Sakura Prunella Herb (Xiakucao), Cyperus Rhizome (Xiangfu), and Mulberry Leaf (Sangye) in equal parts are ground into powder. Each dose is three qian, taken with Ophiopogon Decoction (Maidong Tang).

Vesicular Flowerhead Gentian Flower (Gujingcao) (stir-fried), Green Tangerine Peel (Qingxiaopi) (stir-fried), Indigo Naturalis (Qingdai), Sea Powder (Haifen), Tribulus Fruit (Cijili), and Quince Seed Kernel (Shijunzirou) in equal parts are ground into fine powder. Each dose is three qian.

Rehmannia Root (Shudihuang), Ophiopogon Tuber (Maidong), and Plantago Seed (Cheqianzi) in equal parts are ground into powder and made into pills. Long-term consumption will lead to spontaneous recovery.

Brush the back of the head backwards seven times with a shoe brush; pain stops immediately and swelling subsides, especially effective in the early stages.
Another prescription: Apply one moxibustion session with a lit lamp wick on the tip of the nose for immediate cure.
Another prescription: Grind Aconitum Bulb (Sheng Nanxing) and Rehmannia Root (Sheng Dihuang) in equal parts into a paste, apply to both Taiyang acupoints (Shangguan), and the swelling will subside naturally.

Grind Arisaema Rhizome (Nanxing) with vinegar for rubbing, or grind with black tea as an alternative. Rub frequently, and it will heal in a few days.

For children who habitually eat tobacco and accidentally get tobacco residue in their eyes, do not wash with water or soup under any circumstances; washing more will increase pain and swelling, potentially leading to blindness. Immediately take a clump of tangled hair or a handful of palm fiber, rub gently, and the tobacco residue will come out spontaneously, leading to recovery.

Spit saliva onto the lid of a stone jar, thicken it by grinding human fingernails into it, dip a bone hairpin into the saliva mixture, and drip into the eye. Repeat three to five times, and dust/debris can be wiped away.

This is Fire in the Upper Jiao (Upper Burner). It is suitable to use Qing Shang Fang Feng Tang (Clear Upper Wind-Dispersing Decoction): Saposhnikovia Root (Fangfeng) 1 qian, Schizonepeta Spike (Jingjie) 0.5 qian, Forsythia Fruit (Lianqiao) 0.8 qian, Gardenia Fruit (Shanzhi) 0.5 qian, Coptis Rhizome (Huanglian) 0.5 qian, Scutellaria Root (Huangqin) 0.7 qian, Mint (Bohe) 0.5 qian, Szechuan Lovage Root (Chuanxiong) 0.7 qian, Angelica Dahurica (Baizhi) 0.8 qian, Platycodon Root (Jiegeng) 0.8 qian, Aurantium Fruit (Zhiqiao) 0.5 qian, Licorice Root (Gancao) 0.3 qian. Decoct in water and take orally. Deer Antler Bone (Lu jiao) burnt to ash but retaining its nature, mixed with sesame oil and applied topically is also effective.

This is Lung Fire. It is suitable to use Qing Fei Tang (Clear Lung Decoction): Forsythia Fruit (Lianqiao), Szechuan Lovage Root (Chuanxiong), Angelica Dahurica (Baizhi), Coptis Rhizome (Huanglian), Scutellaria Root (Huangqin), Schizonepeta Spike (Jingjie), Mulberry Bark (Sangpi), Gardenia Fruit (Shanzhi), Fritillaria Bulb (Beimu), and Licorice Root (Gancao). Decoct in water and take orally.
Another prescription: Soap 1 liang, Motherwort Herb (Yimucao) (burnt to ash) 1 liang, pound into pills. Wash three times daily, avoid ginger and alcohol, and it will heal spontaneously.

Aconitum Bulb (Baifuzi), Bletilla Rhizome (Baiji), Trichosanthes Root (Bailian), Poria (Baifuling), and Lead Monoxide (Miduoseng) in equal parts are ground into fine powder. Before sleep, wash the face clean, mix the medicine with water, and apply. Wash off the next morning, and dark spots will disappear after a few days.
