黄连、黄芩各五钱（均用酒炒制），白僵蚕一钱（炒制），连翘一钱，黑元参二钱，鼠粘子（牛蒡子）一钱，柴胡。
以上药物研为细末，取一半用沸水冲调，时时服用；另一半用炼蜜制成丸剂，含化咽下。
时行疫疠之气，导致目赤肿痛、眼睑溃烂的，属于湿热证；憎寒壮热、头面部肿胀的，属于风热证，这些病邪都发源于手三阴经。

白睛部位肉质增生，形状像鱼鳔漂浮一样，世人常用外用点药或钩割治疗，这绝非正确的治法。我因此制定了消翳汤方，功效胜过钩割手术。
此方能熄灭肝风，消散恶血，草决明治疗青盲症，去除白膜，连翘清泻客热，消散结气，专门泄除大小肠之热，酒炒龙胆草退去湿热之翳障，白蒺藜疏散风邪、破散瘀血，木贼、防己治疗风胜湿阻，甘菊化风，茺蔚子行血，诸药皆入肝经，仍能上行于肺，使用多次验证有效，所以敢向当代医者请教。

用水两钟，煎至一钟，饭后服用。另一版本方中加入全蝎（去毒）一钱。
Coptidis Rhizoma (Huanglian) and Scutellariae Radix (Huangqin), each 5 qian (both stir-fried with wine); Bombyx Batryticatus (Baijiangcan) 1 qian (stir-fried); Forsythiae Fructum (Lianqiao) 1 qian; Scrophulariae Radix (Hei Yuanshen) 2 qian; Arctii Fructus (Shuniuzi) 1 qian; Bupleuri Radix (Chaihu).
The above are ground into powder. Half is mixed with boiling water and taken frequently; the other half is made into pills with refined honey and sucked slowly.
In epidemic diseases, redness and swelling of the eyes with ulceration of the eyelids belong to damp-heat; aversion to cold with high fever and swelling of the head and face belong to wind-heat. These pathogens all originate from the Hand Three Yin meridians.
Scorpio (Shixie) 1.5 qian (raw and ground); Cornu Saigae Tataricae (Lingyangjiao) 1 qian (sliced); Cassiae Semen (Caojieming) 1 qian; Forsythiae Fructum (Lianqiao) 1.5 qian; Tribuli Fructus (Bajili) 1 qian; Gentianae Radix et Rhizoma (Longdancao).
Add two zhong of water, decoct until eight fen remains, take after meals.
Hyperplasia of the flesh in the white part of the eye, resembling a floating fish swim bladder, is commonly treated by people with external drops or hook-cutting surgery, which is certainly not the correct treatment. Therefore, I formulated Xiao Yi Tang (Eliminating Nebula Decoction), whose efficacy surpasses hook-cutting.
This formula extinguishes Liver wind, dissipates evil blood; Cassiae Semen treats amaurosis and removes leukoma; Forsythiae Fructum clears pathogenic heat and dissipates nodules, specifically draining heat from the Large Intestine and Small Intestine; Wine-stir-fried Gentianae Radix et Rhizoma eliminates nebula caused by damp-heat; Tribuli Fructum disperses wind and breaks blood stasis; Equiseti Herba (Muzei) and Saposhnikoviae Radix (Fangji) treat wind overcoming dampness; Chrysanthemi Flos (Ganju) transforms wind; Leonuri Fructus (Chongwei) promotes blood circulation. All herbs enter the Liver meridian but can still ascend to the Lung meridian. Having used it with frequent success, I dare to present it to contemporary physicians for verification.
Magnetitum (Cishi), Cinnabaris (Zhusha), and Mass Medicamentosa Fermentata (Shenqu).
First, place Magnetitum in a fierce fire until red, quench in vinegar seven times, dry, and grind separately into an extremely fine powder (2 liang). Cinnabaris is ground separately into an extremely fine powder (1 liang). Fresh aged Mass Medicamentosa Fermentata is ground into an extremely fine powder. Mix and make into pills.
Dilation of the pupil: Sun Simiao, Ni Weide, and Li Dongyuan all stated that Heart Fire overacting on the Lung causes heat to ascend into the brain and scorch the marrow. Because the nature of fire is diffuse and overflowing, the pupils dilate.
Cinnamomi Ramulus (Lagui), Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma (Chuanxiong), Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Danggui), Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma (Shichangpu), Asari Radix et Rhizoma (Xixin), Akebiae Caulis (Mutong), Aucklandiae Radix (Muxiang), Tribuli Fructus (Bajili) (stir-fried to remove spines), Ephedrae Herba (Mahuang) (remove joints), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao) (roasted).
Add two zhong of water, decoct until one zhong remains, take after meals. Another version adds Scorpio (Quandu) 1 qian.
