Mr. Zheng (June 26), Summer-heat, cold, dampness, and food stagnation obstruct and depress the Yangming channel and Sanjiao, causing Qi stagnation and disharmony, presenting with epigastric fullness and limb fatigue. The illness began with abdominal colic, vomiting, and diarrhea, named Huoluan (Cholera-like syndrome); subsequently accompanied by fever, aversion to cold, bitter taste in the mouth, and scanty urine, requiring vigilance for potential progression to malaria or dysentery. The pulse is wiry, slippery, and rapid; the tongue coating is yellow and greasy. Treatment employs a modified Zhengqi San (Regulate Qi Powder).

Shi Zuo (May), Cold, summer-heat, turbid dampness mutually disturb the Yangming channel, confusing the ascending of clear Qi and descending of turbid Yin, resulting in sudden alternating episodes of vomiting and diarrhea. The pulse form is deep, wiry, and slippery. Treatment should prioritize harmonizing the middle jiao.

Xu, Huoluan with muscle cramps (Zhuanjin) is not easy to treat. (Follow Shi's formula adding Mugua (Chaenomeles) and Gouteng (Uncaria)).
Yan (August), Dampness remaining after malaria is not cleared, spleen and stomach are disharmonious, pulse is wiry and rapid. Treatment should focus on regulation.

Ling (May), Spleen lacks robust transportation function, damp-heat lingers in the Yangming channel. Currently, the Qi of Taiyin damp earth is dominant, compounded by wind pathogen disturbance. Wind-dampness invades the skin; incomplete sweating leads to the formation of wind spots (Fengban), with itching in不定 locations. The Classic states: "Sweating followed by exposure to dampness generates acne and prickly heat"; 'Zuo' refers to wind spots. Pulse is wiry and rapid. Treatment should employ methods to regulate and dispel wind-dampness.

Certain patient (July 30, initial routine consultation), In summer and autumn, Yang Qi vents outward, making the skin pores open. Occasionally encountering heavy rain and cold water Qi invading internally into the Taiyin channel, leading to cough, counterflow qi, and thick sputum. Lingering for a long time, the pathogen stagnates and transforms into fire, brewing phlegm. Green sputum and sore throat are its signs. The right-side pulse is stagnant, slippery, approaching wiry. The root of the disease lies in the Lung; why treat it primarily from the Liver and Kidney? Propose treating according to the method of Maxing Gan Shi Tang (Ephedra, Apricot Kernel, Licorice, and Gypsum Decoction) with modifications, aiming to hit the precise point.
