治疗多年咳嗽，喉中发出像拉风箱一样的声音，导致无法坐卧的方剂。
紫菀、贝母、半夏、桑白皮、百部、射干（各五分），皂荚、干姜、款冬花、细辛、橘皮、鬼督邮（各四分），白石英、杏仁（各八分），蜈蚣（二条）。
以上十六味药研成细末，用蜂蜜调和制成梧桐子大小的丸药，温水送服十丸，每日两次，逐渐增加至二十丸。（崔氏方中没有半夏、射干）
治疗三十年上气咳嗽，咳吐脓血，喘息不能平卧的方剂。
款冬花、干姜、蜀椒、吴茱萸、桂心、石菖蒲、人参、细辛、荛花（各五分），紫菀、甘草、桔梗、防风、芫花、茯苓、皂荚（各三分）。
以上十六味药研成细末，用蜂蜜制成梧桐子大小的丸药，酒送服三丸，每日三次。
又一方：款冬花、紫菀、细辛、蜀椒、桂心、石菖蒲、人参、甘草、防风、石斛、川芎、当归、藁本、白术、半夏、天雄、钟乳、麻黄（各三两），独活（二两），乌头、附子、芫花（各一两），桃仁（二十枚），大枣（二十五枚）。
以上二十四味药研成细末，用蜂蜜制成梧桐子大小的丸药，酒送服二十丸，每日两次。如果效果不明显则增加剂量。用酒浸泡后服用也可以。
又一方：款冬花、紫菀、干姜、桂心（各三两），细辛（二分），杏仁、皂荚、石菖蒲、乌头（各一分），川椒（五合），吴茱萸（六合）。
以上十二味药研成细末，用蜂蜜制成梧桐子大小的丸药，酒送服五丸，白天三次，夜间一次。患咳嗽二十年者，不超过五十日可愈。患有咳嗽、喉鸣、上气症状者，服用一剂即可彻底痊愈。
治疗肺损伤导致的咳嗽吐脓血，肠道涩滞、背痛、不能进食，怕风、视力昏暗、足胫寒冷的方剂：
白胶、生姜（各五两），桂心、人参、紫菀（各二两），地黄（切半升），桑白皮（切二升），川芎、大麻仁、饴糖（各一升），大麦（二升），大枣（二十枚）。
以上十二味药切碎，用水一斗五升先煮大麦，取汁一斗，去掉麦渣放入药物，煎煮取汁三升，分五次服用。

Zi Wan (Asteris Radix et Rhizoma), Bei Mu (Fritillariae Bulbus), Ban Xia (Pinelliae Rhizoma Preparatum), Sang Bai Pi (Mori Cortex), Bai Bu (Stemonae Radix), She Gan (Belamcandae Rhizoma) (each 5 fen); Zao Jiao (Gleditsiae Fructus Spinosus), Gan Jiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma), Kuan Dong Hua (Farfarae Flos), Xi Xin (Asari Radix et Rhizoma), Ju Pi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium), Gui Du You (Dichroae Radix) (each 4 fen); Bai Shi Ying (Quartzum Album), Xing Ren (Armeniacae Semen Amarum) (each 8 fen); Wu Gong (Scolopendra) (2 pieces).
The above sixteen ingredients are ground into powder, mixed with honey to form pills the size of a walnut seed. Take ten pills with warm water, twice daily, gradually increasing the dose to twenty pills. (Cui's formula does not include Ban Xia and She Gan.)
A formula for treating chronic upper-jiao Qi rebellion and cough for thirty years, expectoration of pus and blood, wheezing, and inability to lie flat.
Kuan Dong Hua (Farfarae Flos), Gan Jiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma), Shu Jiao (Zanthoxyli Pericarpium), Wu Zhu Yu (Evodiae Fructus), Gui Xin (Cinnamomi Ramulus), Chang Pu (Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma), Ren Shen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma), Xi Xin (Asari Radix et Rhizoma), Rao Hua (Euphorbiae Thunbergianae Radix) (each 5 fen); Zi Wan (Asteris Radix et Rhizoma), Gan Cao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma), Jie Geng (Platycodonis Radix), Fang Feng (Saposhnikoviae Radix), Yuan Hua (Genkwa Flos), Fu Ling (Poria), Zao Jiao (Gleditsiae Fructus Spinosus) (each 3 fen).
The above sixteen ingredients are ground into powder, mixed with honey to form pills the size of a walnut seed. Take three pills with wine, three times daily.

The above twenty-four ingredients are ground into powder, mixed with honey to form pills the size of a walnut seed. Take twenty pills with wine, twice daily. Increase the dose if necessary. Soaking in wine for consumption is also acceptable.
Another formula: Kuan Dong Hua (Farfarae Flos), Zi Wan (Asteris Radix et Rhizoma), Gan Jiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma), Gui Xin (Cinnamomi Ramulus) (each 3 liang); Xi Xin (Asari Radix et Rhizoma) (2 fen); Xing Ren (Armeniacae Semen Amarum), Zao Jiao (Gleditsiae Fructus Spinosus), Shi Chang Pu (Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma), Wu Tou (Aconiti Radix) (each 1 fen); Chuan Jiao (Zanthoxyli Pericarpium) (5 he); Wu Zhu Yu (Evodiae Fructus) (6 he).
The above twelve ingredients are ground into powder, mixed with honey to form pills the size of a walnut seed. Take five pills with wine, three times during the day and once at night. For a cough persisting for twenty years, recovery will occur within fifty days. For patients suffering from cough, wheezing, and upper-jiao Qi rebellion, one course of treatment ensures permanent cure.
A formula for treating lung injury resulting in cough with expectoration of pus and blood, intestinal stagnation, back pain, anorexia, aversion to wind, dim vision, and coldness in the lower legs and shins.
Bai Jiao (Colla Corii Asini), Sheng Jiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens) (each 5 liang); Gui Xin (Cinnamomi Ramulus), Ren Shen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma), Zi Wan (Asteris Radix et Rhizoma) (each 2 liang); Di Huang (Rehmanniae Radix) (cut, half sheng); Sang Bai Pi (Mori Cortex) (cut, 2 sheng); Chuan Xiong (Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma), Da Ma Ren (Cannabis Semen), Yi Tang (Maltose) (each 1 sheng); Da Mai (Hordei Fructus Germinatus) (2 sheng); Da Zao (Jujubae Fructus) (25 pieces).
The above twelve ingredients are chopped. Boil the barley in 1.5 dou of water until reduced to 1 dou. Remove the barley, add the herbs, and boil until 3 sheng of liquid remains. Divide into five doses for administration.
