论曰脾移热于肝，则为惊衄，盖木克土者也，脾土热气移于肝木，则神魂惊而血行不由
其道，肺主气，开窍于鼻，血随气上，今既妄行，故出于鼻窍而为衄也。
治鼻衄。伏龙肝汤方
伏龙肝 细辛（去苗叶各半两） 芎 （一分） 桂（去粗皮） 白芷 干姜炮 芍药 甘
草（炙锉）
上九味，粗捣筛，每服三钱匕，酒一盏，煎至七分，入生地黄汁一合，更煎一二沸，去
滓温服，日三。
治鼻衄。蒲黄散方
蒲黄 柏子仁研 当归切焙 阿胶炙燥 棕榈烧存性研 乱发灰研各一钱
上六味，捣研为散，每服二钱匕，生藕节自然汁调下，如肺损吐血，用地黄自然汁调下，
肠风下血，用樗根皮煎汤调下，妇人带下，艾汤调下。
治邪热上攻，鼻衄烦闷，比金丸方
郁金（雪水煮令透切曝干一两） 紫石英 白石英 白茯苓（去黑皮） 水银（各一分）
黑铅（半分
上八味，除沙子外，捣研为末，用黄牛胆汁和丸，如弹子大，每服一丸，煎甘草汤放冷
磨下。
治鼻衄睡黄散方
恶实（一两半） 雄黄（研） 马牙消（研） 甘草（生锉各半两） 牛黄（研一钱）
上五味，捣研为散，每服二钱匕，用猪胆汁与新汲水调下，相次便睡，微有汗出为效，
如时气黄发舌胀咽喉肿，及热极者，如前法斟酌多少服。
治鼻衄 鼻方
驼粪
上一味，不以多少，用新藏瓶一个，打开底，入粪在内，烧成灰，取出研细，用麝香少
许研匀，随衄血鼻 之。
治鼻衄。防己散方
防己（生用三两）
上一味，捣罗为细散，每服二钱匕，新汲水调下，老人小儿酒调一钱匕，服更用热汤调
少许，鼻中 气，佳。
治鼻衄。乌沙散方
细烟香墨（二两）
上一味，为细散，每服一钱匕，腊茶清调下。
治鼻衄。地金汤方
生干地黄（焙） 生干藕节（各二两）
上二味，细锉如麻豆，每服三钱匕，水一盏，煎至六分，去滓食后临卧温服。
治肺壅鼻衄。玉尘散方
白面 箬叶灰（各三钱）
上二味，研令匀，分为二服，食后，井华水调下。
治鼻衄。吹鼻方
百叶石榴花
上一味，捣罗为细末，每用少许，吹鼻中。
治鼻衄札耳方
延胡索
上一味捣罗为末，用绵裹札耳内，左衄札右，右衄札左，左右俱衄，则两耳俱札。
治鼻衄。贴鼻方
鹿角胶（不以多少）
上一味，以沸汤浸软，贴鼻坳上，更以酵面调令稀稠得处若左窍出血则涂右边右窍出血
则涂左边。
治鼻衄，贴背膏方
京三棱（大者一枚）
上一味，以湿纸裹，于慢火中煨熟。乘热椎碎、捣罗为细末。醋者面调糊，贴背第三椎
上。
治鼻衄。克效汤方
甘草（炙锉） 桑耳（焙各三分） 枳壳（去瓤麸炒） 大黄（锉炒半两） 麦门冬（去
心焙） 槐实（炒各一两半） 白芷 鸡苏叶 百合 黄 （锉） 白前 连翘 槟榔（锉
各一两） 姜黄（二两）
上一十四味，粗捣筛，每服五钱匕，水一盏半，入生姜三片，同煎至八分，去滓温服。
治鼻衄方
烧乱发灰（一钱） 人中白（半钱） 麝香（一字）
上三味，合研匀，吹少许入鼻中，立效
又方
羊胫炭皮（拍碎炒令通赤一两） 伏龙肝（半两） 麝香（一钱）
上三味，细研如粉，每服二钱匕，冷水调下。或研小蓟汁调下亦得。
治肺积热极，衄血吐血。方
黄明胶末一钱 桑叶末二钱 伏龙肝末一钱半
上三味，研匀为散。糯米饮、调下二钱匕。
治鼻衄。刺蓟汤方
大蓟根一两 相思子半两
上二味。粗捣筛，每服三钱，水一盏，煎至七分，去滓放冷服。
治鼻衄血。葱白汁方
葱白
上以一握捣绞取汁，投酒少许，点三两滴入鼻瘥。
论述：脾脏将热邪转移至肝脏，就会引发惊悸和鼻出血。这是因为木克土（肝木克制脾土），脾土的热气转移到肝木，导致神魂受惊而血液运行不循常道。肺主气，开窍于鼻，血液随着气机上逆，现在既然妄行，所以从鼻窍流出而形成鼻衄。
治疗鼻衄的伏龙肝汤方：
伏龙肝、细辛（去苗叶，各半两）、川芎（一分）、桂枝（去粗皮）、白芷、干姜（炮制）、芍药、甘草（炙后锉碎）。
以上九味药，粗捣筛过，每次服用三钱匕，加酒一盏，煎煮至七分，加入生地黄汁一合，再煎一二沸，去渣温服，每日三次。
治疗鼻衄的蒲黄散方：
蒲黄、柏子仁（研）、当归（切后焙干）、阿胶（炙燥）、棕榈（烧存性后研）、乱发灰（研，各一钱）。
以上六味药，捣研成散剂，每次服用二钱匕，用生藕节自然汁调服；如果是肺损伤导致的吐血，用地黄自然汁调服；肠风下血，用樗根皮煎汤调服；妇人带下，用艾汤调服。
治疗邪热上攻引起的鼻衄烦闷的比金丸方：
郁金（用雪水煮透切片晒干，一两）、紫石英、白石英、白茯苓（去黑皮）、水银（各一分）、黑铅（半分）。
以上八味药，除沙子外，捣研成粉末，用黄牛胆汁和丸，如弹子大小，每次服用一丸，煎甘草汤放冷后磨服。
治疗鼻衄的睡黄散方：
恶实（一两半）、雄黄（研）、马牙消（研）、甘草（生锉，各半两）、牛黄（研，一钱）。
以上五味药，捣研成散剂，每次服用二钱匕，用猪胆汁和新汲水调服，随后便睡，微微出汗为有效；如果是时气病发黄、舌胀咽喉肿，以及热极者，按上述方法酌情增减剂量服用。
治疗鼻衄的鼻方：
驼粪。
取一味药，不限多少，用一个新藏瓶，打开底部，放入粪便在内，烧成灰，取出研细，用少许麝香研匀，随鼻衄血情况塞入鼻孔。
治疗鼻衄的防己散方：
防己（生用，三两）。
取一味药，捣罗成细散，每次服用二钱匕，用新汲水调服；老人小儿用酒调服一钱匕，服药后再喝少许热汤，使鼻中出气，效果佳。
治疗鼻衄的乌沙散方：
细烟香墨（二两）。
取一味药，制成细散，每次服用一钱匕，用腊茶清调服。
治疗鼻衄的地金汤方：
生干地黄（焙）、生干藕节（各二两）。
以上两味药，细锉如麻豆大小，每次服用三钱匕，加水一盏，煎至六分，去渣食后临卧时温服。
治疗肺壅鼻衄的玉尘散方：
白面、箬叶灰（各三钱）。
以上两味药，研令均匀，分为两次服用，食后用井华水调服。
治疗鼻衄的吹鼻方：
百叶石榴花。
取一味药，捣罗成细末，每次用少许，吹入鼻中。
治疗鼻衄的札耳方：
延胡索。
取一味药捣罗成末，用棉包裹塞入耳内，左鼻衄塞右耳，右鼻衄塞左耳，左右都衄则双耳都塞。
治疗鼻衄的贴鼻方：
鹿角胶（不限多少）。
取一味药，用沸汤浸软，贴在鼻坳上，再用酵面调至稀稠适宜，若左鼻孔出血则涂右边，右鼻孔出血则涂左边。
治疗鼻衄的贴背膏方：
京三棱（大者一枚）。
取一味药，用湿纸包裹，在慢火中煨熟。趁热椎碎、捣罗成细末，用醋和面调成糊状，贴在背部第三椎上。
治疗鼻衄的克效汤方：
甘草（炙锉）、桑耳（焙，各三分）、枳壳（去瓤麸炒）、大黄（锉炒，半两）、麦门冬（去心焙）、槐实（炒，各一两半）、白芷、鸡苏叶、百合、黄芪（锉）、白前、连翘、槟榔（锉，各一两）、姜黄（二两）。
以上十四味药，粗捣筛过，每次服用五钱匕，加水一盏半，入生姜三片，同煎至八分，去渣温服。
治疗鼻衄的方剂：
烧乱发灰（一钱）、人中白（半钱）、麝香（一字）。
以上三味药，合研均匀，吹少许入鼻中，立即见效。
又一方：
羊胫炭皮（拍碎炒令通赤，一两）、伏龙肝（半两）、麝香（一钱）。
以上三味药，细研如粉，每次服用二钱匕，冷水调服。或者研小蓟汁调服也可以。
治疗肺积热极，衄血吐血的方剂：
黄明胶末一钱、桑叶末二钱、伏龙肝末一钱半。
以上三味药，研匀成散剂。用糯米饮调服二钱匕。
Commentary: When spleen heat transfers to the liver, it results in fright and epistaxis (nosebleed). This is because wood overacts on earth (liver wood controls spleen earth); when spleen earth heat transfers to liver wood, the spirit and soul are frightened, causing blood to flow abnormally. The lung governs qi and opens into the nose; blood follows qi rising upward. Since the blood is now flowing recklessly, it exits through the nasal orifice, resulting in epistaxis.
Treatment for epistaxis. Fulonggan Tang (Dragon's House Earth Decoction) Formula:
Fulonggan (Dragon's House Earth), Xixin (Asari Radix et Rhizoma, de-rooted and de-leafed, each 0.5 liang), Chuanxiong (Ligusticum Chuanxiong Rhizome, 1 fen), Guizhi (Cinnamon Twig, bark removed), Baizhi (Angelicae Dahuricae Radix), Ganjiang (Dried Ginger, processed), Shaoyao (Paeoniae Radix), Gancao (Licorice Root, roasted and cut).
The above nine ingredients are coarsely crushed and sifted. Each dose consists of 3 qianbi, decocted with one zhan of wine until reduced to 7/10. Add one he of fresh Rehmanniae Radix juice, boil for one or two more boils, strain, and take warm. Administer three times daily.
Treatment for epistaxis. Puhuang San (Lygodii Spora Powder) Formula:
Puhuang (Lygodii Spora), Baiziren (Biota Seed, pounded), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix, sliced and dried), Ejiao (Donkey-hide Gelatin, roasted dry), Zonglv (Palmae Folium Carbonisatum, burned to retain efficacy and pounded), Luangfa Hui (Ash of Human Hair, pounded, each 1 qian).
The above six ingredients are pounded and ground into a powder. Each dose is 2 qianbi, taken with natural juice from fresh Lotus Rhizome Node. If due to lung injury and hemoptysis, use natural juice of Rehmanniae Radix. For intestinal wind bleeding, use decoction of Buteae Cortex. For leukorrhea in women, use Artemisia Argyi Tea.
Treatment for epistaxis and irritability caused by pathogenic heat attacking upwards. Bijin Wan (Gold Comparison Pill) Formula:
Yujin (Curcumae Radix, boiled in snow water until penetrated, sliced, dried, 1 liang), Zhi Shiyin (Fluorite), Bai Shiyin (Quartz), Baifuling (Poria, black skin removed), Shuiyin (Mercurius), Heiqian (Lead, each 1 fen).
The above eight ingredients, excluding sand, are pounded and ground into powder. Mix with bile of a yellow ox to form pills the size of a bullet. Take one pill per dose, grinding it down with cooled Licorice Decoction.
Treatment for epistaxis. Suihuang San (Sleeping Yellow Powder) Formula:
Eshi (Fructus Arctii), Xionghuang (Realgar, pounded), Mayaxiao (Sodium Sulfate, pounded), Gancao (Licorice Root, raw and cut, each 0.5 liang), Niuhuang (Calculus Bovis, pounded, 1 qian).
The above five ingredients are pounded and ground into a powder. Each dose is 2 qianbi, taken with pig bile and fresh drawn water. Sleep immediately after taking; slight sweating indicates efficacy. For epidemic jaundice with tongue swelling and throat swelling, or extreme heat, adjust the dosage according to the above method.
Treatment for epistaxis. Bi Fang (Nasal Formula):
Tuofen (Camel Dung).
Take an unspecified amount, place it in a new jar with the bottom opened, burn it to ash, remove and grind finely. Mix with a small amount of Moschus (Musk) evenly. Apply to the nostril corresponding to the bleeding side.
Treatment for epistaxis. Fangji San (Stephania Tetrandra Powder) Formula:
Fangji (Stephaniae Tetrandrae Radix, raw, 3 liang).
One ingredient, pounded and sieved into a fine powder. Each dose is 2 qianbi, taken with fresh drawn water. For elderly and children, take 1 qianbi with wine. After taking, drink a little hot water to induce airflow from the nose, which is beneficial.
Treatment for epistaxis. Wusha San (Black Sand Powder) Formula:
Xiyanxiangmo (Fine Smoke Inkstick, 2 liang).
One ingredient, made into a fine powder. Each dose is 1 qianbi, taken with strong tea infusion.
Treatment for epistaxis. Dijin Tang (Earth Gold Decoction) Formula:
Sheng Gan Dihuang (Dried Raw Rehmanniae Radix, baked), Sheng Gan Oujie (Dried Raw Lotus Rhizome Node, each 2 liang).
The above two ingredients are finely cut like hemp seeds. Each dose is 3 qianbi, decocted with one zhan of water until reduced to 6/10. Strain and take warm after meals before retiring.
Treatment for lung congestion and epistaxis. Yuchen San (Jade Dust Powder) Formula:
Baifan (Wheat Flour), Ruoyehui (Bamboo Leaf Ash, each 3 qian).
The above two ingredients are ground evenly and divided into two doses. Take after meals with well-water drawn at dawn.
Treatment for epistaxis. Chuibi Fang (Blow-in-Nose Formula):
Baiye Shiliuhua (Pomegranate Flower with Many Petals).
One ingredient, pounded and sieved into a fine powder. Use a small amount to blow into the nose.
Treatment for epistaxis. Zhier Fang (Plug-Ear Formula):
Yanhusuo (Corydalis Rhizome).
One ingredient, pounded into powder, wrapped in cotton, and plugged into the ear. For left epistaxis, plug the right ear; for right epistaxis, plug the left ear; for bilateral epistaxis, plug both ears.
Treatment for epistaxis. Tieni Fang (Paste-on-Nose Formula):
Lu Jiao Jiao (Deer Antler Glue, unspecified amount).
One ingredient, softened in boiling water, applied to the nasal depression. Adjust the consistency with fermented dough. If the left nostril bleeds, apply to the right side; if the right nostril bleeds, apply to the left side.
Treatment for epistaxis. Tiebei Gao (Paste-on-Back Plaster) Formula:
Jingsanleng (Burreed Tuber, large one piece).
One ingredient, wrapped in wet paper, roasted slowly over low fire until cooked. Crush while hot and sieve into a fine powder. Mix with vinegar and flour paste, apply to the third thoracic vertebra on the back.
Treatment for epistaxis. Kexiao Tang (Rapid Efficacy Decoction) Formula:
Gancao (Licorice Root, roasted and cut), Sang'er (Auricularia Judae, baked, each 3 fen), Zhike (Aurantii Fructus, pith removed, stir-fried with bran), Dahuang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma, cut and stir-fried, 0.5 liang), Maimendong (Ophiopogonis Radix, heart removed, baked), Huaishi (Sophorae Tonkinensis Fruit, stir-fried, each 1.5 liang), Baizhi (Angelicae Dahuricae Radix), Jisu Ye (Perillae Leaf), Baihe (Lilii Bulbus), Huangqi (Astragali Radix, cut), Baiqian (Cynanchi Stauntonii Radix), Lianqiao (Forsythiae Fructus), Binglang (Arecae Semen, cut, each 1 liang), Jianghuang (Curcumae Longae Rhizoma, 2 liang).
The above fourteen ingredients are coarsely crushed and sifted. Each dose is 5 qianbi, decocted with 1.5 zhan of water and three slices of fresh ginger until reduced to 8/10. Strain and take warm.
Treatment for epistaxis Formula:
Shao Luangfa Hui (Ash of Burnt Human Hair, 1 qian), Renzhongbai (Calcined Human Alispongiosa, 0.5 qian), Shexiang (Moschus, one character).
The above three ingredients are mixed and ground evenly. Blow a small amount into the nose for immediate effect.
Another Formula:
Yangjing Tanpi (Charred Sheep Tibia Skin, smashed and stir-fried until red-hot, 1 liang), Fulonggan (Dragon's House Earth, 0.5 liang), Shexiang (Moschus, 1 qian).
The above three ingredients are finely ground like powder. Each dose is 2 qianbi, taken with cold water. Alternatively, mix with juice of Cirsii Japonici Herba.
Treatment for extreme accumulation of heat in the lungs, resulting in epistaxis and hematemesis. Formula:
Huangming Jiao Mo (Powder of Yellow Clear Gelatin, 1 qian), Sangye Mo (Powder of Mori Folium, 2 qian), Fulonggan Mo (Powder of Dragon's House Earth, 1.5 qian).
The above three ingredients are mixed evenly into a powder. Take 2 qianbi with glutinous rice drink.
Treatment for epistaxis. Ciji Tang (Thistle Decoction) Formula:
Daji Gen (Radix Cirsii Japonici, 1 liang), Xiangsi Zi (Abrus Precatorius Seed, 0.5 liang).
The above two ingredients are coarsely crushed and sifted. Each dose is 3 qian, decocted with one zhan of water until reduced to 7/10. Strain and take when cool.
Treatment for epistaxis. Congbai Zhi Fang (Scallion White Juice Formula):
Congbai (Scallion White).
Take a handful, pound and squeeze to extract juice. Add a little wine, instill two or three drops into the nose for cure.
