马某骇曰∶妇人重身，辄用麻黄发表及姜桂热药，得毋有碍于胎乎？余曰∶有故无殒，何必过虑。某曾犹豫莫决，
即另延数医，皆曰以保胎为主，姜桂大非所宜，竟袭安胎之剂，与服直至腰 腹痛胎动不安，复延予。诊阅其前

Upon my diagnosis, his pulse was deep, fine, rapid, and large, and he defecated two or three times a day. I said: This is Hyperactive Ministerial Fire, and both feet must be cold. Examination confirmed this, so I administered the aforementioned decoction for one dose, symptoms improved, and ten doses cured him. If one does not treat the root but blindly treats the branch, clearing the upper part, few would survive without losing their lives.)

Qinglu Yin Treats Yin Deficiency Throat Ulcer. (Zheng Shufu said: Throat ulcer is a syndrome where True Yin is exhausted, and Ministerial Fire, unchecked, attacks the throat, leading to Throat Bi, throat ulcers, phlegm obstruction, irritability, hoarseness, etc. Commonly known as "fire burning the stove door." At this time, if Liuwei Dihuang Wan is used to tonify water, True Water cannot be generated suddenly; if Shengmai San is used to protect the lung, the chronically inflamed lung cannot be treated by Ginseng and Ophiopogon alone; if Bawei Wan is used to descend fire, the throat passage is uncomfortable, and the nature of Cinnamon and Aconite interacting with Zishen Wan fails to harmonize Water and Fire. Only by urgently using this formula can Water and Fire perform their respective functions, dredge the source, stabilize the flow, guide the Dragon back to the sea, and allow the Five Elements to have mutual generation imagery. Then, treating according to previous formulas will naturally yield results. Patients should plan early; delay leads to disease entering the pericardium, at which point even Lu Yi and Bian Que would be powerless.)

Cover externally with Baishun Gao the size of a coin. Apply for three shichen in summer, one day in spring, autumn, and winter, then remove. Extremely effective.
Helu Yangying Jian (New Formula) Treats chronic ulceration of the previous syndrome.

On the next day's follow-up, swelling and pain increased. I realized it was Ju, and the method should be completely opposite. I changed to Yanghe Tang, one dose showed improvement, five doses cured.
