What is the reason for red and swollen eyes with pain in the pupil? The answer is: Kidney Water is depleted, Heart Fire is hyperactive, and Water cannot control Fire. It is appropriate to take Xixin San (Heart Cleansing Powder) (Formula see Questions 2 and 5) and Bushen Wan (Kidney Tonifying Pill) (Formula see Question 11).
What is the reason for eyes feeling gritty and tearing? The answer is: Heat in the Spleen system. Flip up the eyelid, puncture the red spots with a needle, and cauterize them flat using a heated copper instrument. If there are hot tears, eye pain, photophobia, and swollen eyelids, it is appropriate to apply Tuiyun San (Pushing Clouds Powder) (Formula see Question 14) and take Jiawei Xixin San (Modified Heart Cleansing Powder) (Formula see Questions 2 and 5.
