai is Yin year, but in Ren Yin month in January, Ding combines with Ren, Stem Virtue matches, thus balanced Qi. Thus transport obtains stem combination, Wood Qi is complete, Metal does not overcome, Fire does not revenge. Wood does not injure Earth command. Making seasonal commands each obtain their transformation, hence named Zheng Hua Ri. Wind transformation is 3, derived from generating number. Zheng of Ding Si follows this command.
In the year of Wu Zi, the central movement is Fire Transport Excessive (Tai Zheng), Fire Qi in surplus. Its name is "He Xi". Combines virtue with Upper Shaoyin Ministerial Fire, named Tian Fu. Fire governs summer heat, intense heat prevails, summer is excessive. Variation is stifling heat, disaster is scorching heat. Thus Heart Qi is excessive, evil fire injures Lung, eventually Large Intestine. Jia Chong do not nourish, Killing Qi loses policy,肃杀 (Severe Killing) has no prestige. Summer heat completes number. Wu Wu year is named "Tai Zi Tian Fu" (Crown Prince Heaven Symbol), Three Meetings Combination. Wu Fire transport, Upper Shaoyin Ministerial Fire, Wu is South position, three Fire positions combine virtue, transformation becomes intense. Xie Hua Ri, Autumn loses correct timing.
In the year of Ji Chou, the central movement is Earth Transport Deficient (Shao Gong), Earth deficient, disaster in Palace 5. Palace 5 is Central, corresponds to Spleen, Trigram Kun, Main Qi Fourth Qi, creature Luo Chong. Earth deficient, name is "Zao Jian". Earth rain command, damp transformation decreases. Wood comes to punish, Wood wind command, Wind transformation overcomes. Arrival at First Qi is early. Wind Wood time, correct transformation. Spleen suffers disease, eventually Stomach. Luo Chong severely distressed, Fourth Qi decreases, Earth critical. Metal arrives, Dryness comes, Dryness revenges and overcomes Wood. Wood weakens, Liver suffers, then Gallbladder. Earth calms, Spleen recovers. Luo Chong relax. Earth in Jia Xu month in September, Ji combines with Jia for Stem Virtue, Earth returns to correct Palace, finally settles, named "Yu Feng Sheng Fu" (Rain/Wind Victory/Revenge) same. Xie Hua Du, Xie Hua means mutual punishment/overcoming names. Rain transformation is 5. Ji Wei command follows this correctness.
In the year of Geng Yin, the central movement is Metal Transport Balanced (Zheng Shang), Metal achieves balanced Qi. Name is "Shen Ping". Yin is Yang, Geng leads excessive, why say balanced? Upper Shaoyang Ministerial Fire Si Tian, Lower approaches to overcome Metal, thus Heaven Punishes Transport, Transport cannot be excessive, thus penalty appears as balance. Qi also injures Liver, small disaster. Hairy creatures slightly distressed, Spring dry. Transformation 9, derived from completing number. Xie Hua not intense. Geng Shen year, Metal achieves excessive, follows Tai Shang, Metal name "Jian Cheng", Shen Metal assists, thus Metal Qi injures Liver, eventually Gallbladder, Generating Qi command does not kill, Metal Qi excessive, Dryness transformation follows command.
In the year of Xin Mao, the central movement is Water Transport Deficient (Shao Yu), Water Qi deficient, disaster in Palace 1. Palace 1 is North Kan position, Water corresponds to Kidney. Water deficient, name "He Liu", dryness. Earth Qi comes to overcome, punishing Water. Upper applies rain command, named Rain Transformation, overcoming. Arrival at Fourth Qi, Earth gets seasonal transformation, thus overcomes. Sky hazy, clouds disturb, rain commands frequent, Kidney suffers disease. Fire is Bladder, Lin Chong severely distressed, Winter feels warm, flowing water does not freeze, Water danger. Wood comes to revenge and overcome.
