773.鸡鸣散：治脚气第一品药。不问男女皆可服。如或风湿流注。脚痛不可忍，筋脉浮肿者，并宜服。其效如神。槟榔七枚 桔红 木瓜各一两 吴萸 苏叶各三钱 桔梗 生姜各五钱 水三碗煎一碗，候冷服之。天明当下黑粪水。早饭时必痛住肿消。
774.近效白术汤：治风虚头重眩苦极不知食味，暖肌补中益精气。即术附汤减半加炙草一钱半 生姜二片 大枣二枚，水煎服。（白术五钱 附子二钱半）
775.参附 术附 芪附三方合括歌。阴盛阳虚汗自流，肾阳脱汗参附求（人参一两 附子五钱）；脾阳遏郁术和附（白术一两 附子五钱），若是卫阳芪附投（黄芪一两 附子五钱）。
776.三生饮：治卒中昏不知人，口眼歪斜，半身不遂，并痰厥阴厥。生附子 生南星 生川乌各去皮各五钱 木香二钱 参一两另煎冲药 调服风痰卒倒效神灵。
777.益元汤：治阴盛格阳之证，面赤口渴，欲卧于泥水之中，为外热内寒乃热因寒药，为引用也。此白通加人尿猪胆之变方也。蕲艾叶 炮附子 北干姜 麦冬 五味子 知母 黄连 人参 炙草 葱白 童便 水煎服。
778.百合汤：治心口痛，服诸热药不效者，亦属气痛。百合一两 乌药三钱 水煎服。
779.丹参饮：治心痛胃腕诸痛多效，妇人更效。丹参一两 白檀香 缩砂仁各一钱 水煎服。
780.金铃子散：治心腹痛，及肋痛等症。脉洪数，及服热药而增痛者如神。元胡索 金铃子等分 捣末清酒调服。
781.左金丸：治肝脏实火，左肋下痛或吐酸水。黄连六两 吴茱萸十一两 为末炼蜜为丸。
782.香连丸治赤白痢：黄连二十两 吴茱萸十两 木香五两 研末醋糊丸，空心米汤下。
783.萆薢分清饮：治遗精，白浊，急淋等症。乌药 益智仁 石菖蒲 萆薢各三钱 甘草一钱半 煎成加盐少许频服。
784.斗门密传方：治毒痢脏腑撮痛脓血赤白，或下血片。日夜无度，及噤口恶痢，他药不能治者。立见神效。黑豆一两半 干姜四钱 炙地榆六钱 甘草六钱 白芍三钱 罂粟壳八钱 水煎服。
785.脾约丸：治脏腑不和，津液偏渗于膀胱，以致小便多，大便秘结者。白芍 火麻仁 杏仁 枳实 厚朴 各五钱 大黄一两 炼蜜为丸，如桐子大，白汤送下。大便利即止。
786.防风通圣散：风热壅盛，表里三焦皆实乃发表攻里并用法。大黄 朴硝 荆芥 麻黄 山栀 白芍 连翘 甘草 桔梗 川芎 当归 石膏 滑石 薄荷 结茯苓 白术 葱姜 水煎服。
787.越鞠丸：治脏腑一切痰，食。气。血诸郁为痛，为胀，为利者。六郁宜施越鞠丸。芎苍曲附并栀养，食停气血湿痰火，得此调和顷刻安。香附（气） 抚芎（血） 苍术（湿） 栀子（火） 神曲（食） 麦芽煎汤泛丸。湿加茯苓 白芷，火加青黛，痰加南星半夏 瓜蒌 海石。血加桃仁 红花，气加木香 槟榔，食加麦芽山楂，挟寒加吴茱萸。
788.稀涎汤：治风痰不下，喉中如牵锯，或中湿肿满。皂角一个 大半夏十四枚 炙草一钱 白矾二钱为末每服一钱。生姜少许。温水冲灌，得吐痰涎即醒。此夺门之兵也。风初中时宜之。
790.五积散：治感冒寒邪，头疼、身痛、项背拘急，恶寒呕吐、肚腹疼痛及寒湿客于经络，腰脚骨髓酸痛及痘疮寒胜等症，本方去麻黄，酒水同煎。治痢后鹤膝风甚效。当归 麻黄 苍术 陈皮各一钱 厚朴 干姜 芍药 枳壳各八分 半夏 白芷各七分 桔梗 炙草 茯苓 肉桂 人参各五分 川芎四分 姜葱少许，水煎服。
791.地黄饮子：治舌喑不能言，足废不能行，此谓少阴气厥不至急当温之。名曰痱证。肉桂 附子 肉苁蓉 茯苓 熟地 麦冬 五味子 远志 石菖蒲 山茱萸 巴戟天 石斛各五钱分 薄荷七片 水煎服。
792.小续命汤：六经中风之通剂。如六经中风歪斜不遂语言涩謇及刚柔二痉，亦治厥阴风湿等症。防风一钱 桂枝 麻黄 酒芍 人参 杏仁 川芎 黄芩 防己 甘草各八分 附子四分 姜枣煎服。
793.资寿解语汤：治中风脾缓舌强不语，半身不遂与地黄饮子同意。但彼重在肾，此重在脾。羌活五分 防风 附子 羚羊角 酸枣仁 天麻各一钱 肉桂八分 甘草五分 竹沥五钱 生姜汁二钱调服。治肾气不荣于舌，加枸杞 首乌 天冬 菊花 石菖蒲 元参 甚效。羚羊角一味妙甚。
794.升麻葛根汤：治阳明表热下利，兼治痘疹初发。升麻三钱 葛根 芍药各二钱 炙草一钱 水煎服。
795.香苏饮：治四时感冒发表轻剂。紫苏叶二钱 炒香附 陈皮各一钱五分 炙草一钱 加姜葱 水煎服。
796.人参败毒散：治伤寒瘟疫，风湿，风眩，拘挛，风痰头痛目眩，四肢痛。憎寒壮热。项强睛疼。老人小儿皆可服。人参 茯苓 枳壳 桔梗 柴胡 前胡 羌活 独活 川芎各一钱甘草五分 加生姜煎服。口干烦热加黄芩。
797.大补阴丸：降阴火，补肾水，凡阴虚发热最宜。黄柏 知母各四两俱用盐酒炒 熟地龟板各六两为末。猪脊髓蒸熟和末炼蜜为丸。空心姜汤盐汤酒均可，随意送下。
798.黑锡丹：治脾元久冷，上实下虚，胸中痰饮，或上攻头目及奔豚上气，两肋膨胀 并阴阳气不升降，五种水气、脚气上攻。或卒暴中。风痰潮上膈等症。黑锡 硫磺各三两同研炒无声为度 胡芦巴 沉香 熟附子 肉桂各五钱 茴香 破故纸 肉豆蔻 金铃子 木香各一两 研末酒煮面糊丸桐子大。姜汤下。
799.二加龙骨汤：治虚劳不足，男子失精，女子梦交，吐血，下利清糓，浮热汗出，夜不成寐等症。即桂枝汤拿过加龙骨牡蛎各三钱水煎服。一方去桂枝加白薇 附子 亦效。
800.归脾汤：治思虑伤脾不能摄血，致血妄行或健忘怔忡，惊悸 盗汗 嗜卧少食或大便不调，心脾疼痛，疟痢郁结或因病用药失宜克伐伤脾，以致变症者最宜之。白术炙芪 茯神各二钱 人参 酸枣仁 炒研各二钱 远志 木香各五分 炙草一钱 当归二钱 龙眼肉五枚水煎服。
801.桃花汤：少阴病下利，便脓血者。少阴病四五日腹痛小便不利下利不止，便脓血此汤主之。赤石脂一两 干姜二钱 粳米五钱水煎服。
802.麻黄连翘赤小豆汤：伤寒瘀热在里，身必发黄，此主之。麻黄 连翘 赤小豆 梓白皮 甘草 生姜 大枣水煎服。
803.小青龙汤：伤寒表不解，心下有水气，干呕、发热而咳或渴或利或噎或小便不利，少腹满或喘者。麻黄 芍药 细辛 干姜 甘草 桂枝 五味子 半夏 先煮麻黄去沫，水煎服。
804.大青龙汤：治太阳中风，脉浮紧，发热恶寒，身疼痛，不汗出二烦躁者主之。若脉微弱，汗出恶风者不可服。服之则厥逆筋惕肉膶此为逆也。麻黄 杏仁 甘草 石膏 桂枝 生姜 大枣 水煎服。
805.杨氏少还丹：治脾胃俱虚，饮食无味，面少精采，腰膝无力，梦遗或少年阳痿等症。山萸肉 山药 茯苓 熟地 杜仲 牛膝 肉苁蓉 楮实子 小茴香 巴戟天 枸杞子 远志 石菖蒲 五味子各二两 红枣百粒，姜煮去皮核，炼蜜为丸。梧子大。每服三钱 盐汤下。此交通心肾之方也。
806.风引汤：除热瘫痪，巢氏云脚气宜此汤主之。大黄 干姜 龙骨各四两 桂枝三两 甘草牡蛎各二两 寒水石 滑石 赤石脂 白石脂 紫石英 石膏 各六两 合研筛末井水煎服。此乃脏腑之热，非草木之品所能散，故以金石重药清其里。
807.黄土汤：治下血先便后血，此远血也。甘草 熟地 白术 炮附 阿胶 黄芩各三钱 灶中土八钱 水煎温服。
808.赤小豆当归散：治下血先血后便，此近血也。（上方赤石脂易黄土，炮姜易附子，加侧柏叶四两 竹茹半斤）。赤小豆五钱 当归三钱 水煎服。
809.牛角腮灰散：治卒下血。黄牛腮一具烧赤色为末，煮豆豉汁和二钱服。重者日三。
810.猪臟丸：治大人小儿大便下血，日久多食易饥，腹不痛里不急，先用海螵蛸炙黄去皮白者为末 木贼草煎汤调下，三日后效，后用黄连二两 嫩猪臟二尺去肥，以黄连塞满猪脏扎两头煮十分烂。研细添糕糊丸。桐子大。每服三十丸。米饮下。
811.解毒活血汤：凡时疫初起服之最良。葛根 柴胡 连翘 生地 当归 赤芍 桃仁 川朴 甘草 西藏红花各等分。水煎服。
812.苦参白术散：治渴泻。薏苡仁 桔梗 山药 莲子肉 砂仁 扁豆壳 合四君子汤煎服。
813.七味白术散：治渴泻。藿香 干葛根 木香 合四君子汤煎服。加冥蛉土三钱更妙。
814.瘟疫良方：无论已传未传阴症阳症皆可服之。金银花三钱 生甘草二钱 好黄土五钱 炒黑豆五钱 白矾二钱 水煎服。
815.华氏大建中汤：辛甘化阳法。人参 桂心 归身 川椒 炙草 白芍 茯苓 饴糖 兰枣 干姜 水煎服。
816.华氏加减小建中汤：人参 归身 桂枝 白芍 兰枣 生姜 干姜 水煎服。
817.神仙九气汤：治水肿肤胀如神。姜黄 香附 为末每服六钱空心盐汤下。
818.导水茯苓汤：治水肿头手足遍身肿如烂瓜之状，按而塌陷，腹满，喘，不能转测安睡，饮食不下。小便秘濇，溺出如割，或如豆汁，而绝少服。喘咳气逆，诸药不效者，用此渐利而愈。光泽泻 赤苓 麦冬 白术 每件各三两 桑白皮 紫苏叶 槟榔 木瓜各一两 大腹皮 陈皮 砂仁 木香各三钱半 灯草三十根 煎八分，食远服。病重者可用五六两，浓煎五更服。
819.麻黄甘草汤：此方上宣肺气，中助土气，外行水气，其功居于济生之上。且水从汗出，不怕亡阳。麻黄三钱 甘草一钱 水煎服。
820.连理丸：治腹胀如箕，时吐酸水者，又治久泄泻如神。人参 苍术 干姜 川连 炙草 蜜丸米汤下甚效。
821.吴氏还原饮：治疫疟。槟榔 厚朴 草果 知母 黄芩 芍药 甘草 水煎服。
822.瘴疟良方：芳香化浊法，治岚瘴毒疟如神。藿香 佩兰 陈皮 半夏 腹皮 厚朴 鲜荷叶 水煎服。
823.又方。宣窍导痰，治痰热昏迷之疟最良。远志肉 石菖蒲 杏仁 瓜蒌 僵蚕 皂角炭 天竺黄各等分，水煎服。
824.龙牡救逆汤：治汗多厥脱之疟。龙骨 牡蛎 炙草 大枣 桂枝 生姜 常山 水煎服。
825.邪疟俗名鬼疟良方。用驱邪避祟法。龙骨 茯苓 苍术 木香 柏子仁 石菖蒲 桃叶 雄黄少许 水煎服。
826.温疟良方治寒湿疟。藿香 白蔻 神曲 厚朴 陈皮 苍术 草果 薏苡仁 水煎服。
827.暑疟良方：用清凉涤暑法。甘滑石 甘草 青蒿 扁豆 连翘 茯苓 通草 西瓜翠衣 水煎服。又方：治温暑伏，少阳经血分之疟。青蒿 桑叶 丹皮 花粉 鳖甲 知母 水煎服。
828.温疟良方用桂枝白虎汤。石膏 知母 甘草 粳米 桂枝木 水煎服。又方：清凉透邪法，亦治温疟。芦根 石膏 连翘 竹叶 豆豉 绿豆衣 水煎服。
829.瘅疟良方用清热生津法。但热不寒为瘅疟。天花粉 石膏 知母 沙参 洋参 生地 石斛 麦冬 甘草 蔗汁 梨汁 水煎服。
830.银菊散：治白痢之清剂也。银花三钱 白菊三钱 连翘二钱 白芍三钱 杏仁三钱 桔梗三钱 栀子二钱 木香一钱 牛蒡子三钱 甘草一钱 水煎服。有宿食加清宁丸一钱更妙。
831.白虎汤：治白痢，烦躁、口渴、潮热、下白脓连绵不已。生石膏三钱 煅石膏三钱 甘草一钱 粳米三钱 知母二钱 再加黄芩三钱 白芍三钱 杏仁三钱 桔梗二钱 厚朴二钱 水煎服。外寒加荆芥 葛根，小便不利加桑白皮 甘滑石。
832.白头翁汤：治红痢。白头翁五钱 黄柏三钱 黄连三钱 秦皮三钱 加杏仁三钱 槟榔二钱 当归三钱 地榆三钱 赤芍二钱 荆芥一钱 生地三钱 青蒿二钱 甘草一钱 水煎服。
833.霹雳散：治痢症，胀闭有宿食，发呕等症。生大黄一钱 黄连二钱 黄芩三钱 吴萸一钱 水煎服。
834.大承气汤：治奇恒痢。生大黄二钱 厚朴二钱 枳壳一钱 芒硝三钱 水煎服。后进金银花汤。
835.三黄酒：治痢症发呕吐者。黄连一钱 黄芩三钱 生大黄二钱 用好烧酒煎服。徐咽呕止勿服。
836.救胃煎：治噤口不食之痢疾。生地三钱 白芍三钱 川连三钱 黄芩三钱 玉竹三钱 花粉三钱 杏仁三钱 桔梗二钱 石膏四钱 麦冬三钱 枳壳八钱 厚朴一钱 甘草一钱 水煎服。
837.开噤汤：治噤口不食之痢疾。潞党参三钱 麦冬三钱 天冬三钱 石膏三钱 栀子二钱 黄芩一钱 黄柏一钱 生地一钱 白芍三钱 当归三钱 射干二钱 杏仁三钱 槟榔一钱 枳壳一钱 甘草一钱 花粉二钱 白头翁三钱 水煎服。服后生津进食，除肠胃之炎症，力量周到妙方也。
773. 鸡鸣散：这是治疗脚气病的第一流药物。无论男女都可以服用。如果有风湿之邪流注于肢体，导致脚部疼痛难以忍受，或者筋脉浮肿的情况，都适宜服用。其疗效神奇。槟榔七枚，桔红、木瓜各一两，吴茱萸、苏叶各三钱，桔梗、生姜各五钱。用水三碗煎至一碗，待冷却后服用。天亮时会排出黑色粪便和水样物。吃早饭时疼痛必然停止，肿胀消退。
774. 近效白术汤：治疗因风虚引起的头部沉重、眩晕痛苦至极、不知食物味道，以及温暖肌肉、补益中气、增益精气。即术附汤减半，加入炙甘草一钱半、生姜两片、大枣两枚，用水煎服。（白术五钱，附子二钱半）
775. 参附、术附、芪附三方概括歌诀。阴盛阳虚导致汗液自流，肾阳脱失之汗需寻求参附汤（人参一两，附子五钱）；脾阳被遏郁结需用白术配合附子（白术一两，附子五钱）；若是卫阳不足则投用黄芪配合附子（黄芪一两，附子五钱）。
776. 三生饮：治疗卒中昏迷不省人事，口眼歪斜，半身不遂，以及痰厥和阴厥。生附子、生南星、生川乌各去皮五钱，木香二钱，人参一两另煎冲入药汁调服。治疗风痰突然昏倒，疗效如神灵一般。
777. 益元汤：治疗阴盛格阳的证候，表现为面部发红、口渴，想要躺在泥水中，这是外热内寒的表现，属于“热因寒用”的方法，以寒药作为引经药。这是白通加人尿猪胆汤的变方。蕲艾叶、炮附子、北干姜、麦冬、五味子、知母、黄连、人参、炙甘草、葱白、童便，用水煎服。
778. 百合汤：治疗心口疼痛，服用各种热性药物无效者，这也属于气痛。百合一两，乌药三钱，用水煎服。
779. 丹参饮：治疗心痛及胃脘部的各种疼痛，大多有效，对妇女尤其有效。丹参一两，白檀香、缩砂仁各一钱，用水煎服。
780. 金铃子散：治疗心腹疼痛，以及胁肋疼痛等症状。脉象洪数，以及服用热性药物后疼痛加剧者，疗效如神。延胡索、金铃子等分，捣成粉末，用清酒调服。
781. 左金丸：治疗肝脏实火，左侧胁下疼痛或呕吐酸水。黄连六两，吴茱萸十一两，研为粉末，炼蜜制成丸剂。
782. 香连丸治疗赤白痢疾：黄连二十两，吴茱萸十两，木香五两，研为粉末，用醋糊制成丸剂，空腹时用米汤送服。
783. 萆薢分清饮：治疗遗精、白浊、急淋等症状。乌药、益智仁、石菖蒲、萆薢各三钱，甘草一钱半，煎好后加入少许盐，频繁服用。
784. 斗门密传方：治疗毒痢导致的脏腑撮痛、脓血赤白，或者下血成片。日夜无度，以及噤口恶痢，其他药物不能治疗的。立见神效。黑豆一两半，干姜四钱，炙地榆六钱，甘草六钱，白芍三钱，罂粟壳八钱，用水煎服。
785. 脾约丸：治疗脏腑不和，津液偏渗于膀胱，导致小便多，大便秘结的情况。白芍、火麻仁、杏仁、枳实、厚朴各五钱，大黄一两，炼蜜制成丸剂，大小如梧桐子，用白开水送下。大便通畅后即停药。
786. 防风通圣散：风热壅盛，表里三焦皆实证，采用发表攻里的并用法。大黄、朴硝、荆芥、麻黄、山栀、白芍、连翘、甘草、桔梗、川芎、当归、石膏、滑石、薄荷、茯苓、白术、生姜、葱白，用水煎服。
787. 越鞠丸：治疗脏腑一切痰、食、气、血诸郁引起的疼痛、胀满、泄利等症。六郁宜施用越鞠丸。“芎苍曲附并栀养，食停气血湿痰火，得此调和顷刻安。”香附（治气）、抚芎（治血）、苍术（治湿）、栀子（治火）、神曲（治食），用麦芽煎汤泛丸。湿重加茯苓、白芷，火重加青黛，痰多加南星、半夏、瓜蒌、海浮石。血瘀加桃仁、红花，气滞加木香、槟榔，食积加麦芽、山楂，挟寒加吴茱萸。
788. 稀涎汤：治疗风痰不下，喉中声音如拉锯，或者中湿肿满。皂角一个，大半夏十四枚，炙甘草一钱，白矾二钱，研为粉末，每次服用一钱。加少许生姜，用温水冲灌，吐出痰涎后即可苏醒。这是夺门而出的猛兵。中风初起时适宜使用。
789. 通关散：细辛、皂角，研为粉末吹入鼻中，打喷嚏即可生还。
790. 五积散：治疗感冒寒邪，头痛、身痛、项背拘急，恶寒呕吐、肚腹疼痛，以及寒湿客于经络，腰脚骨髓酸痛，以及痘疮寒胜等症状。本方去掉麻黄，酒水同煎。治疗痢疾后出现的鹤膝风非常有效。当归、麻黄、苍术、陈皮各一钱，厚朴、干姜、芍药、枳壳各八分，半夏、白芷各七分，桔梗、炙甘草、茯苓、肉桂、人参各五分，川芎四分，生姜、葱白少许，用水煎服。
791. 地黄饮子：治疗舌喑不能说话，足废不能行走，这称为少阴气厥不至，应当紧急温补。名为痱证。肉桂、附子、肉苁蓉、茯苓、熟地黄、麦冬、五味子、远志、石菖蒲、山茱萸、巴戟天、石斛各五钱，薄荷七片，用水煎服。
792. 小续命汤：治疗六经中风的通用方剂。如六经中风出现歪斜不遂、语言涩謇，以及刚柔二痉，也治疗厥阴风湿等症状。防风一钱，桂枝、麻黄、酒芍、人参、杏仁、川芎、黄芩、防己、甘草各八分，附子四分，生姜、大枣煎服。
793. 资寿解语汤：治疗中风脾缓、舌强不语、半身不遂，与地黄饮子意旨相同。但地黄饮子重在补肾，此方重在补脾。羌活五分，防风、附子、羚羊角、酸枣仁、天麻各一钱，肉桂八分，甘草五分，竹沥五钱，生姜汁二钱调服。治疗肾气不能荣润于舌，加枸杞、首乌、天冬、菊花、石菖蒲、玄参，效果很好。单用羚羊角也非常妙。
794. 升麻葛根汤：治疗阳明表热引起的下利，兼治痘疹初发。升麻三钱，葛根、芍药各二钱，炙甘草一钱，用水煎服。
795. 香苏饮：治疗四季感冒的轻宣发表方剂。紫苏叶二钱，炒香附、陈皮各一钱五分，炙甘草一钱，加生姜、葱白，用水煎服。
796. 人参败毒散：治疗伤寒瘟疫，风湿，风眩，拘挛，风痰头痛目眩，四肢疼痛，憎寒壮热，项强睛疼。老人小儿皆可服用。人参、茯苓、枳壳、桔梗、柴胡、前胡、羌活、独活、川芎各一钱，甘草五分，加生姜煎服。口干烦热加黄芩。
797. 大补阴丸：降阴火，补肾水，凡是阴虚发热最适宜。黄柏、知母各四两，均用盐酒炒制，熟地黄、龟板各六两，研为粉末。用猪脊髓蒸熟混合粉末，炼蜜制成丸剂。空腹时用姜汤、盐汤或酒送下，随意选择。
798. 黑锡丹：治疗脾元久冷，上实下虚，胸中痰饮，或者上攻头目及奔豚上气，两肋膨胀，以及阴阳气不升降，五种水气、脚气上攻。或者突然中风，风痰潮上膈等症状。黑锡、硫磺各三两，共同研磨炒至无声为止，胡芦巴、沉香、熟附子、肉桂各五钱，茴香、破故纸、肉豆蔻、金铃子、木香各一两，研为粉末，用酒煮面糊制成梧桐子大小的丸剂。用姜汤送服。
799. 二加龙骨汤：治疗虚劳不足，男子失精，女子梦交，吐血，下利清谷，浮热汗出，夜间不能入睡等症状。即桂枝汤加上龙骨、牡蛎各三钱，用水煎服。另一法去掉桂枝，加白薇、附子，也有效。
800. 归脾汤：治疗思虑伤脾，不能摄血，导致血液妄行，或者健忘怔忡，惊悸，盗汗，嗜卧少食，或者大便不调，心脾疼痛，疟痢郁结，或者因病用药失宜克伐伤脾，以致产生变症的情况，最适合使用。白术、炙黄芪、茯神各二钱，人参、酸枣仁（炒研）各二钱，远志、木香各五分，炙甘草一钱，当归二钱，龙眼肉五枚，用水煎服。
801. 桃花汤：少阴病下利，便脓血的。少阴病四五日腹痛，小便不利，下利不止，便脓血，此汤主治。赤石脂一两，干姜二钱，粳米五钱，用水煎服。
802. 麻黄连翘赤小豆汤：伤寒瘀热在体内，身体必定发黄，此汤主治。麻黄、连翘、赤小豆、梓白皮、甘草、生姜、大枣，用水煎服。
803. 小青龙汤：伤寒表证不解，心下有停饮，干呕、发热而咳，或者渴，或者下利，或者噎塞，或者小便不利，少腹胀满，或者喘息的。麻黄、芍药、细辛、干姜、甘草、桂枝、五味子、半夏。先煮麻黄去沫，用水煎服。
804. 大青龙汤：治疗太阳中风，脉浮紧，发热恶寒，身体疼痛，无汗且烦躁者，以此为主治。如果脉微弱，汗出恶风者不可服用。服用则会导致四肢厥逆，筋惕肉瞤，这是误治。麻黄、杏仁、甘草、石膏、桂枝、生姜、大枣，用水煎服。
805. 杨氏少还丹：治疗脾胃俱虚，饮食无味，面色缺乏神采，腰膝无力，梦遗或少年阳痿等症状。山萸肉、山药、茯苓、熟地黄、杜仲、牛膝、肉苁蓉、楮实子、小茴香、巴戟天、枸杞子、远志、石菖蒲、五味子各二两，红枣一百粒，用姜煮去皮核，炼蜜制成丸剂。梧桐子大小。每次服用三钱，用盐汤送下。这是交通心肾的方剂。
806. 风引汤：清除热邪引起的瘫痪，巢元方说脚气病适宜用此汤主治。大黄、干姜、龙骨各四两，桂枝三两，甘草、牡蛎各二两，寒水石、滑石、赤石脂、白石脂、紫石英、石膏各六两，合研筛末，井水煎服。这是脏腑的热邪，不是草木类药物所能消散的，所以用金石重镇药物来清泻里热。
807. 黄土汤：治疗下血先排便后出血，这是远血。甘草、熟地黄、白术、炮附子、阿胶、黄芩各三钱，灶心土八钱，用水煎温服。
808. 赤小豆当归散：治疗下血先出血后排便，这是近血。（上方赤石脂换为灶心土，炮姜换为附子，加侧柏叶四两、竹茹半斤）。赤小豆五钱，当归三钱，用水煎服。
809. 牛角腮灰散：治疗突然下血。黄牛腮一副烧至红色研为粉末，煮豆豉汁调和二钱服用。重症者每日三次。
810. 猪脏丸：治疗大人小孩大便下血，日久多食易饥，腹部不痛，里没有急迫感。先用海螵蛸炙黄去皮研为粉末，木贼草煎汤调服，三天后见效。后用黄连二两，嫩猪脏二尺去掉肥油，将黄连塞满猪脏扎紧两头煮十分烂。研细添加糕糊制成丸剂。梧桐子大小。每次服用三十丸。用米饮送下。
811. 解毒活血汤：凡是时疫初起服用最为良好。葛根、柴胡、连翘、生地、当归、赤芍、桃仁、川朴、甘草、西藏红花各等分。用水煎服。
812. 苦参白术散：治疗渴泻。薏苡仁、桔梗、山药、莲子肉、砂仁、扁豆壳，合四君子汤煎服。
813. 七味白术散：治疗渴泻。藿香、干葛根、木香，合四君子汤煎服。加冥蛉土三钱更妙。
814. 瘟疫良方：无论是否已传变，阴症阳症皆可服用。金银花三钱，生甘草二钱，好黄土五钱，炒黑豆五钱，白矾二钱，用水煎服。
815. 华氏大建中汤：辛甘化阳法。人参、桂心、归身、川椒、炙甘草、白芍、茯苓、饴糖、兰枣、干姜，用水煎服。
816. 华氏加减小建中汤：人参、归身、桂枝、白芍、兰枣、生姜、干姜，用水煎服。
817. 神仙九气汤：治疗水肿肤胀如神。姜黄、香附，研为粉末，每次服用六钱，空腹用盐汤送服。
818. 导水茯苓汤：治疗水肿头手足遍身肿如烂瓜之状，按压塌陷，腹部胀满，喘息，不能转身安睡，饮食不下。小便短少涩滞，排尿如割裂感，或者如豆汁，而且极少服用。喘息咳嗽气逆，诸药无效者，用此方逐渐利尿而痊愈。泽泻、赤茯苓、麦冬、白术，每件各三两，桑白皮、紫苏叶、槟榔、木瓜各一两，大腹皮、陈皮、砂仁、木香各三钱半，灯草三十根，煎至八分，饭后服用。病重者可用五六两，浓煎在五更时分服用。
819. 麻黄甘草汤：此方上宣肺气，中助土气，外行水气，其功效居于济生千璧汤之上。且水从汗出，不怕亡阳。麻黄三钱，甘草一钱，用水煎服。
820. 连理丸：治疗腹胀如箕，时常呕吐酸水者，又治疗久泄泻如神。人参、苍术、干姜、川连、炙甘草，蜜丸米汤送服，效果很好。
821. 吴氏还原饮：治疗疫疟。槟榔、厚朴、草果、知母、黄芩、芍药、甘草，用水煎服。
822. 瘴疟良方：芳香化浊法，治疗岚瘴毒疟如神。藿香、佩兰、陈皮、半夏、腹皮、厚朴、鲜荷叶，用水煎服。
823. 又方。宣窍导痰，治疗痰热昏迷之疟最良。远志肉、石菖蒲、杏仁、瓜蒌、僵蚕、皂角炭、天竺黄各等分，用水煎服。
824. 龙牡救逆汤：治疗汗多厥脱之疟。龙骨、牡蛎、炙甘草、大枣、桂枝、生姜、常山，用水煎服。
825. 邪疟俗名鬼疟良方。用驱邪避祟法。龙骨、茯苓、苍术、木香、柏子仁、石菖蒲、桃叶、雄黄少许，用水煎服。
826. 温疟良方治疗寒湿疟。藿香、白蔻、神曲、厚朴、陈皮、苍术、草果、薏苡仁，用水煎服。
827. 暑疟良方：用清凉涤暑法。甘滑石、甘草、青蒿、扁豆、连翘、茯苓、通草、西瓜翠衣，用水煎服。又方：治疗温暑伏邪，少阳经血分之疟。青蒿、桑叶、丹皮、花粉、鳖甲、知母，用水煎服。
828. 温疟良方用桂枝白虎汤。石膏、知母、甘草、粳米、桂枝木，用水煎服。又方：清凉透邪法，也治疗温疟。芦根、石膏、连翘、竹叶、豆豉、绿豆衣，用水煎服。
829. 瘅疟良方用清热生津法。但热不寒为瘅疟。天花粉、石膏、知母、沙参、洋参、生地、石斛、麦冬、甘草、蔗汁、梨汁，用水煎服。
830. 银菊散：治疗白痢的清剂。银花三钱，白菊三钱，连翘二钱，白芍三钱，杏仁三钱，桔梗三钱，栀子二钱，木香一钱，牛蒡子三钱，甘草一钱，用水煎服。有宿食加清宁丸一钱更妙。
831. 白虎汤：治疗白痢，烦躁、口渴、潮热、下白脓连绵不已。生石膏三钱，煅石膏三钱，甘草一钱，粳米三钱，知母二钱，再加黄芩三钱，白芍三钱，杏仁三钱，桔梗二钱，厚朴二钱，用水煎服。外寒加荆芥、葛根，小便不利加桑白皮、甘滑石。
832. 白头翁汤：治疗红痢。白头翁五钱，黄柏三钱，黄连三钱，秦皮三钱，加杏仁三钱，槟榔二钱，当归三钱，地榆三钱，赤芍二钱，荆芥一钱，生地三钱，青蒿二钱，甘草一钱，用水煎服。
833. 霹雳散：治疗痢症，胀闭有宿食，发呕等症状。生大黄一钱，黄连二钱，黄芩三钱，吴茱萸一钱，用水煎服。
834. 大承气汤：治疗奇恒痢。生大黄二钱，厚朴二钱，枳壳一钱，芒硝三钱，用水煎服。后进金银花汤。
835. 三黄酒：治疗痢症发呕吐者。黄连一钱，黄芩三钱，生大黄二钱，用好烧酒煎服。慢慢咽下，呕止勿服。
836. 救胃煎：治疗噤口不食之痢疾。生地三钱，白芍三钱，川连三钱，黄芩三钱，玉竹三钱，花粉三钱，杏仁三钱，桔梗二钱，石膏四钱，麦冬三钱，枳壳八钱，厚朴一钱，甘草一钱，用水煎服。
837. 开噤汤：治疗噤口不食之痢疾。潞党参三钱，麦冬三钱，天冬三钱，石膏三钱，栀子二钱，黄芩一钱，黄柏一钱，生地一钱，白芍三钱，当归三钱，射干二钱，杏仁三钱，槟榔一钱，枳壳一钱，甘草一钱，花粉二钱，白头翁三钱，用水煎服。服后生津进食，除肠胃之炎症，力量周到妙方也。
773. Jiming San (Cockcrow Powder): This is the premier remedy for treating Jiaqi disease (foot qi, a condition characterized by swelling and pain in the legs). It can be taken by both men and women. If wind-dampness flows into the limbs causing unbearable foot pain or edema of the sinews and vessels, it is suitable for use. Its efficacy is miraculous. Seven areca nuts (Betel Nut), one tael each of Tangerine Peel (Citrus reticulata) and Papaya (Chaenomeles speciosa), three qian each of Evodia Fruit (Evodia rutaecarpa) and Perilla Leaf (Perilla frutescens), five qian each of Platycodon Root (Platycodon grandiflorus) and Fresh Ginger (Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens). Decoct with three bowls of water until one bowl remains. Take when cool. By dawn, black stool and watery discharge will occur. Pain will cease and swelling will subside by breakfast time.
774. Jinxiao Baizhu Tang (Near-Efficacy Atractylodes Macrocephala Decoction): Treats severe dizziness and heaviness of the head due to wind-deficiency, loss of taste, warming the muscles, tonifying the middle jiao, and benefiting essence and qi. It is Shu Fu Tang halved, plus one-and-a-half qian of Honey-fried Licorice Root (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma), two slices of Fresh Ginger (Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens), and two dates. Effective for sudden collapse due to wind-phlegm.
777. Yiyuan Tang (Benefiting Origin Decoction): Treats the syndrome of Yin excess repelling Yang, characterized by red face, thirst, and a desire to lie in mud or water. 778. Baihe Tang (Lily Decoction): Treats heart-region pain unresponsive to various hot medicines, also belonging to Qi pain. One tael of Lily Bulb (Baihe, Lilii Bulbus), three qian of Litsea Root (Wuyao, Linderae Radix). Decoct with water.
779. Danshen Yin (Salvia Miltiorrhiza Decoction): Highly effective for heart pain and epigastric pain, especially in women. One tael of Salvia Miltiorrhiza Root (Danshen, Salviae Miltiorrhizae Radix), one qian each of White Sandalwood (Bantanxiang, Santalum Album Lignum) and Cardamom Seed (Suosharen, Amomi Fructus Rotundus). Decoct with water.
780. Jinlingzi San (Melia Toosendan Powder): Treats heart and abdominal pain, as well as hypochondriac pain. Miraculous for rapid pulse and increased pain after taking hot medicines. Equal parts of Corydalis Rhizome (Yanhusuo, Corydzalis Rhizoma) and Melia Toosendan Fruit (Jinlingzi, Toosendan Fructus). Pound into powder, mix with clear wine, and take.
781. Zuojin Wan (Left Metal Pill): Treats Liver Organ Excess Fire, causing pain under the left hypochondrium or acid regurgitation. Six taels of Coptis Rhizome (Huanglian, Coptidis Rhizoma), eleven taels of Evodia Fruit (Wuzhuyu, Evodiae Fructus). Pound into powder, make pills with refined honey.
782. Xianglian Wan (Costus and Coptis Pill) for Red and White Dysentery: Twenty taels of Coptis Rhizome (Huanglian, Coptidis Rhizoma), ten taels of Evodia Fruit (Wuzhuyu, Evodiae Fructus), five taels of Costus Root (Muxiang, Aucklandiae Radix). Pound into powder, make pills with vinegar paste. Take on an empty stomach with rice gruel.
783. Bixie Fenqing Yin (Dioscorea Hypoglauca Clearing Turbid Decoction): Treats spermatorrhea, leukorrhea, and acute strangury. Uses simultaneous releasing of exterior and purging of interior. Use malt decoction to coat pills. One soap pod, fourteen large Pinellia Tubers (Banxia, Pinelliae Rhizoma), one qian of Honey-fried Licorice Root (Zhi Gancao, Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma), two qian of Alum (Baifan, Alumina). Pound into powder, take one qian per dose. Add a little fresh ginger. Mix with warm water and administer. Awakening occurs upon expectoration of phlegm and saliva. This is like a storming force. Suitable for early stage of wind-stroke.
789. Tongguan San (Passing Obstruction Powder): Fine powder of Asarum Root (Xixin, Asari Radix et Rhizoma) and Soap Pod (Zaofei, Gleditsiae Fructus). Snuff into nose. Life is saved upon sneezing.

Wuji San (Five Accumulations Powder): Treats cold pathogen invasion from external contraction, headache, body ache, stiffness of neck and back, aversion to cold, vomiting, abdominal pain, cold-damp invading collaterals causing soreness and pain in waist, legs, and bones, and cold dominance in chickenpox. Similar intent to Dihuang Yin but focuses on Spleen rather than Kidney. 795. Xiangsu Yin (Costus and Perilla Decoction): Light formula for releasing exterior in seasonal colds. Two qian of Perilla Leaf (Zisu Ye, Perillae Folium); one-and-a-half qian each of Stir-fried Cyperus Rhizome (Chao Xiangfu, Cyperi Rhizoma) and Tangerine Peel (Chenpi, Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium); one qian of Honey-fried Licorice Root (Zhi Gancao, Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma). Add ginger and scallion. Decoct with water.
796. Renshen Baidu San (Ginseng Detoxification Powder): Treats cold damage, plague, wind-damp, wind vertigo, spasms, wind-phlegm headache and vertigo, limb pain, aversion to cold with high fever, neck stiffness, and eye pain. Suitable for elderly and children. One qian each of Ginseng Root (Renshen, Ginseng Radix), Poria (Fuling, Polyporus), Immature Bitter Orange (Zhike, Aurantii Immaturus), Platycodon Root (Jiegeng, Platycodonis Radix), Bupleurum Root (Chaihu, Bupleuri Radix), Peucedanum Root (Qianhu, Peucedani Radix), Notopterygium Rhizome (Qianghuo, Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix), Angelica Dahurica Root (Duhuo, Angelicae Pubescentis Radix), and Ligusticum Rhizome (Chuanxiong, Chuanxiong Rhizoma); five fen of Licorice Root (Gancao, Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma). 797. Dabu Yin Wan (Great Yin Tonifying Pill): Descends deficient fire, tonifies Kidney Water. Most suitable for deficiency heat. Four taels each of Phellodendron Bark (Huangbai, Phellodendri Cortex) and Anemarrhena Rhizome (Zhimu, Anemarrhenae Rhizoma), stir-fried with salt and wine. Six taels each of Prepared Rehmannia Root (Shudi, Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata) and Turtle Shell (Guiban, Testudinis Carapax et Plastrum). Pound into powder. Mix with steamed pig spinal cord and refined honey to make pills. Take on empty stomach with ginger tea, salt water, or wine.
798. Heixi Dan (Black Tin Pill): Treats chronic cold of Spleen origin, upper excess and lower deficiency, phlegm-fluid in chest, attacking head and eyes, visceral gas rising, hypochondriac distension, failure of Yin and Yang Qi to ascend and descend, five types of water retention, foot qi attacking upward, or sudden wind-stroke with tidal phlegm. Three taels each of Black Tin (Heixi, Stannum) and Sulfur (Liuhuang), ground and fried until silent. Five qian each of Croton Seed (Huluba, Crotonis Fructus), Agarwood (Chenxiang, Aquilariae Lignum Resinatum), Prepared Aconite Root (Shu Fuzi, Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata), and Cinnamon Twig (Rougui, Cinnamomi Ramulus). One tael each of Fennel Seed (Huixiang, Foeniculi Fructus), Psoralea Fruit (Po Gu Zi, Psoraleae Fructus), Myristica Seed (Roudoukou, Myristicae Semen), Melia Toosendan Fruit (Jinlingzi, Toosendan Fructus), and Costus Root (Muxiang, Aucklandiae Radix). Pound into powder, make pills with wine-boiled wheat flour paste, size of paulownia seeds. Take with ginger tea.

Erjia Longgu Tang (Two-Added Dragon Bone Decoction): Treats deficiency consumption, seminal emission in men, dream intercourse in women, hematemesis, diarrhea with undigested food, floating heat with sweating, and insomnia. Based on Guizhi Tang adding three qian each of Dragon Bone (Longgu, Fosilia Ossis Mastodi) and Oyster Shell (Muli, Ostreae Concha). Decoct with water. Alternative: remove Cinnamon Twig (Guizhi, Cinnamomi Ramulus), add Anemarrhena Rhizome (Baiwei, Anemarrhenae Rhizoma) and Prepared Aconite Root (Fuzi, Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata). Guipi Tang (Restore Spleen Decoction): Treats spleen injury from overthinking leading to failure to control blood, causing hemorrhage, forgetfulness, palpitations, fright, night sweats, lethargy, poor appetite, irregular bowels, heart-spleen pain, malaria/dysentery depression, or complications from improper medication damaging the spleen. Ephedra Stem (Mahuang, Ephedrae Herba), Peony Root (Shaoyao, Paeoniae Radix), Asarum Root (Xixin, Asari Radix et Rhizoma), Dried Ginger (Ganjiang, Zingiberis Rhizoma), Licorice Root (Gancao, Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma), Cinnamon Twig (Guizhi, Cinnamomi Ramulus), Schisandra Berry (Wuweizi, Schisandrae Chinensis Fructus), Pinellia Tuber (Banxia, Pinelliae Rhizoma). 804. Da Qinglong Tang (Major Green Dragon Decoction): Treats Taiyang wind-strike with floating-tight pulse, fever, aversion to cold, body pain, no sweat, and restlessness. This formula governs. Contraindicated for weak pulse, sweating, and aversion to wind. Taking it causes cold extremities, muscle twitching, which is adverse. 805. Yangshi Shaohuan Dan (Yang's Minor Return Pill): Treats dual deficiency of Spleen and Stomach, lack of taste, dull complexion, weak waist and knees, nocturnal emission, or impotence in youth. Two taels each of Cornus Fruit (Shanyurou, Corni Fructus), Chinese Yam (Shanyao, Dioscoreae Rhizoma), Poria (Fuling, Polyporus), Prepared Rehmannia Root (Shudi, Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata), Eucommia Bark (Duzhong, Eucommiae Cortex), Achyranthes Root (Niuxi, Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix), Cistanche Stem (Roucongrong, Cistanches Caulis), Cassia Tree Fruit (Chushizi, Cassiae Fructus), Fennel Seed (Xiaohuixiang, Foeniculi Fructus), Morinda Root (Bajitian, Morindae Officinalis Radix), Goji Berry (Gouqizi, Lycii Fructus), Polygala Root (Yuanzhi, Polygalae Radix), Acorus Rhizome (Shichangpu, Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma), and Schisandra Berry (Wuweizi, Schisandrae Chinensis Fructus). One hundred red dates. Boil with ginger, peel, remove pits, make pills with refined honey, size of paulownia seeds. Take three qian per dose with salt water. This formula communicates Heart and Kidney.
806. Fengyin Tang (Wind Pulling Decoction): Clears heat-induced paralysis. Chao Yuanfang states this formula governs foot qi. Four taels each of Rhubarb (Dahuang, Rhei Radix et Rhizoma), Dried Ginger (Ganjiang, Zingiberis Rhizoma), and Dragon Bone (Longgu, Fosilia Ossis Mastodi); three taels of Cinnamon Twig (Guizhi, Cinnamomi Ramulus); two taels each of Licorice Root (Gancao, Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) and Oyster Shell (Muli, Ostreae Concha); six taels each of Aragonite (Hanshuishi, Aragonitum), Talcum (Huashi, Talcum), Halloysitum Rubrum (Chishizhi, Halloysitum Rubrum), Kaolin (Baishizhi, Kaolinum), Purple Quartz (Zishiying, Haematitum), and Gypsum Fibrosum (Shigao, Gypsum Fibrosum). Grind together, sift, decoct with well water. This clears internal heat of zang-fu organs using heavy mineral drugs, as herbal drugs cannot disperse it.
807. Huangtu Tang (Yellow Earth Decoction): Treats bleeding where stool precedes blood, known as distant bleeding. Three qian each of Licorice Root (Gancao, Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma), Prepared Rehmannia Root (Shudi, Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata), Atractylodes Macrocephala Root (Baizhu, Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma), Prepared Aconite Root (Pao Fu, Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata), Donkey-hide Gelatin (Ejiao, Asini Corii Colla), and Scutellaria Root (Huangqin, Scutellariae Radix); eight qian of Hearth Soil (Zaotongtu, Caudex Terrae). Decoct with water, take warm.
808. Chixiaodou Danggui San (Adzuki Bean and Angelica Powder): Treats bleeding where blood precedes stool, known as proximate bleeding. (Replace Halloysitum Rubrum with Hearth Soil in previous formula, replace Fried Ginger with Prepared Aconite, add four taels of Biota Top (Ce bai ye, Platycladi Cacumen) and half jin of Bamboo Shavings (Zhuru, Bambusa Textilis Caulis Succus)). Five qian of Adzuki Bean (Chixiaodou, Vigna Angularis Semen), three qian of Angelica Root (Danggui, Angelicae Sinensis Radix). Decoct with water.
809. Niujiao Sai Hui San (Ox Horn Cheek Ash Powder): Treats sudden rectal bleeding. Roast one ox cheek horn until red, pound into powder. Mix two qian with fermented soybean juice. Severe cases: three times daily.
810. Zhu Zang Wan (Pig Intestine Pill): Treats rectal bleeding in adults and children, prolonged duration, polyphagia, easy hunger, no abdominal pain, no tenesmus. First, use cuttlefish bone (Haipiaoxiao, Sepiae Endoconcha) fried yellow, peeled, pounded into powder. Mix with Equisetum Decoction (Muzei Cao, Equiseti Hiemalis Herba). Effective after three days. Then, use two taels of Coptis Rhizome (Huanglian, Coptidis Rhizoma) stuffed into two chi of tender pig intestine (removed of fat), tied at both ends, boiled until very soft. Pound fine, add cake paste to make pills, size of paulownia seeds. Take thirty pills per dose with rice drink.
811. Jiedu Huoxue Tang (Detoxify and Invigorate Blood Decoction): Best for early stage of epidemic diseases. Equal parts of Kudzu Root (Gegen, Puerariae Lobatae Radix), Bupleurum Root (Chaihu, Bupleuri Radix), Forsythia Fruit (Lianqiao, Forsythiae Fructus), Rehmannia Root (Shengdi, Rehmanniae Radix), Angelica Root (Danggui, Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Red Peony Root (Chishao, Paeoniae Radix Rubra), Peach Kernel (Taoren, Persicae Semen), Magnolia Bark (Chuan Po, Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex), Licorice Root (Gancao, Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma), and Tibetan Safflower (Xizang Honghua, Carthami Flos). 813. Qiwei Baizhu San (Seven-Ingredient Atractylodes Powder): Treats thirst-diarrhea. Patchouli Leaf (Huoxiang, Pogostemonis Herba), Dried Kudzu Root (Gegen, Puerariae Lobatae Radix), Costus Root (Muxiang, Aucklandiae Radix). Decoct with Sizijunzi Tang (Four Gentlemen Decoction). 817. Shenxian Jiuqi Tang (Immortal Nine-Qi Decoction): Treats edema and skin distension miraculously. Curcuma Rhizome (Jianghuang, Curcumae Longae Rhizoma), Cyperus Rhizome (Xiangfu, Cyperi Rhizoma). Pound into powder, take six qian per dose on empty stomach with salt water.
818. Daoshui Fuling Tang (Guiding Water Poria Decoction): Treats edema with swelling of head, hands, feet, and whole body like rotting melons, pitting on pressure, abdominal fullness, wheezing, inability to turn over or sleep, inability to eat, scanty and painful urination resembling cutting or bean juice. For wheezing, cough, rebellious qi unresponsive to other drugs, use this to gradually promote diuresis and cure. Three taels each of泽泻 (Zexie, Alismatis Rhizoma), Red Poria (Chiling, Polyporus), Ophiopogon Tuber (Maidong, Ophiopogonis Tuber), and Atractylodes Macrocephala Root (Baizhu, Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma); one tael each of Mulberry Root Bark (Sangbaipi, Mori Cortex), Perilla Leaf (Zisuye, Perillae Folium), Areca Nut (Binglang, Arecae Semen), and Papaya (Mugua, Chaenomelis Fructus); three-and-a-half qian each of Greater Betel Nut Peel (Dafupi, Arecae Pericarpium), Tangerine Peel (Chenpi, Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium), Amomum Fruit (Sharen, Amomi Fructus), and Costus Root (Muxiang, Aucklandiae Radix); thirty stalks of Rush Pith (Dengcao, Junci Medulla). Decoct to eight-tenths strength, take after meals. For severe cases, use five to six taels, decoct strongly, take at wu geng (3-5 AM).
819. Mahuang Gancao Tang (Ephedra and Licorice Decoction): This formula disperses Lung Qi upwards, assists Earth Qi in the middle, and moves Water Qi externally. Its merit surpasses Jisheng. Since water exits via sweat, fear of Yang collapse is avoided. Three qian of Ephedra Stem (Mahuang, Ephedrae Herba), one qian of Licorice Root (Gancao, Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma). Decoct with water.
820. Lianli Wan (Coptis and Combined Pill): Treats abdominal distension like a basket, frequent acid regurgitation, and chronic diarrhea miraculously. Ginseng Root (Renshen, Ginseng Radix), Atractylodes Rhizome (Cangzhu, Atractylodis Rhizoma), Dried Ginger (Ganjiang, Zingiberis Rhizoma), Coptis Rhizome (Chuanlian, Coptidis Rhizoma), Honey-fried Licorice Root (Zhi Gancao, Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma). Make pills with honey, take with rice gruel. Very effective.

Glutinosa); two qian of Anemarrhena Rhizome (Zhimu, Anemarrhenae Rhizoma). Add three qian each of Scutellaria Root (Huangqin, Scutellariae Radix), White Peony Root (Baishao, Paeoniae Radix Alba), and Apricot Seed (Xingren, Armeniacae Semen Amarum); two qian each of Platycodon Root (Jiegeng, Platycodonis Radix) and Magnolia Bark (Houpo, Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex). Decoct with water. Add Schizonepeta Spike (Jingjie, Schizonepetae Spica) and Kudzu Root (Gegen, Puerariae Lobatae Radix) for exterior cold; add Mulberry Root Bark (Sangbaipi, Mori Cortex) and Talcum (Huashi, Talcum) for difficult urination.
