《千金》治雀盲方
地肤子（五两） 决明子（一升）
上为末，煮米饮和丸。每服二、三十丸。
世传方 治雀盲。
苍术（米泔浸，去皮，切片，焙，四两）
上为末。猪肝二两、批开，掺药在内，用麻丝扎定，以粟米一合，水一碗，砂
锅内煮熟，熏眼。候温，临卧，每服三钱，大效。
《圣惠方》治雀盲，不计时月，用苍术一两为末，每服一钱。
复明散 治小儿每至日暮即不见物，乃雀目也。

（各半两）
上件，捣罗为细末。每服一钱，水八分，入荆芥少许，煎五分，去滓，温服，食后。
初虞世曰，眼白多，多属虚山茱萸丸主之。
山茱萸（二两） 熟地黄 牡丹皮 牛膝 茯苓 泽泻（各一两） 鹿茸（半两）
上为末，炼蜜丸，如梧子大。食后，盐汤下二十丸。
〔薛〕一小儿白睛多，吐痰发搐。先用抑青丸四服而痰搐止，后用地黄丸年许而
黑睛多。一小儿白睛多，三岁不能行，语声不畅，两足非热则冷，大便不实。朝
用补中益气汤加五味子、干山药、以补脾肺，夕用地黄丸加五味子、牛膝、鹿茸、
补肝肾，不三月而瘥。一小儿眼白，腿软，两足热面似愁容。服地黄丸两月余渐
健，服年余，白睛渐黑，出痘无恙。
《千金方》治疗雀盲（夜盲症）的方剂：
地肤子（五两）、决明子（一升）。
将上述药材研成粉末，用米汤调和制成丸药。每次服用二三十丸。
民间流传的方子，治疗雀盲：
苍术（用米泔水浸泡，去皮，切片，焙干，四两）。
将上述药材研成粉末。取猪肝二两，剖开，将药粉掺入其中，用麻线扎紧，加入粟米一合、水一碗，在砂锅内煮熟后，先用药气熏蒸眼睛。待温度适宜后，临睡前每次服用三钱，效果显著。
《圣惠方》治疗雀盲，不分季节时间，使用苍术一两研成粉末，每次服用一钱。
复明散，治疗小儿每到傍晚就看不见东西，这就是雀目（夜盲症）。
苍术（用米泔水浸泡，刮去外皮，锉成碎片，焙干，二两）、谷精草（一两）、地肤子、决明子、黄芩（各半两）。
将上述药材捣碎并过筛成细末。每次服用一钱，加水八分，放入少许荆芥，煎煮至五分，滤去药渣，饭后温服。
初虞世说，眼白部分多者，多属于虚证，由山茱萸丸主治。
山茱萸（二两）、熟地黄、牡丹皮、牛膝、茯苓、泽泻（各一两）、鹿茸（半两）。
将上述药材研成粉末，用炼蜜制成丸药，大小如梧桐子。饭后，用盐开水送服二十丸。
〔薛己〕有一个小儿眼白多，伴有吐痰和抽搐症状。先用抑青丸服用四次，使痰症和抽搐停止，随后服用地黄丸约一年，使黑睛（角膜/瞳孔区域）变得正常。另一个小儿眼白多，三岁还不能行走，说话声音不畅，双腿非热则冷，大便不成形。早晨服用补中益气汤加五味子、干山药，以补益脾肺；晚上服用地黄丸加五味子、牛膝、鹿茸，以补益肝肾，不到三个月病愈。还有一个小儿眼白，腿软，双脚发热且面部似有愁容。服用地黄丸两个多月后逐渐健壮，服用一年多后，眼白逐渐变黑，出痘疹也无恙。
The *Qianjin Fang* (Prescriptions Worth a Thousand Gold) treats Nyctalopia (Night Blindness):
*Chenopodii Fructus* (Difuzi, 地肤子, five liang), *Cassiae Semen* (Juemingzi, 决明子, one sheng).
Grind the above into powder, mix with rice water to form pills. Take 20–30 pills per dose.
A folk prescription for Nyctalopia:
*Atractylodis Rhizoma* (Cangzhu, 苍术, four liang, soaked in rice wash water, peeled, sliced, and dried).
Grind the above into powder. Take two liang of pig liver, slice it open, insert the medicine inside, tie securely with hemp thread, and boil with one he of millet and one bowl of water in a clay pot. First, fumigate the eyes with the steam. When warm enough, take three qian before bedtime; this is highly effective.
The *Shenghui Fang* (Holy Healing Formulas) treats Nyctalopia, regardless of the season or time. Use one liang of *Atractylodis Rhizoma* ground into powder; take one qian per dose.
Fuming San (Restoring Vision Powder) treats children who cannot see objects at dusk, which is Nyctalopia.
*Atractylodis Rhizoma* (Cangzhu, 苍术, two liang, soaked in rice wash water, scraped clean, sliced, and dried), *Gastrodiae Rhizoma* (Gujingcao, 谷精草, one liang), *Chenopodii Fructus*, *Cassiae Semen*, *Scutellariae Radix* (Huangqin, 黄芩, half liang each).
Pulverize the above ingredients finely. Take one qian per dose, add eight parts water and a little *Schizonepetae Spica* (Jingjie, 荆芥), decoct until five parts remain, strain, and take warm after meals.
Chu Yushi stated that excessive whiteness of the eye sclera often indicates Deficiency, treated primarily by *Corni Fructus Pill*.
*Cornus Officinalis Fructus* (Shanzhuyu, 山茱萸, two liang), *Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata* (Shudihuang, 熟地黄), *Moutan Cortex* (Mudanpi, 牡丹皮), *Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix* (Niuxi, 牛膝), *Poria* (Fuling, 茯苓), *Alismatis Rhizoma* (Zexie, 泽泻, one liang each), *Cervi Cornu Degelatinatum* (Lurong, 鹿茸, half liang).
Grind into powder, make pills with refined honey, sized like wu zi (wattle seeds). Take twenty pills after meals with salted water.
[Xue Ji] A child with excessive scleral whiteness presented with phlegm and convulsions. Initially, four doses of *Yiqing Wan* (Suppressing Blue Pill) stopped the phlegm and convulsions. Subsequently, taking *Dihuang Wan* (Rehmannia Pill) for about a year resulted in normal dark pupil appearance. Another child with excessive scleral whiteness could not walk at age three, had unclear speech, cold or hot legs, and loose stools. In the morning, *Buzhong Yiqi Tang* (Tonify the Middle and Augment Qi Decoction) was added with *Schisandrae Fructus* (Wuweizi, 五味子) and dried *Dioscoreae Rhizoma* (Shanyao, 山药) to tonify Spleen and Lung. In the evening, *Dihuang Wan* was added with *Schisandrae Fructus*, *Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix*, and *Cervi Cornu Degelatinatum* to tonify Liver and Kidney. The condition resolved in less than three months. Another child with white sclera, weak legs, hot feet, and a sorrowful facial expression took *Dihuang Wan* for over two months, gradually becoming stronger. After more than a year of use, the scleral whiteness gradually turned black, and the child survived smallpox without incident.
