421.疥疮：疥疮神验妙方通治五种疥疮干湿虫沙脓第一神方。并治一切湿热诸疮。有人遍身脓疥时发时愈，缠延三载百药不效。用此三日而愈。从此断根。方用：胡桃仁连皮一两 大枫子仁五钱 水银三钱共槌极融烂。先用此药一钱不可多用，放在手心擦匀将左手心在肚脐眼上顺着摩擦不可倒擦至手心发热即止。再用此药一钱放右手心在肚脐上照前摩擦至肚腹滚热即止。每日一次疮上不擦。轻者二日即愈。重者三日断根。每早用真川椒开口七粒滚水空心吞服。三日其水银入椒内从大便而出。再用川椒末铺席上被盖睡卧水银即从毛孔而出。此法最妙。又宜服补脾健胃之药而愈。
422.疮痛不寐：疮痛不寐有人遍身生疮疼痛手足尤甚并粘着衣被不能安睡。用菖蒲二斤晒干为末掺卧席上仍以被盖卧且不粘衣又能得睡五六日愈。
423。疮自走动：朱砂研末 取倒回虫一条共放手心研如泥敷疮上即时收回原处。倒回虫倒行墙其中基中多有。此方传自西域老僧。屡试屡验。
424.蛇毒疮愈后复发：有人两足生疮冬月则愈夏月则发，臭烂疼痛久不断根。一道人云：此是蛇毒。用活蛤蟆捣烂敷之。日换三次。后见一小蛇在疮中取出愈。
425.疮臌：因疮毒后腹胀如鼓名曰疮臌。多由患疥疮薰奄之后其毒归腹而成。切忌沐浴。用白僵蚕五两 红枣五两 先用水煮枣一二滚。取枣汤将僵蚕洗净。将枣去皮核捣烂取净枣肉二两 以僵蚕晒干为末二两共捣为丸。仍用红枣汤送服，服完痊愈。倘鼓胀危急不及待药。与服大活蟹四五只。约重一斤余蒸食饮酒盖暖睡下半日。后身上发疮更甚而鼓全消。然后将疮治愈。夫鼓胀死症也。疮可易愈也。
425.疮不收口经验三方：用蜈蚣一条焙干为末麻油调敷，数日收口，止痛如神。又方用鳖甲瓦上焙干枯存性研细末掺之，即收口生肌神效之至。又方：用五倍子焙枯存性研末，好醋调匀摊布上贴之，用细布糊纸一层以免去气神效。
426.疮口坚硬疼痛：凡疮毒久不收功。疮口坚硬疼痛名曰翻花起肛。取癞蛤蟆破腹刺数盖疮口。轻者日换一次。重者换两次。内服醒消丸止其疼痛。每服三钱陈酒送下。倘口硬孔深取牛蒡子草或紫花地丁神捣烂敷之其效如神。如有血出三七末撒之。每日葱椒汤煎洗。此林屋山人经验秘法也。
427.横痃：又名鱼口、便毒。又名外疝生于小腹两旁大腿缝中。形如腰子皮色不变。按之坚硬而微痛者是也。每日用皂角刺六钱研末布袋装好，同糯米二合煮粥时时服之。轻者三四日全消。外用五倍子新瓦上焙干研末好陈醋调匀摊布帖之。过夜即消。
溃烂久不收口贴之亦效。屡试如神。大忌开刀三百日死。若红肿而痛查痈毒治之。外贴凤仙膏最妙。
428.坐板疮：西域老僧秘传芦荟散专治诸疮毒水淋漓不干及坐板疮甚效。芦荟一两 甘草五钱 共研细末先用豆腐淋水洗净。将药敷上数日而愈。洗药以芫花 川椒 黄柏煎水洗之即消。
429.外科外治要方摘要
肥皂膏：治一切无名恶毒。方用生肥皂去子弦与筋捣烂，好醋和敷立愈。 不愈再敷。奇验无比。
430.赤豆膏：治一切疮毒。未成即消，已成即愈。方用真赤小豆四十九粒为末加苎麻根末金额鸡蛋白调敷。一日一换。
431.大蒜膏：治恶疮肿痛叫号不眠。方用：独蒜头数颗捣烂麻油拌和厚敷疮上。干又换敷毒消痛止如神。
432.芙蓉散：治一切痈疮疔疖热毒皆治。疮色白者勿用。方用：木芙蓉花叶晒干研末。每末一两加赤小豆一钱，同蜜调敷四围留疮头不敷。干则随换。初起即消。已成未穿，已穿易敛。无不神效。
433.凤仙膏：治对口发背鱼口便毒及一切无名恶毒并瘰疠初起如神。方用：凤仙花连根洗净风干，槌去自然汁入铜锅内不用加水，尽原汁熬稠敷患处。一日一换。诸毒初起，虽肿大如碗二三次即消。已破者勿用。
434.水仙膏：治对口发背乳痈鱼口便毒及一切恶毒。无论已破未破均极神效。凡悬痈诸疮久不收口者立能止痛生肌百发百中。水仙花兜用黄糖或红糖亦可，和捣如泥敷之。要鲜者佳。
435.菊花饮：治疔毒圣药，有起死回生之功。凡对口发背一切无名肿毒红色热痈亦神效。阴疽色白平塌勿用。白菊花捣自然汁滚酒冲服，盖被睡卧出汗，毒散。渣敷患处如无鲜者，即用药店中干白菊花四两 甘草四钱酒煮温服亦可。
436.瓜蒂散在；治痈疽大毒及一切无名恶症。陈年南瓜蒂烧炭酒冲服。再用麻油调此炭敷之立愈。
437.远志膏：治一切痈毒初起屡试神效。远志肉去心二两酒煮捣烂如泥敷之。用油纸隔布扎定过夜即消。
438.银花饮：治对口发背鱼口便毒及一切无名肿毒大有奇功。忍冬藤生采五两木槌捣烂加甘草一两同入砂罐内水二碗慢火煎至一碗。入无灰酒一碗再煎数沸去渣分为三服。一日夜服尽，以大小便通利为效。再将金银花藤叶捣烂少入白酒调搽四围中留一孔泄气。
439.松香散：治小儿胎毒及瘌痢疮并治男妇一切湿疮，有人施送四十余年神效无比。方用老松香炒二两 黄丹微炒一两 炒透铅粉五钱 真青黛一两 白矾二两 人发少许同烧以枯为度，共研细末。湿则干敷，干则用麻油调搽。
440.牛粪散：治湿热诸疮毒水淋漓久不收口并小儿痘疮破烂百药不效用此如神。亦名白龙散。黄牛粪焙干为末，干则用麻油调搽。湿则干掺。愈后无疤痕。
441.鸡腰膏：治小儿胎毒及头面耳前耳后一切湿疮并羊须疮。屡试如神。大鸡腰子一对蒸熟去皮枯矾三分共捣融加顶上冰片二分敷之。
442.鸡蛋油：此油最能杀虫诸疮破烂痒不可忍或不收口者搽之神效。鸡蛋数个整个煮熟，去白用黄干煎焦枯。以滚开水半杯冲入，油浮水面取出透火气听用。
443.牛牙散：治一切痈毒大疮初起者用之神良。并瘌痢头疮及脚下破烂神效。取已死黄牛门牙数枚以三钱为度。将牙烧红浸醋内。烧三次浸三次研末候冷，冲酒饮之，睡出大汗。次日全消。或腹泻。再用败毒散服之立愈。初起三日内俱可治。活人无算。并治瘌痢头疮并脚下烂多年者用真麻油或鸡蛋油调敷。
444.鸡蛋饮：凡肠痈发背脏毒鱼口等症初起三日之内照服一方，即行消散。如毒势壮者接连三服。无不尽消真神方也。皮色不变者勿服。鸡蛋一个倾入碗内搅匀入芒硝二钱蒸服。用好酒送下。
445.鲫鱼膏：治诸疮肿毒溃破流脓，并治脚生鸡眼俱极神效。乳岩以及一切色白阴疽忌用。净巴豆肉六两 蓖麻子去壳六两 香油一斤半 蛤蟆两个每个衔人发一团 活大鲫鱼五条 先将巴豆 蓖麻子入油内浸三日。再将蛤蟆浸一宿，临熬时入活鲫鱼共熬枯去渣净。慢火熬油滴水成珠，离火倾于净锅内，再加铅粉二斤半。乳香五钱 不时搅动冷定为度。用时重汤炖化薄纸摊贴。永戒食蟆。
446.蜈蚣膏：治一切已破无名恶毒。无论久近轻重贴之数日即能拔毒生肌。有起死回生之妙。并治毒蛇、疯犬即百虫咬伤俱极神效。大蜈蚣（长四五寸者八条、小者用二十条） 上木鳖子二十四个 真麻油一斤 。将蜈蚣 木鳖子放麻油内泡三日。用文武火熬起青烟将渣捞净（不净贴之作痛）加入黄丹四两，用柳枝不住手搅动。熬至滴水成膏。用罐收贮浸冷水中数日，拔去火毒。用时以布摊贴。
447.红膏药：专治疔疮疡子并铜铁竹木瓦石入疮入肉。屡试如神。银珠一钱 蓖麻仁二钱 嫩松香五钱 黄丹一钱 轻粉五分共捣如泥贴患处，膏盖之自能拔毒收功。
448.白膏药：治一切无名肿毒并小儿胎毒黄水湿疮。功能拔毒生肌屡试神验。凡湿疮无皮红肉现露。日久不愈者更效。顶上炉甘石炭火内烧五柱香久。研末摊地上一日冷透火气。用生猪油和匀捣融摊贴。
449.秘传黄明膏：治对口发背鱼口便毒及一切痈疽肿毒。未成即消已成即溃，拔毒生肌最为神效世传秘方也。牛皮胶一两入铜器内好醋和煮。用筷子时时搅动煮好加铅粉 黄丹各二钱搅匀收入罐内。放水中拔去火毒。用布摊贴。
450.银青散：治男子阴头生疮，腐烂疼痒，女子阴户两旁生疮湿烂肿痛发痒。并治小儿痘疤肿烂满头黄泡等疮用此皆效。白螺壳取墙上白色者佳，去净泥，火煅存性取净末一两 橄榄核火煅存性研取净末二钱 寒水石另研极细取净末二钱 冰片临用时每药二钱配冰片一分 共研末匀。以磁瓶盛贮勿使出气。干则油调搽，湿则干掺。神效无比。
451.金花散：治烂腿臁疮连年不愈，臭烂难堪并治一切痈疖疮毒。功能去腐生肌。方用：熟石膏一斤研极细 飞净黄丹一两和匀再筛再研。用真麻油调搽，上盖油纸，一日一换，不可用茶水洗。如有脓水流开随用药敷，以免烂开。若妇女一见月信之后下药自有功效。
452.洞天膏：治一切红肿热毒痈疖。其效如神。先用壮年头发一斤 芸苔子菜油一斤入锅熬至发枯去渣听用。再用活牛蒡草 生菊花连根 活苍耳草连根 生忍冬藤 生马鞭草（又名马鞭草） 生仙人对坐草各一斤。各草难觅少一二味亦可。入菜子油十两 熬至草枯沥渣。再加白芷 甘草 五灵脂 当归各半斤，入锅熬至药枯沥尽渣。俟油冷将前熬头发油合共称过斤两。每油一斤用炒透黄丹七两入油内搅匀。再熬至滴水成珠。以不粘指为度。离火冷透收贮听用。
453.洞天救苦丹治乳痈 乳岩及瘰疠破烂神效。露天有子蜂窝（无子不效） 雄鼠粪两头尖者是 青皮 苦楝子立冬后收者良 各放新瓦上焙存性各等分研末和匀。每服三钱陈酒送服。须三日再服。不可连日服至要。
454.代刀散：治疮毒肿胀疼痛服此即破。皂角刺 生黄芪各一两 生甘草 乳香各五钱 共为末。每用三钱陈酒兑服。
456.麻药：凡割毒疮或取箭头疮子敷之麻木不痛。川乌尖 草乌尖 生半夏 生南星 荜拨各一钱半 蟾酥二钱 胡椒 细辛各五钱细米酒调搽。又方公麻雀粪（尖而竖者是）胡椒各七粒烧酒调敷。
457.咬头膏：专治疮毒肿胀不破甚效。铜绿 松香 制乳香 制没药 杏仁 生木鳖子 研末 蓖麻子去壳各一钱 巴豆二钱 白砒一分共捣成膏为丸。如绿豆大。每用一粒放疮头上另用不拘何项膏药盖上。破即用茶洗。分别症候另用药治。孕妇胎前产后忌用。
458.醒消丸：治疔疮及一切大热痈毒肿痛不已立能消肿止痛。乃疗痈之圣药也。孕妇忌服。制乳香 制没药各一两 麝香二分 雄精五钱共研细用黄米饭一两和捣为丸。如粟米大。晒干。每服三钱热陈酒送服。盖被取汗为妙。
459.珍珠散：治口疮牙根红肿实火喉痛各症。每用一二分吹入神效。真硼砂 雄精 川连 儿茶 人中白 冰片 薄荷 黄柏各一钱 大破珍珠五分各研极细末和匀收入瓷瓶不可泄气。
460.神仙枣：凡生疮毒日久体虚，疮极重者内服外敷大有奇效。红枣三斤 银花 归身各一两 甘草三钱 僵蚕 白芷 乳香末 五倍子 黄芪各五钱 水六碗煎半倒出。再如前煎半。共煎汤六碗去药留枣。再煎分作四五日连枣与汤吃完全愈。
外科内服验方阳痈门
461.降痈活命饮：治一切无名肿毒无论阴症阳症初起能益气和血，解毒托里。破后能排脓去腐生肌长肉。疮科始终之圣药。功在仙方活命饮之上。产后生痈毒者更妙。 大当归八钱 生黄芪五钱 金银花五钱 甘草三钱 酒煎浓汁服。服后睡卧出汗即愈。毒在上加川芎二钱，在中加桔梗二钱，在下加牛膝二钱。泄泻加苍白术各二钱。呕吐恶心加陈皮 半夏各一钱。不思饮食加白术三钱 陈皮一钱，气虚加党参 生黄芪各五钱，阴疽肉白淡色无论冬夏加陈皮 麻黄六分 肉桂 炮姜各一钱半。断不可妄行加减。排脓加白芷三钱，欲穿加皂刺一钱半。
462.黄芪汤：治搭手发背对口痈症及一切大小无名肿毒未成者散，已成者溃，已溃者易收口。轻者一服。重者两服全愈。此方道人授传大有功效。小儿减半。孕妇忌服。 生黄芪 归身 甘草 白芍 穿山甲各五钱 上部加川芎 ，中部加杜仲，下部加牛膝各五钱。各药用淡陈酒一杯水一杯煎至一杯热服。避风盖被暖睡汗出即愈。未汗忌一切冷热汤水。汗出一时后不忌。
463.桔皮竹茹汤：治一切疮毒已破，胃火上逆气冲。时时呃逆，身热口渴唇焦。此热呃也。服之最效。 桔红 竹茹各二钱 生姜 党参各一钱 黄连八分 柿蒂七个水煎。空心服。
464.摩风膏：治面上或身上风热浮肿痒如虫行，肌肤干燥时起白屑。次后极痒抓破时流黄水或破烂见血痛楚难堪。此膏抹搽十日必全愈。屡试如神。此风热作痒第一方也。 麻黄五钱 羌活一两 升麻二钱 白檀香 白芨 防风 归身各二钱 用香油五两将各药浸泡五日，慢火熬枯去药用布沥尽渣。加黄蚶五钱再熬数滚启起冷透火毒听用。
421. 疥疮：治疗疥疮的神效妙方，通治五种类型的疥疮（干疥、湿疥、虫疥、沙疥、脓疥），这是第一神方。同时治疗一切湿热引起的各种疮疡。有人全身长满化脓性疥疮，时好时坏，拖延三年，服用百种药物无效。使用此方三天即可痊愈，从此断根。处方如下：胡桃仁（带皮）一两，大枫子仁五钱，水银三钱，共同捣碎至极烂。先用此药一钱（不可多用），放在手心擦匀，将左手心在肚脐眼上顺着方向摩擦，不可逆向摩擦，直到手心发热即停止。再用此药一钱放在右手心，在肚脐上照前法摩擦，直到肚腹滚热即停止。每日一次，疮面上不涂抹。轻症两天即愈，重症三天断根。每天早晨用真川椒七粒，用开水空腹吞服。三天后，水银进入花椒内，随大便排出。再用川椒末铺在席子上，盖上被子睡觉，水银就会从毛孔排出。此法最妙。另外宜服用补脾健胃的药物以巩固疗效。
422. 疮痛导致失眠：有人全身生疮疼痛，手足尤为严重，并且粘连衣被，无法安睡。用菖蒲二斤晒干研为细末，撒在卧席上，仍然盖被睡觉，这样既不粘衣被又能入睡，五六日可愈。
423. 疮毒自行移动：将朱砂研成细末，取一条倒行虫（一种昆虫，能倒退行走）与朱砂一起放在手心研成泥状，敷在疮上，疮毒即时收回原处。倒行虫常在墙壁中倒退行走，其中很多。此方传自西域的老僧，屡试屡验。
424. 蛇毒疮愈合后复发：有人两脚生疮，冬天痊愈，夏天发作，臭烂疼痛，久不断根。一位道士说：这是蛇毒。用活蛤蟆捣烂敷在患处。每天更换三次。后来见疮中出现一条小蛇，取出后痊愈。
425. 疮臌：因疮毒后遗症导致腹部胀大如鼓，名为疮臌。多由患疥疮熏蒸之后，其毒气归聚于腹部而成。切忌沐浴。用白僵蚕五两，红枣五两，先用水煮枣一至两滚。取枣汤将僵蚕洗净。将枣去皮核捣烂，取净枣肉二两，将僵蚕晒干研为细末二两，共同捣制成丸剂。仍用红枣汤送服，服完即痊愈。如果腹胀危急，来不及等待药物煎制，可服用大活蟹四五只，约重一斤多，蒸熟食用，饮酒后盖暖被子睡上半日。之后身上发出更严重的疮，但腹胀全消。然后将疮治愈。夫腹胀是死症，而疮容易治愈。
425. 疮口不收口的经验三方：用蜈蚣一条焙干研为细末，用麻油调匀敷贴，数日收口，止痛效果如神。另一方法用鳖甲在瓦上焙干至枯存性，研成细末撒在疮口，即刻收口生肌，神效至极。又一方：用五倍子焙枯存性研末，用好醋调匀摊在布上贴敷，用细布糊一层纸以免漏气，神效。
426. 疮口坚硬疼痛：凡是疮毒久不愈合，疮口坚硬疼痛，名为翻花起肛。取癞蛤蟆破腹，刺破敷在疮口上。轻者每天更换一次，重者每天更换两次。内服醒消丸以止疼痛。每次服用三钱，用陈酒送下。如果口硬孔深，取牛蒡子草或紫花地丁捣烂敷之，其效如神。如果有出血，撒上三七粉。每天用葱椒汤煎洗。这是林屋山人的经验秘法。
427. 横痃：又名鱼口、便毒。又名外疝，生于小腹两旁大腿缝中。形状像腰子，皮色不变，按压坚硬且微痛的就是。每天用皂角刺六钱研末，装入布袋，同糯米二合煮粥，时时服用。轻者三四日全消。外用五倍子在新生瓦上焙干研末，用好陈醋调匀摊在布上贴敷。过夜即消。溃烂久不收口贴之亦有效，屡试如神。大忌开刀，否则三百日必死。若红肿而痛，按痈毒治疗。外贴凤仙膏最妙。
428. 坐板疮：西域老僧秘传的芦荟散，专治诸疮毒水流淋漓不干及坐板疮，非常有效。芦荟一两，甘草五钱，共同研成细末。先用豆腐淋的水洗净患处，将药敷上，数日而愈。洗药可用芫花、川椒、黄柏煎水洗之，即可消除。
429. 外科外治要方摘要
肥皂膏：治疗一切无名恶毒。处方用生肥皂去子弦与筋捣烂，用好醋调和敷贴，立愈。若不愈再敷。奇验无比。
430. 赤豆膏：治疗一切疮毒。未成形的即消散，已成形的即愈合。处方用真赤小豆四十九粒研为细末，加苎麻根末和鸡蛋清调匀敷贴。一日一换。
431. 大蒜膏：治疗恶疮肿痛叫号不眠。处方用独蒜头数颗捣烂，拌和麻油厚敷在疮上。干了再换敷，毒消痛止如神。
432. 芙蓉散：治疗一切痈疮疔疖热毒皆治。疮色白者勿用。处方用木芙蓉花叶晒干研末。每末一两加赤小豆一钱，同蜜调敷四周，留疮头不敷。干了则随时更换。初起即消。已成未穿，已穿易敛，无不神效。

446. 蜈蚣膏：治疗一切已破无名恶毒。无论久近轻重贴之数日即能拔毒生肌。有起死回生之妙。并治毒蛇、疯犬即百虫咬伤俱极神效。大蜈蚣（长四五寸者八条、小者用二十条），木鳖子二十四个，真麻油一斤。将蜈蚣、木鳖子放麻油内泡三日。用文武火熬起青烟将渣捞净（不净贴之作痛），加入黄丹四两，用柳枝不住手搅动。熬至滴水成膏。用罐收贮浸冷水中数日，拔去火毒。用时以布摊贴。
447. 红膏药：专治疔疮疡子并铜铁竹木瓦石入疮入肉。屡试如神。银珠一钱，蓖麻仁二钱，嫩松香五钱，黄丹一钱，轻粉五分，共捣如泥贴患处，膏盖之自能拔毒收功。
448. 白膏药：治疗一切无名肿毒并小儿胎毒黄水湿疮。功能拔毒生肌，屡试神验。凡湿疮无皮红肉现露，日久不愈者更效。顶上炉甘石炭火内烧五柱香久，研末摊地上一日冷透火气。用生猪油和匀捣融摊贴。
449. 秘传黄明膏：治疗对口发背、鱼口便毒及一切痈疽肿毒。未成即消，已成即溃，拔毒生肌最为神效，世传秘方也。牛皮胶一两，入铜器内，好醋和煮。用筷子时时搅动，煮好加铅粉、黄丹各二钱，搅匀收入罐内。放水中拔去火毒。用布摊贴。
450. 银青散：治疗男子阴头生疮，腐烂疼痒，女子阴户两旁生疮湿烂肿痛发痒。并治小儿痘疤肿烂满头黄泡等疮用此皆效。白螺壳取墙上白色者佳，去净泥，火煅存性取净末一两，橄榄核火煅存性研取净末二钱，寒水石另研极细取净末二钱，冰片临用时每药二钱配冰片一分，共研末匀。以磁瓶盛贮勿使出气。干则油调搽，湿则干掺。神效无比。
451. 金花散：治疗烂腿臁疮连年不愈，臭烂难堪，并治一切痈疖疮毒。功能去腐生肌。处方用熟石膏一斤研极细，飞净黄丹一两和匀再筛再研。用真麻油调搽，上盖油纸，一日一换，不可用茶水洗。如有脓水流开随用药敷，以免烂开。若妇女一见月信之后下药自有功效。
452. 洞天膏：治疗一切红肿热毒痈疖。其效如神。先用壮年头发一斤，芸苔子菜油一斤入锅熬至发枯去渣听用。再用活牛蒡草、生菊花连根、活苍耳草连根、生忍冬藤、生马鞭草（又名马鞭草）、生仙人对坐草各一斤。各草难觅少一二味亦可。入菜子油十两，熬至草枯沥渣。再加白芷、甘草、五灵脂、当归各半斤，入锅熬至药枯沥尽渣。俟油冷将前熬头发油合共称过斤两。每油一斤用炒透黄丹七两入油内搅匀。再熬至滴水成珠。以不粘指为度。离火冷透收贮听用。
453. 洞天救苦丹：治疗乳痈、乳岩及瘰疠破烂神效。露天有子蜂窝（无子不效），雄鼠粪两头尖者是，青皮，苦楝子立冬后收者良，各放新瓦上焙存性，各等分研末和匀。每服三钱，陈酒送服。须三日再服。不可连日服至要。
454. 代刀散：治疗疮毒肿胀疼痛，服此即破。皂角刺、生黄芪各一两，生甘草、乳香各五钱，共为末。每用三钱，陈酒兑服。
456. 麻药：凡割毒疮或取箭头疮子敷之麻木不痛。川乌尖、草乌尖、生半夏、生南星、荜拨各一钱半，蟾酥二钱，胡椒、细辛各五钱，细米酒调搽。又方公麻雀粪（尖而竖者是）、胡椒各七粒，烧酒调敷。
457. 咬头膏：专治疮毒肿胀不破，甚效。铜绿、松香、制乳香、制没药、杏仁、生木鳖子、研末、蓖麻子去壳各一钱，巴豆二钱，白砒一分，共捣成膏为丸。如绿豆大。每用一粒放疮头上，另用不拘何项膏药盖上。破即用茶洗。分别症候另用药治。孕妇胎前产后忌用。
458. 醒消丸：治疗疔疮及一切大热痈毒肿痛不已，立能消肿止痛。乃疗痈之圣药也。孕妇忌服。制乳香、制没药各一两，麝香二分，雄精五钱，共研细用黄米饭一两和捣为丸。如粟米大。晒干。每服三钱，热陈酒送服。盖被取汗为妙。
459. 珍珠散：治疗口疮、牙根红肿、实火喉痛各症。每用一二分吹入，神效。真硼砂、雄精、川连、儿茶、人中白、冰片、薄荷、黄柏各一钱，大破珍珠五分，各研极细末和匀，收入瓷瓶不可泄气。
460. 神仙枣：凡生疮毒日久体虚，疮极重者内服外敷大有奇效。红枣三斤，银花、归身各一两，甘草三钱，僵蚕、白芷、乳香末、五倍子、黄芪各五钱，水六碗煎半倒出。再如前煎半。共煎汤六碗去药留枣。再煎分作四五日连枣与汤吃完全愈。
外科内服验方阳痈门
461. 降痈活命饮：治疗一切无名肿毒，无论阴症阳症初起能益气和血，解毒托里。破后能排脓去腐生肌长肉。疮科始终之圣药。功在仙方活命饮之上。产后生痈毒者更妙。大当归八钱，生黄芪五钱，金银花五钱，甘草三钱，酒煎浓汁服。服后睡卧出汗即愈。毒在上加川芎二钱，在中加桔梗二钱，在下加牛膝二钱。泄泻加苍白术各二钱。呕吐恶心加陈皮、半夏各一钱。不思饮食加白术三钱、陈皮一钱，气虚加党参、生黄芪各五钱，阴疽肉白淡色无论冬夏加陈皮、麻黄六分、肉桂、炮姜各一钱半。断不可妄行加减。排脓加白芷三钱，欲穿加皂刺一钱半。
462. 黄芪汤：治疗搭手、发背、对口痈症及一切大小无名肿毒未成者散，已成者溃，已溃者易收口。轻者一服，重者两服全愈。此方道人授传大有功效。小儿减半。孕妇忌服。生黄芪、归身、甘草、白芍、穿山甲各五钱，上部加川芎，中部加杜仲，下部加牛膝各五钱。各药用淡陈酒一杯水一杯煎至一杯热服。避风盖被暖睡汗出即愈。未汗忌一切冷热汤水。汗出一时后不忌。
463. 桔皮竹茹汤：治疗一切疮毒已破，胃火上逆气冲。时时呃逆，身热口渴唇焦。此热呃也。服之最效。桔红、竹茹各二钱，生姜、党参各一钱，黄连八分，柿蒂七个，水煎。空心服。
464. 摩风膏：治疗面上或身上风热浮肿痒如虫行，肌肤干燥时起白屑。次后极痒抓破时流黄水或破烂见血痛楚难堪。此膏抹搽十日必全愈。屡试如神。此风热作痒第一方也。麻黄五钱，羌活一两，升麻二钱，白檀香、白芨、防风、归身各二钱，用香油五两将各药浸泡五日，慢火熬枯去药用布沥尽渣。加黄蚶五钱再熬数滚，启起冷透火毒听用。
464. 二味拔毒散：治疗一切毒虫咬伤，无论肿痛瘙痒敷之即止。其效如神。雄黄、枯矾各等分为末。先用生姜汁洗净，用茶调搽。
421. Scabies: The miraculous prescription for scabies treats all five types of scabies (dry, wet, insect, sand, and pus scabies) and is the premier divine formula. It also treats all sores caused by damp-heat. A patient suffered from generalized purulent scabies that came and went for three years with no effect from hundreds of medicines. Using this formula resulted in a cure within three days, eliminating the root cause permanently. Prescription: Walnut kernel (with skin) 1 liang, Giant croton seed kernel 5 qian, Mercury 3 qian. Pound together until extremely smooth. Apply 1 qian of this medicine (do not use more) evenly on the palm. Rub the left palm over the navel in a clockwise direction only; do not rub counter-clockwise. Stop when the palm feels hot. Then apply another 1 qian to the right palm and rub over the navel as before until the abdomen feels rolling hot. Use once daily; do not apply directly to the sores. Mild cases heal in two days; severe cases are cured in three days. Every morning, swallow seven Sichuan peppercorns with boiling water on an empty stomach. After three days, the mercury enters the peppercorn and is excreted via stool. Then, spread crushed Sichuan peppercorn powder on the sleeping mat, cover with a quilt, and sleep; the mercury will exit through the pores. This method is excellent. Additionally, taking spleen-tonifying and stomach-strengthening herbs aids recovery.
422. Insomnia due to sore pain: A patient had painful sores all over the body, especially on the hands and feet, adhering to clothes and bedding, making sleep impossible. Dry and powder 2 jin of Acorus tatarinowii (Changpu). Sprinkle it on the sleeping mat. Sleep under the quilt; it will not stick to clothes or bedding, allowing sleep. Cure within five to six days.
423. Migrating sore: Grind Cinnabar (Zhusha) into fine powder. Take one "back-walking worm" (an insect capable of moving backward), grind it with the cinnabar in the palm until muddy, and apply to the sore. The sore toxin immediately returns to its original location. Back-walking worms are often found moving backward in walls. This formula was transmitted from an old monk from the Western Regions and has proven effective repeatedly.
424. Recurrence of snake-toxin sore after healing: A patient had sores on both legs that healed in winter but flared up in summer, becoming foul, rotten, and painful without permanent cure. A Daoist priest stated: "This is snake toxin." Apply mashed live toad to the affected area. Change three times daily. Later, a small snake was found and removed from the sore, leading to a cure.
425. Sore-induced abdominal distension (Chuang Gu): Abdominal distension like a drum caused by residual sore toxin is called Chuang Gu. It often results from toxic heat accumulating in the abdomen after fumigation treatment for scabies. Bathing is strictly prohibited. Prescription: White silkworm pupa (Bai Jiang Can) 5 liang, Red dates (Hong Zao) 5 liang. Boil red dates in water for one or two boils. Use the date decoction to wash the Bai Jiang Can clean. Peel and remove pits from the dates, mash the flesh to obtain 2 liang of pure date pulp. Dry and powder the Bai Jiang Can to obtain 2 liang of powder. Mix and form pills. Administer with the red date decoction. Cure upon completion. If abdominal distension is critical and waiting for decoction is impossible, consume four or five large live crabs (approx. 1 jin), steamed, followed by alcohol. Cover warmly and sleep for half a day. Subsequently, severe sores may erupt, but the abdominal distension will completely resolve. Then treat the sores. Abdominal distension is typically fatal, while sores are easily curable.
425. Three empirical formulas for non-healing sore openings:
1. Roast one centipede until dry, powder it, mix with sesame oil, and apply. Wounds close in a few days; pain relief is miraculous.
2. Roast softshell turtle shell (Bie Jia) on a tile until charred but retaining medicinal properties, powder finely, and sprinkle on the wound. Promotes rapid closure and tissue regeneration.
3. Roast Chinese gallnut (Wu Bei Zi) until charred but retaining medicinal properties, powder it, mix with good aged vinegar, spread on cloth, and apply. Cover with thin paper and paste to prevent evaporation. Miraculous effect.
426. Hard and painful sore opening: When sore toxins persist without healing, resulting in hard, painful openings known as "Fan Hua Qi Gang," take a toad, cut open its belly, and puncture/apply it to the sore opening. Change once daily for mild cases, twice for severe cases. Internally administer Xingxiao Wan (Awakening and Eliminating Pills) to stop pain. Take 3 qian with aged wine. For hard openings with deep holes, crush fresh Arctium lappa (Niu Bang Zi) grass or Viola yedoensis (Zi Hua Di Ding) and apply. Effect is miraculous. If bleeding occurs, sprinkle Sanqi powder. Wash daily with decoction of green onion and Sichuan pepper. This is the secret empirical method of Linwu Shanshanren.
427. Bubo (Heng Xuan): Also known as Yuzui (Fish Mouth) or Biandu (Genital Abscess) or Waishan (External Hernia). It arises on both sides of the lower abdomen in the groin crease. It resembles a kidney bean, has normal skin color, feels hard upon pressure, and causes slight pain. Daily, powder 6 qian of Gleditsia sinensis thorn (Zao Jiao Ci), place in a cloth bag, and cook with 2 he of glutinous rice to make porridge. Consume frequently. Mild cases resolve in 3-4 days. Externally, roast Wu Bei Zi on a new tile until dry, powder it, mix with aged vinegar, spread on cloth, and apply. Resolves overnight. Effective even for chronic non-healing ulcers. Repeatedly tested as miraculous. Surgery is strictly forbidden; incision leads to death within 300 days. If red, swollen, and painful, treat as carbuncle. Externally apply Fengxian Gao (Fengxian Ointment) for best results.
428. Sitting sore (Zuo Ban Chuang): Secret transmission from an old monk of the Western Regions. Lu Hui San (Aloe Powder) specifically treats weeping sores and sitting sores with great efficacy. Aloe vera 1 liang, Licorice root (Gan Cao) 5 qian. Grind into fine powder. First, wash the area with water filtered through tofu. Apply the medicine. Heals in a few days. To wash, decoct Genkwa flos (Yuan Hua), Sichuan pepper (Chuan Jiao), and Phellodendron bark (Huang Bo) for washing. Eliminates the condition.
429. Summary of Essential External Surgical Formulas
Soap Paste: Treats all nameless malignant toxins. Use raw soap pod, remove seeds, strings, and veins, mash well, mix with good vinegar, and apply. Cures immediately. Reapply if necessary. Extremely effective.
430. Red Bean Paste: Treats all sore toxins. Prevents formation if early; cures if formed. Use 49 true adzuki beans (Chi Xiao Dou), powder them, add powder of Boehmeria nivea root (Zhu Ma Gen), and egg white. Mix and apply. Change once daily.
431. Garlic Paste: Treats malignant sores with swelling, pain, screaming, and insomnia. Use several cloves of single-clove garlic, mash, mix with sesame oil, and apply thickly to the sore. Replace when dry. Stops pain and eliminates toxin miraculously.
432. Furion San (Hibiscus Powder): Treats all carbuncles, sores, furuncles, and heat toxins. Do not use for pale-colored sores. Use dried leaves and flowers of Hibiscus mutabilis (Mu Fu Rong), powder them. Add 1 qian of Chi Xiao Dou per 1 liang of powder. Mix with honey and apply around the perimeter, leaving the head of the sore uncovered. Replace when dry. Eliminates early-stage lesions; promotes healing of unruptured or ruptured ones. Universally effective.
433. Fengxian Gao (Fengxian Ointment): Treats carbuncles on the neck/back (Dui Kou Fa Bei), buboes (Yu Kou Bian Du), nameless malignant toxins, and early-stage scrofula. Use fresh Impatiens balsamina (Feng Xian Hua) roots and stems, wash and air-dry. Mash to extract natural juice. Simmer in a copper pot without adding water until thick. Apply to the affected area. Change once daily. Early-stage swellings, even bowl-sized, resolve in 2-3 applications. Do not use on broken sores.
434. Shui Xian Gao (Narcissus Ointment): Treats Dui Kou Fa Bei, mastitis (Ru Yong), buboes, and all malignant toxins. Highly effective whether ruptured or not. Instantly stops pain and regenerates tissue for chronic non-healing sores like Xuan Yong. Use the bulb/head of Narcissus tazetta (Shui Xian Hua), mix with yellow or brown sugar, mash into a paste, and apply. Fresh material is preferred.
435. Ju Hua Yin (Chrysanthemum Drink): Sacred medicine for ding toxins, capable of reviving the dying. Highly effective for Dui Kou Fa Bei, nameless red heat carbuncles. Do not use for pale, flat cold abscesses (Yin Ju). Juice of white chrysanthemum (Bai Ju Hua) mixed with boiling rice wine, taken internally. Cover with quilt to induce sweating, dispersing toxin. Apply residue externally. If fresh flowers unavailable, use 4 liang of dried white chrysanthemum and 4 qian of Gan Cao, decocted in wine, warm and taken.
436. Gua Di San: Treats major carbuncles/furuncles and nameless malignant conditions. Burn dried pumpkin peduncle (Gua Di) to charcoal. Take with wine. Also, mix charcoal with sesame oil and apply topically for immediate cure.
437. Yuan Zhi Gao: Treats early-stage carbuncles/toxins with repeated miraculous effects. Use 2 liang of Polygala tenuifolia root meat (Yuan Zhi Rou), remove heart, decoct in wine, mash into paste, and apply. Secure with oiled paper and cloth. Resolves overnight.
438. Yin Hua Yin: Great efficacy for Dui Kou Fa Bei, buboes, and nameless swellings. Harvest fresh Lonicera japonica vine (Ren Dong Teng) 5 liang, pound with wooden mallet, add 1 liang of Gan Cao. Decoct in 2 bowls of water in a clay pot over low heat until reduced to 1 bowl. Add 1 bowl of pure rice wine, boil briefly, strain, and divide into three doses. Complete within 24 hours. Efficacy indicated by free urination and defecation. Pound fresh Lonicera leaves/vines, mix with small amount of white wine, apply around the perimeter, leaving one hole to vent qi.
439. Song Xiang San: Treats infantile fetal toxin, ringworm/scalp impetigo, and damp sores in men and women. Given freely for 40+ years with miraculous results. Stir-fry 2 liang of old rosin (Song Xiang), lightly stir-fry 1 liang of lead tetraoxide (Huang Dan), stir-fry 5 qian of lead carbonate (Qian Fen), 1 liang of Indigo naturalis (Qing Dai), 2 liang of alum (Bai Fan), and a little human hair. Burn together until dry/crude. Powder finely. Apply dry for wet sores; mix with sesame oil for dry sores.
440. Niu Fen San: Treats damp-heat sores with weeping fluid and chronic non-healing, as well as ruptured infantile smallpox resistant to other treatments. Also known as Bai Long San. Roast yellow cow dung until dry, powder it. Mix with sesame oil for dry sores; apply dry for wet sores. Leaves no scars upon healing.
441. Ji Yao Gao: Treats infantile fetal toxin and damp sores on head, face, ears. Also treats goat beard disease (scalp infection). Repeatedly effective. Steam one pair of large chicken kidneys, peel, mix with 3 qian of calcined alum (Ku Fan), mash together. Add 2 fen of borneol (Bing Pian) from the top grade. Apply.
442. Ji Dan You (Chicken Egg Oil): Best for killing parasites; highly effective for weeping, unbearable itching, or non-healing sores. Boil several eggs whole, separate yolks, fry dry until charred. Pour half cup of boiling water over charred yolks. Oil floats to surface; skim off, cool to remove fire toxicity. Store for use.
443. Niu Ya San: Excellent for early-stage major carbuncles/toxins. Also effective for scalp ringworm and chronic leg ulcers. Take teeth of dead yellow ox, approx. 3 qian. Red-hot teeth soaked in vinegar. Repeat heating and soaking three times. Powder when cool. Take with wine to induce heavy sweating. Condition resolves next day (may have diarrhea). Follow with Bai Du San for complete cure. Effective within first three days. Countless lives saved. For chronic scalp/leg ulcers, mix with sesame oil or chicken egg oil for topical application.
444. Ji Dan Yin: For early-stage appendicitis (Chang Yong), back carbuncle, visceral toxin, or bubo within three days. One dose causes resolution. For severe toxin, take three consecutive doses. Universally dissolving. Do not use if skin color is unchanged. Crack one egg into bowl, beat, add 2 qian of Mirabilite (Mang Xiao), steam, and take. Wash down with good wine.
445. Ji Yu Gao: Highly effective for ruptured sores with pus discharge and corns on feet. Contraindicated for breast cancer (Ru Yan) and pale cold abscesses. Soak 6 liang of cleaned Croton seed meat (Ba Dou) and 6 liang of castor bean seeds (Bi Ma Zi) in 1.5 jin of sesame oil for three days. Soak two toads (each holding a clump of human hair) overnight. Add five live large crucian carp. Boil until ingredients are crisp, strain clear. Slowly boil oil until it forms beads when dropped in water. Remove from heat, pour into clean pot. Add 2.5 jin of lead tetraoxide (Huang Dan) and 5 qian of Frankincense (Ru Xiang). Stir constantly until cooled and solidified. Melt in double boiler, spread on thin paper, and apply. Strictly avoid eating toads.
446. Wu Gong Gao: Treats all ruptured nameless malignant toxins. Extracts toxin and regenerates tissue in a few days regardless of duration or severity. Revives the dying. Effective for snake bites, mad dog bites, and insect stings. Use 8 large centipedes (4-5 cun) or 20 small ones, 24 Momordica cochinchinensis seeds (Mu Bie Zi), 1 jin of sesame oil. Soak centipedes and seeds in oil for three days. Heat gently until blue smoke rises, strain dregs thoroughly (impurities cause pain). Add 4 liang of Huang Dan. Stir continuously with willow branch until it forms a paste (bead test). Store in jar, soak in cold water for days to remove fire toxicity. Spread on cloth and apply.
447. Hong Gao Yao (Red Plaster): Specifically for ding sores and embedded foreign bodies (metal, wood, stone). Repeatedly effective. Mix 1 qian of Vermilion (Yin Zhu), 2 qian of Castor kernel, 5 qian of young rosin, 1 qian of Huang Dan, 5 fen of Calomel (Qing Fen). Mash into paste, apply to lesion, cover with plaster. Naturally extracts toxin and heals.
448. Bai Gao Yao (White Plaster): Treats nameless swellings, infantile fetal toxin, and yellow-water damp sores. Extracts toxin and regenerates tissue. Especially effective for chronic sores with exposed red flesh. Calcine Lithopone (Lu Gan Shi) in charcoal fire for five incense sticks. Powder, spread on ground for one day to cool/remove fire toxicity. Mix with raw pork fat, mash, spread, and apply.
449. Secret Yellow Ming Gao: Treats Dui Kou Fa Bei, buboes, and all carbuncles/swellings. Dissolves early lesions; ruptures formed ones. Extracts toxin and regenerates tissue. Cow hide glue (Niu Pi Jiao) 1 liang, boiled in good vinegar in copper vessel. Stir constantly with chopsticks. Add 2 qian each of Qian Fen and Huang Dan when ready. Stir, store in jar, soak in water to remove fire toxicity. Spread on cloth and apply.
450. Yin Qing San: Treats ulcers on male glans (rotten, painful, itchy) and female vulva (wet, swollen, painful, itchy). Also effective for swollen/ruptured infantile smallpox pustules. Use white conch shell (Bai Luo Ke) from wall, clean, calcine, powder 1 liang. Calcinate olive pit (Gan Lan He), powder 2 qian. Fine powder of Natron (Han Shui Shi) 2 qian. Mix with 1 fen of Borneol (Bing Pian) per 2 qian of mixture. Store in porcelain bottle to prevent gas escape. Mix with oil for dry sores; apply dry for wet sores. Miraculous.
451. Jin Hua San: Treats chronic leg ulcers (Liang Chuang) with foul odor and all carbuncles/furuncles. Removes necrotic tissue and regenerates muscle. Mix 1 jin of calcined gypsum (Shu Shi Gao) with 1 liang of refined Huang Dan. Sieve and grind again. Mix with sesame oil, apply, cover with oiled paper. Change daily. Do not wash with tea water. Apply promptly if pus spreads to prevent further rotting. Effective for women after menstruation.
452. Dong Tian Gao: Treats all red, swollen, hot-toxin carbuncles/furuncles. Miracle effect. Boil 1 jin of mature human hair in 1 jin of rapeseed oil until hair is crisp; strain. Decoct 1 jin each of fresh Arctium root, wild chrysanthemum root, Xanthium sibiricum root, Lonicera japonica vine, Verbena officinalis, and Persicaria perfoliata in 10 liang of rapeseed oil until herbs are crisp; strain. Add 0.5 jin each of Angelica dahurica (Bai Zhi), Gan Cao, Trogopterus dung (Wu Ling Zhi), and Angelica sinensis (Dang Gui). Boil until herbs are crisp; strain. Cool oil, weigh combined hair-oil and herb-oil. For every 1 jin of oil, add 7 liang of roasted Huang Dan. Stir until bead test passes and does not stick to finger. Cool, store.
453. Dong Tian Jiu Ku Dan: Treats mastitis, breast cancer, and ruptured scrofula. Use open honeycomb with larvae (empty ones ineffective), male rat droppings (pointed ends), Qing Pi, and Chinaberry seeds (Ku Lian Zi, harvested after Start of Winter). Calcine on new tiles until retained property. Equal parts, powder, mix. Take 3 qian with aged wine. Take every three days. Do not take consecutively daily. Crucial.
454. Dai Dao San: Treats swollen/painful sores; induces rupture. Gleditsia sinensis thorn (Zao Jiao Ci) and Astragalus root (Sheng Huang Qi) 1 liang each; Licorice root (Sheng Gan Cao) and Frankincense (Ru Xiang) 5 qian each. Powder. Take 3 qian mixed with aged wine.
456. Anesthetic: For cutting toxic sores or removing arrowheads/splinters. Causes numbness/painlessness. Mix 1.5 qian each of Aconite tip (Chuan Wu Jian), Typhonium tip (Cao Wu Jian), Pinellia tuber (Sheng Ban Xia), Arisaema rhizome (Sheng Nan Xing), and Long pepper (Bi Bo); 2 qian of Chan Su (Toad Venom); 5 qian each of Black pepper (Hu Jiao) and Asarum (Xi Xin). Mix with fine rice wine and apply. Alternative: Roast male sparrow droppings (pointed/upright) and 7 grains of black pepper with liquor, apply.
457. Yao Tou Gao (Head-Biting Paste): Specifically for swollen sores not yet ruptured. Mix 1 qian each of Verdigris (Tong Lv), Rosin (Song Xiang), processed Frankincense (Zhi Ru Xiang), processed Myrrh (Zhi Mo Yao), Almond (Xing Ren), raw Momordica seed (Sheng Mu Bie Zi), powdered form, and shelled castor seed; 2 qian of Croton seed (Ba Dou); 1 fen of White Arsenic (Bai Pi). Mash into paste, form pills size of mung bean. Place one pill on sore head, cover with any plaster. Once ruptured, wash with tea. Treat according to syndrome. Contraindicated in pregnancy and postpartum.
458. Xing Xiao Wan: Treats ding sores and major heat carbuncles with persistent swelling/pain. Instantly reduces swelling and stops pain. Sacred medicine for carbuncles. Contraindicated in pregnancy. Mix 1 liang each of processed Frankincense and Myrrh; 2 fen of Musk (She Xiang); 5 qian of Realgar (Xiong Jing). Powder finely, mix with 1 liang of yellow rice flour, knead into pills size of millet grain. Dry. Take 3 qian with hot aged wine. Cover with quilt to induce sweating.
459. Zhen Zhu San: Treats mouth ulcers, swollen gums, excess-fire throat pain. Blow 1-2 fen into affected area. Mix 1 qian each of Borax (Peng Sha), Realgar (Xiong Jing), Coptis (Chuan Lian), Camptotheca (Er Cha), Human waste deposit (Ren Zhong Bai), Borneol (Bing Pian), Mint (Bo He), Phellodendron (Huang Bo); 5 fen of large pearl (Zhen Zhu). Powder finely, mix, store in porcelain bottle airtight.
460. Shen Xian Zao (Divine Date): For chronic toxic sores with deficiency, severe cases. Internal and external use has miraculous effects. 3 jin red dates; 1 liang each of Honeysuckle (Yin Hua) and Angelica sinensis root (Gui Shen); 3 qian Gan Cao; 5 qian each of Silkworm pupa (Jiang Can), Angelica dahurica (Bai Zhi), Frankincense powder (Ru Xiang Mo), Chinese gallnut (Wu Bei Zi), Astragalus (Huang Qi). Decoct in 6 bowls of water until half remains. Decoct again similarly. Total 6 bowls decoction. Remove herbs, keep dates. Decoct again, divide into 4-5 days. Eat dates with soup until fully cured.
External Internal Empirical Formulas - Yang Carbuncle Section
461. Jiang Yong Huo Ming Yin: Treats all nameless swellings, early stage of yin/yang syndromes. Tonifies qi, harmonizes blood, clears toxin, supports interior. Post-rupture: drains pus, removes necrosis, regenerates tissue. Supreme medicine for surgery, superior to Xian Fang Huo Ming Yin. Excellent for postpartum carbuncles. Angelica sinensis (Da Dang Gui) 8 qian, Astragalus (Sheng Huang Qi) 5 qian, Honeysuckle (Jin Yin Hua) 5 qian, Licorice (Gan Cao) 3 qian. Decoct in wine, take concentrated juice. Sleep and sweat to cure. Upper body: add Ligusticum (Chuan Xiong) 2 qian. Middle: add Platycodon (Jie Geng) 2 qian. Lower: add Achyranthes (Niu Xi) 2 qian. Diarrhea: add Atractylodes macrocephala and alba (Cang Bai Zhu) 2 qian each. Vomiting: add Tangerine peel (Chen Pi) and Pinellia (Ban Xia) 1 qian each. Poor appetite: add Atractylodes macrocephala (Bai Zhu) 3 qian, Chen Pi 1 qian. Qi deficiency: add Codonopsis (Dang Shen) and Sheng Huang Qi 5 qian each. Cold abscess (pale flesh): add Chen Pi, Ephedra (Ma Huang) 6 fen, Cinnamon (Rou Gui), Ginger (Pao Jiang) 1.5 qian each. Do not arbitrarily modify. Drain pus: add Bai Zhi 3 qian. About to rupture: add Zao Ci 1.5 qian.
462. Huang Qi Tang: Treats Da Shou, Fa Bei, Dui Kou carbuncles, and all nameless swellings. Disperses unformed; ruptures formed; aids closure of ruptured. Mild: 1 dose. Severe: 2 doses. Transmitted by Daoist, highly effective. Halve dose for children. Contraindicated in pregnancy. Astragalus (Sheng Huang Qi), Angelica sinensis (Gui Shen), Licorice (Gan Cao), White Peony (Bai Shao), Pangolin scales (Chuan Shan Jia) 5 qian each. Upper: add Chuan Xiong. Middle: add Eucommia (Du Zhong). Lower: add Niu Xi 5 qian each. Decoct with 1 cup aged wine and 1 cup water until 1 cup remains. Take hot. Avoid wind, cover warmly, sleep until sweating cures. No hot/cold drinks before sweating. Allowed after sweating starts.
463. Jie Pi Zhu Ru Tang: Treats ruptured sores with stomach fire reversing upward. Frequent hiccups, fever, thirst, dry lips. Heat-type hiccup. Most effective. Tangerine peel (Jie Hong), Bamboo shavings (Zhu Ru) 2 qian each; Ginger (Sheng Jiang), Codonopsis (Dang Shen) 1 qian each; Coptis (Huang Lian) 8 fen; Persimmon calyx (Shi Di) 7. Decoct in water. Take on empty stomach.
464. Mo Feng Gao: Treats wind-heat edema/itching on face/body like insects crawling, dry skin with white scales. Later severe itching, scratching causes yellow fluid/blood, unbearable pain. Apply for 10 days for full cure. Repeatedly effective. First formula for wind-heat itching. Ephedra (Ma Huang) 5 qian, Notopterygium (Qiang Huo) 1 liang, Cimicifuga (Sheng Ma) 2 qian; Sandalwood (Bai Tan Xiang), Bletilla (Bai Ji), Saposhnikovia (Fang Feng), Angelica sinensis (Gui Shen) 2 qian each. Soak in 5 liang sesame oil for 5 days. Slowly boil until crisp, strain. Add Clam shell (Hua Ge) 5 qian, boil briefly, cool to remove fire toxicity.
464. Er Wei Ba Du San: Treats all venomous insect bites. Stops swelling/pain/itching instantly. Miracle effect. Realgar (Xiong Huang) and Alum (Ku Fan) equal parts, powder. Wash with ginger juice, mix with tea, apply.
