Initially, for sudden apoplexy (stroke), [acupoints] Dingmen (Top of Head) and Baihui (Hundred Convergences); for persistent jiaqi (gouty arthritis or leg qi), [acupoints] Lineiting (Inner Foot Garden), Juegu (Gallbladder 39), and Sanyinjiao (Three Yin Intersection). For toufeng (head wind) and biyuan (nasal sinusitis), Shangxing (Upper Star) can be used; for erlong (deafness) and saizhong (swollen cheeks), Tinghui (Listening to Meeting) is prominent. Zanzhu (Bamboo Accumulation) and Touwei (Head Corner) treat eye pain and headache; Rugen (Breast Root) and Shufu (House of Bone) treat cough, qi rebellion, and phlegm asthma. Fengshi (Wind Market) and Yinshi (Yin Market) dispel weakness in the legs and feet; Yinlingquan (Yin Ridge Spring) and Yanglingquan (Yang Ridge Spring) eliminate unbearable knee swelling. Erbai (Two Whites) treats hemorrhoids and fistulas; Jianshi (Intercourse) eradicates malaria; Dazhun (Great Tower) removes hernia; Gaohuang (Gao's Bladder) tonifies deficiency and exhaustion. Tianjing (Heavenly Well) treats scrofula and hidden rashes; Shenmen (Spirit Gate) treats dementia and inappropriate laughter or crying. For cough with wind-phlegm, Taiyuan (Supreme Abyss) and Lieque (Broken Stream) are needled directly; for emaciation and panting, Xuanji (Mysterious Pivot) and Qihai (Sea of Qi) should be known. Qimen (Period Door) and Dazhun can treat hard xuan (abdominal masses) and hernia; Laogong (Palace of Toil) and Daling (Great Tsing) can treat heart oppression and sores. For palpitations and empty irritability, needle Zusanli (Leg Three Miles); for seasonal epidemics and intermittent fevers, seek Houxi (After Stream). Juegu (Gallbladder 39), Zusanli, and Yinjiao (Yin Intersection) are suitable for jiaqi; Jingming (Bright Eyes), Taiyang (Sun Temple), and Yutou (Fish Tail) are relied upon for eye disorders. For the elderly with frequent urination, Mingsmen (Gate of Life) combined with Shenshu (Kidney Transporter) should be moxa-ed; for women with breast swelling, Shaoze (Small Lake) and Taiyang can be pushed. Shenzhu (Body Pillar) dispels cough and eliminates back muscle pain; Zhiyang (Extreme Yang) resolves jaundice and effectively treats mental fatigue. Changqiang (Long Strength) and Chengshan (Support Mountain) are excellent for moxa-ing hemorrhoids; Fenglong (Abundant Bulge) and Feishu (Lung Transporter) are miraculous for phlegm-cough. Fengmen (Wind Gate) governs coughs caused by cold pathogen invasion; Tianshu (Heavenly Pivot) regulates critical cases of spleen-deficiency diarrhea. Fengchi (Wind Pool) and Juegu treat kyphosis (hunchback); Renzhong (Human Middle) and Quchi (Pool at the End) can treat flaccidity and kyphosis. Needling Qimen treats unresolved shaoyang taiyang syndrome where the disease does not transmit further; needling Jiutui (Turtle Beak) for epilepsy that has already manifested requires caution against reckless application. Yinjiao, Shuifen (Water Divide), and Zusanli are needled directly for guzhang (ascites); Shangqiu (Shangqiu), Jiexi (Ankle Joint), and Qiuxu (Qi's Ruins) can treat foot pain. Chize (Elbow Crotch) regulates tendon stiffness and immobility; Wanggu (Wrist Bone) treats wrist immobility. For shoulder and spine pain, Wushu (Five Pivots) combined with Back Seam points; for elbow contracture and pain, Chize combines with Quchi. When wind-dampness transmits to both shoulders, Jianyu (Shoulder Well) can treat it; when excessive heat accumulates in the Sanjiao (Triple Burner), Guanchong (Guan's Channel) is most suitable. For redness and swelling of the arms, Zhongzhu (Middle Well) and Yemen (Fluid Gate) must be distinguished; for spleen-deficiency jaundice, Wanggu and Zhongwan (Middle Stomach) leave no room for doubt. For shaoyang without sweat, attacking Fuliu (Recovering Flow) with reducing method is appropriate; for shaoyang with sweat, selecting Hegu (Union Valley) should follow the condition. To regulate full qi rebellion, Zusanli is sufficient; to revive sunken and hidden pulses, Fuliu is divine. Zhaohai (Illuminating Sea) and Zhigou (Branch Canal) unblock constipation; Neiting (Inside Court) and Zulinqi (Foot臨泣) regulate lower abdominal hernia pain. Tiantu (Heavenly Prominence) and Danzhong (Chest Center) treat wheezing and cough; Dicang (Grain Depot) and Jiache (Jaw Vehicle) treat facial paralysis (mouth deviation). Yingxiang (Welcome Fragrance) is best for nasal obstruction; Jianjing (Shoulder Peak) relieves arm pain as if grasping. Erjian (Second Intercstice) treats toothache; Zhongkui (Middle Crest) resolves vomiting immediately; Bailao (Hundred Labors) stops spontaneous sweating; Tongli (Connecting Thread) cures heart palpitations instantly. Da Gu Kong and Xiao Gu Kong treat rotting eyes and stop cold tears; Left and Right Taiyang treat eye pain and remove blood films. Xinshu (Heart Transporter) and Shenshu treat nocturnal emissions due to kidney deficiency; Renzhong and Weizhong (Midpoint of Crease) relieve uncontrollable lumbar and spinal sprain pain. Taixi (Great Stream), Kunlun (Kunlun Mountain), and Shenmai (Spirit Pulse) best treat swollen and difficult feet; Yongquan (Gushing Spring), Guanyuan (Origin of Qi), and Fenglong are examples for treating shilao (corpse labor/tuberculosis). Yintang (Hall of Impression) treats convulsions; Shenting (Spirit Courtyard) regulates head wind. Frequently reducing Daling and Renzhong completely eliminates bad breath; moxa-ing Duimai and Guanyuan extensively attacks kidney failure. For heavy and painful legs, needle Guangu (Hip Bone), Xiguan (Knee Gate), and Xiyan (Knee Eye); for difficult walking, needle Zusanli, Zhongfeng (Middle Seal), and Taichong (Great Surge). Select Neiguan (Inner Pass) combined with Zhaohai to treat abdominal masses; stimulate Yingxiang inside the nose to reduce eye redness and heat. For abdominal pain and constipation, combine Daling with Waiguan (Outer Pass) at Zhigou; for rheumatic pain in the legs, combine Juliao (Juliao) and Huantiao (Jump Ring) with Weizhong. Shangwan (Upper Stomach) and Zhongwan treat nine types of heart pain; for red and white leukorrhea, seek the differences in Zhongji (Central Pole). For heart deficiency with heat congestion, Shaochong (Little Shock) clarifies emergency rescue; for blurred vision and blood overflow, Ganshu (Liver Transporter) distinguishes excess and deficiency. Pay attention to the profound essentials of transmission, investigate the speed and slowness of manipulation. Or when encountering insufficient pain from trauma or sprains, these are difficult to determine acupoints for removal. Song of Eleven Acupoints for Miscellaneous Diseases

*Zhenjiu Daquan*

Zanzhu and Sizhukong mainly treat headaches; both lateral and central headaches are suitable for needling here.

Also go to Dadu (Great Capital) and slowly reduce; Fengchi is suitable for needling three fen deep.

Needle Quchi and Hegu first with reducing method, forever removing diseases without invasion.

Following this needling technique, there is no response that fails; each teaches immediate peace.

For head wind, headache, and toothache, seek Hegu and Sanjian (Third Intercstice).

Also needle Dadu for eye pain; use manipulation within Taiyuan.

Needle Lvxi (Taixi) three fen for toothache; for tooth pain, refer to the finger points mentioned before.

Add Dadu for left-right cross treatment, carefully seeking the intersection.

Combine Tinghui with Tinggong (Listening Palace). Reduce seven fen for ear deafness.

Reduce Ermen (Ear Gate) by about three fen, plus seven moxa cones on Tinggong.

Reduce within the Large Intestine meridian: Quchi and Hegu at seven fen.

If the physician understands this principle, efficacy is seen upon needling.

For shoulder, back, and shoulder blade pain, Quchi and Hegu three fen deep.

If not healed, add Chize one cun, then proceed to Sanjian.

Insert each seven fen into the acupoint; Shaoshang, Fengfu etc. pierce the Heart meridian (Note: Text likely implies specific combinations). Use depth according to law, relieving disease instantly.

From throat down to navel, hundred diseases are critical in the stomach region.

When heart qi pain occurs, chest feels knotted and hard; with shaoyang, vomiting, hiccups, and stifling saliva follow.

Needle Lieque three fen; reduce three fen to Fengchi.

Sanjian and Zusanli on both legs; Zhongchong (Middle Shock) also needled five fen.

If sweat is hard to come, Wanggu needs five fen reduction.

Yuji (Fish Border), Jingqu (Channel Source), and Tongli: reduce one fen for profuse sweating.

Sanjian on two fingers and Zusanli; five fen on the thumb is appropriate.

If sweat reaches all over the body, one who understands this is a good doctor.

For limb weakness from evil wind, dry eyes, and hundred diseases attacking;

With mental fatigue and muteness, open with Fengchi and Hegu.

Reduce Sanjian in both hands subsequently; combine with Zusanli and Taichong.

Insert five fen each; following Ying-Sui methods yields divine power.

Fengchi and interstices of hand and foot: right hemiplegia is called "huan", left is "tan".

Needle five fen each and reduce subsequently; add seven moxa cones for body peace.

Zusanli and Yinjiao move qi with reduction; measure one inch three fen by disease.

Add thirty-seven moxa cones per acupoint; naturally, paralysis is instantly relieved.

For malaria, prepare to needle Quchi; Jingqu and Hegu are suitable together.

Needle five fen in these two points; malaria entangling the body departs.

If not healed, add Sanjian needling; five fen deep, do not worry.

If accompanied by qi pain increasing chills and fever, manipulate Jianshi without delay.

For leg, knee, waist pain and痞气 (masses), exhaust the Guangu acupoint at seven fen.

Further needle Fengshi and Zusanli; one inch three fen for tonifying and reducing equally.

Also reduce Yinjiao one inch; still needle Xingjian (Between the Toes) five fen.

Advance and retreat with soft and hard techniques following respiration; removing disease takes but a moment's twisting.

When elbows and knees hurt, needle Quchi; advancing and retreating one cun is suitable.

Left disease needle right, right disease needle left; following this, three fen reducing qi is unique.

For knee pain, needle Dubi (Cattle Nose) two cun; Zusanli and Yinjiao require seven times.

If you can carefully seek its principle, the merit of seizing disease is in an instant.

Acupuncture Song

*Bianque Yulong Jing*

Apoplexy and paralysis lasting years: apply moxa heat to Qubin (Seven Places).

Deafness and qi closure: in Tinghui; Baihui for prolapse and bleeding.

Chengjiang for sudden aphasia and mouth deviation; Jiache below ear and mouth corner for deviation.

Lateral and central headache and dizziness: Xinhui and Shenting are most intimate.

For chronic wind-labor and qi cough, moxa both sides below the first thoracic vertebra.

For lung pain, panting, and difficulty lying flat, Huagai and Zhongfu bring peace.

For throat closure, loss of voice, and hemoptysis, carefully seek Tiantu straight without bias.

For scrofula, seek within Quepen (Clavicular Fossa); Zigong for hemoptysis is a true secret transmission.

For cholera-like vomiting and diarrhea with spirit depletion, moxa Zhongwan to save life.

For food stagnation beside navel, take Zhangmen; for qi masses and food accumulation, take Zhongwan.

One cun above navel is named Shuifen; for abdominal distension, apply hand techniques directly.

Guanyuan and Qihai below the navel center: truly wonderful for deficiency, exhaustion, and metrorrhagia.

For vomiting, first seek Geshu (Diaphragm Transporter); for hypochondriac pain, Ganshu removes eye films.

Shoulders like reversed bows, arms like broken branches: Quchi, Yanglao, and Jianyu.

For diarrhea and dysentery, take inside the navel; Yishe (Intention Storage) for thirst is not false.

For qi stabbing in both breasts, within Zhongting; Juque and Youmen are best.

Suddenly下部 (lower part) develops Ben Tun (running piglet), moxa Wushu.

Feishu and Pohu treat lung diseases; moxa Pishu (Spleen Transporter) for malaria to退 (retreat) chills and fever.

Gaohuang two points are hard to find; for deficiency, exhaustion, seminal emission, and upward qi.

For five types of hemorrhoids, only moxa Changqiang; intestinal wind and hemorrhoids are especially good.

For intestinal abscess, moxa around four sides of navel; distance half cun should be considered.

For red and white leukorrhea, take Xiaochangshu (Small Intestine Transporter); for coughing up air, point to Qimen long.

Dazhun two points on big toe: for metrorrhagia and epistaxis, examine carefully.

For stiff neck, Tianjing and Tianzhu; for nasal congestion, Shangxing is truly selectable.

For prolapse of birth canal (Chan Gui), Yinqiao and Navel Center are main points.

For women's blood qi pain unbearable, moxa Siman (Four Fullnesses) for effect.

Two cun below navel is named Shimen: acupuncture and moxibustion make people sterile.

Jianyu opposite treats flaccidity retention; count moxa cones directly to seek.

For abdomen connected with steaming bone disorder, one moxa of Si Hua brings no worry.

When taking Huantiao, must lie on side; for cold bi, tendon contraction, and foot inability to grasp.

For muscle cramps, quickly moxa Chengshan; Taichong for cold hernia heals instantly.

For jiaqi, Zusanli and Fengshi; for waist pain, Kunlun and Ququan (Text says 'Qu Yue Qiu Li', likely error for Ququan).

Fuliu specifically treats five types of strangury; Yongquan for those without pregnancy must conceive.

For damp itching in yin, between Yinqiao; for hernia, Dazhun on big toe.

For mania and five epilepsies, moxa starts at four places on hands and feet.

For wind striking ground pain and foot joint pain: Jinggu, Fuyang, and Pucan.

Heart like awl piercing: on Taixi; for eye pain, moxa Quanjian (Knuckle Tip/Jinggu).

For Li Jie gout pain in two places: Feiyang and Juegu can heal.

For spleen deficiency, abdominal distension, and body edema: Dadu and Zusanli, moxa should burn.

For red and white dysentery, take Zhonglv (Middle Spine); back spine Sanjiao is best master.

For arm and hand pain: Shousanli, Wanggu, Zhouliao, and Zhongzhu.

For eye bones, additionally take Yixi (Whispering Whisper); for shoulder and back pain, combine moxa Tianzhu.

Yaoshu (Waugh Transporter) one point is most miraculous; moxa middle for waist pain... (Text 'Yao Tong Shi' likely means severe waist pain or similar).

For injury from drunkenness and fullness causing yellow face, only moxa Feiyang and Kufang.
