胸中肿痛;或食积酒积,内蓄伤脾,发黄;或脐腹痛;

胸中肿痛;或者是食积酒积,内蓄损伤脾脏,导致发黄;或者是脐腹疼痛;
Hemorrhoids, anal swelling, dysentery, and strangling wind (a condition characterized by severe throat swelling), hematemesis, hematuria, cough with sputum, toothache, sore throat, and dysuria;
pain in the chest, heart, and abdomen, and difficulty in swallowing.
Postpartum rigidity and inability to speak, lower back pain, gynecological blood disorders, and coldness in the umbilical and abdominal regions;
retained dead fetus attacking the diaphragm. One acupuncture at Lieque (LU7) will cure the disease.
[Note] [1] Internal hemorrhoids, anal swelling, dysentery with red and white discharge, coughing up blood in sputum, hematuria, and swelling and pain of the gums and throat;
dark and scanty urine with difficult urination, pain in the chest, heart, and abdomen, and discomfort in swallowing; postpartum retained blood attacking the Heart Qi,
causing rigidity of the body and inability to speak; or stasis leading to lower back pain and coldness in the umbilical and abdominal areas, fetal death in utero,
failure of the placenta to be expelled, upward attack causing diaphragmatic obstruction. Acupuncture at Lieque (LU7) for all these conditions will surely lead to recovery (Figure 20).
Throat closure (laryngospasm), dysuria with astringency, and chest swelling; bladder Qi pain accompanied by borborygmus; umbilical and abdominal pain due to food and wine stagnation; vomiting, diarrhea, rebellious Stomach Qi, and mastitis;
dry stools, dystocia, coma due to blood loss, accumulations and masses, intestinal wind with rectal bleeding, discomfort in the diaphragm, and plum-pit Qi (globus hystericus);
for regurgitation symptoms, acupuncture at Zhaohai (KI6) is effective.
[Note] [1] Excess fire in the Upper Jiao causing throat closure and obstruction; heat accumulation in the Lower Jiao causing bladder Qi pain and dysuria with astringency;
swelling and pain in the chest; or food and wine stagnation accumulating internally and damaging the Spleen, leading to jaundice; or umbilical and abdominal pain;
or vomiting and diarrhea, rebellious Stomach Qi with vomiting of food, mastitis, dry stool constipation, and difficult labor in women;
pain from blood stasis masses, coma, and persistent rectal bleeding due to intestinal wind; or stagnant Qi in the diaphragm causing depression and discomfort,
resembling plum-pit Qi obstructing the throat, unable to be expectorated or swallowed.
Urgent acupuncture at Zhaohai (KI6) will cause all these symptoms to dissipate naturally (Figure 21).
