〔丹溪〕 乳房阳明所经；乳头厥阴所属。乳子之母，不知调养，怒忿所逆，郁闷所遏，
浓味所酿，以致厥阴之气不行，故窍不通而汁不得出，阳明之血沸腾，故热甚而化脓。亦
有所乳之子，膈有滞痰，口气 热，含乳而睡，热气所吹，遂生结核。于初起时，便须
忍痛揉令稍软，吮令汁透，自可消散。失此不治，必成痈疖。治法∶疏厥阴之滞以青皮，
清阳明之热细研石膏，行污浊之血以生甘草节，消肿导毒以栝蒌实，或加没药、青橘叶、
皂角针、金银花、当归头。或汤、或散加减，随意消息，然须以少酒佐之。若加以艾火两
三壮于肿处，其效尤捷。彼村工喜于自炫，便妄用针刀，引惹拙病，良可哀怜。若夫不得
于夫，不得于舅姑，忧怒郁遏，时日累积，脾气消沮，肝气横逆，遂成隐核如鳖棋子，不
痛不痒。十数年后，方为疮陷，名曰奶岩。以其疮形嵌凹似岩穴也，不可治矣。若于始生
之际，便能消释病根，使心清神安，然后施之治法，亦有可安之理。予族侄妇，年十八
岁时曾得此，察其形脉稍实，但性躁急，伉俪自谐，所难者后姑耳。遂以单方青皮汤，间
以加减四物汤行经络之剂，两月而安。此病多因浓味，湿热之痰停蓄膈间，与滞乳相搏
而成。又有滞乳，因儿口气吹嘘而成。又有拗怒气，激滞而生者， 石膏、烧桦皮、栝
蒌实、甘草节、青皮，皆神效药也。妇人此病，若早治之，便可立消。有月经时悉是轻
病，五六十后无月经时不可轻易看也。
〔薛〕 男子房劳恚怒，伤于肝肾，妇人胎产忧郁，损于肝脾。若 痛寒热，当发散表
邪。肿 痛甚，当清肝消毒，并宜隔蒜灸。不作脓或脓成不溃，托里散为主。不收敛或脓
清稀，补脾胃为主。若脓出反痛，或作寒热，气血虚也，十全大补汤。体倦口干，中气虚
也，补中益气汤。晡热内热，阴血虚也，八珍汤加五味子。欲呕作呕，胃气虚也，香砂
六君子汤。食少作呕，胃气虚寒也，前汤加藿香。食少泄泻，脾气虚寒也，前汤加炮黑
干姜。若劳碌肿痛，气血未复也，八珍汤倍用参、苓，归、术。若怒气肿痛。肝火伤血
也，八珍加柴胡、山栀。若肝火血虚而结核者，四物汤加参、术、柴胡、升麻。若肝脾
气血虚而结核者，四君子加芎、归、柴胡、升麻。郁结伤脾而结核者，归脾汤兼栝蒌散。若
郁怒伤肝脾而结核，不痒不痛者，名曰乳岩，最难治疗。苟能戒七情，远浓味，解郁结，养
气血，亦可保全。
内托升麻汤 治妇人两乳间，出黑头疮，顶陷下作黑眼，并乳痈初起者亦治。
升麻 葛根 连翘 当归身 黄柏（各一钱） 黄 （三钱） 牛蒡子 甘草（炙，各一钱） 肉
桂（五分）
上作一服。水一盅，酒半盅，煎至一盅，食后服。
又方 治妇人乳中结核。
升麻 连翘 甘草节 青皮（各二钱） 栝蒌仁（三钱）
上作一服。水二盅，煎至一盅，食后细细呷之。
〔乳痈〕
青皮 栝蒌 橘叶 连翘 桃仁（留尖） 皂角刺 甘草节 如破多加参 。
神效栝蒌散 治乳痈、乳岩神效。丹溪亦云妙捷。恐贫贱之家未能办集者，用后蒲
公英草，尤妙。
栝蒌（一枚，去皮焙为末，用子多者有力） 生甘草 当归（酒浸、焙，各半两） 乳香（另研） 没药
（另研，各二钱半）
上为末，用无灰酒三升，于银石器内，慢
火熬，取一升清汁，分作三服，食后良久服。如有奶岩，便服此药，可杜绝病根。如毒瓦斯
已成，能化脓为黄水；毒未成，即于大小便中通利。如疾甚，再合服，以退为度。立效
散与此方间服神妙。但于栝蒌散方减去当归，加紫色皂角刺一两六钱是也。
究原五物汤 痈疽、发背、乳痈通用。
栝蒌（研，一枚） 皂角刺（半烧，带生） 没药（各半两） 乳香 甘草（各二钱半）
上粗末。以醇酒三升，煎取二升。时时饮之，痛不可忍立止。
连翘饮子 治乳痈
连翘 川芎 栝蒌 皂角针 橘叶 青皮 甘草节 桃仁（各二钱）
上作一服。用水二盅，煎至一盅，食远服。已破者，加参 、当归；未破者，加柴
胡、升麻。
清肝解郁汤 治肝经血虚风热，或肝经郁火伤血，乳内结核，或为肿溃不愈，凡肝
胆经血气不和之症，皆宜用此药。
人参（去芦） 茯苓 贝母（去心） 山栀（炒） 熟地黄 芍药（各一钱，炒） 白术 当归（各一钱
五分） 柴胡 川芎 陈皮（各八分） 甘草（五分） 牡丹皮
上水煎服。
复元通气散 治妇人发乳、痈疽，及一切肿毒。
木香 茴香 青皮 穿山甲（酥炙） 陈皮 白芷 甘草 漏芦 贝母（去心，姜制，各等分）
上为细末。每服三钱，好酒调下。
消毒散 治吹乳、乳痈，并便毒。如憎寒壮热，或头痛者，宜先服人参败毒散一二
服，方可服此药。如无前证，即服此药二三剂。或肿不消，宜服托里药。
青皮（去白） 金银花 天花粉 柴胡 僵蚕（炒） 贝母 当归（酒拌） 白芷（各二钱）
用水二盅，煎至一盅，食远服。如便毒加煨大黄一钱，空心服。
〔本草〕 蒲公英草，味甘平无毒。主妇人乳痈肿，水煮汁饮之，及封之。立消。
〔丹〕 蒲公英，在处田间、路侧有之。三四月开黄花似菊。味甘，解毒散滞，意其
可入阳明、太阳经。洗净细研，以忍冬藤，浓煎汤，入少酒佐之。随手便欲睡，睡觉已失
之矣。
兵部手集方 治FS 乳硬欲结脓，服此即消。
用鹿角于粗石上磨，取白汁涂之，干又涂，不得近手。并以人吮却黄水，一日许即
散。或用鹿角锉为极细末，酒调二三钱服亦效。孕妇忌服。
乳痈初发方
贝母为末。每服二钱，温酒调下。即以两身覆按于桌上，垂乳良久自通。
时康祖为广德宰，事张王甚谨，后授温 , 左乳生痈，继又胸臆间结核，大如拳，坚
如石，荏苒半载，百疗莫效。已而牵制臂腋彻于肩，痛楚特甚。亟祷王祠下，梦闻语曰∶
若要安，但用姜自然汁，制香附服之。觉呼其子，检《本草》视之，二物治证相符，访
医者亦云有理。遂用香附去毛，姜汁浸一宿，为末。二钱，米饮调。方数服，疮脓流出，肿
硬渐消，自是获愈。 一妇人，禀实性躁，怀抱久郁，左乳内结一核，按之微痛，以连翘
饮子二十余剂少退；更以八珍加青皮、香附、桔梗、贝母，二十余剂而消。
张氏橘皮汤 治乳痈未结即散，已结即溃，极痛不可忍者神效。因小儿吹乳，变成
斯疾者，并皆治之。用陈皮（汤浸，去白晒干，面炒微黄，为细末） 麝香研。酒调二钱，初发觉
赤肿疼痛，一服见效。
〔丹〕 乳痈初发肿硬，一服瘥。用真桦皮（为末）， 酒服方寸匕，睡醒已失。（出《灵苑
方》
〔罗〕胜金丹 治妇人吹乳，极有神效。用百齿霜（即木梳上发垢）
上一味不拘多少，用无根水为丸，如梧桐子大。每服三丸，倒流水送下，食后。令
病左乳者，左卧；右乳者，右卧。于温处汗
出愈。（用新汲水倾于房上接之，乃倒流水也。）
《图经》治妇人奶疼痛，不可忍。用穿山甲（炙黄） 木通（各一两） 自然铜（半两，生用） 三
味捣细末。每服二钱，温酒调下无时。
简易独圣散 治妇人吹奶。
白丁香（半两，捣罗为末） 每服一钱匕，温酒调服无时。
〔云岐〕 治妇人吹乳，皂角散。歌曰∶
妇人吹乳意如何，皂角烧灰蛤粉和；暖酒一盏调一字，顷间揉散笑呵呵。
又方
乳香（研，一钱） 栝蒌根末（一两）
上研匀，温酒调服，一钱。产后乳膨，以大麦芽一两，炒研，煎汤饮之自消。
〔丹〕 杨孺人乳肿痛。
青皮 石膏（煨，研） 连翘 皂角刺（炒） 黄药子 当归头 木通（各一钱） 甘草（生三分）
作一帖。入好酒些少，同煎饮之。又有别药洗肿处。
义二孺人，平时乳内有结核不为痛，忽乳边又有一肿核，却颇有些痛。
黄芩 川芎 木通 陈皮（各四钱） 人参（二钱） 大腹皮（三钱） 炙甘草 生甘草 当归
头芍药（各一钱）
上妥二帖，煎服。
二孺人，但经将行而乳肿，先两日发口干而不渴，食少减，脉左弦带数，右却平，治
用四物汤加陈皮、白术、茯苓，带热下与点丸三十粒。 一后生作劳，风寒夜热，左乳
痛有核如掌，脉细涩而数，此阴滞于阳也。询之已得酒，遂以栝蒌子、石膏、干葛、台芎、
白芷、蜂房、生姜，同研入酒服之，四帖而安。 一妇人，内热胁胀，两乳不时作痛，口
内不时辛辣。若卧而起急，则脐下牵痛，此带脉为患。用小柴胡加青皮、黄连、山栀，二
剂而瘥。 一妇人，发热作渴，至夜尤甚，两乳忽肿，肝脉洪数，乃热入血室也。用加味
小柴胡汤，热止肿消。
云岐连翘汤 治产后妒乳并痈
连翘 升麻 芒硝（各一两） 玄参 芍药 白蔹防己 射干（各八钱） 大黄（二钱） 甘草
（六钱） 杏仁（四十枚，去皮尖）
上 咀。以水六升，煮二升，下大黄；次芒硝，分三服。
一儒者两乳患肿，服连翘饮，反坚硬食少，内热，胸胁作痛，日晡头痛，小便赤涩，
此足三阴虚而兼郁怒，前药复损脾肺。先用六君加芎、归、柴胡、山栀，四十余剂，元
气复而自溃。仍作痛，恶寒，此气血虚也，用十全大补汤、六味丸而愈。 封君袁阳泾，左
乳内结一核，月余赤肿，此足三阴虚，兼怒气所致。用八珍加柴、栀、丹皮，四剂赤肿
渐退，内核渐消；又用清肝解郁汤而愈。时当仲秋，两目连札，肝脉微弦，此肝经火盛
而风动也，更加龙胆草五分，并六味地黄丸而愈。若用清热、败毒、化痰、行气，鲜不
误者。 一儒者，两胁作胀，两乳作痛，服流气饮、栝蒌散半载后，左胁下结一个如核，
肉色不变，劳则寒热，此郁结气伤而为患，虚而未能溃也，八物加柴胡、远志、贝母、桔
梗月余，色赤作痛，脓将成矣。又服月余，针之出脓碗许，顿然作呕，此胃气虚而有痰也，
令时啖生姜，服六君子汤，呕止加肉桂而疮愈。彼后出宰，每伤劳怒，胸乳仍痛，并发
寒热，用补中益气加炒山栀愈。 一妇人久郁，右乳内肿硬，用八珍汤加远志、贝母、柴
胡、青皮，及隔蒜灸，兼服神效栝蒌散，两月余而消。 一妇人，左乳内肿如桃，不痛
不赤，发热渐瘦，用八珍加香附、远志、青皮、柴胡百余剂，又兼服神效栝蒌散三十余
剂，脓溃而愈。 一妇人，因怒左乳作痛，发热，表散太过，肿热益甚，用益气养荣汤数
剂，热止脓成。不从用针，肿胀热渴，针脓大泄，仍以前汤月作始愈。此证若脓未成未
破，有薄皮剥起者用代针之剂，其脓自出，不若及时用针，不致大溃。若脓血未尽，辄用
生肌，反助其邪，慎之！ 一妇人，脓清肿
硬，面黄食少，内热晡热，自汗盗汗，月经不行，此肝脾气血俱虚，用十全大补加远志、
贝母，及补中益气各三十余剂，外用葱熨患处，诸证寻愈。 一妇人，脓成胀痛，欲针
之不从。数日始针出败脓三四碗许，虚证蜂起，几至危殆，用大补两月余而安。若元气
虚弱不作脓者，用益气养荣汤补之，脓成即针。若肿痛寒热，怠惰食少，或至夜热甚，用
补中益气兼逍遥散补之，为善。 一妇年二十有五，素虚弱，多郁怒，时疫后脾胃愈虚，
饮食愈少，又值气忿，右乳胁下红肿，应内作痛，用炒麦麸熨之，肿虽稍散，内痛益甚，
转侧胸中，如物悬坠，遂与加减四物汤。内肿如鹅卵，外大如盘，胸胁背心相引而痛，夜
热势甚，时治者皆以攻毒为言。薛云∶此病后脾弱，而复怒伤肝，治法惟主于健脾气，平
肝火，则肿自消而病自愈矣。定方以八物加陈皮、黄芩、柴胡、山栀、白芷，服八剂病
减六七，去白芷，加青皮、木香、桔梗，又六剂而全愈。若用攻毒之剂，病胡能瘳。
葛稚川方 治妇人乳痈。
人牙齿（烧存性）
上为极细末，以酥调涂，贴痈上。
敷乳方
天南星 生半夏 皂角针（烧带性，各三分） 白芷 草乌 直僵蚕（焙，各一分）
上细末，多用葱白研取汁，入蜜调敷。若破疮口，作膏药贴。
〔乳岩〕
丹溪云，一妇人年六十，浓味郁气，而形实多妒，夏无汗而性急，忽左乳结一小核，
大如棋子，不痛。自觉神思不佳，不知食味绝半月，以人参汤调青皮、甘草末，入生姜
汁，细细呷，一日夜五六次，至五七日消矣。此乃奶岩之始，不早治，隐至五年、十年已
后发，不痛不痒，必于乳下溃一窍如岩穴，出脓，又或五七年、十年，虽饮食如故，洞见
五内乃死。惟不得于夫者有之，妇以夫为天，失于所天，乃能生此。谓之岩者，以其如穴
之嵌岈空洞，而外无所见，故名岩。患此者，必经久淹延，惟此妇治之早，正消患于未形，
余者皆死，凡十余人。又治一初嫁之妇，只以青皮、甘草与之安。 隆庆庚午，予自秋
闱归，则亡妹已病。盖自七月，乳肿痛不散，八月用火针取脓，医以十全大补汤与之，外
【朱丹溪】乳房是足阳明胃经所经过的部位；乳头是足厥阴肝经所属的部位。哺乳期的母亲，如果不懂得调养，因愤怒导致气机逆乱，因郁闷导致气机郁结，或因食用肥甘厚味酿生湿热，从而导致厥阴肝经之气运行不畅，所以乳窍不通而乳汁无法排出；同时阳明胃经的血分沸腾，所以发热严重并化脓。也有因为哺乳的婴儿，胸膈间有停滞的痰湿，口中热气较重，含着乳头睡觉，将热气吹入乳中，从而形成结核肿块。在初起阶段，就必须忍着疼痛揉捏使其稍微变软，吮吸使乳汁通畅，自然可以消散。如果错过这个时机不治疗，必定会发展成痈疖。治疗方法：用青皮疏解厥阴肝经的气滞，细研石膏清泻阳明胃经的热邪，用生甘草节行除污浊之血，用栝蒌实消肿排毒，或者加入没药、青橘叶、皂角针、金银花、当归头。可以做成汤剂或散剂加减使用，根据病情灵活调整，但必须用少量酒作为引子辅助药力。如果在肿胀处艾灸两三壮，效果尤其迅速。那些乡村庸医喜欢自我炫耀，便妄用针刀切割，反而引发更严重的疾病，实在令人哀怜。至于那些对丈夫不满、对公婆不顺，忧愁愤怒郁结，日积月累，导致脾气消沉衰竭，肝气横逆，最终形成像鳖棋子一样隐蔽的硬核，不痛不痒。十数年后，才变成疮口凹陷，名叫“奶岩”（乳岩）。因为疮形嵌凹像岩石洞穴一样，已经不可治愈了。如果在刚产生之际，就能消除病根，使心境清明、神志安宁，然后再施以治疗方法，也还有痊愈的道理。我的族侄媳妇，十八岁时曾患此病，观察她的形体和脉象稍显充实，只是性格急躁，夫妻和睦，难处在于婆婆。于是用单方青皮汤，间杂使用加减四物汤等疏通经络的药剂，两个月后痊愈。这种病多因肥甘厚味，导致湿热之痰停蓄在胸膈之间，与停滞的乳汁相互搏结而成。又有因乳汁停滞，被婴儿口气吹嘘而成的。又有因暴怒之气，激发停滞乳汁而生的。石膏、烧桦树皮、栝蒌实、甘草节、青皮，都是神效的药物。妇女患此病，如果早期治疗，就可以立即消除。月经期间患病多是轻症，五六十岁绝经后患病则不可轻易看待。
【薛己】男子因房劳过度且恼怒，损伤肝肾；妇人因胎产忧郁，损害肝脾。如果出现疼痛伴寒热，应当发散表邪。如果肿胀疼痛严重，应当清肝解毒，并且适宜隔蒜灸。如果不化脓或脓成但不溃破，以托里散为主治方。如果不收敛或脓液清稀，以补益脾胃为主治原则。如果脓出后反而疼痛，或出现寒热症状，是气血虚弱，用十全大补汤。身体疲倦口干，是中气虚弱，用补中益气汤。下午发热及内热，是阴血虚弱，用八珍汤加五味子。想呕吐或已呕吐，是胃气虚弱，用香砂六君子汤。食少且呕吐，是胃气虚寒，在前一方基础上加藿香。食少且泄泻，是脾气虚寒，在前一方基础上加炮黑干姜。如果因劳累导致肿痛，是气血尚未恢复，用八珍汤加倍人参、茯苓、当归、白术。如果因怒气导致肿痛，是肝火伤血，用八珍汤加柴胡、山栀。如果是肝火兼血虚形成的结核，用四物汤加人参、白术、柴胡、升麻。如果是肝脾气血虚形成的结核，用四君子汤加川芎、当归、柴胡、升麻。如果是郁结伤脾形成的结核，用归脾汤兼服栝蒌散。如果是郁怒伤肝脾形成的结核，且不痒不痛，名叫乳岩，最难治疗。如果能戒除七情过激，远离肥甘厚味，解开郁结，保养气血，也可以保全生命。
内托升麻汤 治疗妇人两乳之间长出黑头疮，疮顶凹陷呈黑眼状，以及乳痈初起者亦有效。
升麻、葛根、连翘、当归身、黄柏（各一钱）、黄芪（三钱）、牛蒡子、甘草（炙，各一钱）、肉桂（五分）
以上为一服量。用水一盅，酒半盅，煎至一盅，饭后服用。
又一方 治疗妇人乳中结核。
升麻、连翘、甘草节、青皮（各二钱）、栝蒌仁（三钱）
以上为一服量。用水二盅，煎至一盅，饭后细细啜饮。
【乳痈】
青皮、栝蒌、橘叶、连翘、桃仁（保留尖端）、皂角刺、甘草节。如果已经破溃，多加人参。
神效栝蒌散 治疗乳痈、乳岩有神效。丹溪也说妙捷。恐怕贫贱之家难以备齐药材，可用后方蒲公英草，尤其奇妙。
栝蒌（一枚，去皮焙干研为末，选用籽多的效力强）、生甘草、当归（酒浸、焙干，各半两）、乳香（另研）、没药（另研，各二钱半）
以上研为末，用无灰酒三升，在银石器内，慢火熬煮，取一升清汁，分作三次服用，饭后良久再服。如果有奶岩，就服用此药，可以杜绝病根。如果毒瓦斯已成，能将脓化为黄水；毒未成，即通过大小便通利排出。如果病情严重，再次合服，以退去病势为度。立效散与此方交替服用甚为神妙。只是在栝蒌散方中减去当归，加紫色皂角刺一两六钱即可。
究原五物汤 痈疽、发背、乳痈通用。
栝蒌（研，一枚）、皂角刺（半烧，带生性）、没药（各半两）、乳香、甘草（各二钱半）
以上为粗末。用醇酒三升，煎取二升。时时饮用，疼痛不可忍受时立即停止。
连翘饮子 治疗乳痈
连翘、川芎、栝蒌、皂角针、橘叶、青皮、甘草节、桃仁（各二钱）
以上为一服量。用水二盅，煎至一盅，饭远时服用。已经破溃的，加人参、当归；未破溃的，加柴胡、升麻。
清肝解郁汤 治疗肝经血虚风热，或肝经郁火伤血，乳内结核，或肿溃不愈，凡是肝胆经血气不和的症状，都适宜用此药。
人参（去芦）、茯苓、贝母（去心）、山栀（炒）、熟地黄、芍药（各一钱，炒）、白术、当归（各一钱五分）、柴胡、川芎、陈皮（各八分）、甘草（五分）、牡丹皮
以上用水煎服。
复元通气散 治疗妇人发乳、痈疽，及一切肿毒。
木香、茴香、青皮、穿山甲（酥炙）、陈皮、白芷、甘草、漏芦、贝母（去心，姜制，各等分）
以上为细末。每次服用三钱，用好酒调下。
消毒散 治疗吹乳、乳痈，以及便毒。如果有憎寒壮热，或头痛者，宜先服人参败毒散一二服，然后方可服此药。如果没有前述症状，即服此药二三剂。如果肿胀不消，宜服托里药。
青皮（去白）、金银花、天花粉、柴胡、僵蚕（炒）、贝母、当归（酒拌）、白芷（各二钱）
用水二盅，煎至一盅，饭远时服用。如果是便毒，加煨大黄一钱，空腹服用。
【本草】蒲公英草，味甘平，无毒。主治妇人乳痈肿，水煮汁饮用，并外敷。立即消除。
【丹溪】蒲公英，在田间、路侧到处都有。三四月开黄花，像菊花一样。味甘，能解毒散滞，推测它可以入阳明、太阳经。洗净细研，用忍冬藤浓煎汤，加入少量酒辅助。服后随即想睡，醒来后病就好了。
兵部手集方 治疗妇人乳房硬结欲成脓，服用此药即消散。
用鹿角在粗石上磨，取白色汁液涂抹，干了再涂，不要让手接触。并用嘴吮吸排出黄水，一天左右即消散。或者将鹿角锉成极细末，用酒调服二三钱也有效。孕妇忌服。
乳痈初发方
贝母研为末。每次服用二钱，温酒调下。然后将身体两侧覆按在桌上，垂放乳房良久，自然通畅。
时康祖担任广德县令，侍奉张王非常恭敬，后来升任温...，左乳生痈，随后胸臆间又出现结核，大如拳头，坚硬如石，拖延半年，各种治疗无效。后来牵制手臂腋部直至肩部，疼痛特别剧烈。急忙到王祠祈祷，梦中听到声音说：“若要平安，只用姜自然汁，配合香附服用。”醒来叫儿子，检查《本草》，发现这两种药物与治疗症状相符，访求医生也说有理。于是用香附去毛，用姜汁浸泡一夜，研为末。每次二钱，米饮调服。方服几剂后，疮脓流出，肿硬逐渐消退，从此痊愈。有一位妇人，体质实盛性格急躁，怀抱久郁，左乳内结一核，按压微痛，用连翘饮子二十余剂稍退；再用八珍汤加青皮、香附、桔梗、贝母，二十余剂后消散。
张氏橘皮汤 治疗乳痈未结即散，已结即溃，极痛不可忍者有神效。因小儿吹乳，变成此疾的，一并治疗。用陈皮（汤浸，去白晒干，面炒微黄，为细末）、麝香（研）。用酒调服二钱，初发觉赤肿疼痛，一服见效。
【丹溪】乳痈初发肿硬，一服即愈。用真桦皮（为末），酒服方寸匕，睡醒后病就好了。（出自《灵苑方》）
【罗谦甫】胜金丹 治疗妇人吹乳，极有神效。用百齿霜（即木梳上的发垢）
以上一味药不拘多少，用无根水制成丸，如梧桐子大。每次服用三丸，倒流水送下，饭后服用。让患左乳病的病人左侧卧，患右乳病的右侧卧。在温暖处出汗即愈。（用新汲水倾倒在屋顶接住，就是倒流水。）
《图经》治疗妇人奶疼痛，不可忍受。用穿山甲（炙黄）、木通（各一两）、自然铜（半两，生用）三味捣细末。每次服用二钱，温酒调下，不限时间。
简易独圣散 治疗妇人吹奶。
白丁香（半两，捣罗为末）每次服用一钱匕，温酒调服，不限时间。
【云岐】治疗妇人吹乳，皂角散。歌诀说：
妇人吹乳意如何，皂角烧灰蛤粉和；暖酒一盏调一字，顷间揉散笑呵呵。
又一方
乳香（研，一钱）、栝蒌根末（一两）
以上研匀，温酒调服，一钱。产后乳膨，用大麦芽一两，炒研，煎汤饮之自消。
【丹溪】杨孺人乳肿痛。
青皮、石膏（煨，研）、连翘、皂角刺（炒）、黄药子、当归头、木通（各一钱）、甘草（生三分）
作一帖。加入好酒少许，同煎饮之。另有别药洗敷肿胀处。
义二孺人，平时乳内有结核不为痛，忽然乳边又有一肿核，却颇有些痛。
黄芩、川芎、木通、陈皮（各四钱）、人参（二钱）、大腹皮（三钱）、炙甘草、生甘草、当归头、芍药（各一钱）
以上妥贴两帖，煎服。
二孺人，只是月经将要来时乳房肿胀，前两日发作口干而不渴，食量减少，脉象左手弦带数，右手却平和，治疗用四物汤加陈皮、白术、茯苓，趁热送服点丸三十粒。一位年轻书生劳作后，风寒夜热，左乳痛有核如手掌大，脉细涩而数，这是阴滞于阳。询问得知已饮酒，遂用栝蒌子、石膏、干葛、台芎、白芷、蜂房、生姜，同研入酒服之，四帖而安。一位妇人，内热胁胀，两乳不时作痛，口内不时辛辣。若卧而起急，则脐下牵痛，这是带脉为患。用小柴胡汤加青皮、黄连、山栀，二剂而愈。一位妇人，发热作渴，至夜尤甚，两乳忽肿，肝脉洪数，这是热入血室。用加味小柴胡汤，热止肿消。
云岐连翘汤 治疗产后妒乳并痈
连翘、升麻、芒硝（各一两）、玄参、芍药、白蔹、防己、射干（各八钱）、大黄（二钱）、甘草（六钱）、杏仁（四十枚，去皮尖）
以上切碎。用水六升，煮取二升，下大黄；次下芒硝，分三次服用。
一位儒生两乳患肿，服用连翘饮，反而坚硬食少，内热，胸胁作痛，下午头痛，小便赤涩，这是足三阴虚而兼郁怒，前药反而损伤脾肺。先用六君子汤加川芎、当归、柴胡、山栀，四十余剂，元气恢复而自行溃破。仍然疼痛，恶寒，这是气血虚，用十全大补汤、六味丸而愈。封君袁阳泾，左乳内结一核，月余赤肿，这是足三阴虚，兼怒气所致。用八珍汤加柴胡、山栀、丹皮，四剂赤肿渐退，内核渐消；又用清肝解郁汤而愈。当时正值仲秋，两目连眨，肝脉微弦，这是肝经火盛而风动，再加龙胆草五分，并六味地黄丸而愈。如果用清热、败毒、化痰、行气的药，很少不误事的。一位儒生，两胁作胀，两乳作痛，服用流气饮、栝蒌散半年后，左胁下结一个如核，肉色不变，劳累则寒热，这是郁结气伤而为患，虚而未能溃，用八物汤加柴胡、远志、贝母、桔梗月余，色赤作痛，脓将成矣。又服月余，针刺出脓碗许，顿时作呕，这是胃气虚而有痰，令其时常吃生姜，服六君子汤，呕止加肉桂而疮愈。他后来出任知县，每因劳怒，胸乳仍痛，并发寒热，用补中益气汤加炒山栀愈。一位妇人久郁，右乳内肿硬，用八珍汤加远志、贝母、柴胡、青皮，及隔蒜灸，兼服神效栝蒌散，两月余而消。一位妇人，左乳内肿如桃，不痛不赤，发热渐瘦，用八珍汤加香附、远志、青皮、柴胡百余剂，又兼服神效栝蒌散三十余剂，脓溃而愈。一位妇人，因怒左乳作痛，发热，表散太过，肿热益甚，用益气养荣汤数剂，热止脓成。不从用针，肿胀热渴，针刺排脓大泄，仍以前汤月余始愈。此证若脓未成未破，有薄皮剥起者用代针之剂，其脓自出，不如及时用针，不致大溃。若脓血未尽，辄用生肌药，反助其邪，慎之！一位妇人，脓清肿硬，面黄食少，内热晡热，自汗盗汗，月经不行，这是肝脾气血俱虚，用十全大补汤加远志、贝母，及补中益气汤各三十余剂，外用葱熨患处，诸证寻愈。一位妇人，脓成胀痛，欲针之不从。数日始针出败脓三四碗许，虚证蜂起，几至危殆，用大补汤两月余而安。若元气虚弱不作脓者，用益气养荣汤补之，脓成即针。若肿痛寒热，怠惰食少，或至夜热甚，用补中益气汤兼逍遥散补之，为善。一位妇年二十有五，素虚弱，多郁怒，时疫后脾胃愈虚，饮食愈少，又值气忿，右乳胁下红肿，应内作痛，用炒麦麸熨之，肿虽稍散，内痛益甚，转侧胸中，如物悬坠，遂与加减四物汤。内肿如鹅卵，外大如盘，胸胁背心相引而痛，夜热势甚，时治者皆以攻毒为言。薛己说：此病后脾弱，而复怒伤肝，治法惟主于健脾气，平肝火，则肿自消而病自愈矣。定方以八物汤加陈皮、黄芩、柴胡、山栀、白芷，服八剂病减六七，去白芷，加青皮、木香、桔梗，又六剂而全愈。如果用攻毒之剂，病怎么能痊愈。
葛稚川方 治疗妇人乳痈。
人牙齿（烧存性）
以上为极细末，用酥油调涂，贴于痈上。
敷乳方
天南星、生半夏、皂角针（烧带性，各三分）、白芷、草乌、直僵蚕（焙，各一分）
以上为细末，多用葱白研取汁，入蜜调敷。如果破疮口，作膏药贴。
【乳岩】
丹溪说，一位妇人六十岁，因肥甘厚味和郁气，且形体实盛多妒，夏天无汗且性急，忽然左乳结一小核，大如棋子，不痛。自觉神思不佳，不知食味绝半月，用人参汤调青皮、甘草末，入生姜汁，细细呷，一日夜五六次，至五七日消矣。此乃奶岩之始，不早治，隐至五年、十年以后发，不痛不痒，必于乳下溃一窍如岩穴，出脓，又或五七年、十年，虽饮食如故，洞见五内乃死。惟不得于夫者有之，妇以夫为天，失于所天，乃能生此。谓之岩者，以其如穴之嵌岈空洞，而外无所见，故名岩。患此者，必经久淹延，惟此妇治之早，正消患于未形，余者皆死，凡十余人。又治一初嫁之妇，只以青皮、甘草与之安。隆庆庚午，我自从秋闱归来，则亡妹已病。大概自七月，乳肿痛不散，八月用火针取脓，医生用十全大补汤给她...
[Zhu Danxi] The breast is the pathway of the Foot-Yangming Stomach Meridian; the nipple belongs to the Foot-Jueyin Liver Meridian. A nursing mother who does not know how to regulate her lifestyle may experience qi rebellion due to anger, qi stagnation due to depression, or damp-heat accumulation from rich and greasy foods. This leads to the failure of Jueyin Liver Qi to circulate, causing the orifices to be blocked and milk unable to exit. Simultaneously, Yangming Stomach blood boils, leading to severe heat and suppuration. There are also cases where the nursing infant has phlegm-stagnation in the chest-diaphragm and hot breath; while sleeping with the nipple in the mouth, the infant blows hot air into the breast, forming a tubercle (lump). At the initial stage, one must endure pain, massage the area until it softens slightly, and suckle to ensure milk flow, which will naturally dissipate. If this opportunity is missed and untreated, it will inevitably develop into an abscess or boil. Treatment method: Use Qingpi (Cortex Aurantii) to disperse Jueyin Liver Qi stagnation; finely grind Shigao (Gypsum Fibrosum) to clear Yangming Stomach heat; use Sheng Gancao Jie (Radix Glycyrrhizae with node) to move turbid blood; use Gualou Shi (Fructus Trichosanthis) to reduce swelling and guide out toxins; optionally add Moyao (Resina Mastichae), Qingjuye (Folium Citri Reticulatae), Zaojiaozhen (Spina Gleditsiae Sinensis), Jinyinhua (Flos Lonicerae Japonicae), and Danggui Tou (Radix Angelicae Sinensis caput). These can be prepared as decoctions or powders with modifications according to the condition, but must be assisted by a small amount of wine. Applying moxibustion (Ai Huo) two or three cones on the swollen area yields especially rapid results. Village practitioners, eager to show off, recklessly use needles and knives, aggravating the disease, which is truly pitiable. As for those who are dissatisfied with their husbands or parents-in-law, accumulating sorrow and anger over time, leading to the exhaustion of Spleen Qi and rebellious Liver Qi, a hidden lump like a turtle egg forms, painless and itchless. After ten-plus years, it becomes a sunken sore, named "Naiyan" (Breast Rock/Cancer). It is called rock because the sore shape is embedded and concave like a cave. It is incurable. However, if at the very beginning, the root cause can be resolved, keeping the mind clear and spirit peaceful, and then applying treatment, there is a possibility of recovery. My clan niece suffered from this at eighteen. Her physical form and pulse were slightly excess, but she was irritable. Although her marriage was harmonious, her relationship with her mother-in-law was difficult. I used a single formula, Qingpi Decoction, interspersed with modified Siwu Tang (Four Substances Decoction) to unblock meridians, and she recovered in two months. This disease often arises from rich foods causing damp-heat phlegm to accumulate in the chest-diaphragm, clashing with stagnant milk. Other causes include stagnant milk blown by the infant's hot breath, or stagnant milk stimulated by violent anger. Shigao (Gypsum Fibrosum), burnt Birch Bark (Hua Pi), Gualou Shi (Fructus Trichosanthis), Gancao Jie (Radix Glycyrrhizae with node), and Qingpi (Cortex Aurantii) are all miraculous drugs. For women, early treatment can eliminate the disease immediately. Cases occurring during menstruation are usually mild; cases after menopause (age 50-60) should not be taken lightly.
[Xue Ji] Men suffer Liver-Kidney injury from sexual exhaustion and rage; women suffer Liver-Spleen damage from postpartum depression. If there is pain with chills and fever, release the exterior pathogen. If swelling and pain are severe, clear the Liver and detoxify, preferably with Garlic Partition Moxibustion (Ge Suan Jiu). If suppuration does not occur or fails to rupture, use Tuoli San (Support the Interior Powder) as the main formula. If it does not heal or pus is thin, tonify the Spleen and Stomach. If pain recurs after drainage, or chills and fever appear, it indicates Qi and Blood deficiency; use Shiquan Dabu Tang (Ten Significant Decoction for Great Tonification). Fatigue and dry mouth indicate Middle Qi deficiency; use Buzhong Yiqi Tang (Tonify the Middle and Augment the Qi Decoction). Afternoon tidal fever and internal heat indicate Yin Blood deficiency; use Bazhen Tang (Eight Treasures Decoction) plus Wuweizi (Fructus Schisandrae). Nausea or vomiting indicates Stomach Qi deficiency; use Xiangsha Liujunzi Tang (Aucklandia and Amomum Six Gentlemen Decoction). Poor appetite with vomiting indicates Stomach Qi deficiency and cold; add Huoxiang (Herba Pogostemonis) to the previous formula. Poor appetite with diarrhea indicates Spleen Qi deficiency and cold; add Pao Heiganjiang (Prepared Black Ginger) to the previous formula. Swelling and pain due to overwork indicate unrecovered Qi and Blood; use Bazhen Tang doubling Renshen (Radix Ginseng), Fuling (Poria), Danggui (Radix Angelicae Sinensis), and Baizhu (Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae). Swelling and pain due to anger indicate Liver Fire injuring Blood; use Bazhen Tang plus Chaihu (Radix Bupleuri) and Zhizi (Fructus Gardeniae). Tubercles due to Liver Fire and Blood deficiency use Siwu Tang plus Renshen, Baizhu, Chaihu, and Shengma (Radix Cimicifugae). Tubercles due to Liver-Spleen Qi and Blood deficiency use Sijunzi Tang plus Xiong (Rhizoma Chuanxiong), Danggui, Chaihu, and Shengma. Tubercles due to depression injuring the Spleen use Guipi Tang (Restore the Spleen Decoction) combined with Gualou San (Trichosanthes Powder). Tubercles due to depression and anger injuring Liver-Spleen, which are painless and itchless, are named Ru Yan (Breast Cancer/Rock), the most difficult to treat. If one can restrain the Seven Emotions, avoid rich foods, resolve depression, and nourish Qi and Blood, life can be preserved.
Neituo Shengma Tang (Interior-Supporting Cimicifuga Decoction) treats black-headed sores between the breasts with depressed black centers, and early-stage mastitis.
Shengma (Radix Cimicifugae), Gegen (Radix Puerariae), Qiaqiao (Flos Lonicerae), Danggui Shen (Radix Angelicae Sinensis body), Huangbai (Cortex Phellodendri) (each 1 qian); Huangqi (Radix Astragali) (3 qian); Niubangzi (Semen Arctii), Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae, honey-fried) (each 1 qian); Rougui (Cortex Cinnamomi) (0.5 qian).
Take as one dose. Decoct with one cup of water and half a cup of wine until one cup remains. Take after meals.
Another Formula for Breast Tubercles in Women
Shengma (Radix Cimicifugae), Qiaqiao (Flos Lonicerae), Gancao Jie (Radix Glycyrrhizae with node), Qingpi (Cortex Aurantii) (each 2 qian); Gualou Ren (Semen Trichosanthis) (3 qian).
Take as one dose. Decoct with two cups of water until one cup remains. Sip slowly after meals.
[Mastitis]
Qingpi (Cortex Aurantii), Gualou (Fructus Trichosanthis), Juye (Folium Citri Reticulatae), Qiaqiao (Flos Lonicerae), Taoren (Semen Pruni Persicae, keep tips), Zaojiaoci (Spina Gleditsiae Sinensis), Gancao Jie (Radix Glycyrrhizae with node). If ruptured, add more Renshen (Radix Ginseng).
Shenxiao Gualou San (Miraculous Trichosanthes Powder) is highly effective for mastitis and breast cancer. Danxi also praised it as miraculous. For the poor who cannot gather ingredients, use the following: Dandelion (Pugongying), which is excellent.
Gualou (one fruit, peel and bake into powder, use those with many seeds for better efficacy), Sheng Gancao (Raw Radix Glycyrrhizae), Danggui (Radix Angelicae Sinensis, wine-soaked and baked) (each 0.5 liang); Rushiang (Resina Olibani, separately ground), Moyao (Resina Mastichae, separately ground) (each 2.5 qian).
Grind into powder. Use three sheng of pure wine, simmer slowly in a silver or earthenware vessel until one sheng of clear liquid remains. Divide into three doses, take well after meals. If breast cancer is present, taking this drug can eradicate the root. If toxin is formed, it transforms pus into yellow fluid; if not formed, it promotes elimination through urination and defecation. If severe, repeat administration until symptoms subside. Lifiao San (Rapid-Effect Powder) alternated with this formula is divine. Simply remove Danggui from the Gualou San formula and add 1 liang 6 qian of purple Zaojiaoci (Spina Gleditsiae Sinensis).
Jiuyuan Wuwu Tang (Investigate Origin Five-Ingredient Decoction) is general for carbuncles, back abscesses, and mastitis.
Gualou (ground, one fruit), Zaojiaoci (Spina Gleditsiae Sinensis, half-burnt, retaining raw nature), Moyao (Resina Mastichae) (each 0.5 liang); Rushiang (Resina Olibani), Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae) (each 2.5 qian).
Make coarse powder. Decoct with three sheng of strong wine to obtain two sheng. Drink frequently. Pain unbearable stops immediately.
Liaoqiao Yinzi (Forsythia Decoction) for Mastitis
Liaoqiao (Flos Lonicerae), Chuanxiong (Rhizoma Chuanxiong), Gualou (Fructus Trichosanthis), Zaojiaozhen (Spina Gleditsiae Sinensis), Juye (Folium Citri Reticulatae), Qingpi (Cortex Aurantii), Gancao Jie (Radix Glycyrrhizae with node), Taoren (Semen Pruni Persicae) (each 2 qian).
Take as one dose. Decoct with two cups of water until one cup remains. Take far from meals. If ruptured, add Renshen (Radix Ginseng) and Danggui (Radix Angelicae Sinensis); if unruptured, add Chaihu (Radix Bupleuri) and Shengma (Radix Cimicifugae).
Qinggan Jieyu Tang (Clear Liver Resolve Depression Decoction) treats Wind-Heat from Liver Blood deficiency, or Liver Depression-Fire injuring Blood, breast tubercles, or non-healing ulcers. Suitable for any disorder of Liver-Gallbladder Qi and Blood disharmony.
Renshen (Radix Ginseng, remove radix tip), Fuling (Poria), Beimu (Bulbus Fritillariae Cirrhosae, remove heart), Zhizi (Fructus Gardeniae, fried), Shudihuang (Radix Rehmanniae Preparata), Shaoyao (Radix Paeoniae Alba) (each 1 qian, fried); Baizhu (Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae), Danggui (Radix Angelicae Sinensis) (each 1.5 qian); Chaihu (Radix Bupleuri), Chuanxiong (Rhizoma Chuanxiong), Chenpi (Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae) (each 0.8 qian); Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae) (0.5 qian); Mudanpi (Cortex Moutan).
Decoct in water and take.
Fuyuan Tongqi San (Restore Origin Promote Qi Powder) treats female breast inflammation, carbuncles, and all swellings/toxins.
Muxiang (Radix Aucklandiae), Huixiang (Fructus Foeniculi), Qingpi (Cortex Aurantii), Chuanshanjia (Squama Manis, fried in butter), Chenpi (Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae), Baizhu (Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae - *Note: Text says Bai Zhi here? No, text says Bai Zhi later. Wait, text says "Bai Zhi" in next line? No, list is: Muxiang, Huixiang, Qingpi, Chuanshanjia, Chenpi, Baizhi, Gancao, Loulu, Beimu.* Correction: Muxiang, Huixiang, Qingpi, Chuanshanjia (butter-fried), Chenpi, Baizhi (Radix Angelicae Dahuricae), Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae), Loulu (Radix Agrimoniae), Beimu (Bulbus Fritillariae Cirrhosae, remove heart, ginger-processed) (equal parts).
Grind to fine powder. Take 3 qian each time, mixed with good wine.
Xiaodu San (Detoxify Powder) treats blowing-milk, mastitis, and groin abscesses. If there is aversion to cold with high fever or headache, first take Renshen Baidu San (Ginseng Detoxifying Powder) one or two doses before taking this. If no prior symptoms, take this two or three doses. If swelling does not subside, take interior-supporting medicines.
Qingpi (Cortex Aurantii, remove white pith), Jinyinhua (Flos Lonicerae Japonicae), Tianhuafen (Radix Trichosanthis), Chaihu (Radix Bupleuri), Jiangcan (Bombyx Batryticatus, fried), Beimu (Bulbus Fritillariae Cirrhosae), Danggui (Radix Angelicae Sinensis, wine-mixed), Baizhi (Radix Angelicae Dahuricae) (each 2 qian).
Decoct with two cups of water until one cup remains. Take far from meals. For groin abscess, add Wei Dahuang (Prepared Rhizoma Rhei) 1 qian, take on empty stomach.
[Pharmacology] Dandelion (Pugongying) is sweet, neutral, and non-toxic. It treats female breast abscesses/swelling. Boil in water, drink the juice, and apply externally. It eliminates immediately.
[Danxi] Dandelion grows everywhere in fields and roadsides. Blooms yellow flowers like chrysanthemums in March-April. Sweet taste, detoxifies and disperses stagnation. Likely enters Yangming and Taiyang meridians. Wash clean, grind finely, decoct strongly with Honeysuckle Vine (Jinteng), add a little wine. Sleepiness follows immediately; upon waking, the illness is gone.
Minister of War's Hand-Collected Formula for Breast Hardness about to Suppurate
Grind Deer Antler (Lujiao) on a rough stone, collect the white juice, and apply. Reapply when dry. Do not touch with hands. Also, suck out the yellow fluid with the mouth. It dissipates in about a day. Alternatively, grind Deer Antler into extremely fine powder, mix with wine, take 2-3 qian. Effective. Contraindicated in pregnancy.
Early Stage Mastitis Formula
Beimu (Bulbus Fritillariae Cirrhosae) ground into powder. Take 2 qian each time, mixed with warm wine. Then lie face down on a table, letting the breasts hang down for a long time to promote flow.
Shi Kangzu, magistrate of Guangde, served Zhang Wang devoutly. Later appointed to Wen..., he developed a left breast abscess, followed by a tubercle in the chest/diaphragm size of a fist, hard as stone. After half a year, treatments failed. It spread to arm, axilla, and shoulder, causing severe pain. He prayed at the Wang Shrine and dreamed: "To be safe, use fresh Ginger Juice and Cyperus Rotundus (Xiangfu)." He woke, checked Bencao, confirmed efficacy, consulted doctors who agreed. He used Xiangfu (Cyperus Rotundus), removed hairs, soaked in Ginger Juice overnight, ground to powder. Take 2 qian with rice water. After a few doses, pus drained, swelling subsided, and he recovered. Another woman, robust and irritable, with long-term emotional depression, had a painful tubercle in the left breast. Liaoqiao Yinzi (Forsythia Decoction) for 20+ doses reduced it slightly; then Bazhen Tang (Eight Treasures Decoction) plus Qingpi, Xiangfu, Jiegeng, and Beimu for 20+ doses eliminated it.
Zhangshi Jupi Tang (Zhang's Tangerine Peel Decoction) for Mastitis: Unformed resolves immediately; formed ruptures immediately. Extremely effective for unbearable pain. Also treats cases caused by infant "blowing milk". Use Chenpi (Tangerine Peel, soaked in water, remove white pith, dry, stir-fry with flour until slightly yellow, grind to fine powder) and Shexiang (Moschus, ground). Mix with wine, take 2 qian. Effective after one dose for initial redness, swelling, and pain.
[Danxi] Early mastitis swelling/hardness cures with one dose. Use real Birch Bark (Hua Pi), ground to powder, take with wine using a square-inch measure. Cures upon waking. (From Lingyuan Fang)
[Luo Qianfu] Shengjin Dan (Winning Gold Pill) for Female Blowing-Milk, extremely effective. Use Baichi Shuang (Hair scale from wooden comb).
One ingredient, unlimited quantity. Make pills with "No-Root Water" (rainwater) size of Sophora seeds. Take 3 pills each time, washed down with "Reverse Flowing Water" (collected rainwater from roof eaves) after meals. Left breast patients lie on left side; right breast patients lie on right side. Recover after sweating in a warm place. ("Reverse Flowing Water" is rainwater collected from roofs.)
Tu Jing treats unbearable breast pain. Use Chuanshanjia (Squama Manis, fried yellow), Mutong (Caulis Akebiae) (each 1 liang), Ziran Tong (Pyritum) (0.5 liang, raw). Grind three ingredients to fine powder. Take 2 qian each time, mixed with warm wine, anytime.
Jianyi Dusheng San (Simple Single-Holy Powder) for Female Blowing-Milk.
Baidingxiang (Excrement of White Sparrow) (0.5 liang, ground/sifted). Take 1 qian bi each time, mixed with warm wine, anytime.
[Yun Qi] Treats female blowing-milk, Zaojiao San (Gleditsia Powder). Song says:
For women's blowing-milk, what to do? Burn Gleditsia to ash, mix with clam powder;
Warm wine one cup, mix with a character-sized amount, rub away quickly, laugh happily.
Another Formula
Rushiang (Resina Olibani, ground, 1 qian), Gualou Gen (Radix Trichosanthis) powder (1 liang).

A young scholar, after labor, wind-cold night fever, left breast pain with palm-sized tubercle. Pulse fine-choppy-rapid. This is Yin stagnation in Yang. Inquired, found he drank alcohol. Liaoqiao (Flos Lonicerae), Shengma (Radix Cimicifugae), Mangxiao (Natrii Sulfas) (each 1 liang); Xuanshen (Radix Scrophulariae), Shaoyao (Radix Paeoniae), Bailian (Radix Paeoniae Rubra), Fangji (Radix Stephaniae Tetrandrae), Shegan (Rhizoma Belamcandae) (each 8 qian); Dahuang (Radix et Rhizoma Rhei) (2 qian); Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae) (6 qian); Xingren (Semen Pruni Armeniacae, remove skin/spike, 40 pieces).
Chop. Decoct in six sheng water to two sheng. Add Dahuang; then Mangxiao. Divide into three doses.
