紫草饮子
治如前。以紫草二两细锉。用百沸汤一大盏沃之。
化毒汤
治如前。（本方治疮疹欲出。浑身壮热。情意不佳。不思饮食。服之即内消。已出。十解六七。全出者。当
日须三服。立效）
嫩紫草（去粗梗） 升麻 甘草（炙各半两）
上锉如麻豆。以水二盏。糯米五十粒。同煎至一大盏。去滓放温。量大小。
三四次与服。一方。疮疹未出。服之内消。已出减轻。全出即当日焦痂。三服立效。
人参散
治疮疹才觉出便服。令稀少轻可。
人参 白术 贯众 甘草（炙） 羌活（去芦各等分）
上为细末。每服一钱。水一盏。煎至六分。去渣温服。无时。
紫草如圣汤
治疮疹才初出。便急与服之。令减毒轻可。乳儿与乳母兼服之。断乳令自服。
紫草（去粗梗二两） 陈橘皮（去白焙干一两）
上为末。每服一大钱。水一盏。入葱白二寸。煎至六分。去渣温服。无时。
腊胭脂 疮疹才初出。便用涂眼周遭。以防疮子入眼也。左右悉涂之。
黄柏膏（又名护目膏）
疮疹才出。急用以涂面，从耳前眼眶边浓涂之。以防疮子入眼。及面作瘢痕。能早用。即能护目。及面上不
生。若用迟。纵出亦少。涂毕后。可用胡荽酒喷发。
黄柏（一两去粗皮 一方用蜜炙一方只锉碎用） 新绿豆（一两拣净 一方用一两半） 甘草（半两生 一
方用四两分两少者出妙选更有红蓝花一两分两多者出钱氏只三味 董汲方同）
上为细末。用好生芝麻油调为膏。从耳前眼 外及腮面涂之。日三五次。
胡荽酒
以胡荽四两细切。用酒三盏煎沸。沃胡荽。便以物合之。勿令透气。候冷。滤取胡荽焙干。以红
绢袋子盛之。缝合。令乳母并儿带之。其酒吸一两口。从儿项下喷，及肩背胸腹四肢令遍。不得喷头面。余酒与
乳母饮之为佳。能令疮出快速。妙选不论及喷。余皆并同。又于儿左右常令多多频带胡荽。能辟污秽之气故也。
鼠粘子汤
治疮初生。才作赤点。毒瓦斯未得透皮肤出作疮。恐出不快。而微发之。
鼠粘子（二两炒香） 荆芥穗（一两） 甘草（半两炙） 防风（去芦并叉枝）
上为末。每服二钱。沸汤调服。及利喉膈。化涎止嗽。一方只鼠粘子一两。甘草半两为末。每服二钱。水
一盏。煎至八分。去渣温服。无时。
紫草散
治如前。钩藤钩子紫草茸等分。为细末。每服一字或半钱。温酒调下。无时。此先微用药发之。经夕未出。
加药发之。
必胜散
治疮疹出。未能遍匀。服之能透肌解毒。以牛蒡子。不限多少。炒令香熟。为细末。每服一钱。入荆芥二
穗。水一盏。煎至七分。放温服。无时。
龙脑膏子
治疮疹未透。心烦狂躁。气喘妄语。或如见鬼。以生龙脑半钱研细。旋滴猪心血和丸鸡头肉大。每服一丸。煎紫草
汤化下。少时心神烦躁便定。得睡。疮子已发得透了。自然根据常法取安。此方亦治黑陷倒 者。如用以温酒化下。
又方 只用猪血一橡斗许。脑子一小块。研细。酒少许和服之。极有神效之验。此沈存中所用之方也。
安斑散
治疮疹出快肥红。平调之。
川升麻 赤茯苓 绵黄 羌活（去芦各一两） 人参（去芦） 枳壳（去穣麸炒） 桔梗（去芦） 甘草（各半
两）
上为细末。每服一大钱。水一小盏。入紫草薄荷各少许。煎至五分。去滓温服。无时。
快斑散
此方治病如前。
贯众（一两拣洗净焙干） 赤芍药（一两） 甘草（半两） 川升麻（半两） 枳壳（麸炒去穣半两）
上为末。每服一钱。水一小盏。入竹叶七片。煎至五分。去滓温服。无时。其效如神。
抱龙丸
治如前。天南星为末。用腊月牛胆汁和成剂。再酿荫百日而干四两。如无。只以浆水或新水浸天南星三日。
候透软。煮三五沸取出。乘软去皮脐。只取白软者。薄切焙干。炒黄色为末。用八两，以甘草二两半擘破。水二
碗浸一宿。慢火煮至半碗。去渣。旋旋洒入天南星末内。慢慢研之。令甘草水尽。次入于余药。
天竺黄（一两） 雄黄（一分研飞） 辰砂（半两研飞） 麝香（半两研）
上同匀末。煮甘草膏子和丸皂子大。温水化服。百日儿一丸。分三四服。五岁儿一丸。若用腊月中雪水煮
甘草和药。尤佳。此药治伤风伤寒。温疫风热。痰实咳嗽。惊风潮搐。蛊毒中毒温壮。
及室女白带。钱乙治疮疹出快红肥。只以此药平调。最好。
短剧犀角地黄汤
治疮疹太甚。解散之。
赤芍药（一分半） 生地黄（四两） 牡丹皮（去心半两） 犀角屑（半两无即以升麻代）
上为粗末。每服二钱。水一小盏。煎至六分。去渣温服。有大热如狂者。加黄芩半两。更量大小与服。
木香汤
治疮疹太盛烦痛。
青木香（一两） 丁香 薰陆香 白矾（各半两） 麝香（二钱）
上为粗末。每服二钱。水一小盏。煎至六分。去渣温服。热盛者。加犀角屑半两。轻者去白矾。大效。
猪胆醋
治疮疹内发盛者。醋四两。大猪胆一个。取汁用。合煎三四沸。每半合上下。量大小与之。日四五服。无
时。
莱菔汁
治疮疹出不快。以开花萝卜煎汁。时时与饮。
紫草茸汁
治如前。以紫草茸水煎汁服。
活血散
治如前。以白芍药为末。每服半钱。或一字。温酒调下。如只欲止痛者。温熟水调下。无时。
蝉蜕饮子
治如前。以蝉蜕十枚。去泥土。洗净碎之。用水三大盏。煎至八分。去渣分二服。出不快者。带热服之。若

四圣散

川芎升麻汤
治疮疹已出。未能匀遍。或毒瓦斯壅遏。虽出不快。此药御风透肌。发疮甚效。

解毒汤
治脏腑蕴热。积毒发泄。斑疮稠密。脓血大盛。狂躁发渴。咽嗌不利。遍身溃烂。苦无全肤。不能转侧。
疼痛不任。
生地黄（四两） 犀角屑 白芍药 牡丹皮（去心各半两）
上为粗末。每服一钱。水七分盏。煎至五分。去渣放温服之。
黑龙散
治小儿疮疹才发。服冷药伏 。三日间危笃。急进此药。
麻黄（去根节三分） 竹茹（一分） 蝎梢（二十一个） 苏木（一分） 乌龙土（一分乃火团也）
上为细末。每服半钱。水五分。煎至三分。温服。
白虎化斑汤
治疮疹赤黑。出不快。毒盛烦躁。或云白虎汤。有为大人药者。殊不知孙真人言。大人小儿为治不别。但用药多少
耳。
石膏（四两捶碎） 知母（一两半锉） 甘草（炙三分） 人参（去芦半两）
上为末。每服二钱。水一盏。入粳米二十粒。同煎至半盏。去渣温服。小儿量大小分减。初春深秋。冬月寒时。加
枣煎服。并乳母兼服。大妙。断乳儿只自服。
神通散
治疮疹倒 。伏陷不出。毒瓦斯稍轻。大小便通利者。
地龙（紧者去土微炒一两） 朱砂（一两别研） 生干地黄（一两以上先为末）
上同拌匀。每服一字。煎胡荽酒少许。同温汤调下。无时。
如圣散
治疮疹已生。反倒 内陷。舌缩。啼声不出。腹胀肚急。一切恶证。用蛇蜕皮。于灯焰烧。先用碗一只在
下。才烧焰绝。放在碗内。急用碗一只覆之。不令透气。良久揭开。细研为末。每服一字或
半钱。用藿香汤调下。若变红活时。则用牛蒡子炒熟为细末。每服二钱。水一盏。煎至六分。放冷澄清。以匙抄
清汁。频频与服。能滋润咽喉肺经。大解疮毒。
七神散
治疮疹毒瓦斯内攻。黑紫倒陷伏 。危恶之候。
腊月 猪血（新瓦罐盛密封至渗泣干秤一两。余血依旧封收之以备再合要用） 牙硝（一两） 硼砂 牛
黄麝香 龙脑（各一钱细研别入）
上拌匀研细。以瓷盒贮之。每二岁儿用一钱。新水调服。痢下恶物。疮子红活为度。又一方。更有朱砂细末
一钱。余并同。名救生散。治如上。甚者不过再服。神验无比。又一方。无硼砂。却有腻粉朱砂各一钱。同研
匀。名无比散。小 猪尾上血三五滴相拌。小者一字。乳汁调抹口中。大者半钱。新水调下。余并同。
宣毒膏
治如前。曾经大效。神妙。
朱砂（一两研水飞） 乳香（一两研） 甘草（细末半两） 牙硝（半两研） 麝香（一分研） 生龙脑
（一分研）
上于腊月八日。取 猪尾后刺血一升。用新瓦盆盛。入诸药。同拌搅匀。以一宽大旧竹筒。底留一节。都入
在内。用纸数重密盖。紧系封合。却于筒口边通一窍子。以麻索系垂在大粪坑屋梁上。至清明日取出曝干。更入
龙麝各一钱。研细匀。滴水和丸皂子大。每服一丸。煎人参汤化下。若毒盛。疮子倒 变黑。服之则红活而长。
猪血脑子
治疮疹黑紫。倒 不出。生龙脑一字细研。猪尾上取血半蛤蜊壳。二味相和。以帛子裹薄荷揉
汁半合。调上件药匀。于汤中烫温。作一服饮之。神验。
又方 取小猪儿尾尖血三五滴。研生龙脑末少许。新水调下。治如前。又一方。治疮疹黑 恶候。医所不治
者。用 猪第二番血清半合。酒半合。研龙脑细末少许。和搅令匀。服之。利一两行。十救十人。大验。小者
量与。又一方。治疮疹发。心间有热。或误服热药。致蓄热在心。昏冒不省人事。疮子黑 。用新杀猪心一个。
取心中血。以生龙脑一字。同研合作一丸。新汲水化下。未省者再服。又一方。治疮疹黑 倒陷。于腊日收生猪
血。新瓦瓶中密封。候自然渗泣至干。每用半钱许。研散。入麝香少许。同匀细。新水调下。其疮变红便出。以
上数方。皆与沈存中龙脑膏相似。少有异尔。并经大
验。今俱录之。
人齿散
治疮疹黑 。发搐危困。以人牙齿三五枚。炙令黄。一方存性研为末。入麝香少许。每半钱。温酒少许调
下。（一方用乳香汤调下）沈存中言。屡见人用之效。
白母丁散
治如前。以白丁香为末。入麝少许。研匀。每服一字。米饮调下，无时。
桃胶汤
治如前。以桃胶煎汤。饮之大效。一方以水熬成膏。温酒调下。无时。
又方 治如前。以黑狗一只。牢系住。不与物吃一两日。候肠中旧粪尽。与生粟米吃。候粟米粪下。于活水
中净淘。只留化不尽米。曝干收之。每用二钱。再淘净。研为细末。入麝香少许。新水调下。顷刻间疮变红活。
百祥丸（一名南阳丸）
以红牙大戟。不拘多少阴干。浆煮软去骨。日中曝干。复纳汁中煮汁尽。焙干为末。水和丸粟米大。每服一
二十丸。研赤脂麻汤送下。无时。吐痢是效。
牛李膏（又名必胜膏）
以牛李子不拘多少。须于九月后取之。乃野生道边。至秋结实。黑子成穗。九月后乃得成熟者。气全故也。
烂研。绢滤取汁。于石银器中熬成膏。可丸时秤。每膏二两。入研细麝香末半钱和匀。丸桐子大。每二岁儿一
丸。或丸作皂子大。量大小分减用。以浆水煎杏胶汤化下。凡疮疹黑紫倒 者。不过再服。当取下恶血。或如鱼
子恶物。其疮黑陷于皮下者。即红大而出。
百祥丸牛李膏。钱乙用此二药。治疮疹恶候，见于皮肤之下不出。或出而不长。反变黑紫。倒 内陷。一切
危急。用百祥丸以泻膀胱之府。减肾气不旺。用牛
李膏为治。则病得从顺也。董汲云。汲小年自病此几殆。父母已不忍睨。服此牛李膏得安然。此方得于世甚久。
惟收得不知早晚。故无效。今以收得。并载之。
金液丹
保生方论小儿疮疹。误服凉药太过。身冷疮陷。不红活。脉沉细者。急投金液丹麻子大一二百粒。或有可生
之意。至儿困极。则无及矣。（方在和剂集中）
调肝散
治疮疹平调肝经。使毒瓦斯通流。疮不入眼。
生犀角（镑屑一分） 草龙胆（去芦半分） 黄 （半两炙锉） 甘草（一分炒） 大黄（一分炒过）
桑白皮（一分炙锉） 钩藤钩子（一分） 麻黄（一分去根节） 石膏（半两研） 栝蒌实（半两去皮）
上为散。每服二钱。水一盏。煎至五分。去滓温服。无时。
兔肝丸
治疮疹入眼。初觉眼肿痛。便时时看之。若睛上无疮。即无害。若有时。须先服清凉饮子。每日食后一服。
取微利以去其毒。然后服此药并下方。虽有赤白障膜遮交其睛。但瞳子不破陷者。皆可治。
将药物研成粗末。每两岁大的幼儿用二钱药，加水一盏，煎至六分，去渣后温服。
随时服用。
消毒散
治疗疮疹无论是否发出都可以服用。未发出时用于解毒，已发出时用于减轻毒性。
牛蒡子（二两，炒，用纸衬垫） 甘草（半两，锉碎，炒） 荆芥穗（一分）
将药物研成粗末。每次服用一大钱，加水一盏，煎至五分，去渣后温服。患有痢疾者不可服用。如果咽喉肿痛，尤其适宜服用。
另一配方中，还有防风一两，荆芥穗也是一两，这是《千金方》中的方子。
紫草饮子
治疗方法同上。取紫草二两，细锉碎，用刚沸腾的大盏开水冲泡。
化毒汤
治疗方法同上。（本方治疗疮疹欲出之时，全身高热，情绪不佳，不思饮食，服用后毒素在体内消散；若已发出，可解除六七成的毒性；若完全发出，当天需服用三次，立即见效。）
嫩紫草（去掉粗梗） 升麻 甘草（炙，各半两）
将药物锉碎如麻豆大小，加水二盏，糯米五十粒，同煎至一大盏，去渣放温，根据患儿年龄大小，分三四次服用。
另一配方：疮疹未发出时服用可使毒素内消，已发出则减轻毒性，完全发出后当天即可结痂，服用三次立效。
人参散
治疗疮疹刚觉察到发出时就服用，能使疮疹稀少、病情轻缓。
人参 白术 贯众 甘草（炙） 羌活（去芦，各等分）
将药物研成细末。每次服用一钱，加水一盏，煎至六分，去渣后温服。随时服用。
紫草如圣汤
治疗疮疹刚刚初发时，便急于给予服用，以减轻毒性，使病情轻缓。哺乳期的婴儿与其母亲同时服用；断奶后的婴儿自行服用。

将药物研成末。每次服用一大钱，加水一盏，加入葱白二寸，煎至六分，去渣后温服。随时服用。
腊胭脂
疮疹刚刚初发时，便用来涂抹眼睛周围，以防止疮疹进入眼睛。左右眼都要涂抹。
黄柏膏（又名护目膏）
疮疹刚发出时，急用此膏涂抹面部，从耳前眼眶边浓涂，以防止疮疹进入眼睛，以及面部留下瘢痕。若能早用，就能保护眼睛，且面上不生疮。若使用过晚，即使发出也较少。涂抹完毕后，可用胡荽酒喷洒以促进发透。
黄柏（一两，去粗皮；一方用蜜炙，一方只锉碎用） 新绿豆（一两，拣净；一方用一两半） 甘草（半两，生用；一方用四两，分量少者出自妙选，另有红蓝花一两，分量多者出自钱氏，只有三味药；董汲方相同）
将药物研成细末，用好生芝麻油调制成膏。从耳前眼外及腮面涂抹，每天三到五次。
胡荽酒
取胡荽四两，细切，用酒三盏煎沸，浇淋在胡荽上，随即用物体盖住，不让透气。待冷却后，滤取胡荽焙干，用红绢袋子盛装，缝合，让乳母和婴儿佩戴。饮酒一两口，从婴儿项下喷洒，遍及肩背胸腹四肢，不得喷洒头面部。剩余的酒给乳母饮用为佳。能促使疮疹快速发出。妙选方不涉及喷洒，其余都相同。另外，常让婴儿左右多多频繁佩戴胡荽，因为胡荽能辟除污秽之气。
鼠粘子汤
治疗疮疹初生，刚出现红点，毒气尚未透过皮肤发出成为疮疹，担心发出缓慢，轻微地发散它。
鼠粘子（即牛蒡子，二两，炒香） 荆芥穗（一两） 甘草（半两，炙） 防风（去芦并叉枝）
将药物研成末。每次服用二钱，用沸水调服。也能利喉膈，化痰止嗽。另一配方只用鼠粘子一两，甘草半两研成末，每次服用二钱，加水一盏，煎至八分，去渣后温服。随时服用。
紫草散
治疗方法同上。钩藤钩子和紫草茸等分，研成细末。每次服用一字或半钱，用温酒调下。随时服用。这是先用少量药物发散它，经过一夜仍未发出，再加药发散。
必胜散
治疗疮疹发出，未能均匀分布。服用此方能透肌解毒。用牛蒡子，不限多少，炒至香熟，研成细末。每次服用一钱，加入荆芥两穗，加水一盏，煎至七分，放温后服用。随时服用。
龙脑膏子
治疗疮疹未透发，心烦狂躁，气喘胡言乱语，或者像看见鬼一样。取生龙脑半钱研细，随时滴入猪心血中和丸，做成鸡头肉大小。每次服用一丸，用煎好的紫草汤化开送服。不久心神烦躁就会安定，能够入睡，疮疹已经发透，自然按照常规方法处理以求安宁。此方也治疗黑陷倒靥的情况。如果使用，用温酒化开送服。
又一方：只用猪血约一橡斗许，脑子一小块，研细，加少许酒调和服用。极有神效验证。这是沈存中所用的方子。
安斑散
治疗疮疹发出快、肥大、色红，平调之。
川升麻 赤茯苓 绵黄（黄芪） 羌活（去芦，各一两） 人参（去芦） 枳壳（去穣，麸炒） 桔梗（去芦） 甘草（各半两）
将药物研成细末。每次服用一大钱，加一小盏水，加入少许紫草和薄荷，煎至五分，去渣后温服。随时服用。
快斑散
此方治疗疾病同上。
贯众（一两，拣洗净，焙干） 赤芍药（一两） 甘草（半两） 川升麻（半两） 枳壳（麸炒去穣，半两）
将药物研成末。每次服用一钱，加一小盏水，加入七片竹叶，煎至五分，去渣后温服。随时服用。其效果如神。
抱龙丸
治疗方法同上。天南星研成末，用腊月牛胆汁和成药剂，再阴干百日而成，重四两。如果没有，只用浆水或新水浸泡天南星三天，待其透彻变软，煮三五沸后取出，趁软去皮脐，只取白软部分，薄切焙干，炒黄研成末，用八两，加上甘草二两半掰破，加水两碗浸泡一夜，慢火煮至半碗，去渣，慢慢洒入天南星末内，慢慢研磨，使甘草水吸尽。然后加入其他药物。
天竺黄（一两） 雄黄（一分，研飞） 辰砂（半两，研飞） 麝香（半两，研）
将上述药物共同研匀，用煮好的甘草膏子和丸，做成皂子大小。温水化开服用。百日大的婴儿服用一丸，分三四次服。五岁大的婴儿服用一丸。如果用腊月中雪水煮甘草和药，尤其好。此药治疗伤风伤寒、温疫风热、痰实咳嗽、惊风潮搐、蛊毒中毒温热壮热，以及室女白带。钱乙治疗疮疹发出快、红肥，只用此药平调，最好。
短剧犀角地黄汤
治疗疮疹太严重，解散之。
赤芍药（一分半） 生地黄（四两） 牡丹皮（去心，半两） 犀角屑（半两，没有就用升麻代替）
将药物研成粗末。每次服用二钱，加一小盏水，煎至六分，去渣后温服。有大热如狂症状的，加黄芩半两，再根据大小给予服用。
木香汤
治疗疮疹太盛烦痛。
青木香（一两） 丁香 薰陆香（乳香） 白矾（各半两） 麝香（二钱）
将药物研成粗末。每次服用二钱，加一小盏水，煎至六分，去渣后温服。热盛的，加犀角屑半两。轻症的去掉白矾。大效。
猪胆醋
治疗疮疹内部发作旺盛的。醋四两，大猪胆一个，取汁合煎三四沸。每次半合上下，根据大小给予服用。每天四五次。随时服用。
活血散
治疗方法同上。用白芍药研成末，每次服用半钱，或一字，用温酒调下。如果只想止痛，用温熟水调下。随时服用。
蝉蜕饮子
治疗方法同上。用蝉蜕十枚，去泥土，洗净捣碎。用水三大盏，煎至八分，去渣分两次服用。发出缓慢的，带热服用。如果发出过多，想要消退的，放冷后服用。神效。
四圣散
治疗疮疹发出缓慢，小便赤涩，心腹胀满，一切恶疾。也治疗倒靥。
紫草茸（一两） 木通（细锉，四两） 枳壳（麸炒去穣，四两） 黄（黄芪，炙锉，半两） 甘草（半两）
将药物研成末。每次服用二钱，加水一盏，煎至六分，去渣放温，时时呷服。
川芎升麻汤
治疗疮疹已发出，未能均匀分布。或者毒气壅遏，虽然发出缓慢，此药御风透肌，发疮非常有效。
川芎 川升麻 当归（去芦洗净） 白芍药（各半两）
将药物研成粗末。每次服用一钱，加水七分盏，煎至五分，去渣后温服。不拘时候。
解毒汤
治疗脏腑蕴热，积毒发泄，斑疮稠密，脓血大盛，狂躁发渴，咽嗌不利，遍身溃烂，苦无全肤，不能转侧，疼痛难忍。
生地黄（四两） 犀角屑 白芍药 牡丹皮（去心，各半两）
将药物研成粗末。每次服用一钱，加水七分盏，煎至五分，去渣放温服用。
黑龙散
治疗小儿疮疹刚发出，服用冷药导致毒气伏陷。三日间病情危笃，急进此药。
麻黄（去根节，三分） 竹茹（一分） 蝎梢（二十一个） 苏木（一分） 乌龙土（一分，即火团土）
将药物研成细末。每次服用半钱，加水五分，煎至三分，温服。
白虎化斑汤
治疗疮疹赤黑，发出缓慢，毒盛烦躁。有人说白虎汤是给大人用的药，殊不知孙真人说，大人小儿治疗没有区别，只是用药多少不同而已。
石膏（四两，捶碎） 知母（一两半，锉） 甘草（炙，三分） 人参（去芦，半两）
将药物研成末。每次服用二钱，加水一盏，加入粳米二十粒，同煎至半盏，去渣后温服。小儿根据大小减量。初春深秋，冬月寒时，加枣煎服，并让乳母兼服，非常好。断奶的婴儿只自己服用。
神通散
治疗疮疹倒靥，伏陷不出，毒气稍轻，大小便通利的。
地龙（紧实的，去土微炒，一两） 朱砂（一两，别研） 生干地黄（一两，以上先为末）
将上述药物拌匀。每次服用一字，煎少许胡荽酒，同温汤调下。随时服用。
如圣散
治疗疮疹已生，反倒靥内陷，舌缩，啼声不出，腹胀肚急，一切恶证。用蛇蜕皮，在灯焰上烧，先用一只碗在下，才烧完火焰，放在碗内，急用另一只碗覆盖，不让透气。良久揭开，细研为末。每次服用一字或半钱，用藿香汤调下。如果变为红活时，则用牛蒡子炒熟为细末，每次服用二钱，加水一盏，煎至六分，放冷澄清，用匙抄清汁，频频与服。能滋润咽喉肺经，大解疮毒。
七神散
治疗疮疹毒气内攻，黑紫倒陷伏靥，危恶之候。
腊月 猪血（新瓦罐盛密封至渗泣干秤一两。余血依旧封收之以备再合要用） 牙硝（一两） 硼砂 牛黄麝香 龙脑（各一钱细研别入）
将上述药物拌匀研细。用瓷盒贮存。每两岁大的婴儿用一钱，新水调服。拉下恶物，疮子红活为止。又一方，还有朱砂细末一钱，其余都相同，名救生散，治疗同上。严重的不过再服，神验无比。又一方，没有硼砂，却有腻粉朱砂各一钱，同研匀，名无比散，小猪尾上血三五滴相拌，小的婴儿一字，乳汁调抹口中，大的婴儿半钱，新水调下。其余都相同。
宣毒膏
治疗方法同上。曾经大效，神妙。
朱砂（一两，研水飞） 乳香（一两，研） 甘草（细末，半两） 牙硝（半两，研） 麝香（一分，研） 生龙脑（一分，研）
在腊月八日，取母猪尾后刺血一升，用新瓦盆盛，加入诸药，同拌搅匀。用一个宽大旧竹筒，底留一节，全部放入在内，用纸数重密盖，紧系封合。然后在筒口边通一窍子，以麻索系垂在大粪坑屋梁上。至清明日取出曝干。再加入龙脑、麝香各一钱，研细匀，滴水和水丸皂子大。每次服用一丸，用人参汤化开送服。如果毒盛，疮子倒靥变黑，服用后则红活而长。
猪血脑子
治疗疮疹黑紫，倒靥不出。生龙脑一字细研，从猪尾上取血半蛤蜊壳，二味相和，用帛子裹薄荷揉汁半合，调上件药匀，于汤中烫温，作一服饮之。神验。
又方：取小猪儿尾尖血三五滴，研生龙脑末少许，新水调下。治疗同上。又一方，治疗疮疹黑靥恶候，医所不治者，用母猪第二番血清半合，酒半合，研龙脑细末少许，和搅令匀，服用。利下一两行，十救十人，大验。小的婴儿量与。又一方，治疗疮疹发，心间有热，或误服热药，致蓄热在心，昏冒不省人事，疮子黑靥。用新杀猪心一个，取心中血，以生龙脑一字，同研合作一丸，新汲水化下。未醒者再服。又一方，治疗疮疹黑靥倒陷，于腊日收生猪血，新瓦瓶中密封，候自然渗泣至干。每用半钱许，研散，入麝香少许，同匀细，新水调下。其疮变红便出。以上数方，皆与沈存中龙脑膏相似，稍有差异罢了。并经大验，今俱录之。
人齿散
治疗疮疹黑靥，发搐危困。用人牙齿三五枚，炙令黄。一方存性研为末，入麝香少许。每次半钱，温酒少许调下。（一方用乳香汤调下）沈存中说，屡见人用之效。
白母丁散
治疗方法同上。用白丁香为末，入麝少许，研匀。每次服用一字，米饮调下，随时服用。
桃胶汤
治疗方法同上。用桃胶煎汤，饮之大效。一方以水熬成膏，温酒调下，随时服用。
又方：治疗同上。用黑狗一只，牢系住，不给食物吃一两日，候肠中旧粪尽，给生粟米吃，候粟米粪下，于活水中净淘，只留化不尽米，曝干收之。每用二钱，再淘净，研为细末，入麝香少许，新水调下。顷刻间疮变红活。
百祥丸（一名南阳丸）
用红牙大戟，不拘多少阴干，浆煮软去骨，日中曝干，复纳汁中煮汁尽，焙干为末，水和丸粟米大。每次服用一二十丸，研赤脂麻汤送下，随时服用。吐痢是效。
牛李膏（又名必胜膏）
用牛李子不拘多少，须于九月后取之，乃野生道边，至秋结实，黑子成穗，九月后乃得成熟者，气全故也。烂研，绢滤取汁，于石银器中熬成膏，可丸时秤。每膏二两，入研细麝香末半钱和匀，丸桐子大。每两岁大的婴儿一丸，或丸作皂子大，根据大小减量使用。用浆水煎杏胶汤化下。凡疮疹黑紫倒靥者，不过再服，当取下恶血。或如鱼子恶物，其疮黑陷于皮下者，即红大而出。
百祥丸牛李膏，钱乙用此二药，治疗疮疹恶候，见于皮肤之下不出。或出而不长，反变黑紫，倒靥内陷，一切危急。用百祥丸以泻膀胱之府，减肾气不旺。用牛李膏为治，则病得从顺也。董汲说，汲小年自病此几殆，父母已不忍睨，服此牛李膏得安然。此方得于世甚久，惟收得不知早晚，故无效。今以收得，并载之。
金液丹
保生方论小儿疮疹，误服凉药太过，身冷疮陷，不红活，脉沉细者，急投金液丹麻子大一二百粒，或有可生之意。至儿困极，则无及矣。（方在和剂集中）
调肝散
治疗疮疹平调肝经，使毒气通流，疮不入眼。
生犀角（镑屑，一分） 草龙胆（去芦，半分） 黄（黄芪，半两，炙锉） 甘草（一分，炒） 大黄（一分，炒过） 桑白皮（一分，炙锉） 钩藤钩子（一分） 麻黄（一分，去根节） 石膏（半两，研） 栝蒌实（半两，去皮）
将药物研成散。每次服用二钱，加水一盏，煎至五分，去渣后温服。随时服用。
兔肝丸
治疗疮疹入眼。初觉眼肿痛，便时时看之。如果睛上无疮，即无害。如果有疮，须先服清凉饮子，每日食后一服，取微利以去其毒，然后服此药并下方。虽有赤白障膜遮交其睛，但瞳子不破陷者，皆可治。
Grind the herbs into a coarse powder. For a child of two years old, use 2 qian (approx. 7.5g) of the powder. Add one *zhan* (approx. 200ml) of water, decoct until reduced to 6 fen (approx. 120ml), remove the dregs, and take warm at any time.
**Xiaodu San (Disinfecting Powder)**
Indicated for sores and rashes whether they have erupted or not. If not erupted, it is used to detoxify; if erupted, it reduces toxicity.
*Babaozi* (Fructus Arctii, 2 liang, stir-fried with paper lining) *Gancao* (Radix Glycyrrhizae, 0.5 liang, cut and stir-fried) *Jingjiesui* (Herba Schizonepetae, 1 fen)
Grind into a coarse powder. Take 1 daqian (approx. 3.75g) per dose. Add one *zhan* of water, decoct until reduced to 5 fen, remove the dregs, and take warm. Contraindicated in patients with dysentery. Particularly suitable for those with sore throat and swelling.
Another prescription adds *Fangfeng* (Radix Saposhnikoviae, 1 liang) and *Jingjiesui* (1 liang); this is from the *Qianjin Fang*.
**Zicao Yinzi (Arnebia Decoction)**
Preparation as above. Use 2 liang of *Zicao* (Radix Arnebiae/Lithospermi), finely cut, and pour one large *zhan* of boiling water over it.
**Huadu Tang (Detoxifying Decoction)**
Preparation as above. (This formula treats sores and rashes when they are about to erupt: high fever all over the body, poor mood, loss of appetite. Taking it causes internal resolution. If already erupted, it resolves 60-70% of the toxicity. If fully erupted, take three doses on the same day for immediate effect.)
*Tun Zicao* (Tender Radix Arnebiae/Lithospermi, remove coarse stems) *Shengma* (Rhizoma Cimicifugae) *Gancao* (Radix Glycyrrhizae, honey-fried, 0.5 liang each)
Cut into sizes similar to hemp seeds. Add two *zhan* of water and 50 grains of glutinous rice, decoct together until reduced to one *zhan*, remove dregs, let cool to warm. Administer according to age, divided into three or four doses.
Another version: Taken before eruption, it resolves toxins internally; after eruption, it reduces severity. If fully erupted, scabs form on the same day. Three doses yield immediate results.
**Renshen San (Ginseng Powder)**
Indicated for sores and rashes as soon as they are perceived to be emerging, to make them sparse and mild.
*Renshen* (Radix Ginseng) *Baizhu* (Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae) *Guanzhong* (Rhizoma Cyathulae/Osmundae) *Gancao* (Radix Glycyrrhizae, honey-fried) *Qianghuo* (Rhizoma et Radix Notopterygii, remove rhizome, equal parts)
Grind into a fine powder. Take 1 qian (approx. 3.75g) per dose. Add one *zhan* of water, decoct until reduced to 6 fen, remove dregs, and take warm. At any time.
**Zicao Rusheng Tang (Arnebia Like-Sage Decoction)**
Indicated for sores and rashes just beginning to emerge; administer urgently to reduce toxicity and mildness. Nursing infants and their mothers should take it together; weaned infants take it themselves.
*Zicao* (Radix Arnebiae/Lithospermi, remove coarse stems, 2 liang) *Chenjuapi* (Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae, remove white pith, bake dry, 1 liang)
Grind into powder. Take 1 daqian (approx. 3.75g) per dose. Add one *zhan* of water and 2 cun (approx. 6cm) of green onion white (*Congbai*), decoct until reduced to 6 fen, remove dregs, and take warm. At any time.
**La Yanzhi (Carmine from the Twelfth Month)**
As soon as sores and rashes begin to emerge, apply around the eyes to prevent lesions from entering the eyes. Apply to both sides.
**Huangbai Gao (Phellodendron Ointment, also known as Eye-Protection Ointment)**
As soon as sores and rashes emerge, apply urgently to the face, thickly coating from the side of the ear to the eye orbit, to prevent lesions from entering the eyes and leaving facial scars. Early application protects the eyes and prevents facial lesions. Late application results in fewer lesions. After application, spray with *Husui Jiu* (Coriander Wine) to promote eruption.
*Huangbai* (Cortex Phellodendri, 1 liang, remove coarse bark; one method uses honey-fried, another only finely cut) *Xin Lvdou* (Fresh Vigna angularis, 1 liang, selected clean; one method uses 1.5 liang) *Gancao* (Radix Glycyrrhizae, raw, 0.5 liang; one method uses 4 liang, fewer parts from Miaoxuan, plus 1 liang Honglanhua, more parts from Qian Shi, only three ingredients; Dong Ji's formula is the same)
Grind into a fine powder, mix with good raw sesame oil to form an ointment. Apply from the side of the ear, outside the eyes, to the cheeks and face, 3-5 times daily.
**Husui Jiu (Coriander Wine)**
Take 4 liang of *Husui* (Herba Coriandri Sativi), finely cut. Boil with three *zhan* of wine, pour over the coriander, cover immediately to prevent air leakage. Cool, filter, bake the coriander dry, store in a red silk bag, sew shut. Let the nursing mother and infant wear it. Drink one or two mouthfuls of the wine, spray from under the infant's neck, covering shoulders, back, chest, abdomen, and limbs, avoiding the head and face. It is best if the remaining wine is drunk by the nursing mother. It promotes rapid eruption. The Miaoxuan method does not involve spraying; otherwise, it is the same. Additionally, frequently have the infant wear coriander on both sides to ward off foul qi.
**Shuniu Zi Tang (Arctius Decoction)**
Treats early-stage sores and rashes where red spots first appear, but toxins have not yet penetrated the skin to form pustules. Prevents slow eruption by mildly dispersing it.
*Shuniu Zi* (Fructus Arctii, 2 liang, stir-fried until fragrant) *Jingjiesui* (Herba Schizonepetae, 1 liang) *Gancao* (Radix Glycyrrhizae, honey-fried, 0.5 liang) *Fangfeng* (Radix Saposhnikoviae, remove rhizome and forked branches)
Grind into powder. Take 2 qian per dose, mixed with boiling water. Also benefits the throat and diaphragm, transforms phlegm, and stops coughing. Another method uses only 1 liang of *Shuniu Zi* and 0.5 liang of *Gancao* ground into powder. Take 2 qian per dose, add one *zhan* of water, decoct until reduced to 8 fen, remove dregs, and take warm. At any time.
**Zicao San (Arnebia Powder)**
Preparation as above. Equal parts of *Goutenggou* (Ramulus Uncariae cum Uncis) and *Zicaorong* (Radix Arnebiae/Lithospermi). Grind into a fine powder. Take 1 zi (approx. 1.5g) or 0.5 qian per dose, taken with warm wine. At any time. This initially uses a small amount of medicine to disperse. If not erupted after a night, increase the dosage to disperse.
**Bisheng San (Certain Victory Powder)**
Treats sores and rashes that have erupted but are not evenly distributed. Promotes penetration into muscles and detoxification. Use *Niubangzi* (Fructus Arctii), unlimited quantity, stir-fried until fragrant and cooked, ground into a fine powder. Take 1 qian per dose, add two spikes of *Jingjie* (Herba Schizonepetae), add one *zhan* of water, decoct until reduced to 7 fen, let cool to warm, and take. At any time.
**Longnao Gaozi (Borneol Pill)**
Treats sores and rashes that have not fully penetrated, accompanied by mental restlessness, mania, panting, delirium, or hallucinations ("seeing ghosts"). Take 0.5 qian of raw *Longnao* (Borneolum Syntheticum), grind finely. Mix with pig heart blood drop by drop to form pills the size of a cocklebur. Take one pill per dose, dissolved in decocted *Zicao* (Radix Arnebiae/Lithospermi) soup. Mental restlessness settles shortly after, allowing sleep. The sores will then penetrate naturally, and recovery follows standard methods. This formula also treats black depression (*Daoxian*). If used, dissolve in warm wine.
Another method: Use approximately one "xiang dou" (a measure) of fresh pig blood and a small piece of *Naozhi* (Camphora), grind finely, mix with a little wine, and take. Extremely effective. This is a formula used by Shen Cunzhong.
**Anban San (Stabilizing Maculae Powder)**
Treats sores and rashes that erupt quickly, are plump, red, and uneven; balances them.
*Chuan Shengma* (Rhizoma Cimicifugae) *Chi Fuling* (Poria with Red Core, 1 liang each) *Mian Huangqi* (Radix Astragali, 1 liang) *Qianghuo* (Rhizoma et Radix Notopterygii, remove rhizome, 1 liang) *Renshen* (Radix Ginseng, remove rhizome) *Zhike* (Fructus Aurantii, remove albedo, bran-fried) *Jiegeng* (Radix Platycodonis, remove rhizome) *Gancao* (Radix Glycyrrhizae, 0.5 liang each)
Grind into a fine powder. Take 1 daqian (approx. 3.75g) per dose. Add a small *zhan* of water, plus a little *Zicao* (Radix Arnebiae/Lithospermi) and *Bohe* (Herba Menthae), decoct until reduced to 5 fen, remove dregs, and take warm. At any time.
**Kuaiban San (Rapid Maculae Powder)**
Treats diseases as above.
*Guanzhong* (Rhizoma Cyathulae/Osmundae, 1 liang, selected, cleaned, baked dry) *Chi Shaoyao* (Radix Paeoniae Rubra, 1 liang) *Gancao* (Radix Glycyrrhizae, 0.5 liang) *Chuan Shengma* (Rhizoma Cimicifugae, 0.5 liang) *Zhike* (Fructus Aurantii, bran-fried, remove albedo, 0.5 liang)
Grind into powder. Take 1 qian per dose. Add a small *zhan* of water and seven leaves of *Zhuye* (Folium Bambusae), decoct until reduced to 5 fen, remove dregs, and take warm. At any time. The effect is miraculous.
**Baolong Wan (Embracing Dragon Pill)**
Preparation as above. Grind *Tiannanxing* (Rhizoma Arisaematis) into powder. Mix with ox bile collected in the twelfth lunar month to form a paste. Shade-dry for 100 days until dry (yielding 4 liang). If unavailable, soak *Tiannanxing* in grain vinegar or fresh water for three days until soft. Boil for three boils, remove, peel and remove the center while still soft, keeping only the white, soft part. Slice thinly, bake dry, stir-fry until yellow, and grind into powder (8 liang). Break apart *Gancao* (Radix Glycyrrhizae, 2.5 liang), soak in two bowls of water overnight. Simmer slowly until reduced to half a bowl. Remove dregs. Slowly sprinkle the *Tiannanxing* powder into the decoction, grinding slowly until the liquid is absorbed. Then add the remaining herbs.
*Tianzhuhuang* (Spiritis Bambusae in Talam) (1 liang) *Xionghuang* (Realgar, 1 fen, levigated) *Chensha* (Cinnabar, 0.5 liang, levigated) *Shexiang* (Moschus, 0.5 liang, ground)
Grind all together uniformly. Use the boiled Gancao paste to bind into pills the size of soap seeds. Dissolve in warm water and take. One pill for a 100-day-old infant, divided into 3-4 doses. One pill for a five-year-old. Using snow water from the twelfth lunar month to boil the Gancao is especially good. This medicine treats wind-cold, cold damage, epidemic febrile diseases, wind-heat, phlegm-stasis cough, convulsions, tetanus, gu poison, toxic heat, and leukorrhea in unmarried women. Qian Yi used this medicine alone to balance sores and rashes that erupt quickly, are red, and plump; it is the best.
**Duanju Xijiao Dihuang Tang (Short Drama Rhinoceros Horn Rehmannia Decoction)**
Treats severe sores and rashes, dispersing them.
*Chi Shaoyao* (Radix Paeoniae Rubra, 1.5 fen) *Sheng Dihuang* (Rehmanniae Radix Recens, 4 liang) *Mudanpi* (Cortex Moutan, remove heart, 0.5 liang) *Xijiao Xie* (Cornu Rhinocerotis, 0.5 liang; if unavailable, substitute with *Shengma*)
Grind into a coarse powder. Take 2 qian per dose. Add a small *zhan* of water, decoct until reduced to 6 fen, remove dregs, and take warm. For cases with high fever and mania-like symptoms, add 0.5 liang of *Huangqin* (Radix Scutellariae). Adjust dosage according to age/size.
**Muxiang Tang (Costus Decoction)**
Treats excessive sores and rashes with irritability and pain.
*Qingmuxiang* (Aucklandiae Radix, 1 liang) *Dingxiang* (Flos Caryophylli) *Xunluxiang* (Olibanum/Mayo Incense) *Baifan* (Alumen, 0.5 liang each) *Shexiang* (Moschus, 2 qian)
Grind into a coarse powder. Take 2 qian per dose. Add a small *zhan* of water, decoct until reduced to 6 fen, remove dregs, and take warm. For excess heat, add 0.5 liang of *Xijiao Xie* (Cornu Rhinocerotis). For mild cases, remove *Baifan*. Highly effective.
**Zhudan Cu (Pig Gallbladder Vinegar)**
Treats severe internal onset of sores and rashes. Take 4 liang of vinegar and one large pig gallbladder, extract the juice. Combine and boil for three to four boils. Take approximately 0.5 he (approx. 20ml) up or down, adjusted for size. Take 4-5 times daily. At any time.
**Laifu Zhi (Radish Juice)**
Treats slow eruption of sores and rashes. Decoct juice from radishes with flowers and administer frequently.
**Zicaorong Zhi (Arnebia Juice)**
Preparation as above. Decoct *Zicaorong* (Radix Arnebiae/Lithospermi) in water and drink the juice.
**Huoxue San (Invigorating Blood Powder)**
Preparation as above. Grind *Baishaoyao* (Radix Paeoniae Lactiflorae) into powder. Take 0.5 qian or 1 zi per dose, mixed with warm wine. If only seeking pain relief, mix with warm cooked water. At any time.
**Chantui Yinzi (Cicada Slough Decoction)**
Preparation as above. Take ten cicada sloughs (*Chantui*), remove dirt, wash clean, and crush. Add three large *zhan* of water, decoct until reduced to 8 fen, remove dregs, and divide into two doses. For slow eruption, take while hot. For excessive eruption requiring resolution, take when cold. Miraculous effect.
**Sisheng San (Four Sages Powder)**
Treats slow eruption of sores and rashes, red and turbid urine, abdominal distension and fullness, and all evil diseases. Also treats *Daoxian* (black depression/inversion).
*Zicaorong* (Radix Arnebiae/Lithospermi, 1 liang) *Mutong* (Caulis Akebiae, finely cut, 4 liang) *Zhike* (Fructus Aurantii, bran-fried, remove albedo, 4 liang) *Huangqi* (Radix Astragali, honey-fried and cut, 0.5 liang) *Gancao* (Radix Glycyrrhizae, 0.5 liang)
Grind into powder. Take 2 qian per dose. Add one *zhan* of water, decoct until reduced to 6 fen, remove dregs, let cool to warm, and sip frequently.
**Chuanxiong Shengma Tang (Ligusticum and Cimicifuga Decoction)**
Treats sores and rashes that have erupted but are not evenly distributed. Or when toxins are obstructed, causing slow eruption. This herb dispels wind, penetrates muscles, and promotes eruption very effectively.
*Chuanxiong* (Rhizoma Chuanxiong) *Chuan Shengma* (Rhizoma Cimicifugae) *Danggui* (Radix Angelicae Sinensis, remove rhizome and wash clean) *Baishaoyao* (Radix Paeoniae Lactiflorae, 0.5 liang each)
Grind into a coarse powder. Take 1 qian per dose. Add 0.7 *zhan* of water, decoct until reduced to 5 fen, remove dregs, and take warm. No specific timing.
**Jiedu Tang (Detoxifying Decoction)**
Treats heat accumulation in the zang-fu organs, release of accumulated toxins, dense macules and sores, abundant pus and blood, mania, thirst, difficulty in the throat, widespread ulceration, lack of intact skin, inability to turn or move, unbearable pain.
*Sheng Dihuang* (Rehmanniae Radix Recens, 4 liang) *Xijiao Xie* (Cornu Rhinocerotis) *Baishaoyao* (Radix Paeoniae Lactiflorae) *Mudanpi* (Cortex Moutan, remove heart, 0.5 liang each)
Grind into a coarse powder. Take 1 qian per dose. Add 0.7 *zhan* of water, decoct until reduced to 5 fen, remove dregs, let cool to warm, and take.
**Heilong San (Black Dragon Powder)**
Treats pediatric sores and rashes just starting to erupt. If cold medicines were taken, causing toxin suppression, and the condition becomes critical within three days, urgently administer this medicine.
*Mahuang* (Herba Ephedrae, remove roots and joints, 3 fen) *Zhuru* (Spongia Succinea, 1 fen) *Xeshao* (Cauda Scoropionis, 21 pieces) *Sumu* (Lignum Sappan, 1 fen) *Wulong Tu* (Earth from Fire Kiln, 1 fen)
Grind into a fine powder. Take 0.5 qian per dose. Add 0.5 *zhan* of water, decoct until reduced to 3 fen, and take warm.
**Baihu Huaban Tang (White Tiger Macula-Resolving Decoction)**
Treats red-black sores and rashes, slow eruption, excessive toxins, irritability. Some say Baihu Tang is for adults, but Sun Simiao stated that treatment for adults and children is not different, only the dosage varies.
*Shigao* (Gypsum Fibrosum, 4 liang, crushed) *Zhimu* (Rhizoma Anemarrhenae, 1.5 liang, cut) *Gancao* (Radix Glycyrrhizae, honey-fried, 3 fen) *Renshen* (Radix Ginseng, remove rhizome, 0.5 liang)
Grind into powder. Take 2 qian per dose. Add one *zhan* of water and 20 grains of *Jingmi* (Oryza Sativa Glutinosa), decoct together until reduced to half a *zhan*, remove dregs, and take warm. Reduce dosage for children. In early spring, late autumn, or winter cold, add dates and decoct. Best if taken by both child and nursing mother. Weaned children take it themselves.
**Shentong San (Spirit Penetration Powder)**
Treats *Daoxian* (black depression/inversion) of sores and rashes, suppression, failure to erupt, with slightly lighter toxins and unobstructed urination and defecation.
*Dilong* (Pheretima, firm ones, remove dirt, lightly stir-fry, 1 liang) *Zhusha* (Cinnabar, 1 liang, separately ground) *Shenggan Dihuang* (Rehmanniae Radix Preparata, 1 liang; these three first ground into powder)
Mix uniformly. Take 1 zi per dose. Decoct a small amount of *Husui Jiu* (Coriander Wine), mix with warm water, and take. At any time.
**Rusheng San (Like-Sage Powder)**
Treats sores and rashes that have formed but inverted inward (*Daoxian*), with retracted tongue, inability to cry, abdominal distension and urgency, and all evil syndromes. Use snake slough (*Shetui*), burn over a lamp flame. Place a bowl underneath first. Once the flame extinguishes, place the slough in the bowl and immediately cover with another bowl to prevent air leakage. After a while, uncover and grind finely into powder. Take 1 zi or 0.5 qian per dose, mixed with *Huoxiang Tang* (Pogostemon Decoction). If turning red and vibrant, use stir-fried *Niubangzi* (Fructus Arctii) ground into powder. Take 2 qian per dose, add one *zhan* of water, decoct until reduced to 6 fen, let cool and clarify. Scoop the clear liquid with a spoon and administer frequently. It moistens the throat and lung meridians and greatly resolves sore toxins.
**Qishen San (Seven Spirits Powder)**
Treats sores and rashes where toxins attack internally, presenting as black-purple *Daoxian* (depression/inversion), a critical and dangerous sign.
*Zhu Xue* (Pig Blood, collected in the twelfth lunar month, sealed in a new clay jar until dried by seepage, weighed 1 liang. Remaining blood sealed for future use) *Yaxiao* (Natrii Sulfas, 1 liang) *Pengsha* (Borax) *Niuhuang* (Calculus Bovis) *Shexiang* (Moschus) *Longnao* (Borneolum Syntheticum, 1 qian each, finely ground and set aside)
Mix and grind finely. Store in a porcelain box. For a two-year-old child, take 1 qian, mixed with fresh water and taken orally. Defecate evil matter until sores become red and vibrant.
Another method: Add 1 qian of finely ground *Zhusha* (Cinnabar). Rest is the same. Named *Jiusheng San* (Life-Saving Powder). Treatment as above. Severe cases require no more than two doses. Extremely effective.
Another method: Without *Pengsha*, but with 1 qian each of *Nifen* (Calomel) and *Zhusha*, ground together uniformly. Named *Wubi San* (Incomparable Powder). Mix with 3-5 drops of blood from a piglet's tail. For small children, 1 zi, mixed with milk and applied to the mouth. For larger children, 0.5 qian, mixed with fresh water and taken. Rest is the same.
**Xuandu Gao (Toxin-Releasing Ointment)**
Preparation as above. Previously highly effective and miraculous.
*Zhusha* (Cinnabar, 1 liang, ground and water-leveled) *Ruxiang* (Olibanum, 1 liang, ground) *Gancao* (Radix Glycyrrhizae, fine powder, 0.5 liang) *Yaxiao* (Natrii Sulfas, 0.5 liang, ground) *Shexiang* (Moschus, 1 fen, ground) *Sheng Longnao* (Raw Borneolum Syntheticum, 1 fen, ground)
On the eighth day of the twelfth lunar month, obtain 1 sheng (approx. 1 liter) of blood from the rear of a sow's tail. Store in a new clay basin. Add all herbs, mix well. Insert into a wide, old bamboo tube (keeping one node at the bottom). Seal tightly with multiple layers of paper. Make a hole at the top of the tube. Hang it from the beam over the latrine with a hemp rope. Retrieve on Qingming Festival, dry in the sun. Add 1 qian each of *Longnao* and *Shexiang*, grind finely and mix uniformly. Drop water to bind into pills the size of soap seeds. Take one pill per dose, dissolved in *Renshen Tang* (Ginseng Decoction). If toxins are excessive and sores invert to black, taking this makes them red and vibrant.
**Zhuxue Naonao (Pig Blood and Camphor)**
Treats black-purple sores and rashes with inversion and failure to erupt. Grind 1 zi of raw *Longnao* (Borneolum Syntheticum) finely. Take half a clamshell of blood from a piglet's tail. Mix the two. Wrap mint (*Bohe*) in cloth, rub to extract half a he (approx. 20ml) of juice. Mix with the medicine evenly. Warm in water and drink as one dose. Miraculous.
Another method: Take 3-5 drops of blood from the tip of a piglet's tail. Mix with a small amount of ground raw *Longnao*. Take with fresh water. Treatment as above.
Another method: Treats black inversion evil signs of sores and rashes, untreatable by doctors. Use half a he of serum from the second milking of a sow, mixed with half a he of wine. Add a small amount of finely ground *Longnao*, mix well, and take. Causes one or two bowel movements. Saves ten out of ten people. Highly effective. Dosage adjusted for children.
Another method: Treats sores and rashes erupting with heat in the heart, or due to mistaken administration of hot medicines causing heat accumulation in the heart, leading to coma and unconsciousness, with black sores. Take one freshly slaughtered pig heart, extract the blood inside. Mix with 1 zi of raw *Longnao*, grind together into one pill. Dissolve in fresh well water and take. If still unconscious, take again.
Another method: Treats black inversion of sores and rashes. Collect fresh pig blood on the twelfth day of the twelfth lunar month, seal in a new clay bottle. Wait until it dries by seepage. Take approx. 0.5 qian, grind into powder, add a little *Shexiang*, mix finely, and take with fresh water. Sores turn red and erupt.
The above formulas are similar to Shen Cunzhong's *Longnao Gao*, with slight differences. All have been verified as highly effective. Recorded here.
**Renci San (Human Tooth Powder)**
Treats black inversion of sores and rashes with convulsions and critical distress. Take 3-5 human teeth, roast until yellow. One method preserves nature, grinds into powder. Add a little *Shexiang*. Take 0.5 qian, mixed with a little warm wine. (One method uses *Ruxiang Tang* to mix). Shen Cunzhong said he has seen this used effectively many times.
**Baimuding San (White Mother Ding Powder)**
Preparation as above. Grind *Baidingxiang* (Excrement Streblus asper) into powder. Add a little *Shexiang*, grind uniformly. Take 1 zi per dose, mixed with rice water. At any time.
**Taojiao Tang (Peach Gum Decoction)**
Preparation as above. Decoct peach gum (*Taojiao*) in water and drink. Highly effective. One method boils water into a paste, mixes with warm wine, and takes. At any time.
Another method: Preparation as above. Take a black dog, tie it securely, withhold food for one to two days until old feces are cleared. Feed raw millet. When millet feces are passed, wash thoroughly in running water, keep only the undigested grains, dry in the sun, and store. Take 2 qian, wash clean again, grind into fine powder. Add a little *Shexiang*, take with fresh water. Sores turn red and vibrant instantly.
**Baixiang Wan (Hundred Auspicious Pills, also named Nanyang Wan)**
Use *Hongya Daji* (Euphorbia pekinensis), dry in shade. Boil in grain vinegar until soft, remove woody core. Dry in the sun. Return to vinegar juice and boil until juice is exhausted. Bake dry and grind into powder. Bind with water into pills the size of millet seeds. Take 10-20 pills per dose, sent down with ground Sesamum indicum (red sesame) soup. At any time. Vomiting and diarrhea indicate efficacy.
**Niuli Gao (Bull Plum Ointment, also named Bisheng Gao)**
Use *Niuzi* (Bull Plum/Berberis), unlimited quantity. Must be harvested after September. Wild by roadsides, fruits in autumn, black seeds in clusters. Only mature after September, preserving full qi. Mash thoroughly, filter through silk to extract juice. Boil in stone or silver vessel until forming a paste. Weigh when ready to pill. For every 2 liang of paste, add 0.5 qian of finely ground *Shexiang*, mix uniformly, and form pills the size of tung tree seeds. For a two-year-old child, one pill. Or form pills the size of soap seeds, reducing dosage according to size. Dissolve in *Xingjiao Tang* (Apricot Gum Decoction) made with grain vinegar. For black-purple inverted sores, no more than two doses are needed. Evil blood will be discharged. Or foul matter like fish roe. Sores depressed black under the skin will turn red and large.
Qian Yi used these two medicines, *Baixiang Wan* and *Niuli Gao*, to treat evil signs of sores and rashes appearing under the skin without erupting, or erupting but not growing, turning black-purple, inverting inward. All critical situations. *Baixiang Wan* drains the bladder腑 (Fu organ) and reduces hyperactive kidney qi. *Niuli Gao* treats the disease following its course. Dong Ji said: "I suffered from this disease nearly dying in my youth; my parents could barely bear to look. Taking this Niuli Gao saved me." This formula has been in the world for a long time, but if stored incorrectly (unknown timing), it loses efficacy. Now that I have obtained it properly, I record it.
**Jinye Dan (Golden Liquid Pill)**
Baosheng Fang discusses pediatric sores and rashes: If too much cold medicine is mistakenly taken, causing cold body, depressed sores, lack of redness/vibrancy, and deep/thin pulse, urgently administer *Jinye Dan* (Golden Liquid Pill), 100-200 pills the size of hemp seeds. There may be hope for survival. If the child is extremely exhausted, it is too late. (Formula found in Heji Juzheng Fanglun).
**Tiaogan San (Liver-Balancing Powder)**
Treats sores and rashes by balancing the Liver meridian, allowing toxins to flow freely, preventing sores from entering the eyes.
*Sheng Xijiao* (Raw Rhinoceros Horn, shaved, 1 fen) *Caolongdan* (Radix Gentianae Macrophyllae, remove rhizome, 0.5 fen) *Huangqi* (Radix Astragali, 0.5 liang, honey-fried and cut) *Gancao* (Radix Glycyrrhizae, 1 fen, stir-fried) *Dahuang* (Radix et Rhizoma Rhei, 1 fen, stir-fried) *Sangbaipi* (Cortex Mori Radicis, 1 fen, honey-fried and cut) *Goutenggou* (Ramulus Uncariae cum Uncis, 1 fen) *Mahuang* (Herba Ephedrae, 1 fen, remove roots and joints) *Shigao* (Gypsum Fibrosum, 0.5 liang, ground) *Gualoushi* (Fructus Trichosanthis, remove skin, 0.5 liang)
Grind into powder. Take 2 qian per dose. Add one *zhan* of water, decoct until reduced to 5 fen, remove dregs, and take warm. At any time.
**Tugan Wan (Rabbit Liver Pill)**
Treats sores and rashes entering the eyes. Initially feeling eye swelling and pain, check frequently. If there are no sores on the eyeball, there is no harm. If there are sores, first take *Qingliang Yinzi* (Cooling Decoction), one dose after each meal, inducing mild diarrhea to remove toxins. Then take this medicine and the following formula. Even if red-white membranes obscure the pupil, as long as the pupil is not broken or depressed, it can be treated.
