This is caused by sorrow and indignation leading to qi stagnation rising without descending; its root lies in the Lung. Zhu Yao (Principal Herb) is Kong Qing (Azurite), Zuo Yao (Assistant Herb) is Shang Lu (Phytolaccae Radix).
2. Shu Li (Rat Scrofula): Begins in the neck, without distinct head or tail, like a rat's kernel, moving up and down intermittently, causing chills, fever, and emaciation. This is caused by residual toxins from eating rats not being cleared; its root lies in the Stomach. Zhu Yao is Li Gu (Viverrae Os), Zuo Yao is Zhi Mu (Anemarrhenae Rhizoma).
3. Lou Gu (Mole Cricket Scrofula): Begins in the neck and nape, resembling a mole cricket, swelling and ulcerating continuously with red-yellow discharge. 8. Luo Li (Scrofula): Begins in the neck, with a root, initially painful, causing chills and fever upon discovery.
