Formula for treating neck stiffness and blurred vision caused by Laofeng: Xiong Zhi Wan Pill.
Ingredients: Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma (Chuanxiong, 川芎) [1 liang], Aurantii Fructus Pericarpium (Zhike, 枳壳) [pulp removed, stir-fried with bran, 0.5 liang].
The above two ingredients are ground into fine powder, mixed with refined honey to form pills the size of Sophora japonica seeds. Take ten pills each time, washed down with warm water after meals.
Formula for treating neck stiffness and acute pain, and vexatious heat in the four limbs caused by Laofeng: Ruiyu Yin Decoction.
Ingredients: Polygonati Rhizoma (Ruiyu, 葳蕤) [3 liang], Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma (Renshen, 人参), Saigae Tataricae Cornu (Lingyangjiao, 羚羊角) [shaved, 2 liang each].
The above three ingredients are coarsely crushed and sieved. For each half-liang of herbs, add Fermented Soybean (Douchi, 豆豉) [3 he], and Allii Cepae Bulbus (Congbai, 葱白) [one handful]. Boil with five zhan of water until reduced to two zhan, strain, and divide into two doses to be taken warm on an empty stomach.
Formula for treating fever and vexation, inability to eat, frequent yawning, and restless sleep caused by Laofeng: Huanglian Wan Pill.
Ingredients: Coptidis Rhizoma (Huanglian, 黄连) [fibrous roots removed, 3 liang], Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma (Renshen, 人参), Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens (Shengjiang, 生姜) [thinly sliced and baked dried], Poria Cum Ramo Xyli (Fushen, 茯神) [woody core removed, 1.5 liang each], Polygonati Rhioma (Ruiyu, 葳蕤) [1 liang], Fermented Soybean (Douchi, 豆豉) [dosage missing in text].

The above five ingredients are coarsely crushed and sieved. Each dose consists of three qianbi, boiled with one zhan of water until reduced to seven-tenths volume, strained, and taken warm after meals before retiring.
Formula for treating stagnation, excessive phlegm, regurgitation, and dizziness caused by Laofeng: Fangfeng Tang Decoction.
