中之火尽散，而流毒手掌中。必其人是阳明之火盛，手按于床席之上，作意行房，过于用力，使掌上之气
血不行，久而突突而高也。不痛不痒，乃成死肉矣。方用附子一个煎汤，以手渍之，至凉而止。如是者十
日，必然作痛，再渍必然作痒，又渍而高者平矣。盖附子大热之物；无经不入，虽用外渍，无不内入也。
倘以附子
作汤饮之、则周身俱热，又引动胃火，掌肉不消而内症蜂起，予所以外治而愈也。或附子汤中，再
加轻粉一分。引入骨髓，更为奇效耳。
有人鼻大如拳，疼痛欲死，此乃肺经之火热壅于鼻而不得泄。法当清其肺中之邪，去其鼻间之火
可也。方用黄芩三钱，甘草三钱，桔梗五钱，紫菀二钱。百部一钱，天门冬五钱，麦冬三钱。苏叶一
钱，天花粉三钱，水煎服，（〔批〕解壅汤。）四剂自消。此方全在群入肺经，以去其火邪，又何壅
肿之不消耶。此奇病而以常法治之者也。
男子乳房，忽然壅肿如妇人之状，扪之痛欲死，经岁经年不效者，乃阳明之毒瓦斯结于乳房之间
也。然此毒非疮毒，乃痰毒也。若疮毒，不能经久，必然外溃。今经岁经年壅肿如故，非痰毒而何？法
当消其痰，通其瘀，自然奏功如响矣。
方用金银花一两。蒲公英一两，天花粉五钱，白芥子五钱，附子一钱，柴胡二钱，白芍三钱，通草
三钱，木通一钱，炒栀子三钱，茯苓三钱，水煎服。（〔批〕化圣通滞汤。）此方妙在金银花与蒲公英直
入阳明之经，又得清痰通滞之药为佐，附子引经，单刀直入，无坚不破，又何患痰结之不消。或疑附子大
热，诸痛皆属于火，似不可用。殊不知非附子不能入于至坚之内。况又有栀子、芍药之酸寒，虽附子大
热，亦解其性之烈矣，又何疑于过热哉。
人脚板中，色红如火，不可落地，又非痰毒，终岁经年不愈。此病亦因人用热药，立而行房，火聚于
脚心而不散，故经岁经年不愈也。法当用内药消之，若作外治，必然烂去脚板。方用熟地三两，山茱萸
五钱，北五味三钱，麦冬一两，元参一两，沙参一两，丹皮三钱，甘菊花五钱，牛膝三钱。
金钗石斛一两，茯苓五钱，泽泻三钱，车前子三钱，萆 二钱，水煎服。（〔批〕祛火丹）。十剂
消，二十剂全愈。然须忌房事三月，否则必发，发则死矣。慎之哉。
人有手足脱下，而人仍不死之症，此乃伤寒之时口渴，过饮凉水，以救一时之渴，孰知水停腹内，不
能一时分消，遂至四肢受病，气血不行，久而手足先烂。手指与脚指堕落。或脚指堕落之后，又烂脚板，久
之连脚板一齐堕落矣，若有伤寒口渴，过饮凉水者，愈后倘手足指出水者，急用吾方，可救指节脚板之
堕落也。方用薏仁三两，茯苓二两、肉桂一钱，白术一两，车前子五钱，水煎服。一连十剂，小便大利，
而手脚不出水矣，永无后患，不必多服。
更有人手指甲尽行脱下，不痛不痒，此乃肾经火虚，又于行房之后，以凉水洗手，遂成此病。方用
六味汤加柴胡，白芍。骨碎补治之而愈。
有人指缝流血不止，有虫如蜉蝣之小，钻出少顷，即能飞去，此症乃湿热生虫也。然何故生虫而
能飞耶？盖不止湿热，而又带风邪也。凡虫感风者，俱有羽翼能飞，安在人身得风之气，转不能飞也。方
用茯苓三钱，黄 五钱，当归三钱，白芍三钱，生甘草三钱，人参一钱，柴胡一钱，荆芥一钱，熟地五
钱，川芎一钱。白术三钱，薏仁五钱，水煎服。此方之妙，全不去杀虫，而但补其气血，而佐之去湿去风。
人身气血和，自不生虫。补气血之和，则虫自无藏身之窟，况又逐水消风，虫更从何处生活耶，此方之所
以平而奇也。服四剂则血不流，而虫不出。再服四剂，手指完好如初矣。
人有喉患大肿，又非瘿瘤；忽痛忽不痛，外现五色之纹、
中按之半空半实，此乃痰病结成，似瘤非瘤，似瘿非瘿也。方用海藻三钱，半夏三钱，白芥子三钱，
贝母三钱，南星三钱，人参三钱，茯苓五钱，昆布一钱，附子一分，桔梗三钱，甘草一钱，水煎服。此方乃
消上焦之痰，圣药也。又有海藻、昆布，以去其瘿瘤之外象，消其五色之奇纹。妙在消痰而仍不损气，
则胃气健而痰易化也。一剂知，二剂消大半，三剂。则全消，四剂永不再发，此方兼可治瘿症，神效。
人有脐口忽长出二寸，似蛇尾伏，而又非蛇，不痛不痒，此乃祟也。然亦因任带之脉痰气壅滞，遂结
成此异病也。人世之间，忽生此病，必有难喻之灾。盖人身而现蛇龟之象，其家必然败落，而时运亦未必
兴隆也。法当以硼砂一分，白芷一钱，雄黄一钱，冰片一分，麝香一分，儿茶二钱，各为末。将其尾刺出
血，必然昏晕欲死，急以药点之，立刻化为黑水急用白芷三钱，煎汤服之而愈。倘不愈，则听之，不可再治。
盖妖旺非药能去之。非前世之冤家，即今生之妖孽也。
人有粪门内拖出一条，似蛇非蛇，或进或出，便粪之时，又安然无碍，此乃大肠湿热之极，生此
怪物，长于直肠之间，非蛇也，乃肉也，但伸缩如意，又似乎蛇。法当内用汤药。外用点药，自然消化矣。
内用当归一两，白芍一两，枳壳一钱，槟榔一钱；萝卜子三钱，地榆五钱，大黄一钱，水煎，饭前服
之。（〔批〕逐邪杀蛇丹。）二剂后，外用冰片点之。失用木耳一两、煎汤洗之，洗后将冰片一分，研
末而扫，扫尽即缩进而愈，神验。
亦有人粪门生虫，奇痒万状，似人之势进出而后快者。此乃幼时为人戏耍，乘风而入之，以见此怪症
也。以蜜煎成为势一条，用蛇床子三钱，生甘草一钱，楝树根三钱，各为
细末，同炼在蜜内，导入粪门，听其自化。一条即止痒而愈，神方也。
人有小便中溺五色之石，未溺之前痛甚，已溺之后，少觉宽快，此即石淋也。交感之后入水，或入
水之后交感，皆有此症。方用熟地三两，茯苓五两，薏仁五两，车前子五两，山茱萸三两，青盐一两，
骨碎补二两，泽泻三两，麦冬五两，芡实八两，肉桂三钱，各为末，蜜为丸。早晚白滚水吞下各一两，（〔
批〕消石神丹。）十日必无溺石之苦矣。此症成之最苦，欲溺而不溺，不溺而又欲溺，尿管中痛如刀
割，用尽气力，止溺一块，其声铮然，见水不化，及膀胱之火熬煎而成此异病也。其色或红或白，或黄或
青或黑不一，总皆水郁而火煎之也。此方之妙，全不去治石淋，而转去补肾水之不足。水足而火自消，火
消而水自化，其中有奥妙之旨也。倘治膀胱，则气不能出，又何以化水哉。
人有脚肚之上忽长一大肉块，如瘤非瘤，如肉非肉，按之痛欲死，此乃脾经湿气结成此块，而中又带
火不消，故手不可按，按而痛欲死也。法宜峻补脾气，而分消其湿为是。然而外长怪状，若在内一时消
之，恐不易得。当用内外夹攻之法，自然手到病除。内服方∶用白术一两，茯苓三钱，薏仁一两，芡实
一两，泽泻五钱，肉桂五分，车前子三钱，人参三钱，牛膝二钱，萆 三钱，白矾三钱，陈皮二钱，白芥
子三钱，半复二钱，水煎服。（〔批〕消湿化怪汤。）二剂后，用蚯蚓粪一两、炒，水银一钱，冰片
五分，硼砂一分，黄柏五钱，炒，儿茶三钱，麝香五分，各为细末。研至不见水银为度，将此药末用醋
调成膏，敷在患处。（〔批〕消块神丹。）一日即全消矣，神效之极也。此膏可治凡有块者，以此内外治之，
无不
效应如响。
人腰间忽长一条肉痕，如带围至脐间，不痛不痒，久之饮食少进，气血枯槁。此乃肾经与带脉
不和，又过于行房，尽情纵送，乃得此疾。久之带脉气衰，血亦渐耗，颜色黯然，虽无大病，而病实笃
也。法当峻补肾水，而兼外带脉，自然身壮而形消。熟地一斤，山萸肉一斤，杜仲半斤，山药半斤，
白术一斤。破故纸三两，白果肉三两，炒，当归三两，白芍六两，车前子三两，各为末，蜜为丸。每日早
晚各服一两。（〔批〕灭痕丹。）十日后，觉腰轻。再服十日，其肉浅淡。再服全消，不须二料也。然必
须忌房事者三月，否则无效。此方乃纯补肾经，而少兼任、带脉也。任、带之病，而用任、带之药，何愁
不建功哉。
有人眼内长肉二条，长一寸，如线香之粗，触出于眼外，此乃崇也。虽是肝胆之火，无崇则不能长
此异肉。法当药点之。冰片一分，黄连一分，硼砂半分，甘草一分，各为细末，无声为度。用人乳调
少许，点肉尖上。（〔批〕去刺全目丹。）觉眼珠火炮出，一时收入而愈。更须服煎药，用白芍五钱，
柴胡一钱，炒桅子三钱，甘草一钱，白芥子三钱，茯苓三钱，陈皮一钱，白术三钱，水煎服。（〔批〕
舒郁全睛丹。）此方妙在舒肝胆之气，而又泻其火与痰，则本源已探其骊珠，又何愁怪肉之重长耶。
人身忽长鳞于腹间胁上，此乃妇人居多，而男子亦间生焉。盖孽龙多化人，与妇人交，即成此症。而男
子与龙合。亦间生鳞甲也。此病速治为妙，少迟则人必变为龙矣。今先传一方，用雷丸三钱，大黄三钱，
白矾三钱，铁衣三钱，雄黄三钱，研末，各为末，枣肉为丸。（〔批〕黄雷丸。）凡得此病，
酒送下三钱，立时便下如人精者一碗，胸中便觉开爽。再服三钱，则鳞甲尽落矣。远公，吾传术至此，非无
意也汝将来救人不少，此方之妙，妙在雷丸无毒不散，而龙又最恶雄黄，故相济而成功，又何疑哉。况各
药又皆去毒去水之品乎，此方之最神最奇者也。
此书无一症不全，无一论不备，真天地之奇宝，轩岐之精髓也。善用之，成医之圣，岂但良医而已
哉。愿远公晨夕研穷，以造于出神入化耳。吕道人又书。
华君曰∶奇病尚有数症未全，我今尽传无隐。人手上皮上现蛇形一条，痛不可忍。此蛇乘人之睡，而
作交感于人身，乃生此怪病。服汤药不效。以刀刺之，出血如墨汁，外用白芷为末，糁之少愈。明日又
刺，血如前，又以白芷末糁之，二次化去其形。先刺头，后刺尾，不可乱也。
尚有一症更奇，喉中似有物行动，吐痰则痛更甚，身上皮肤开裂，有水流出，目红肿而又不痛，足如
斗肿而又可行，真绝世不见之症。此乃人食生菜，有娱蚣在叶上。不知而食之，乃生蜈蚣于胃口之上，入
胃则胃痛，上喉则喉痛，饥则痛更甚也。方用鸡一只，煮熟，五香调治，芬馥之气逼人，乘人睡熟，将鸡
列在病患口边，则蜈蚣自然外走。倘有蜈蚣走出，立时拿住，不许其仍进口中。或一条，或数条不等，出
尽自愈。大约喉间无物走动，则无娱蚣矣。然后以生甘草三钱，薏仁一两，茯苓三两，白芍五钱，当归一
两，黄 一两，防风五分，荆芥一钱，陈皮一钱，水煎。（〔批〕全肤汤）。服十剂，则皮肤之裂自愈，而
双足如斗亦消矣。盖蜈蚣在上焦，非药食能杀。因药下喉，即至胃中，而娱蚣却在胃口之上，故不能杀之
也。所以引其外出，然后以药调治其气血自愈。皮肤开裂者，乃蜈蚣毒瓦斯盆踞肺边，肺主皮毛，故皮肤开
裂。两
足如斗，足乃肾之部位，肺居上，为肾之母，母病则予亦病。然肾水终是不乏，而毒瓦斯留于肾部，故足
之皮大而浮，非骨之病也，所以能走耳。眼属肝，肝受肺气之毒熏蒸而红肿矣。更有奇症，人有胃脘不时
作痛，遇饥更甚，尤畏大寒，日日作楚。予以大蒜三两，捣汁灌之，忽吐蛇一条，长三尺而愈。盖蛇最
畏蒜气，此予亲手治人者。
更有人忽头面肿如斗大，看人小如三寸，饮食不思，呻吟如睡，此痰也。（〔批〕天师曰∶此亦邪气
凭之迫。）用瓜蒂散吐之，而头目之肿消。又吐之，而见人如故矣。后用人参、白术各三钱，茯苓三钱，甘
草一钱，陈皮五分，半夏三钱，水煎服，三剂愈。
更治陈登之病，中心闷甚，面赤不能饮食。予谓有虫在胸中，必得之食腥也。以半夏三钱，瓜蒂七个，
甘草三钱，黄连一钱，陈皮一钱，人参三钱吐之。（〔批〕加味瓜蒂散。）吐虫三升，皆赤头而尾如鱼。
予谓能断酒色，可长愈，否则，三年后必病饱满而死。登不听吾言，三年果死。
相传∶华真人治一人，被犬咬其足指，随长一块，痛痒不可当。谓疼者有针十个，痒者有黑白棋子二
枚。以刀割开取之。果然否？真人云∶并无此事，后人附会之也。更治一人，耳内忽长肉一条，手不可
近，色红带紫。予曰∶此肾火腾烧于耳也。用硼砂一分，冰片一分点之，立化为水。后用六味地黄丸。大
料饮之，服二料全愈。
张公曰∶人大腿肿痛，坚硬如石，痛苦异常，欲以绳系足，高悬梁上。其疼乃止。放下疼即如砍，腿
中大响一声，前肿即移大臀之上，肿如巴斗，不可着席，将布兜之悬挂，其疼乃可，此亦崇凭之也。方用
生甘草一两，白芍三两，水
煎服。盖生甘草专泻毒瓦斯。白芍平肝木以止痛也，痛止则肿可消，毒出则崇可杜也。
人有心窝外忽然生疮如碗大，变成数口，能作人声叫喊此乃忧郁不舒，而崇凭之也。用生甘草三
体内的火气完全消散，毒气流注于手掌中。这必定是因为患者阳明经火气旺盛，手按在床席上，刻意行房事，用力过猛，导致手掌的气血运行不畅，久而久之，气血郁结突起而高耸。不痛也不痒，最终形成死肉。方剂用附子一枚煎汤，将手浸泡其中，直到药液变凉为止。像这样连续十天，必然会出现疼痛感；再次浸泡必然会出现瘙痒感；继续浸泡，高起的部位就会平复。这是因为附子是极热之物，无处不到，即使是外用浸泡，药力也能内入体内。倘若让患者服用附子煎成的汤药，则全身都会发热，又会引动胃火，掌部的死肉不仅不能消除，反而会导致内部病症蜂拥而起，所以我采用外治法而治愈了它。如果在附子汤中加入一分轻粉，引入骨髓，疗效更为奇妙。
有人鼻子大如拳头，疼痛难忍，欲死一般，这是肺经火热邪气壅滞于鼻部而无法宣泄所致。治疗法则应当清除肺中的邪气，去除鼻间的火气即可。方剂用黄芩三钱，甘草三钱，桔梗五钱，紫菀二钱，百部一钱，天门冬五钱，麦冬三钱，苏叶一钱，天花粉三钱，水煎服。（批注：解壅汤。）服用四剂后自然消退。此方的妙处在于所有药物都入肺经，以去除火邪，又怎么会有壅肿不消的情况呢？这是用常规方法治疗奇异疾病。
男子的乳房突然肿胀，状如妇人，触摸时疼痛难忍，经过一年甚至多年治疗无效，这是阳明经的毒瓦斯结聚在乳房之间。然而这种毒不是疮毒，而是痰毒。如果是疮毒，不可能经久不愈，必然会向外溃烂。如今经过一年或多年依然肿胀如初，如果不是痰毒是什么？治疗法则应当消除痰浊，疏通瘀滞，自然会像回声一样迅速见效。
方剂用金银花一两，蒲公英一两，天花粉五钱，白芥子五钱，附子一钱，柴胡二钱，白芍三钱，通草三钱，木通一钱，炒栀子三钱，茯苓三钱，水煎服。（批注：化圣通滞汤。）此方的妙处在于金银花与蒲公英直接入阳明经，又有清痰通滞的药物作为辅助，附子引导药力，单刀直入，无坚不摧，又何必担心痰结不能消除呢？或许有人怀疑附子大热，而各种疼痛多属于火证，似乎不可使用。殊不知若非附子，无法进入至坚硬的病灶内部。况且又有栀子、芍药的酸寒之性，虽然附子大热，也能化解其猛烈之性，又何必担忧过热呢？
人的脚底板颜色红如火烧，不敢着地，又不是痰毒，终年累月不愈。这个病也是由于人服用热药后立即行房事，火气聚集在脚心而不散，所以经年累月不愈。治疗法则应当用内服药消除，如果做外治，必然会导致脚底板腐烂脱落。方剂用熟地黄三两，山茱萸五钱，北五味子三钱，麦冬一两，玄参一两，沙参一两，丹皮三钱，甘菊花五钱，牛膝三钱，金钗石斛一两，茯苓五钱，泽泻三钱，车前子三钱，萆薢二钱，水煎服。（批注：祛火丹。）服用十剂消退，二十剂痊愈。然而必须禁欲三个月，否则必然复发，一旦复发就会死亡。务必谨慎。
有的人手足脱落，但人仍然不死，这是伤寒期间口渴，过量饮用凉水以缓解一时的口渴，谁知道水停在腹内，不能一时分散消除，致使四肢受病，气血不通，久而久之手指和脚趾先腐烂脱落。或者脚趾脱落后，脚底板又腐烂，时间久了连脚底板一起脱落。如果有伤寒口渴，过量饮用凉水的人，病愈后如果发现手指脚趾渗出水来，急忙使用我的方子，可以挽救指节和脚底板的脱落。方剂用薏苡仁三两，茯苓二两，肉桂一钱，白术一两，车前子五钱，水煎服。连续服用十剂，小便大利，手脚就不渗水了，永远没有后患，不必多服。
还有人手指甲全部脱落，不痛不痒，这是肾经火气虚弱，又在行房事后用凉水洗手，遂成此病。方剂用六味地黄汤加柴胡、白芍、骨碎补治疗而痊愈。
有人指缝流血不止，有虫子像蜉蝣那么小，钻出来一会儿，就能飞去，这个症状是湿热生虫所致。然而为什么生虫却能飞呢？盖因不止湿热，还带有风邪。凡是虫子感受到风的，都有翅膀能飞，人在身体里得到风的气息，难道就不能飞吗？方剂用茯苓三钱，黄柏五钱，当归三钱，白芍三钱，生甘草三钱，人参一钱，柴胡一钱，荆芥一钱，熟地黄五钱，川芎一钱，白术三钱，薏苡仁五钱，水煎服。此方的妙处，全在于不去杀虫，只是补益气血，并辅以去湿祛风。人身气血调和，自然不生虫。补益气血使身体和谐，虫子自然没有藏身之处，何况又驱逐水湿、消除风邪，虫子更从哪里生活呢？这就是此方平和而奇妙的原因。服用四剂则血停止流动，虫子不再出来。再服四剂，手指完好如初。
有人咽喉患大肿，又不是瘿瘤；忽痛忽不痛，外部呈现五色纹路，中间按压半空半实，这是痰病结成，似瘤非瘤，似瘿非瘿。方剂用海藻三钱，半夏三钱，白芥子三钱，贝母三钱，南星三钱，人参三钱，茯苓五钱，昆布一钱，附子一分，桔梗三钱，甘草一钱，水煎服。此方是消除上焦痰浊的圣药。又有海藻、昆布，以去除瘿瘤的外部表象，消除五色的奇特纹路。妙在消痰而不损伤正气，则胃气强健而痰易化解。一剂见效，二剂消退大半，三剂则全消，四剂永不再发，此方兼可治疗瘿症，神效。
有人肚脐口忽然长出二寸长，像蛇尾伏卧，而又不是蛇，不痛不痒，这是邪祟作怪。但也因为任脉、带脉的痰气壅滞，遂结成此异病。世间忽然生出此病，必有难以言喻的灾祸。因为人身出现蛇龟之象，其家族必然败落，而且时运也未必兴隆。治疗法则当用硼砂一分，白芷一钱，雄黄一钱，冰片一分，麝香一分，儿茶二钱，各研为末。将其尾部刺出血，必然昏晕欲死，急忙用药点涂，立刻化为黑水。急忙用白芷三钱煎汤服下而痊愈。倘若不愈，就听之任之，不可再治。因为妖气旺盛非药物所能去除。不是前世的冤家，就是今生的妖孽。
有人肛门内拖出一条，像蛇非蛇，或进或出，排便时安然无碍，这是大肠湿热至极，生出此怪物，长在直肠之间，不是蛇，而是肉，但伸缩如意，又似乎像蛇。治疗法则应当内服汤药，外用点药，自然消化。内服方：用当归一两，白芍一两，枳壳一钱，槟榔一钱，萝卜子三钱，地榆五钱，大黄一钱，水煎，饭前服用。（批注：逐邪杀蛇丹。）二剂后，外用冰片点涂。再用木耳一两煎汤清洗，洗后将冰片一分研末扫敷，扫尽即缩回而愈，神验。
也有人肛门生虫，奇痒无比，像人的生殖器进出后才痛快。这是幼时被人戏耍，乘风而入，才见此怪症。用蜜煎制成一条栓剂，用蛇床子三钱，生甘草一钱，楝树根三钱，各研为细末，同炼在蜜内，导入肛门，听其自然化解。一条即可止痒而愈，神方。
有人小便中排出五色石头，未排尿之前疼痛剧烈，排尿之后稍觉宽快，这就是石淋症。性交后入水，或入水后性交，都有此症。方剂用熟地黄三两，茯苓五两，薏苡仁五两，车前子五两，山茱萸三两，青盐一两，骨碎补二两，泽泻三两，麦冬五两，芡实八两，肉桂三钱，各研为末，蜂蜜为丸。早晚用白开水吞服各一两，（批注：消石神丹。）十日必无排尿石头的痛苦了。此症成因最苦，想排却排不出，不排又想排，尿管中痛如刀割，用尽力气，只排出一块石头，声音清脆，遇水不化，是由于膀胱之火煎熬而成此异病。其颜色或红或白，或黄或青或黑不一，总都是水郁积而被火煎熬所致。此方的妙处，全在于不去治石淋，而是转而补肾水之不足。水足而火自消，火消而水自化，其中有奥妙的旨意。倘若治疗膀胱，则气不能出，又怎么能化水呢？
有人小腿肚子忽然长一大肉块，像瘤非瘤，像肉非肉，按压时疼痛难忍，这是脾经湿气结成此块，而中间又带有火气不消，所以手不可按，按则痛欲死。治疗法则宜峻补脾气，而分消其湿。然而外部长出怪异形状，若在内部一时消除，恐怕不容易做到。应当用内外夹攻的方法，自然手到病除。内服方：用白术一两，茯苓三钱，薏苡仁一两，芡实一两，泽泻五钱，肉桂五分，车前子三钱，人参三钱，牛膝二钱，萆薢三钱，白矾三钱，陈皮二钱，白芥子三钱，半夏二钱，水煎服。（批注：消湿化怪汤。）二剂后，用蚯蚓粪一两炒制，水银一钱，冰片五分，硼砂一分，黄柏五钱炒制，儿茶三钱，麝香五分，各研为细末。研磨至看不见水银为止，将此药末用醋调成膏，敷在患处。（批注：消块神丹。）一天即全消，神效之极。此膏可治疗凡是有肿块者，以此内外治之，无不效应如响。
有人腰间忽然长一条肉痕，像带子围至脐间，不痛不痒，久了饮食减少，气血枯槁。这是肾经与带脉不和，又过于行房，尽情纵欲，才得此疾。久了带脉气衰，血亦渐耗，面色黯然，虽无大病，而病情其实深重。治疗法则当峻补肾水，而兼治带脉，自然身体强壮而形体消瘦。熟地黄一斤，山茱萸肉一斤，杜仲半斤，山药半斤，白术一斤，破故纸三两，白果肉三两炒制，当归三两，白芍六两，车前子三两，各研为末，蜂蜜为丸。每日早晚各服一两。（批注：灭痕丹。）十日后，觉得腰轻。再服十日，其肉颜色浅淡。再服全消，不需要两料。然而必须禁欲三个月，否则无效。此方乃纯补肾经，而少兼任、带脉。任、带之病，用任、带之药，何愁不建功哉。
有人眼内长出两条肉，长一寸，像线香粗细，突出于眼外，这是邪祟作怪。虽然是肝胆之火，无邪祟则不能长此异肉。治疗法则当用药点涂。冰片一分，黄连一分，硼砂半分，甘草一分，各研为细末，研至无声为止。用人乳调少许，点涂在肉尖上。（批注：去刺全目丹。）感觉眼珠像炮火冲出，一时收入而愈。更须服用煎药，用白芍五钱，柴胡一钱，炒栀子三钱，甘草一钱，白芥子三钱，茯苓三钱，陈皮一钱，白术三钱，水煎服。（批注：舒郁全睛丹。）此方妙在舒达肝胆之气，而又泻其火与痰，则本源已探其骊珠，又何必担心怪肉重新生长呢？
人身忽然在腹部胁上长出鳞片，这多见于妇人，男子也偶尔生成。大概孽龙多化为人，与妇人交合，即成此症。而男子与龙交合，也偶尔生鳞甲。此病速治为妙，稍迟则人必变为龙了。现先传一方，用雷丸三钱，大黄三钱，白矾三钱，铁衣三钱，雄黄三钱，研末，各为末，枣肉为丸。（批注：黄雷丸。）凡得此病，酒送下三钱，立时便排出如人精一碗，胸中便觉开爽。再服三钱，则鳞甲尽落矣。远公，我传授医术至此，并非无意。你将来救人不少，此方之妙，妙在雷丸无毒而能散，而龙又最恶雄黄，故相辅相济而成功，又何疑哉。况且各药又都是去毒去水的物品乎，此方是最神最奇的。
这本书无一症不全备，无一论不详尽，真是天地之奇宝，轩辕岐伯之精髓也。善于运用它，成为医中之圣，岂止良医而已哉。愿远公晨夕钻研穷究，以达到出神入化的境界。吕道人又书。
华君说：奇异疾病还有数种症状未完全记载，我今天全部毫无保留地传授。人手上皮肤表面现出一条蛇形，疼痛不可忍受。这条蛇趁人睡觉时，与人交感而生此怪病。服用汤药无效。用刀刺之，出血如墨汁，外用白芷为末，撒敷其上稍见好转。明日又刺，血如前状，又以白芷末撒敷，二次化去其形。先刺头，后刺尾，不可乱序。
尚有一种症状更奇，喉中似有物行动，吐痰则疼痛更甚，身上皮肤开裂，有水流出，眼睛红肿却不痛，脚如斗肿大却仍能行走，真是绝世不见的症状。这是人吃生菜，有蜈蚣在叶上，不知而食之，乃生蜈蚣于胃口之上，入胃则胃痛，上喉则喉痛，饥饿时疼痛更甚。方剂用鸡一只，煮熟，五香调味，芬馥之气逼人，趁人睡熟，将鸡列在病患口边，则蜈蚣自然外走。倘有蜈蚣走出，立即拿住，不许其仍进口中。或一条，或数条不等，出尽自愈。大约喉间无物走动，则无蜈蚣矣。然后以生甘草三钱，薏苡仁一两，茯苓三两，白芍五钱，当归一两，黄柏一两，防风五分，荆芥一钱，陈皮一钱，水煎。（批注：全肤汤）。服用十剂，则皮肤之裂自愈，而双足如斗亦消矣。盖蜈蚣在上焦，非药食能杀。因药下喉，即至胃中，而蜈蚣却在胃口之上，故不能杀之也。所以引其外出，然后以药调治其气血自愈。皮肤开裂者，乃蜈蚣毒瓦斯盘踞肺边，肺主皮毛，故皮肤开裂。两足如斗，足乃肾之部位，肺居上，为肾之母，母病则子亦病。然肾水终是不乏，而毒瓦斯留于肾部，故足之皮大而浮，非骨之病也，所以能走耳。眼属肝，肝受肺气之毒熏蒸而红肿矣。更有奇症，人有胃脘不时作痛，遇饥更甚，尤畏大寒，日日作楚。我以大蒜三两，捣汁灌之，忽吐蛇一条，长三尺而愈。盖蛇最畏蒜气，此予亲手治人者。
更有人忽然头面肿如斗大，看人小如三寸，饮食不思，呻吟如睡，这是痰症。（批注：天师曰：此亦邪气凭之迫。）用瓜蒂散吐之，而头目之肿消。又吐之，而见人如故矣。后用人参、白术各三钱，茯苓三钱，甘草一钱，陈皮五分，半夏三钱，水煎服，三剂愈。
更治陈登之病，心中闷甚，面赤不能饮食。我说有虫在胸中，必得之食腥也。以半夏三钱，瓜蒂七个，甘草三钱，黄连一钱，陈皮一钱，人参三钱吐之。（批注：加味瓜蒂散。）吐虫三升，皆赤头而尾如鱼。我说若能断酒色，可长愈，否则，三年后必病饱满而死。登不听吾言，三年果死。
相传：华真人治一人，被犬咬其足指，随长一块，痛痒不可当。谓疼者有针十个，痒者有黑白棋子二枚。以刀割开取之。果然否？真人云：并无此事，后人附会之也。更治一人，耳内忽长肉一条，手不可近，色红带紫。我说：此肾火腾烧于耳也。用硼砂一分，冰片一分点之，立化为水。后用六味地黄丸。大料饮之，服二料全愈。
张公说：人大腿肿痛，坚硬如石，痛苦异常，欲以绳系足，高悬梁上。其疼乃止。放下疼即如砍，腿中大响一声，前肿即移大臀之上，肿如巴斗，不可着席，将布兜之悬挂，其疼乃可，此亦邪祟凭之也。方用生甘草一两，白芍三两，水煎服。盖生甘草专泻毒瓦斯。白芍平肝木以止痛也，痛止则肿可消，毒出则祟可杜也。
The fire within the body dissipates completely, and the toxic pathogen flows into the palm. This is necessarily because the patient has excessive Fire in the Yangming channel. The hand was pressed against the bed mat, and during sexual intercourse, excessive force was used, causing the Qi and Blood in the palm to stagnate. Over time, this stagnation causes protrusion and elevation. It is neither painful nor itchy, eventually forming necrotic tissue (dead flesh). The prescription uses one Aconite Radix Preparata (Fuzi) decocted in water. Soak the hand in the decoction until it cools down. Continue this for ten days; pain will inevitably arise. Soaking again will cause itching. Continued soaking will flatten the elevated area. This is because Aconite Radix Preparata is extremely hot and penetrates all channels. Even when applied externally, its medicinal properties enter internally. If the patient were to drink the Aconite decoction, heat would spread throughout the body, stirring up Stomach Fire. The necrotic tissue on the palm would not resolve, and internal symptoms would proliferate. Therefore, I cured it using external treatment. Adding one fen of Calomelas (Qingfen) to the Aconite decoction can guide the medicine into the bone marrow, yielding even more miraculous effects.
A person’s nose swells to the size of a fist, with unbearable pain, as if dying. This is due to Heat-Fire from the Lung channel stagnating in the nose without an outlet. The treatment principle is to clear the pathogens from the Lungs and remove the Fire from the nose. The prescription consists of Scutellariae Radix (Huangqin) 3 qian, Licorice Root (Gancao) 3 qian, Platycodonis Radix (Jiegeng) 5 qian, Asteris Herba (Ziwan) 2 qian, Stemona Radix (Bubai) 1 qian, Asparagi Radix (Tiantaodong) 5 qian, Ophiopogonis Radix (Maidong) 3 qian, Perillae Folium (Suye) 1 qian, and Trichosanthis Radix (Tianhuafen) 3 qian. Decoct in water and take orally. (Annotation: Jie Yong Tang / Unblocking Decoction.) After four doses, the swelling naturally subsides. The efficacy of this formula lies in all herbs entering the Lung channel to eliminate Fire pathogens. How could stagnation and swelling fail to resolve? This is treating a strange disease with standard methods.
A man’s breast suddenly swells, resembling that of a woman, with excruciating pain upon palpation. Treatments over years have failed. This is caused by toxic vapors from the Yangming channel knotting in the breast. However, this toxin is not a sore-toxin but a phlegm-toxin. If it were a sore-toxin, it would not persist for so long without external ulceration. Since it remains swollen for years, it must be phlegm-toxin. The treatment principle is to resolve phlegm and unblock stasis, which will yield rapid results like an echo.
The prescription uses Honeysuckle Flower (Jinyinhua) 1 liang, Dandelion Herb (Gongying) 1 liang, Trichosanthis Radix (Tianhuafen) 5 qian, White Mustard Seed (Baijiezi) 5 qian, Aconite Radix Preparata (Fuzi) 1 qian, Bupleuri Radix (Chaihu) 2 qian, Paeoniae Radix Alba (Baishao) 3 qian, Tinosporae Caulis (Tongcao) 3 qian, and Tetrapanacis Medulla (Mutong) 1 qian, Stir-fried Gardenia Fruit (Chao Zhizi) 3 qian, Poria (Fuling) 3 qian. Decoct in water and take orally. (Annotation: Hua Sheng Tong Zhi Tang / Transforming Sage Unblocking Stasis Decoction.) The brilliance of this formula lies in Honeysuckle Flower and Dandelion Herb directly entering the Yangming channel, assisted by herbs that clear phlegm and unblock stasis. Aconite Radix Preparata guides the other herbs straight to the target, breaking through hardness. Why worry about unresolved phlegm knots? One might doubt the use of Aconite Radix Preparata, given its extreme heat and the principle that "all pain belongs to Fire." However, without Aconite, it is impossible to penetrate the hardest areas. Moreover, the sour-cold nature of Gardenia Fruit and Paeoniae Radix Alba moderates the intense heat of Aconite. Thus, there is no need to fear excessive heat.
The sole of a person’s foot is red as fire, making it impossible to touch the ground. It is not phlegm-toxin, yet it persists for years. This condition arises from taking hot medicines followed immediately by sexual intercourse, causing Fire to gather in the center of the foot without dispersing. The treatment principle requires internal medication to resolve it; external treatment would cause the sole to rot and fall off. The prescription uses Prepared Rehmannia Root (Shudi) 3 liang, Cornus Officinalis Fruit (Shanzhuyu) 5 qian, Schisandra Berry (Beiwuweizi) 3 qian, Ophiopogonis Radix (Maidong) 1 liang, Scrophulariae Radix (Yuanshen) 1 liang, Glehniae Radix (Shashen) 1 liang, Moutan Cortex (Danpi) 3 qian, Chrysanthemi Flos (Ganjuhua) 5 qian, Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix (Niuxi) 3 qian, Dendrobii Nobile Caulis (Jinchai Shihu) 1 liang, Poria (Fuling) 5 qian, Alisma Rhizome (Zexie) 3 qian, Plantaginis Semen (Cheqianzi) 3 qian, and Dioscoreae Hypoglaucae Rhizoma (Bixie) 2 qian. Decoct in water and take orally. (Annotation: Qu Huo Dan / Fire-Removing Pill.) Ten doses reduce the condition; twenty doses cure it completely. Sexual abstinence for three months is required; otherwise, relapse is certain, leading to death. Be cautious.
In cases where fingers or toes have fallen off but the patient survives, this occurs when a patient with Typhoid Fever experiences thirst and drinks excessive cold water to relieve temporary thirst. The water stagnates in the abdomen, failing to disperse quickly, causing disease in the limbs and blocking Qi and Blood. Over time, the fingers and toes rot and fall off. If toes fall off first, the sole may later rot and fall off. If a patient who drank excessive cold water during Typhoid Fever shows weeping from fingers or toes after recovery, use my prescription immediately to save them from further loss. The prescription uses Coicis Semen (Yiren) 3 liang, Poria (Fuling) 2 liang, Cinnamomi Ramulus (Rougui) 1 qian, Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma (Baizhu) 1 liang, and Plantaginis Semen (Cheqianzi) 5 qian. Decoct in water and take. Ten consecutive doses promote profuse urination, stopping the weeping and preventing future complications. Do not take excessively.
If fingernails fall off completely without pain or itching, this is due to deficient Fire in the Kidney channel, exacerbated by washing hands with cold water after intercourse. The prescription uses Liuwei Dihuang Wan (Six-Ingredient Pill with Rehmannia) added with Bupleuri Radix (Chaihu), Paeoniae Radix Alba (Baishao), and Drynariae Rhizoma (Gusuibu) to cure the condition.
If bleeding continues from between the fingers, with small insects resembling mayflies emerging and flying away, this is caused by damp-heat generating parasites. Why do they fly? Because, in addition to damp-heat, wind pathogen is involved. Insects exposed to wind develop wings and can fly; similarly, humans infected with wind-pathogen-associated parasites can exhibit such phenomena. The prescription uses Poria (Fuling) 3 qian, Phellodendri Cortex (Huangbai) 5 qian, Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Danggui) 3 qian, Paeoniae Radix Alba (Baishao) 3 qian, Raw Licorice Root (Sheng Gancao) 3 qian, Ginseng Radix (Renshen) 1 qian, Bupleuri Radix (Chaihu) 1 qian, Schizonepetae Spica (Jingjie) 1 qian, Prepared Rehmannia Root (Shudi) 5 qian, Chuanxiong Rhizoma (Chuanxiong) 1 qian, Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma (Baizhu) 3 qian, and Coicis Semen (Yiren) 5 qian. Decoct in water and take. The brilliance of this formula lies not in killing insects, but in tonifying Qi and Blood while assisting with dampness removal and wind dispersion. When Qi and Blood are harmonious, parasites cannot thrive. Tonifying Qi and Blood removes their hiding places, and expelling water and wind leaves them nowhere to live. This is why the formula is both mild and miraculous. Four doses stop bleeding and prevent insect emergence. Another four doses restore the fingers to normal.
If the throat suffers massive swelling, distinct from goiter, with intermittent pain and five-colored patterns on the exterior, feeling semi-empty and semi-solid upon pressure, this is a phlegm nodule, resembling a tumor but not quite, resembling a goiter but not quite. The prescription uses Sargassum (Haizao) 3 qian, Pinelliae Rhizoma (Banxia) 3 qian, White Mustard Seed (Baijiezi) 3 qian, Fritillariae Bulbus (Beimu) 3 qian, Arisaematis Rhizoma (Nanxing) 3 qian, Ginseng Radix (Renshen) 3 qian, Poria (Fuling) 5 qian, Eckloniae Thallus (Kunbu) 1 qian, Aconite Radix Preparata (Fuzi) 1 fen, Platycodonis Radix (Jiegeng) 3 qian, and Licorice Root (Gancao) 1 qian. Decoct in water and take. This is a sacred formula for resolving upper jiao phlegm. Sargassum and Eckloniae Thallus remove the external appearance of goiters and eliminate the five-colored patterns. Its brilliance lies in resolving phlegm without damaging Qi, strengthening Stomach Qi to facilitate phlegm transformation. One dose brings relief, two doses reduce most symptoms, three doses eliminate it completely, and four doses prevent recurrence. This formula is also effective for goiter.
If a growth of two inches emerges from the navel, resembling a snake tail but not a snake, without pain or itching, this is attributed to malevolent spirits. However, it is also caused by phlegm-Qi stagnation in the Ren and Dai channels. Such sudden occurrences imply impending disaster, as human bodies manifesting snake or turtle shapes suggest family decline and poor fortune. Treatment involves Borax (Pengsha) 1 fen, Angelicae Dahuricae Radix (Baizhi) 1 qian, Realgar (Xionghuang) 1 qian, Borneolum Syntheticum (Bingpian) 1 fen, Moschus (Shexiang) 1 fen, and Camellia Seed Tea (Ercha) 2 qian, all powdered. Pierce the tail to bleed; the patient will faint. Immediately apply the powder, turning the mass into black water. Then decoct Angelicae Dahuricae Radix (Baizhi) 3 qian in water and drink to cure. If ineffective, accept fate; do not treat further, as strong evil spirits cannot be removed by medicine. They are either past-life enemies or present-life demons.
If a fleshy appendage drags from the anus, resembling a snake but moving in and out, without hindering defecation, this is extreme damp-heat in the Large Intestine generating a monster-like flesh growth in the rectum. It is flexible like a snake but is actually tissue. Treatment requires internal decoctions and external applications. Internal prescription: Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Danggui) 1 liang, Paeoniae Radix Alba (Baishao) 1 liang, Aurantii Fructus (Zhike) 1 qian, Areca Seed (Binglang) 1 qian, Raphani Semen (Luobozhi) 3 qian, Sanguisorbae Radix (Diyu) 5 qian, and Rheum Palmatum Radix et Rhizoma (Dahuang) 1 qian. Decoct in water and take before meals. (Annotation: Zhu Xie Sha She Dan / Evil-Expelling Snake-Killing Pill.) After two doses, apply Borneolum Syntheticum (Bingpian) externally. Wash with decoction of Wood Ear Mushroom (Mu’er) 1 liang. After washing, apply powdered Borneolum Syntheticum (Bingpian) 1 fen. The growth will retract and heal miraculously.
If parasites emerge from the anus causing extreme itching, resembling genital movement, this results from childhood exposure to wind during play. Prepare a suppository using honey, combined with Cnidii Fructus (Chuanshangzi) 3 qian, Raw Licorice Root (Sheng Gancao) 1 qian, and Toosendan Fructus (Lianshu Gen) 3 qian, all powdered and melted in honey. Insert into the anus and let it dissolve naturally. One application stops itching and cures the condition.
If five-colored stones pass in urine, preceded by severe pain and followed by relief, this is Stone Lin Syndrome. It occurs after intercourse followed by water exposure, or vice versa. The prescription uses Prepared Rehmannia Root (Shudi) 3 liang, Poria (Fuling) 5 liang, Coicis Semen (Yiren) 5 liang, Plantaginis Semen (Cheqianzi) 5 liang, Cornus Officinalis Fruit (Shanzhuyu) 3 liang, Green Salt (Qingyan) 1 liang, Drynariae Rhizoma (Gusuibu) 2 liang, Alisma Rhizome (Zexie) 3 liang, Ophiopogonis Radix (Maidong) 5 liang, Euryale Semen (Qianshi) 8 liang, and Cinnamon Bark (Rougui) 3 qian. Powder all ingredients and form pills with honey. Take 1 liang morning and evening with plain boiled water. (Annotation: Xiao Shi Shen Dan / Stone-Resolving Divine Pill.) Within ten days, the suffering of passing stones ceases. This condition is agonizing: urgency without ability to void, or inability to hold back. Pain feels like knife-cutting in the urethra. Only one stone passes with great effort, making a crisp sound, and does not dissolve in water. It forms from Bladder Fire boiling fluids. Colors vary (red, white, yellow, green, black) due to water stagnation and Fire boiling. The formula’s brilliance lies not in treating Stone Lin directly, but in tonifying Kidney Water. When Water is sufficient, Fire dissipates; when Fire dissipates, Water transforms. Treating the Bladder directly would block Qi and hinder water transformation.
If a large fleshy mass suddenly appears on the calf, resembling a tumor but not quite, painful upon pressure, this is caused by Spleen Dampness knotting with internal Heat. The treatment principle is to strongly tonify Spleen Qi and resolve Dampness. External anomalies are hard to resolve internally alone, so combine internal and external treatments. Internal prescription: Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma (Baizhu) 1 liang, Poria (Fuling) 3 qian, Coicis Semen (Yiren) 1 liang, Euryale Semen (Qianshi) 1 liang, Alisma Rhizome (Zexie) 5 qian, Cinnamon Bark (Rougui) 5 fen, Plantaginis Semen (Cheqianzi) 3 qian, Ginseng Radix (Renshen) 3 qian, Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix (Niuxi) 2 qian, Dioscoreae Hypoglaucae Rhizoma (Bixie) 3 qian, Alum (Baifan) 3 qian, Chenpi (Chenpi) 2 qian, White Mustard Seed (Baijiezi) 3 qian, and Pinelliae Rhizoma (Banxia) 2 qian. Decoct in water and take. (Annotation: Xiao Shi Hua Guai Tang / Dampness-Resolving Strange-Mass Decoction.) After two doses, prepare external powder: Earthworm Excrement (Qiuyin Fen) 1 liang (stir-fried), Mercury (Shuiyin) 1 qian, Borneolum Syntheticum (Bingpian) 5 fen, Borax (Pengsha) 1 fen, Phellodendri Cortex (Huangbai) 5 qian (stir-fried), Camellia Seed Tea (Ercha) 3 qian, and Moschus (Shexiang) 5 fen. Grind until Mercury disappears. Mix powder with vinegar to form a paste and apply to the lesion. (Annotation: Xiao Kuai Shen Dan / Mass-Resolving Divine Pill.) The mass resolves completely in one day. This paste treats any mass effectively.
If a belt-like flesh mark suddenly appears around the waist extending to the navel, painless and itchless, leading to reduced appetite and Qi-Blood depletion, this is disharmony between the Kidney channel and Dai channel, exacerbated by excessive sexual indulgence. Over time, Dai channel Qi weakens, Blood depletes, and complexion darkens. Though not immediately fatal, the condition is serious. Treatment requires strongly tonifying Kidney Water and regulating the Dai channel. Prescription: Prepared Rehmannia Root (Shudi) 1 jin, Cornus Officinalis Fruit (Shanzhuyu) 1 jin, Eucommiae Cortex (Duzhong) 0.5 jin, Dioscoreae Rhizoma (Shanyao) 0.5 jin, Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma (Baizhu) 1 jin, Cibotii Rhizoma (Pogu Zhi) 3 liang, Ginkgo Seed (Baiguo) 3 liang (stir-fried), Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Danggui) 3 liang, Paeoniae Radix Alba (Baishao) 6 liang, and Plantaginis Semen (Cheqianzi) 3 liang. Powder and form pills with honey. Take 1 liang morning and evening. (Annotation: Mie Hen Dan / Mark-Eliminating Pill.) After ten days, waist feels light. After another ten days, flesh fades. Complete resolution follows. Three months of sexual abstinence are required. This formula primarily tonifies the Kidney channel with minor regulation of Ren and Dai channels. Using herbs for Ren and Dai channels ensures success for diseases of these vessels.
If two fleshy strands grow inside the eye, one inch long and thick as incense sticks, protruding outward, this is attributed to malevolent spirits. Although Liver-Gallbladder Fire is involved, spirits are necessary for such abnormal growth. Apply medication topically: Borneolum Syntheticum (Bingpian) 1 fen, Coptidis Rhizoma (Huanglian) 1 fen, Borax (Pengsha) 0.5 fen, and Licorice Root (Gancao) 1 fen. Grind to silence. Mix with human milk and apply to the tip of the flesh. (Annotation: Qu Ci Quan Mu Dan / Thorn-Removing Eye-Recovery Pill.) The eyeball may feel like it is bursting out but retracts instantly. Follow with oral decoction: Paeoniae Radix Alba (Baishao) 5 qian, Bupleuri Radix (Chaihu) 1 qian, Stir-fried Gardenia Fruit (Chao Zhizi) 3 qian, Licorice Root (Gancao) 1 qian, White Mustard Seed (Baijiezi) 3 qian, Poria (Fuling) 3 qian, Chenpi (Chenpi) 1 qian, and Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma (Baizhu) 3 qian. Decoct in water and take. (Annotation: Shu Yu Quan Jing Dan / Depression-Relieving Eye-Recovery Decoction.) This formula soothes Liver-Gallbladder Qi, clears Fire and Phlegm, addressing the root cause and preventing regrowth.
Scales suddenly appearing on the abdomen or ribs are common in women but rare in men. Legend says male dragons transform into humans and mate with women, causing this condition. Men mating with dragons may also develop scales. Treat quickly; delay may turn the person into a dragon. Powder and form pills with date pulp. (Annotation: Huang Leiyuan / Yellow Omphalia Pill.) Take 3 qian with wine. Immediately pass a bowl of fluid resembling semen, bringing chest relief. Take another 3 qian, and scales fall off. Yuan Gong, I share this knowledge to help you save many lives. Omphalia is non-toxic and dispersing; dragons fear Realgar greatly. Their combination succeeds. Other herbs also remove toxins and water. This is the most miraculous formula.

Master Hua states: There are a few more strange diseases. A snake-shaped mark appears on the hand skin, unbearably painful. This snake mates with the sleeper, causing the condition. Decoctions fail. Pierce with a knife; blood flows like ink. Apply Angelicae Dahuricae Radix (Baizhi) powder externally for slight relief. Repeat next day; blood flows again. Apply Baizhi powder again. The shape dissolves after two piercings. Pierce head then tail, in order.
Another strange symptom: sensation of movement in the throat, worsened by coughing phlegm. Skin cracks with fluid leakage. Eyes are red and swollen but painless. Feet swell like buckets but allow walking. This results from eating raw vegetables contaminated with centipedes. The centipede enters above the stomach opening. In the stomach, it causes pain; rising to the throat, it causes throat pain; hunger exacerbates pain. Cook a chicken, season with five spices, and place near the sleeping patient’s mouth. The centipede will exit. Catch it immediately. Once all centipedes exit, self-healing begins. Then administer: Raw Licorice Root (Sheng Gancao) 3 qian, Coicis Semen (Yiren) 1 liang, Poria (Fuling) 3 liang, Paeoniae Radix Alba (Baishao) 5 qian, Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Danggui) 1 liang, Phellodendri Cortex (Huangbai) 1 liang, Saposhnikoviae Radix (Fangfeng) 5 fen, Schizonepetae Spica (Jingjie) 1 qian, and Chenpi (Chenpi) 1 qian. Decoct in water. (Annotation: Quan Fu Tang / Whole-Skin Decoction.) Ten doses heal cracked skin and reduce foot swelling. Centipedes in the upper jiao cannot be killed by ingested medicine as they reside above the stomach. Extracting them allows Qi-Blood regulation to heal the skin. Cracked skin results from centipede toxins irritating the Lungs, which govern skin/hair. Swollen feet relate to Kidneys; Lungs (Mother) affect Kidneys (Child). Kidney Water is sufficient, but toxins remain in the Kidney region, causing floating skin, not bone disease, allowing walking. Eyes belong to the Liver; Liver inflammation results from Lung toxin fumes.
Another case: Epigastric pain worsening with hunger and cold. I administered garlic juice (3 liang crushed). The patient vomited a three-foot-long snake and recovered. Snakes fear garlic odor.
Another case: Sudden massive facial swelling, micropsia (seeing people as tiny), anorexia, groaning while sleeping. This is Phlegm. (Annotation: Heavenly Master says: Evil spirit oppression.) Use Gualisan (Melon Pedicle Powder) to induce vomiting. Swelling reduces. Vomiting again restores normal vision. Then administer Ginseng Radix (Renshen) 3 qian, Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma (Baizhu) 3 qian, Poria (Fuling) 3 qian, Licorice Root (Gancao) 1 qian, Chenpi (Chenpi) 5 fen, and Pinelliae Rhizoma (Banxia) 3 qian. Decoct and take. Three doses cure.
Treating Chen Deng: Severe chest stuffiness, red face, inability to eat. I diagnosed intestinal worms from eating raw fish. Administered Pinelliae Rhizoma (Banxia) 3 qian, Melon Pedicles (Gua Di) 7, Licorice Root (Gancao) 3 qian, Coptidis Rhizoma (Huanglian) 1 qian, Chenpi (Chenpi) 1 qian, and Ginseng Radix (Renshen) 3 qian to induce vomiting. (Annotation: Modified Gualisan) Vomited three sheng of worms, red-headed with fish-like tails. Advised abstinence from alcohol and sex for long-term health; otherwise, death in three years from fullness. Deng ignored advice and died in three years.
Legend: Master Hua treated a man bitten by a dog on his toe, developing a painful/itchy lump. Some claimed ten needles caused pain and chess pieces caused itch. Cutting revealed nothing. Master Hua said this was later fabrication. He also treated ear flesh growth, red-purple, untouchable. Diagnosed Kidney Fire blazing in the ear. Applied Borax (Pengsha) 1 fen and Borneolum Syntheticum (Bingpian) 1 fen, dissolving the mass into water. Followed with Liuwei Dihuang Wan (Six-Ingredient Pill with Rehmannia). Two courses cured completely.
Master Zhang states: Massive leg swelling, hard as stone, excruciating pain. Patient tied legs and hung from beam to stop pain. Lowering caused sharp pain and a loud crack in the leg; swelling moved to the buttocks, bucket-sized, unable to sit. Hanging resolved pain. This is spirit oppression.
