避瘟疫药干散，大麻仁，柏子仁，干姜，细辛各一两，附子半两，炮，捣，筛，正旦以
井华水，举家各服方寸匕。疫极，则日三服。日一服。
老君神明白散，术一两，附子三两，乌头四两，桔梗二两半，细辛一两，捣，筛，正旦
服一钱匕，一家合药，则一里无病，此带行所遇，病气皆消。若他人有得病者，便温酒服之
方寸匕，亦得。病已四五日，以水三升，煮散，服一升，覆取汗出也。
赤散方，牡丹五分，皂荚五分炙之，细辛、干姜、附子各三分，肉桂二分，真珠四分，
踯躅四分，捣，筛为散，初觉头强邑邑，便以少许纳鼻中，吸之取吐，温酒服方寸匕，覆眠
得汗，即瘥，晨夜行，及视病，亦宜少许以纳粉，粉身佳。牛马疫，以一匕着舌下，溺灌，
日三四度，甚妙也。
度瘴散，辟山瘴恶气。若有黑雾郁勃及西南温风，皆为疫疠之候方。
麻黄，椒各五分，乌头三分，细辛、术、防风、桔梗、桂、干姜各一分，捣，筛，平旦
酒服一盏匕，辟毒诸恶气，冒雾行，尤宜服之。
太乙流金方，雄黄三两，雌黄二两，矾石、鬼箭各一两半。羚羊角二两，捣为散，三角
绛囊，贮一两带心前并门户上。月旦青布裹一刀圭。中庭烧温，病患亦烧熏之，即瘥。

之。一丸如胡麻大，九日止，令无病。

赵泉黄膏方，大黄、附子、细辛、干姜、椒桂各一两，巴豆八十枚，去心皮，捣细，苦
酒渍之，宿腊月猪膏二斤。煎三上三下，绞去滓，蜜器贮之，初觉勃色便热，如梧子大一丸
，不瘥，又服亦可，火炙以摩身体数百遍，佳，并治贼风，走游皮肤，并良，可预合之，便
服即愈也。
单行方术，西南社中柏，东南枝取曝干，末，服方寸匕，立瘥。
又方，正月上寅日，捣女青屑。三角绛囊，贮系户上帐前，大吉。
又方，马蹄木捣屑二两，绛囊带之，男左，女右。
又方，正月朔旦及七月，吞麻子、小豆各二七枚，又各二七枚，投井中，又以附子二枚

又方，冬至日，取雄赤鸡作腊，至立春煮食尽，勿分他人，二月一日，取东行桑根，大
如指悬门户上，又人人带之。

又方，以绳度所住户中壁，屈绳结之。
又方，密以艾灸病患床四角，各一壮不得令知之，佳也。
又方，取小豆，新布囊贮之，置井中三日出，举家男服十枚，女服二十枚。
又方，桃木中虫屎末，服方寸匕。
又方，鲍鱼头烧三指撮，小豆七枚，合末服之，女用豆二七枚。

附方
《外台秘要》辟瘟方
取上等朱砂一两，细研，白蜜和丸，如麻子大，常以太岁日平旦，一家大小，勿食诸物
，面向东立，各吞三七丸，永无疾疫。
【避瘟疫药干散】取大麻仁、柏子仁、干姜、细辛各一两，附子半两（经炮制），捣碎后过筛。在正月初一早晨，用刚打上来的井水，全家每人服用一方寸匕的剂量。若疫情严重，则每日服用三次；一般情况每日服用一次。
【老君神明白散】取白术一两，附子三两，乌头四两，桔梗二两半，细辛一两，捣碎后过筛。在正月初一服用一钱匕的剂量。如果全家人都制备此药，那么整个里巷都不会染病。这是随身携带以防遭遇疫气的方法，能使遇到的病气消散。如果其他人已经患病，便用温酒送服一方寸匕，也可以。若发病已四五日，取三升水，煮散剂，服用一升，覆盖身体使其出汗，即可痊愈。
【赤散方】取牡丹五分，皂荚五分（炙烤），细辛、干姜、附子各三分，肉桂二分，真珠四分，踯躅四分，捣碎后过筛制成散剂。刚开始感觉头部僵硬、心情郁闷时，立即取少许药粉纳入鼻中吸入，以引发呕吐反应；或用温酒送服一方寸匕，覆盖身体睡眠以出汗，病即痊愈。晨起赶路或探视病人时，也宜取少许药粉拌入米粉中涂抹身体，效果更佳。对于牛马发生的疫病，取一匕药粉置于其舌下，灌尿治疗，每天三四次，非常有效。
【度瘴散】用于辟除山间瘴疠恶气。如果有黑雾弥漫以及来自西南方向的暖风，都是发生疫疠的征兆。取麻黄、花椒各五分，乌头三分，细辛、白术、防风、桔梗、桂枝、干姜各一分，捣碎后过筛。在清晨用酒送服一盏匕的剂量，可辟除各种毒气和恶气，冒雾行走时尤其适宜服用。
【太乙流金方】取雄黄三两，雌黄二两，矾石、鬼箭羽各一两半，羚羊角二两，捣碎制成散剂。装入三角形的深红色囊袋中，储存一两，佩戴在心前并悬挂于门户之上。每月初一，用青布包裹一刀圭的药量。在庭院中焚烧温热，让病患也吸入其烟气熏蒸，病即痊愈。
【辟天行疫疠方】取雄黄、丹砂、巴豆、矾石、附子、干姜，分量相等，捣碎后用蜂蜜制成丸药。在清晨面向太阳吞服。每丸如胡麻大小，连续服用九天，可保证不生病。
【常用辟温病散方】取真珠、肉桂各一分，贝母三分（熬制），鸡蛋清熬至黄黑色，取三分，捣碎过筛。在岁首（正月初一）服用一方寸匕。如果一年中多病，可在每月的初一和十五服用。有病的人服用能痊愈，健康人服用也有极大功效。
【虎头杀鬼方】取虎头骨五两，朱砂、雄黄、雌黄各一两半，鬼臼、皂荚、芜荑各一两，捣碎过筛，用蜡和蜜调和成弹丸大小。装入深红色囊袋系在手臂上，男子系左边，女子系右边。在家中房屋四角悬挂。在每月初一、十五的半夜，在庭院中焚烧一丸。另一种配方中有菖蒲、藜芦，没有虎头、鬼臼、皂荚，制成散剂随身携带。
【赵泉黄膏方】取大黄、附子、细辛、干姜、花椒、桂枝各一两，巴豆八十枚（去心皮），捣细，用醋浸泡，再加入腊月制作的猪脂二斤。煎煮时反复升降三次，绞去药渣，用蜜器储存。刚开始感觉面色发红发热时，服用如梧桐子大的一丸，若未痊愈，可以再服。用火加热后按摩身体数百遍，效果更好。此方兼治贼风邪气游走于皮肤之间，疗效良好。可以预先制备，一旦发病服用即可痊愈。
【单行方术】从西南方向社庙中的柏树，选取东南方向的枝条，晒干后研末，服用一方寸匕，病立愈。
【又方】正月初一的寅日，捣碎女青屑。装入三角形深红色囊袋，悬挂在户内帐前，大吉。
【又方】将马蹄木捣成屑二两，装入深红色囊袋随身携带，男子系左边，女子系右边。
【又方】正月初一早晨及七月，吞服麻子、小豆各十四枚，然后再各吞服十四枚。同时将麻子、小豆投入井中。另外取附子两枚、小豆七枚，让女子投入井中。
【又方】冬至日，取红色的公鸡制作腊肉，到立春时煮食干净，不要分给别人。二月一日，取向东生长的桑树根，粗细如手指，悬挂在门户上，每个人都要佩戴。
【又方】将喜鹊埋在厕所前面。
【断温病令不相染方】剪下自己的头发，保留七寸长，偷偷放在病人的卧席下面。
【又方】用绳子测量所居住房屋的墙壁长度，弯曲绳子打结。
【又方】用艾条灸烧病人床铺的四角，每角灸一壮，不要让病人知道，这样最好。
【又方】取小豆，用新布囊装好，放入井中三天后取出。全家男子服用十枚，女子服用二十枚。
【又方】桃木中的虫屎研末，服用一方寸匕。
【又方】将鲍鱼头烧焦，取三指撮的量，与小豆七枚一起研末服用，女性用小豆十四枚。
【又方】炒香豆豉混合泥土，用酒浸泡，经常携带服用。
【又方】将鲫鱼密裹后放在病人身下，不要让病人知道。
【又方】取柏子仁、细辛、粳米、干姜各三分，附子一分，研末，用酒送服一方寸匕，每日服用三次，连续服用十天。
【又方】使用麦麸、粳米、干姜，或者说是麻子仁，可以做成三种形式服用。
【附方】《外台秘要》辟瘟方
取上等朱砂一两，细细研磨，用白蜜调和制成丸药，如麻子大小。常在太岁日的清晨，全家大小，不吃任何食物，面向东方站立，每人吞服三七二十一丸，永远不会有疾病瘟疫。
[Drying Powder for Avoiding Plague] Take hemp seed (Cannabis Fructus), biota seed (Biota Semen), dried ginger (Zingiberis Rhizoma), and asarum (Asari Radix et Rhizoma) each in 1 liang, and prepared aconite root (Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata) in 0.5 liang. Pound the ingredients, sift them, and on the first day of the New Year morning, take one fangcun bi (a square-inch measure) with well water drawn at dawn for every member of the family. If the epidemic is severe, take it three times a day; otherwise, once a day.
[Laojun Shenming White Powder] Take white atractylodes rhizome (Atractylodis Rhizoma), aconite root (Aconiti Radix) in 3 liang, aconite lateral root (Aconiti Radix), kochia fruit (Kochiae Fructus) in 4 liang, platycodon root (Platycodi Radix) in 2.5 liang, and asarum (Asari Radix et Rhizoma) in 1 liang. Pound and sift. On the first day of the New Year, take one qianbi (a small measure). If the whole household prepares this medicine, the entire neighborhood will be free from disease. This is carried for protection against encountering pathogenic qi, causing the illness-causing factors to dissipate. If others have contracted the disease, administer one fangcun bi with warm wine. It is also effective. If the illness has persisted for four or five days, boil the powder in 3 sheng of water, take 1 sheng, cover the patient to induce sweating, and the disease will resolve.
[Red Powder Formula] Take peony bark (Moutan Cortex) in 5 fen, gleditsia sinensis pod (Gleditsiae Sinensis Fructus) in 5 fen (roasted), asarum (Asari Radix et Rhizoma), dried ginger (Zingiberis Rhizoma), and aconite root (Aconiti Radix) each in 3 fen, cinnamon twig (Cinnamomi Ramulus) in 2 fen, pearl (Margarita), and daphne genkwa flower (Daphnes Genkwa Flos) each in 4 fen. Pound and sift into a powder. At the first sign of head stiffness and depression, inhale a small amount of the powder into the nose to induce vomiting. Alternatively, take one fangcun bi with warm wine, cover the body to sleep and sweat, and the disease will heal. When traveling early in the morning or visiting patients, it is advisable to mix a small amount of the powder with rice flour and apply it to the body. For epidemics among cattle and horses, place one bi measure under the tongue and irrigate with urine, three to four times a day, which is very effective.
[Zhangji San for Crossing Miasma] To ward off mountain miasma and foul qi. The presence of black mist and warm winds from the southwest are omens of plague. Take ephedra stem (Ephedrae Herba) and zanthoxylum pericarpium (Zanthoxyli Pericarpium) each in 5 fen, aconite root (Aconiti Radix) in 3 fen, asarum (Asari Radix et Rhizoma), white atractylodes rhizome (Atractylodis Rhizoma), saposhnikovia root (Saposhnikoviae Radix), platycodon root (Platycodi Radix), cinnamon twig (Cinnamomi Ramulus), and dried ginger (Zingiberis Rhizoma) each in 1 fen. Pound and sift. Take one zhanyi bi with wine at dawn to ward off toxic and foul qi, especially suitable when walking through fog.
[Taiyi Liujin Formula] Take realgar (Realgar), orpiment (Orpiment) in 2 liang, alum (Alumen), and arrowthistle root (Sparganii Rhizoma) each in 1.5 liang, and antelope horn (Saigae Tataricae Cornu) in 2 liang. Pound into a powder. Store 1 liang in a triangular crimson pouch, carry it on the chest, and hang it on doors. On the first day of the month, wrap one daogui (a small measure) in green cloth. Burn it in the courtyard to generate warmth, and fumigate the patient with the smoke to cure the disease.
[Formula to Ward Off Seasonal Epidemics] Take equal parts of realgar (Realgar), cinnabar (Cinnabaris), croton seed (Crotonis Fructus), alum (Alumen), aconite root (Aconiti Radix), and dried ginger (Zingiberis Rhizoma). Pound and form pills with honey. Swallow one pill, sized like a sesame seed, facing the sun at dawn. Take for nine days to prevent illness.
[Commonly Used Powder to Ward Off Warm Disease] Take pearl (Margarita) and cinnamon twig (Cinnamomi Ramulus) each in 1 fen, fritillaria bulb (Fritillariae Bulbus) in 3 fen (roasted), and egg white (Ovi Albumen) roasted until yellow-black, taken in 3 fen portions. Pound and sift. Take one fangcun bi on the first day of the year. If many fall ill during the year, take it on the first and fifteenth of each month. It cures those who are sick and provides great preventive benefit to healthy individuals.
[Tiger Head Ghost-Killing Formula] Take tiger skull bone (Tigris Ossis Capitis) in 5 liang, cinnabar (Cinnabaris), realgar (Realgar), and orpiment (Orpiment) each in 1.5 liang, podophyllum rhizome (Podophylli Rhizoma et Radix), gleditsia sinensis pod (Gleditsiae Sinensis Fructus), and myrobalan (Terminalia Chebulae Fructus) each in 1 liang. Pound and sift, mix with wax and honey to form pills the size of a bullet. Store in a crimson pouch and tie to the arm (left for men, right for women). Hang in the four corners of the house. On the first and fifteenth nights of the month, burn one pill in the courtyard. Another formula includes calamus rhizome (Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma) and veratrum nigrum rhizome (Veratri Nigri Rhizoma), without tiger skull, podophyllum, or gleditsia, made into a powder for carrying.
[Zhao Quan Yellow Ointment Formula] Take rhubarb root (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma), aconite root (Aconiti Radix), asarum (Asari Radix et Rhizoma), dried ginger (Zingiberis Rhizoma), zanthoxylum pericarpium (Zanthoxyli Pericarpium), and cinnamon twig (Cinnamomi Ramulus) each in 1 liang, and croton seed (Crotonis Fructus) 80 seeds (dehulled and deseeded). Pound finely, soak in vinegar, and add 2 jin of lard rendered in the twelfth lunar month. Boil with three cycles of lifting and lowering, strain out the dregs, and store in a honey vessel. When feeling flushed and hot, take one pill the size of a wutong seed. If not cured, take another. Heat the ointment and rub it hundreds of times over the body for better effect. It also treats wind-pathogens wandering in the skin. Prepare in advance; taking it upon onset leads to recovery.
[Single Herb Method] Take branches growing towards the southeast from a cypress tree in the southwest community shrine, dry them in the sun, powder them, and take one fangcun bi for immediate cure.
[Another Formula] On the Yin day of the first lunar month, powder the rhizome of aquilegia (Aquilegiae Radix). Store in a triangular crimson pouch and hang before the bed curtain for great auspiciousness.
[Another Formula] Powder the wood of horse hoof tree (Hippocastani Semen/Lignum) 2 liang, store in a crimson pouch, and carry it (left for men, right for women).
[Another Formula] On the first day of the first lunar month and in July, swallow 14 hemp seeds and 14 adzuki beans, then swallow another 14 of each. Throw some into the well. Additionally, throw 2 pieces of aconite root and 7 adzuki beans into the well by a woman.
[Another Formula] On the Winter Solstice, make preserved meat from a red rooster. Cook and eat it all by the Start of Spring, do not share with others. On February 1st, take mulberry roots growing eastward, about finger-thick, hang them on doors, and everyone should wear them.
[Another Formula] Bury a magpie in front of the latrine.
[Method to Stop Warm Disease Transmission] Cut hair to 7 cun long, secretly place it under the patient's mattress.
[Another Formula] Measure the wall of the residence with a rope, bend the rope, and tie a knot.
[Another Formula] Moxibustion on the four corners of the patient's bed, one moxa cone per corner, without the patient knowing.
[Another Formula] Place adzuki beans in a new cloth bag and put them in a well for three days. Men take 10 beans, women take 20.
[Another Formula] Powder the frass (insect excrement) from peach wood, take one fangcun bi.
[Another Formula] Roast fish heads until burnt, take a pinch (three fingers' width), mix with 7 adzuki beans, powder, and take. Women use 14 beans.

[Another Formula] Use wheat bran, rice, dried ginger, or alternatively hemp seed, prepared in three ways for consumption.
[Attached Formula] *Waitai Miyao* Plague-Warding Formula
Take 1 liang of high-quality cinnabar (Cinnabaris), grind finely, mix with white honey to form pills the size of sesame seeds. On the Tai Sui day at dawn, the whole family stands facing east without eating anything else, and swallows 21 pills each to permanently avoid disease and plague.
