运气 拘急属寒，及寒湿风湿。经云∶诸寒收引，皆属于肾。又云∶太阴司天之政，民病寒厥拘急。初之
气，风湿相搏，民病经络拘强，关节不利，治法盖小续命汤、仲景三黄汤之类是也。
〔丹〕精滑专主湿热，用黄柏、知母、牡蛎、蛤粉。梦遗专主热，与带下同治法。
〔《本》〕治梦遗有数种∶下元虚惫，精不禁者，宜服茴香丸。年壮气盛，久节淫欲，经络壅滞者，宜服清
心丸。有情欲淫动，经谓所愿不得，名曰白淫，宜良方茯苓散。正如瓶中煎汤，气盛盈溢者，如瓶中沸汤而溢。
欲动心邪者，如瓶倾侧而出，惫虚不禁者，如瓶中有罅而漏，不可一概用药也。又有一说。经曰∶肾气闭即精
泄。《素问》云∶肾者作强之官，伎巧出焉。又曰∶肾藏精。盖肾能摄精气以生育人伦者也，或育或散，皆主于
肾。今肾气衰则一身之精气无所管摄，故妄行而出不时也。猪苓丸一方，正为此设。
〔《内》〕内伤气血不能固守梦遗者，当补以八物汤加减，吞樗根皮丸。
〔垣〕面色白而不泽《难经》云∶肺太过则令人面白善嚏，悲愁不乐欲哭。面色白为寒，脉沉厥急，按之
空虚，色白脱气，又为脱血，又为脱津，又为脱液，又为脱精，又为脱神，是元神漂浮乎外，将离体之象也。
其脉按之不鼓，犹为亡阳，况虚空者乎？病乃阴寒极矣。若脉或盛大而涩，犹为中寒之病也，况虚空者乎？宜
峻补之。
巴戟丸 治肝肾俱虚，收敛精气，补其元阳，充悦肌肤，进美饮食。
五味子 川巴戟（去心） 肉苁蓉（酒洗） 菟丝子（炒） 人参 白术 熟地 骨碎补（去毛） 茴香 牡蛎
白龙骨 覆盆子 益智仁（各等分）
上为末，炼蜜丸，桐子大。每服三十丸，空心食前米饮下，日二三服。补精止汗。（虚甚者，用八物汤吞之。）
〔《本》〕治遗精梦泄，关锁不固，金锁丹，亦名茴香丸。
舶上茴香 葫芦巴 破故纸 白龙骨（各一两） 木香（一两半） 胡桃（三十个，研） 羊肾膏（三对，取开，

上五味为末，下二味同研成膏，和酒浸蒸饼杵熟丸，如桐子大。每服三五十丸，空心盐汤下。
〔罗〕固真丹
晚蚕蛾（一两） 肉苁蓉 白茯苓 益智（各一两） 龙骨
上用鹿角胶酒浸化开，丸桐子大。每服三粒，空心温酒下，干物压之。
补真玉露丸 治阳虚阴盛，精脱淫泺胫酸。（一方无茯苓。）
白茯苓（去皮） 白龙骨（水飞） 韭子（酒浸，炒） 菟丝子（酒浸。各等分，火日修合）
上为末，炼蜜丸，如桐子大。每服五十丸，温酒下，盐汤亦得，空心食前服，少时以美膳压之。（《梅师方》止
用龙骨四分，韭子五合为散，空心，酒调服方寸匕，治失精暂睡即泄。《圣惠方》止用韭子微炒为散，
食前酒下二钱匕，治梦中泄精。《外台》方用新韭子二升，十月霜后枯者，好酒八合浸一宿，明日日色好，
令童子向南捣一万杵，平旦温酒服方寸匕，治虚劳尿精，再服立瘥。此龙骨、韭子为泄精要药也。）
〔梅〕治精滑久不固，牡蛎不拘多少，砂锅内醋淬七次，细末醋糊丸，桐子大。每五十丸，空心盐汤下。
上龙骨、牡蛎治梦遗例。王元 虚而泄精，脉弦大，累与加减八物汤，吞河间秘真丸及珍珠粉丸，
其泄不止。后用五倍子一两，茯苓二两，为丸服之良愈。此则五倍子涩脱之功，敏于龙骨、蛤粉也。
〔河〕秘真丸 治白淫小便不止，精气不固，及有余沥，或梦寐阴人通泄。
龙骨（一两，另研） 大诃子皮（五个） 朱砂（一两，研细，一分为衣） 缩砂（半两）
上为末，面糊丸，绿豆大。每服一二十丸，空心温酒下，熟水亦得。不可多服，太秘。
〔《本》〕治虚损，补精水，壮筋骨，益心智，安魂魄，令人悦泽驻颜，轻身延年，益寿闭固天癸。八仙丹。
伏火朱砂 真磁石 赤石脂 代赭石 石中黄 禹余粮 乳香 没药（各一两）
上为末，研匀极细，糯米浓饮丸，桐子大，或豆大。每服一粒，空心盐汤下。有人年几七旬，梦漏羸弱，
气 然虚损，得此方服之，顿尔强壮，精气闭固，饮食如故。予常制自服，良验。
经云∶思想无穷，所愿不得，意淫于外，入房太甚，宗筋弛纵，发为白淫梦遗等症。先贤治法有五∶上法
用辰砂、磁石、龙骨之类，镇坠神之浮游，是其一也。其二思想结成痰饮，迷于心窍而遗者，许学士用猪苓丸
之类，导利其痰是也。（方见治郁条。）其三思想伤阴者，洁古珍珠粉丸用蛤粉、黄柏降火补阴是也。（方见热
条。）其四思想伤阳者，谦甫鹿茸、苁蓉、菟丝子等补阳是也。（方见白浊条。）其五阴阳俱虚者，
丹溪治一形瘦人，便浊梦遗，作心虚治，用珍珠粉丸、定志丸服之。定志丸者，远志、菖蒲、茯苓、人参是也。
年少壮节欲遗泄者，宜清心丸、珍珠粉丸。（清心方见热条。）
〔洁〕珍珠粉丸 治白淫梦遗泄精，及滑出不收。
黄柏皮（一斤，新瓦上炒赤） 真蛤粉（一斤）
上为细末，滴水丸如桐子大。每服一百丸，空心温酒送下。法曰阳盛乘阴，故精泄也。黄柏降火，蛤粉咸
而补肾阴。
〔丹〕精滑不禁方。用海蛤粉、青黛、香附、黄柏、知母之类。
〔海〕大凤髓丹 治心火狂阳太盛，补肾水真阴虚损。心有所欲，速于感动，应之于肾疾于施泄。此方固真元，
降心火，益肾水，大有神效。
黄柏（炒，二两） 缩砂（一两） 甘草（半两） 半夏（炒） 木猪苓 茯苓 红莲芯 益智仁（各三钱五分）
上为丸，每服五七十丸。若只用黄柏、甘草、缩砂三味，为正凤髓丹。只用黄柏、甘草二味，为凤髓丹。
古人云∶泻心者非也，乃泻相火益肾水之剂。
〔《本》〕治经络热梦遗，心忪恍惚膈热，清心丸。
用好黄柏皮一两，研为细末，生脑子一钱，同研匀，炼蜜为丸，如桐子大，每服十丸至十五丸，浓煎麦门
冬汤吞下。大智禅师云∶梦遗不可全作虚冷，亦有经络热而得之也。尝治一男子，至夜脊心热，梦遗，用珍
珠粉丸、猪苓丸遗止，终服紫雪，脊热始除。又一男子脉洪腰热遗精，用沉香和中丸下之，导赤散治其火而
愈。于此知身有热而遗者，皆热遗也。
〔仲〕夫失精家，少腹弦急，阴头寒，目眩发落，脉极虚芤迟，为清谷亡血失精，脉得诸芤动微紧，男子失精，
女子梦交，桂枝龙骨牡蛎汤主之。
桂枝 芍药 生姜（各三两） 甘草（二两） 大枣（十二枚） 龙骨（ ） 牡蛎（ 。各三两）
上七味，水七升，煮三升，分温三服。
天雄散方
天雄（炮） 龙骨（各三两） 白术（八两） 桂枝（六两）
上四味，杵为散，酒服半钱匕，日三服。不止，稍增之。
愚壮年得梦遗症，每四十五日必一遗，累用凤髓丹、河间秘真丸，虽少效，终不除根，后改用菖蒲、远志、
韭子、桑螵蛸、益智、酸枣仁、牡蛎、龙骨、锁阳等剂为丸，服之良愈。
又一中年男子梦遗，以珍珠粉丸等药与服，了无一效，亦以远志、菖蒲等剂服之，随手而愈。
〔《本》〕猪苓丸
用半夏一两，破如豆大，猪苓末二两，先将一半炒半夏色黄，不令焦，出火毒，取半夏为末糊丸，桐子大，
候干，更用前猪苓末一半同炒微裂，入砂瓶内养之，空心温酒盐汤下三四十丸，常服，于申未间温酒下。此
古方也，今盛行于时，而人多莫测其用。半夏有利性，而猪苓导水，盖肾闭导气使通之意也。予医囊中尝贮
此药，缓急与人三五服，皆随手而验。林监丞庇民亦数服而愈。
详此治梦遗方属郁滞者居大半，庸医不知其郁，但用龙骨、牡蛎等涩剂固脱，殊不知愈涩愈郁，其病反
甚。常治一壮年男子，梦遗白浊，少腹有气冲上，每日腰热，卯作酉凉，腰热作则手足冷，前阴无气，腰
热退则前阴气耕，手足温。又旦多下气，暮多噫，时振，隔一旬二旬必遗，脉旦弦滑而大，午洪大。予知
其有郁滞也，先用沉香和中丸大下之，次用加减八物汤吞滋肾丸百粒。若稍与蛤粉等涩药，则遗与浊反甚，
或一夜二遗。遂改用导赤散大剂煎汤服之，遗汤皆止渐安。又一中年男子皆梦遗，医或与涩药，反甚，连遗数夜。愚先
与神芎丸大下之，却制此猪苓丸服之，皆得痊安。又丹溪先生治镇守万户萧伯善，便浊精滑
不禁，百药不致，与试倒仓法而安。于此见梦遗属郁滞者多矣。
〔世〕治精滑不禁。用局方青州白丸子，用辰砂为衣服之，神效。
〔海〕乌金散 治梦泄精滑不禁。
九肋鳖甲，每服二字，用清酒半盏，童便半小盏，陈葱白七八寸，同煎七分，和渣，日两服。（本草云∶
鳖甲主心腹 瘕坚积。）
〔垣〕治男子梦与鬼交，心神恍惚者。刮鹿角屑三指撮，日二服，酒下。《食疗》同。（本草云∶鹿角屑
逐恶气恶血。）
〔《玉》〕遗精白浊，夜梦鬼交∶心俞（一分，沿皮向外一寸半，先补后泻，灸不宜多。） 白环俞（一寸
半，泻六吸，补一呼。）
〔《撮》〕又法∶白环俞（一寸半，灸五十壮，与中极相平。） 肾俞 中极（灸随年壮。）
〔《集》〕又法，肾俞 心俞 膏肓 关元 三阴（不已，取下穴。）
〔东〕腰脊冷，溺多白浊，失精∶脾募（三七壮。） 曲泉（灸。）
虚劳失精，阴缩，茎中痛∶大赫（三七壮。） 中封（灸。）
〔华〕遗精，五脏虚竭（东阳同）∶曲骨端（四七壮，在阴横骨中央曲如月，中央是也。）
〔东〕溺血精出∶列缺（卧针五分。）
〔《甲》〕丈夫失精，中极主之。男子精溢，阴上缩，大赫主之。男子精溢，胫酸不能久立，然谷主之。
男子精不足，太冲主之。
【运气学说】拘急（肢体拘挛紧张）属于寒邪，以及寒湿、风湿之邪。《内经》说：各种寒邪导致的收引（收缩牵引），都归属于肾。又说：太阴湿土司天之时，百姓容易患寒厥和拘急病。初之气阶段，风湿相互搏结，百姓出现经络拘强、关节不利的症状，治疗方法可用小续命汤、张仲景的三黄汤之类的方剂。
〔朱丹溪〕精液滑泄主要责之于湿热，使用黄柏、知母、牡蛎、蛤粉。梦遗（梦中遗精）主要责之于热，治疗原则与带下病相同。
〔《本草衍义》/寇宗奭〕治疗梦遗有几种情况：下元虚惫，精关不固者，适宜服用茴香丸。年壮气盛，长期节制房事，导致经络壅滞者，适宜服用清心丸。有情欲淫动，经书所说“所愿不得”，名为白淫（指因情志不畅而致的精液自出或白带异常），适宜用良方茯苓散。这就像瓶中煮汤，气盛满溢的情况，如同瓶中的沸水溢出；欲望心动邪念的情况，如同瓶子倾斜流出；虚惫不能控制的情况，如同瓶中有裂缝而渗漏，不可一概用药。又有一种说法。经书说：肾气闭阻则精泄。《素问》说：肾是作强之官，技巧由此产生。又说：肾藏精。肾能够摄纳精气以繁衍人类，或生育或散失，都由肾主宰。现在肾气衰弱，则一身精气无所管摄，所以妄行而出且不时发生。猪苓丸这一方剂，正是为此而设。
〔《黄帝内经》〕内伤气血，不能固守而导致梦遗者，应当用八物汤加减补益，并吞服樗根皮丸。
〔李东垣〕面色白而无光泽，《难经》说：肺太过则使人面白善嚏，悲愁不乐想哭。面色白为寒证，脉沉厥急，按之空虚，色白脱气，又是脱血，又是脱津，又是脱液，又是脱精，又是脱神，这是元神漂浮于外，即将离体的征象。其脉按之不鼓动，还是亡阳，何况是虚空的呢？病情乃是阴寒极盛了。如果脉盛大而涩，还是中寒的病，何况是虚空的呢？应当峻补。
巴戟丸 治疗肝肾俱虚，收敛精气，补益元阳，充盈肌肤，增进饮食。
五味子 川巴戟天（去心） 肉苁蓉（酒洗） 菟丝子（炒） 人参 白术 熟地黄 骨碎补（去毛） 茴香 牡蛎 白龙骨 覆盆子 益智仁（各等分）
以上药物研为末，炼蜜为丸，如梧桐子大。每次服用三十丸，空腹食前米饮送下，每日二三次。补精止汗。（虚损严重者，用八物汤吞服。）
〔《本草衍义》〕治疗遗精梦泄，关锁不固，金锁丹，又名茴香丸。
舶上茴香 葫芦巴 破故纸（补骨脂） 白龙骨（各一两） 木香（一两半） 胡桃（三十个，研碎） 羊肾膏（三对，剖开，用盐半两擦炙熟，研成膏状）
以上五味药研为末，下两味同研成膏，和酒浸蒸饼捣熟制成丸，如梧桐子大。每次服用三五十丸，空腹盐汤送下。
〔罗天益〕固真丹
晚蚕蛾（一两） 肉苁蓉 白茯苓 益智仁（各一两） 龙骨
以上用鹿角胶酒浸化开，制成梧桐子大的丸。每次服用三粒，空腹温酒送下，吃点干物压住。
补真玉露丸 治疗阳虚阴盛，精脱、淫泺（形容身体极度虚弱）、胫酸。
白茯苓（去皮） 白龙骨（水飞） 韭子（酒浸，炒） 菟丝子（酒浸。各等分，火日修合）
以上研为末，炼蜜为丸，如梧桐子大。每次服用五十丸，温酒送下，盐汤也可以，空腹食前服用，稍后用美膳压住。（《梅师方》只用龙骨四分，韭子五合研为散，空腹酒调服方寸匕，治疗失精暂睡即泄。《圣惠方》只用韭子微炒为散，食前酒下二钱匕，治疗梦中泄精。《外台秘要》方用新韭子二升，十月霜后枯萎的，好酒八合浸泡一夜，次日天色好时，让童子向南捣一万杵，平旦温酒服方寸匕，治疗虚劳尿精，再服立愈。这是龙骨、韭子是治疗泄精的要药。）
〔梅彪〕治疗精滑久不固，牡蛎不拘多少，在砂锅内用醋淬七次，研为细末，醋糊为丸，梧桐子大。每次五十丸，空腹盐汤送下。
以上龙骨、牡蛎治疗梦遗的例子。王元虚而泄精，脉弦大，多次给予加减八物汤，吞服河间秘真丸及珍珠粉丸，泄精仍不止。后来用五倍子一两，茯苓二两，制丸服用，痊愈很好。这说明五倍子涩脱的功效，比龙骨、蛤粉更敏锐。
〔刘完素〕秘真丸 治疗白淫小便不止，精气不固，及有余沥，或梦寐中与女子交合泄精。
龙骨（一两，另研） 大诃子皮（五个） 朱砂（一两，研细，一分为衣） 缩砂仁（半两）
以上研为末，面糊为丸，绿豆大。每次服用一二十丸，空腹温酒送下，熟水也可以。不可多服，以免太便秘。

[Theory of Six Qi] Spasm (limb stiffness and tension) belongs to Cold, as well as Cold-Dampness and Wind-Dampness. The *Neijing* states: All cold pathogens causing contraction (shrinkage and traction) belong to the Kidney. It also states: When Taiyin Damp-Soil governs the year, the people are prone to Cold-Jue and spasm diseases. During the first Qi phase, Wind and Dampness contend with each other, leading to symptoms of meridians being stiff and joints being unflexible in the populace. The treatment method can involve formulas such as Xiao Xuming Tang or Zhang Zhongjing's Sanhuang Tang.
[Zhu Danxi] Spermatorrhea is primarily attributed to Damp-Heat, treated with Huangbai, Zhimu, Muli, and Gafen. Nocturnal emission is primarily attributed to Heat, and its treatment principle is the same as that for leukorrhea.
*[Bencao Yanyi]* There are several types of nocturnal emission treatment: For deficiency and exhaustion of the lower origin with insecure essence gate, Huixiang Wan is suitable. For those in their prime with vigorous qi who have long abstained from sexual desire, causing stagnation in the meridians, Qingxin Wan is suitable. For those with lustful movements, described in the classics as "desires unfulfilled," named Baiyin (referring to spontaneous emission of semen or abnormal vaginal discharge due to emotional frustration), Liangfang Fuling San is suitable. This is like boiling soup in a bottle; when qi is excessive and overflows, it is like boiling water overflowing from a bottle. When desire moves and evil thoughts arise, it is like a tilted bottle pouring out liquid. When exhausted and unable to control, it is like a bottle with cracks leaking. Medicines cannot be used indiscriminately. There is another theory. The classics say: When Kidney Qi is blocked, essence leaks. The *Suwen* says: The Kidney is the official of strength, and skills emerge from it. It also says: The Kidney stores essence. The Kidney can grasp essence and qi to reproduce humanity; whether reproducing or scattering, it is all governed by the Kidney. Now, if Kidney Qi declines, the essence and qi of the whole body are unmanaged, so they leak out randomly and untimely. The formula Zhuling Wan is specifically designed for this.
*[Huangdi Neijing]* For internal injury to qi and blood failing to secure, leading to nocturnal emission, one should supplement with Bawu Tang modified, and swallow Chugenpi Wan.
[Li Dongyuan] A white complexion without luster. The *Nanjing* says: If Lung is too excessive, it causes a white face, frequent sneezing, sadness, and a desire to cry. A white face indicates Cold. Pulse is deep, Jue, and urgent; pressing reveals emptiness. White complexion with loss of qi indicates also loss of blood, loss of fluids, loss of body fluids, loss of essence, loss of spirit. This is a sign that the Yuan Shen floats outside, about to leave the body. If the pulse does not throb upon pressing, it indicates Yang collapse, let alone emptiness. The disease is extremely Yin-Cold. If the pulse is large and choppy, it is still a Middle-Cold disease, let alone emptiness. One should strongly tonify.
Baji Wan Treats dual deficiency of Liver and Kidney, consolidates essence and qi, tonifies Yuan Yang, fills the skin and muscles, and improves appetite.
Wuweizi, Chuan Bajitian (remove heart), Rousongrong (wine-washed), Tusizi (fried), Renshen, Baizhu, Shudi, Gusuibu (remove hairs), Huixiang, Muli, Bailonggu, Fupenzi, Yizhiren (equal parts).
Grind into powder, make pills with refined honey, size of Sophora japonica seeds. Take 30 pills each time, before meals on an empty stomach with rice drink, two or three times a day. Tonifies essence and stops sweating. (For severe deficiency, take with Bawu Tang.)
*[Bencao Yanyi]* Treats spermatorrhea and nocturnal emission, insecure lock and key. Jinluo Dan, also known as Huixiang Wan.
Bo Shang Huixiang, Huluba, Poguzhi (Buguzhi), Bailonggu (each 1 liang), Muxiang (1.5 liang), Hetao (30 nuts, ground), Yangshen Gao (3 pairs, cut open, rubbed with half a liang of salt, roasted until cooked, ground into paste).
Grind the above five herbs into powder, mix with the two pastes, soak in wine, steam steamed bread, pound until ripe, make pills size of Sophora japonica seeds. Take 30-50 pills each time, before meals on an empty stomach with salt water.
[Luo Tianyi] Guzhen Dan
Wancan'e (1 liang), Rousongrong, Baifuling, Yizhiren (each 1 liang), Longgu.
Dissolve Lujiaojiao in wine, make pills size of Sophora japonica seeds. Take 3 pills each time, before meals on an empty stomach with warm wine, press with dry food.
Buzhen Yulu Wan Treats Yang deficiency and Yin excess, essence depletion, extreme weakness (Yinluo), and soreness of the shins.
Baifuling (remove peel), Bailonggu (water-floated), Jiuizi (wine-soaked, fried), Tusizi (wine-soaked. Equal parts, prepared on Fire days).
Grind into powder, make pills with refined honey, size of Sophora japonica seeds. Take 50 pills each time, with warm wine, salt water is also acceptable. Take before meals on an empty stomach, press with good food afterwards. (*Meishi Fang* uses only Bailonggu 4 fen and Jiuizi 5 he, ground into powder, taken with wine on an empty stomach with a square-inch spoon, treating temporary leakage after sleep. *Shenghui Fang* uses only lightly fried Jiuizi powder, taken with wine before meals, two coin-sized spoons, treating nocturnal emission. *Waitai* formula uses 2 sheng of fresh Jiuizi, dried after frost in October, soaked in 8 ge of good wine overnight. On a sunny next day, have a boy pound it 10,000 times facing south. Take with warm wine at dawn using a square-inch spoon, treating deficiency consumption with urine containing essence; cure after two doses. These show that Bailonggu and Jiuizi are essential medicines for treating seminal leakage.)
[Mei Biao] Treats chronic insecurity of slippery essence. Use Muli, amount unspecified, quench seven times in vinegar in a clay pot, grind into fine powder, make pills with vinegar paste, size of Sophora japonica seeds. Take 50 pills each time, before meals on an empty stomach with salt water.
The above examples of Longgu and Muli treating nocturnal emission. Wang Yuan had deficiency and seminal leakage, pulse was wiry and large. Repeatedly given Jiabian Bawu Tang, swallowing Hejian Mizhen Wan and Zhenzhu Fen Wan, but leakage continued. Later used Wubeizi 1 liang and Fuling 2 liang, made into pills, cured effectively. This shows that the astringent power of Wubeizi is more sensitive than Longgu and Gafen.
[Liu Wansu] Mizhen Wan Treats Baiyin with continuous urination, insecure essence and qi, residual drops, or nocturnal emission during dreams of intercourse with women.
Longgu (1 liang, separately ground), Dahezi Pi (5 pieces), Zhusha (1 liang, finely ground, use one part to coat), Suosha (half liang).
Grind into powder, make pills with flour paste, size of mung beans. Take 10-20 pills each time, before meals on an empty stomach with warm wine, boiled water is also acceptable. Do not take too much, to avoid constipation.
*[Bencao Yanyi]* Treats deficiency consumption, supplements essence and water, strengthens sinews and bones, benefits mind and intelligence, calms soul and spirit, makes one radiant and youthful, lightens the body, prolongs life, benefits longevity, secures Tiangui. Baxian Dan.
Fuhuo Zhusha, Zhen Cishi, Chishizhi, Daizheshi, Shizhonghuang, Yuyuliang, Ruxiang, Moyao (each 1 liang).
Grind into powder, mix very finely, make pills with thick glutinous rice drink, size of Sophora japonica seeds or beans. Take 1 pill each time, before meals on an empty stomach with salt water. Someone nearly seventy years old, weak from nocturnal leakage, breathless and deficient, took this formula and became strong instantly, essence secured, appetite normal. I often prepare and take it myself, with good results.
The classics say: Endless thinking, desires unfulfilled, mind wandering externally, excessive sexual activity, causing relaxation of the Zongjin (tendons), leading to Baiyin and nocturnal emission. The ancients had five treatment methods: The first method uses Chen Sha, Cishi, Longgu, etc., to anchor floating Shen, which is one approach. The second: Thinking forms Phlegm-Fluid, confusing the Heart orifice leading to emission; Xu Xueshi used Zhuling Wan to guide out the Phlegm. (Formula see Treating Stagnation section.) The third: Thinking injures Yin; Jiegu Zhenzhu Fen Wan uses Gafen and Huangbai to descend fire and tonify Yin. (Formula see Heat section.) The fourth: Thinking injures Yang; Qianfu uses Lurong, Rongrong, Tusizi, etc., to tonify Yang. (Formula see White Turbidity section.) The fifth: Dual deficiency of Yin and Yang; Danxi treated a thin person with turbid urine and nocturnal emission as Heart deficiency, using Zhenzhu Fen Wan and Dingzhi Wan. Dingzhi Wan consists of Yuanzhi, Changpu, Fuling, Renshen. For young men with vigorous constitution who emit due to abstinence, Qingxin Wan and Zhenzhu Fen Wan are suitable. [Zhang Yuansu] Zhenzhu Fen Wan Treats Baiyin, nocturnal emission, seminal leakage, and sliding without retention.
Huangbapi (1 jin, fried red on new tile), Zhen Gafen (1 jin).
Grind into fine powder, make pills with dripping water, size of Sophora japonica seeds. Take 100 pills each time, before meals on an empty stomach with warm wine. The method states: Yang excess attacks Yin, hence essence leaks. Huangbai descends fire, Gafen is salty and tonifies Kidney Yin.
[Zhu Danxi] Formula for uncontrollable slippery essence. Use Haigefen, Qingdai, Xiangfu, Huangbai, Zhimu, etc.
[Wang Haicang] Dafengsui Dan Treats excessive Heart Fire and Yang, tonifying true Kidney Water deficiency. When the Heart has desire, it is quickly moved, responding in the Kidney with rapid emission. This formula secures Yuan Yuan, descends Heart Fire, benefits Kidney Water, with great spiritual efficacy.
Huangbai (fried, 2 liang), Suosha (1 liang), Gancao (half liang), Banxia (fried), Mumuling, Fuling, Honglianxin, Yizhiren (each 3 qian 5 fen).
Make into pills, take 50-70 pills each time. If using only Huangbai, Gancao, Suosha, it is Zheng Fengsui Dan. If using only Huangbai and Gancao, it is Fengsui Dan.
The ancients said: It is not to drain the Heart, but to drain Ministerial Fire and benefit Kidney Water.
*[Bencao Yanyi]* Treats meridian heat nocturnal emission, palpitations,恍惚 (fluctuation/confusion), chest heat. Qingxin Wan.
Use good Huangbapi 1 liang, grind into fine powder, add Shengnaozi 1 qian, mix evenly, make pills with refined honey, size of Sophora japonica seeds. Take 10-15 pills each time, swallow with concentrated decoction of Maidong. Chan Dashizhi said: Nocturnal emission cannot be entirely treated as deficiency-cold; there are also cases caused by meridian heat. Once treated a man with back heat at night and nocturnal emission; used Zhenzhu Fen Wan and Zhuling Wan to stop emission, finally took Zixue, and back heat was removed. Another man with surging pulse, waist heat, and seminal leakage; treated with Chenxiang Hezhong Wan to purge, and Daochi San to treat fire, and cured. From this, we know that emission accompanied by body heat is all heat-emission.
[Zhang Zhongjing] For those who lose essence, the lower abdomen is tense and urgent, the glans is cold, dizziness, hair loss, pulse is extremely deficient, knotted, and slow, indicating clear stool, loss of blood, and loss of essence. If the pulse is knotted, moving, slightly tight, men lose essence, women have nocturnal coitus, Guizhi Longgu Muli Tang governs.
Guizhi, Shaoyao, Shengjiang (each 3 liang), Gancao (2 liang), Dazao (12 pieces), Longgu, Muli (each 3 liang).
Seven ingredients, water 7 sheng, boil to 3 sheng, divide into three warm doses.
Tianxiong San Formula
Tianxiong (roasted), Longgu (each 3 liang), Baizhu (8 liang), Guizhi (6 liang).
Four ingredients, pound into powder, take half a coin-spoon with wine, three times a day. If not stopped, increase slightly.
In my youth, I suffered from nocturnal emission, occurring every 45 days. Repeatedly used Fengsui Dan and Hejian Mizhen Wan, with slight effect but no root cure. Later changed to Changpu, Yuanzhi, Jiuizi, Sangpiaoxiao, Yizhi, Suanzaoren, Muli, Longgu, Suoyang, etc., made into pills, cured well.
Another middle-aged man with nocturnal emission, took Zhenzhu Fen Wan etc., with no effect. Also treated with Yuanzhi, Changpu etc., cured immediately.
*[Bencao Yanyi]* Zhuling Wan
Use Banxia 1 liang, broken bean-sized, Zhuling powder 2 liang. First fry half the Banxia until yellow, not burnt, remove fire toxicity, take Banxia powder, make pills with paste, size of Sophora japonica seeds. When dry, fry the remaining half of Zhuling powder with the pills until slightly cracked, put in clay jar to store. Take 30-40 pills before meals on an empty stomach with warm wine/salt water. Often take, with warm wine between Shen and Wei hours. This is an ancient formula, currently popular, but few understand its use. Banxia has draining properties, Zhuling guides water, implying the meaning of unblocking Kidney closure to allow Qi flow. I kept this medicine in my medical bag, gave 3-5 doses in emergencies, all effective. Lin Jiancheng Bimin also cured after several doses.
Detailing these formulas for nocturnal emission, more than half belong to stagnation. Quack doctors do not know the stagnation, only using astringents like Longgu, Muli to secure collapse, not knowing that more astringency leads to more stagnation, making the disease worse. Often treated a young man with nocturnal emission and white turbidity, gas rushing up from lower abdomen, daily waist heat, cool at dusk, cold hands and feet when waist heats, no Qi in anterior yin, warm hands and feet when waist heat subsides. More flatulence in morning, belching in evening, occasional tremors, emission every 10-20 days, pulse wiry, slippery, large in morning, surging, large at noon. I knew there was stagnation, first used Chenxiang Hezhong Wan to purge heavily, then Jiabian Bawu Tang swallowing Zishen Wan 100 pills. If given even a little Gafen or other astringents, emission and turbidity worsened, or twice a night. Then changed to Daochi San large dose decoction, emission and turbidity stopped, gradually stable. Another middle-aged man with nocturnal emission, doctor gave astringents, worsened, emitted continuously for nights. I first gave Shenxiong Wan to purge heavily, then made this Zhuling Wan, both recovered. Also Mr. Danxi treated General Xiao Boshan with turbid urine and uncontrollable slippery essence, hundred medicines failed, tried Dao Cang Fa and stabilized. From this, we see many cases of nocturnal emission belonging to stagnation.
[Worldly Transmission] Treats uncontrollable slippery essence. Use Ju Fang Qingzhou Bai Wanzi, coated with Chen Sha, miraculous effect.
[Wang Haicang] Wujin San Treats nocturnal emission and uncontrollable slippery essence.
Jiu Lei Biejia, take two characters (approx. 2 grams), with half cup clear wine, half small cup child's urine, 7-8 cun old green onion white, decoct together to 70%, mix with dregs, take twice a day. (*Bencao* says: Biejia treats abdominal masses and hard accumulations.)
[Li Dongyuan] Treats men dreaming of intercourse with ghosts, with fluctuating spirit. Scrape Lu Jiaoxie three finger-pinches, take twice a day with wine. Same as *Shiliao*. (*Bencao* says: Lu Jiaoxie drives away bad qi and bad blood.)
*[Yuji Weiyi]* Spermatorrhea and white turbidity, nocturnal ghost intercourse: Xinshu (1 fen, along skin outward 1.5 cun, tonify first then sedate, moxibustion not excessive.) Bairnghuan Shu (1.5 cun, sedate six inhalations, tonify one exhalation.)
*[Zhenjiu Juying]* Another method: Bairnghuan Shu (1.5 cun, moxa 50 zhu, level with Zhongji.) Shenshu, Zhongji (moxa according to age zhu.)
*[Zhenjiu Jicheng]* Another method, Shenshu, Xinshu, Gaohuang, Guanyuan, Sanyinjiao (if not cured, take lower points.)
[Hua Shou] Cold waist and spine, frequent white turbid urine, loss of essence: Pimu (37 zhu.) Ququan (moxa.)
Deficiency consumption loss of essence, Yin retraction, pain in penis: Dahe (37 zhu.) Zhongfeng (moxa.)
[Hua Tuo] Spermatorrhea, exhaustion of Five Zang organs (same as Dongyang): Qugu Duan (4-7 zhu, in center of pubic bone curved like moon, center is it.)
[Hua Shou] Hematuria and essence out: Lieque (prone needle 5 fen.)
*[Jiayi Jing]* Men losing essence, Zhongji governs. Men with seminal overflow, Yin retracting, Dahe governs. Men with seminal overflow, shin soreness unable to stand long, Ran Gu governs. Men with insufficient essence, Taichong governs.
